I will be publishing many of the timelapses of my illustrations on Instagram, if you want you can follow me on killerlaurent so you can see the processes βΊοΈ
Remember when Lord Harlech tried to finish off Amadeo by cutting his face with a poisoned knife? and Marius had to convert him with the pain in his heart because the master admitted that Amadeo was too young to be a vampire :'(((((
//Your work is breathtaking and I'm so excited about all of it. You put so much hard work and effort and years of fine tuning into it and it pays off. You're one of the greats. And you're an inspiration. I hope you will never lose your love for it. We certainly won't. β‘
Thank you! I really burn my eyes working on my illustrations, even so I think I still have a lot to learn, anyway it is you and all the people who support me who inspire me to continue with this, again: Thank you so much <333
I discovered your art recently and I'm OBSESSED, everything is so beautiful and perfect, I can't even describe in words all the feelings your art makes me feel ( so I'll leave some images here that come close ... )
Hahaha youβre so sweet π thank you so much! π€
Hello! I've been working on this commission for a few days, this is the process of how I work the realistic style in illustrations. The color result will be ready pretty soon. π
Coloring is much easier if you have your base in grisaille, most of the process is curve management and layer combination mode, I usually use multiply and overlay for contrasts (I always separate my color palette at the top)
For the hair I usually use the selection tool for the darkest shadows and for the most intense highlights. For clothes it is the same process (Rendering clothes is always more tedious for me u.u)
Study of shadows and lights :)
Personally, if I want a realistic portrait I prefer to use the gray technique. I generally use brushes without texture for the skin.
