i’ve decided to move blogs! i’ve just finished wrapping up the moving process, so its safe to say that i won’t be using this blog anymore. from now on, this post will stay at the top of my blog (no other posts will be deleted though!). i’ve dmed a number of people my new @,, and if anyone else wants to have it dont be afraid to hmu here ^^

ways to love yourself

peel and cut fruits for yourself

express strong emotions into paper or paint

take yourself on walks to feel calmer

do rewarding things that make you feel strong and confident

go to the beach or forest, wherever you feel most connected to

love others fully and don’t be afraid of vulnerability - you’re full of love and kindness. people who matter would not take that for granted

believe in yourself - if someone else can do it, so can you

praise yourself for trying your best and making progress - even if it’s slower than you want it to be, you’re on the right path

drink enough water, it’s important but only takes a few seconds

pour your heart and soul into what intrigues you, not what everyone else does

surround yourself with soft scents, colors and words that help you feel calm

turn off electronics before bedtime so you can have a restful sleep and wake up refreshed for a new day

be connected with your body - dance, ride a bike, swim, walk

be connected with nature - it’s beautiful and can help you feel healed and thankful

allow yourself patience and plenty of new beginnings

drink warm tea to be cozy in winter

don’t turn to harmful things when you feel sad or angry. most of them make you feel worse, you don’t deserve that

take some time to make a nice meal for yourself - you deserve it

sleep with soft blankets and maybe a plush toy to hug

wear what you like - people who judge arent worth your time

be kind to all humans and animals, it’s a small way of changing the world, and it makes you feel happier too

read books that attract you in their own special way, you don’t need to read what’s popular

when you worry about your future, tell yourself that it will go well because that’s a true possibility

open the curtains and windows, be in a bright, welcoming environment. like a plant, you need sunlight to feel happier and grow

do not hurt yourself in any way - you’re soft, lovely and need to be protected

remember that you need love. you don’t deserve to be cruel to yourself.

some lovely things about day6

• youngk has talked about how people’s pain and struggles are not comparable and just bc someone seems like they’re suffering more than you doesn’t make your pain invalid and that you should believe in yourself to overcome anything

• when a fan expressed concern about how much she eats and how her family often pushes her to eat less to lose weight, sungjin related to it saying he is also the bigger one in his family but it’s really nothing bad, if anything it just means that she eats well which is a blessing!

• wonpil responding saying that he will take and post more bf/lq pictures in response to a fan saying that she used wonpil’s picture to show a dude that wonpil was her bf so the guy would leave her alone after persisting for a long time.

• a fan asking “how to eat prettily when with guys” and youngk saying enjoying what u eat is the prettiest while wonpil making sure that we don’t assume that this is a girl as men can want to eat prettily too

• sungjin not understanding cinderella as when you love someone it shouldn’t matter what they look like

• jae assuring a fan who was worried about spending more years at university by saying that a lot of his friends finished college in 5 years and quoting their song marathon “it’s ok to go slow”

• youngk talking about the topic of loneliness in making of songs such as “I need somebody” and “all alone” saying that they too relate to the feeling of being utterly alone

• youngk telling fans that he wishes that they’re not only happy when they see/listen to day6 but that they’re happy all the time and making them promise to always strive for happiness

• when a fan told wonpil that he deserves all the love, he saying that all human being deserve love and kindness, he also talked about how we shouldn’t compare ourselves to others so much when we’re behind as our time will come too and everything is going to be okay
