Hi everyone! I just wanted to pop on here to extend the invite to join the Vampire Academy Secret Santa event I’m running over on Twitter.

Anyone is most welcome and all the details are in the graphics — in summary, you have until 9 December to sign up, after then you will be secretly allocated a giftee (plus details of any preferences or interests they have to help inspire your gift - you will be matched with like people!), you keep your identity a secret and make a VA-related gift (ie. fanfic, video edits, fanart, poems, playlists, gifs, graphics, etc) and all gifts will be exchanged between 24 and 26 December 🎄✨

YES. Been on law school hiatus but my last exam is next week, hopefully then can binge watch OUAT and get back into some vidding

That said... I’m also going on another trip to the US in December but definitely gonna aim to fit some vidding around travelling cos god I miss it :)

Im a swan queen shipper but i LOVE your videos. The killian jones its an end not a beginning video made me stop being so anti cs! Really love them, you are unbelievably talented. Have any of the cast watched your videos cos they really should. :)

Of course!

I never intentionally stopped vidding them, I just got to a point where I physically did not have the time. I’m currently in 4th year law student (also studying journalism, advanced spanish and doing an internship on top of my law subjects) and struggling to even manage study and any amount of social life without even considering vidding!

To put things in perspective, I haven’t even had time to watch OUAT since the midseason break - and I haven’t not watched OUAT every week since it started. So it’s pretty big for me to not even have time to watch.

Not sure when I’m going to free up but when that day comes I’m eagerly looking forward to diving back into the vidding world ♥

What law are you studying and how hard is it?

I’m not studying a particular kind of law, I’m doing a Bachelor of Laws so it covers most areas of law and basically my entire degree is core units with the exception of three. Currently this trimester? I’m doing the subjects Land Law and Legal Ethics, last trimester I did Property Law and Corporate Law and when I studied in America over the summer I did a unit in Advanced Concepts in Corporate Law.

As for how hard it is, I answered that here :’)

Hi there, As always, a big fan of your videos whenever you post them! :) I've been trying to make one of my own and I had a question. How do you manage to pull out the dialogue from an episode and damp down the background noise and music? I have just one line I'd like to include in my video but the background noises just make it sound so out of place. Do you have any tricks that you use and could recommend? Thank you!

Hihi, thank you so much! Unfortunately this is one thing that still alludes me - I’d love to know how to completely remove backgroun music/noise but I haven’t yet been able to work it out. 

What I generally do is just play with the audio on the individual clip - that is, add a volume effect onto the individual clip and adjust it up/down depending on what you want. Obviously it’s not completely ideal as you’re also lowering the dialogue but balancing that volume with that of the background song/score it at least helps a bit!

If anyone does know how to do this properly though - I’m always looking to find out!

Hey, I just wanted to say I think it's amazing how dedicated you are as a fan towards Jennifer Morrison. The story about you meeting her at the Oz Comic Con was so lovely and none of my friends understand my love for her and how she has helped through a really tough time in my life over the years, even though she doesn't know I exist haha. You've inspired me to write a letter to her just to say thanks for everything and hopefully it will reach her. She is very lucky to have fans like you xo

I don’t even know what to say, this is so beautiful and made my heart smile really long) OZCC recap! She’s truly such a beautiful and genuine human being and I can see how she can be such an inspiration to help people get through hard times in their life and I’m so glad she was able to do that for you. I definitely encourage you to do that, whether or not she can physically reply to everyone, spending time with her over that weekend you could really tell she genuinely appreciates and is touched by all the lovely words and gifts from her fans.
