The best and most realistic aspect of rhe new #PokemonGO Buddy system is how the Pokemon bring you "gifts." Usually it's a useful item or something thoughtful like a flower. Of all the amazing things to appear on the show Legion, I think my favorite has to be the characters of Cary and Kerry Loudermilk, the timid older mutant science genius and the sword-wielding badass young woman who lives inside him.

I'm glad the Loudermilks got to play a big part in the conclusion, and even got their own beautiful ending.

I hope this isn't the last we see of them. Amber Midthunder and Bill Irwin were great together, with a chemistry that felt part best friends, part halves of a whole, part parent and child (and with the characters taking turns in the parent-child roles, even). I'd love to see them make an appearance in their new timeline in a future Marvel movie--give them their own Hulu or Disney+ miniseries, even! At the very least, they deserve to be brought into the Marvel comics universe, like Agent Coulson and others.

But even if none of that happens, at least we'll always have LEGION... "Nothing of value is ever lost."
