Hey yall, I been on here just not posting much and focusing a lot on work and weight loss and krav and everything else. I been wanting to post the music I been listening to lately but my phone storage sucks however once I delete some stuff I should be good to post. Posting this because it was already in my gallery but mannnn this album im already projecting to be album of the year! I been a fan of Tyler for a longtime and he has always come through for me and I am heavily satisfied with this album. From the production to the lyrics, Tyler has been nothing but progress like just keeps progressing every album. Theres so many more good things to say about this album that can't be typed out due to running out of characters, the features is insane like never would imagine a track with Tyler, youngboy, and tydollarsign together and it blending so smoothly. Its always great to hear Wayne going off on a track and haven't heard domo and Tyler together on a song in a long while so that was pretty cool too. Today we lost one of the greatest rappers of all time and one of my personal favorites, a trailblazer in his own right and probably the most respected in rap. Hey guys, sorry that I been so inactive within the past month but I been so busy up till recently and now I have time to reflect on 2019 and focus on my goals going into the new year. 2019 was like an upward/downward spiral for me, a lot of emotions between going through a lot of emotional pain and depression to achieving one of my life long goals. Changing job titles from being at a job I thought I would make a career in to going to another one that I found perfect for me. Losing some people I thought would stay in my life and gaining new people that I need in my life. I feel like I can finally say with certainty that I am feeling and living through that positivity I been striving for years for and bettering myself. My goals for this year are simple, keep that positive aspect and stay away from the negatives and people with that toxicity. Focus on my career, i have a good feeling in me that everything I always wanted to do will finally happen to me. Shed some pounds and get to my ideal weight, as long as i stay on track with going to the gym and stop eating those damn calories and carbs lol I know I'll achieve it. Settle down, I been wanting this since I was 19 lol like coming home to my pets and my lover and maybe one kid and being extra and take family portraits and pictures and stuff like that 😂 it's a great feeling and I want that, I already got my grey hairs I'm not getting any younger lmao. Spend as much time as I can with family and friends, 2020 so far has shown me that we shouldn't take life for granted and appreciate everyone that we call a friend or family in our lives because unfortunately we all wont be alive forever and having that regret of not spending time with someone sucks believe me. So any time I have free time, I want it to be around either my family, friends, or lover. I want them to know I appreciate them and how much they mean to me and how I enjoy their company and grateful for them. Finally, be as kind as I can. I know I got haters but instead of spreading hate just wish them the best and keep moving forward. Hey guys, I'm back with a review. Spray for the inconvenience, I just been really busy but I wanted to give this review to you guys. I was so excited to hear about the new Earl project and this one has really shown how earl is able to go his own creative direction. If theres one thing you can always get out of earl is his lyricism, always a standout when it comes to his music and this album has that along with some creative flow, nice sampling and production. It seems like he had a unique approach delivering this album, so far I been hearing a lot of mixed reviews about it but I can say that i dig it for the most part. Hey guys! Sorry for going ghost on here but so much shit has happened to me personally that I been going through but despite that I am back with some new music for you guys to hear if you haven't already. So I will do a full review on the first two and I hope I dont run out of space to type but because I just recently dove into them i will do a brief review on the last one. #K-12 by #MelanieMartinez So I personally loved this album and I thought it was so much improvement and more storytelling and even more sexual and emotional vibes than #crybaby in which I loved that album as well. This album had a lot more creativity and uniqueness, like track by track enjoyed Melanie's ability to fascinate me on her unique musical style and vocals. My favorite tracks are #highschoolsweethearts #strawberryshortcake #classfight #lunchboxfriends #orangejuice #detention I recommend checking out the movie as well and I hope to get more of this experience from melanie on future projects. #NormanFuckingRockwell by #LanaDelRey What can I say that's already been said about lana, besides her outstanding and stunning beauty her musical ability is another stand out as well. I really love the vibe of the album however I feel like there was was a lot more to offer on #lustforlife dont get me wrong I liked the album and I love the #sublime cover and track by track good but I just felt like overall I was expecting more. Hey guys, so I'm back with some new music reviews. Sorry for the delay I've been busy lately but I'm happy to review these two artists as I dig them a lot. Nickolas Erickson- So My Longtime Bro just released this Refreshing Piano EP and if you know him and heard of his piano covers then you know that he's a delight to listen to. This EP has been in my rotation since the release as my most favorite tracks are #you #loveme so I highly recommend checking this out and giving him a follow as well as checking out his awesome band (one of my favorites) @cohenband Pi'erre Bourne- If you are a fan of rap music and listen to it often then most likely you heard the famous Jamie Foxx sample "Yo Pi'erre! You wanna come out here? Ahhhhhh" before the track begins. I found pierre through #playboicarti usually there's always a good producer to every good rapper, I can compare him to how kanye was when he started out. Hear me out, kanye started out as jay-z's producer and if you are a fan of yeezy then you know that his production as well as his samples and rapping inspired a new era of producers and rappers. With pi'erre's signature sample as well as his unique voice and lyrical flow with his outstanding production, he's sure to make people take notice. Tracks like #mariecarie #honeyberry #planetnamek all show this style, so I was really excited to hear about this album through #Pitchfork So far I've heard mixed reviews all between 6 to 8 in a 1-10 range, I say this album is worthy for a strong 7 to early 8. This album is a good start for an up and coming most definitely, the only track that was my least favorite was #juice besides that track by track to me were pretty good. My most favorite tracks are #Racer #SpeedDial #Lovers #Guillotine #Poof #Doublemint #StereoTypes so I highly recommend checking him out and give your own point of view on this.
