i started this waaaaay back when i first binged miraculous ladybug. couldn’t get over the dynamic of superhero duo who don’t know each other’s secret identities but do also know each other in their normal lives, and they’re in love but they aren’t but they are they just don’t know it.

you know, i originally was spending so much time trying to think of sokka’s alter ego, and i put grey wolf in as a filler but then i realized how Sokka it was. like this other dude in a costume introduces himself like “hey, I’m the Blue Spirit” and sokka who hasn’t had time to process yet that he’s a superhero and is indeed the worst at naming things, goes, “oh, Blue Spirit? Hi. I’m….. Grey…. Wolf.” and then zuko would be like “You just used my name as a template! You just changed the color and the creature!!!” and sokka’s like “Whaaaaat! Nooooo. No. I actually had this idea before you even said anything, which means actually you are the one copying me!” and zuko demands he change his name, think of something better, but the news is there so it’s already circulating and people are saying what a nice pair they make

Despite my long hiatus, the moon spirit Sokka post kept/keeps getting likes and every time it does a piece of my soul evaporates because of my old style.

So obviously I had to redraw it

And now I present “Moon Spirit Sokka AU only he’s blessed by Yue because he was hiding a potentially fatal injury during the siege…” pt. 2 [the redrawn version]

If you are not Muslim, and I am also not Muslim, we should not be using the term hijab in place of headscarf. They are not interchangeable. To wear hijab is not just the scarf, and without incorporating islam it is not our word to use

My intention is always to create content to uplift and celebrate others, and I want to do so as respectfully and thoughtfully as possible. I hope you all can agree

#prev tags #something similar happened to me #my best friend and i were doing the yearly cross-country run with our school #during the whole 1.4 km run i did not stop once but she kept taking breaks but we were still doing it together #right when we were at the 20M pathway to the finish line i did like fake joke like i was gonna sprint like an oop kinda thing #but like i didn't actually sprint but then she actually started sprinting and passed me bc she has good speed but shit endurance #i tried to go after her but she was too fast and she beat me #i was so bitter she got there before me #also the ranking placements were hung up for the whole school to see and somehow there was some random guy in between us that we didn't see- #-while we were racing #so it made it looks so i was even slower #you know what sucked is that you only got the free water bottle they brought if you had asthma

It’d be a missed opportunity if I ignored the date

Kaseh is one of the young boys from the village. While the men were off at war, he spent a lot of his time with Sokka, even more than his own mother. He followed him around an idolized him, he practically became a mini-Sokka. When Sokka left with Katara to help the Avatar he was devastated, but it only furthered the hero worship Kaseh felt towards Sokka. When the war was over and they came back to the Water Tribe, Kaseh was overjoyed, exited to hear about all the adventures Sokka had. He also needed Sokka more than ever since he found out his dad passed in the final weeks of the war. For the next two years, they spend a lot of time together when Sokka wasn’t traveling. Sokka sharing his stories of the world and love of creating with Kaseh. However, Kaseh’s mother suddenly falls ill and Kaseh is soon left an orphan. Sokka already caring deeply for Kaseh takes him under his wing and soon adopts him. During this time of adjustment Sokka stops traveling, instead sending letters to his friends to communicate with them, most of the letters now featuring stories of Kaseh and his fondness for the kid. Most of his friends do end up coming to visit, especially Aang because of Katara, all of them meeting Kaseh. Yet, for the first two years after adopting Kaseh Sokka doesn’t see Zuko, busy trying to obsolete the monarchy. However, his correspondence with Zuko is the richest and most consistent, sending and receiving a letter every week. Sokka and Zuko therefore growing closer and developing feeling they don’t understand even without seeing each other in person. With each letter he receives from Sokka, Zuko’s feelings for the man grows stronger, as well an unexpected fondness for Kaseh, a boy he’s never met. After two year Zuko get’s sent to the Southern Water tribe for work and finally gets to see Sokka again and meet Kaseh. 

This was supposed to be for @zukkaweek​ prompt zukka dads but it’s extremely late. It’s technically only sokka dad, but it’s pre-Zukka dads. There will probably be a part two (hopefully)
