Voting for my monthly Patreon Pin-up Posts 2024 has officially begun

I am almost done with finishing the current NieYao comic. According to the number of pages, I will post the last page in August 2024 on Patreon. As, I already stated in a previous post, following that I will bring back monthly Pin-up artworks of characters as my monthly Patron reward to you guys. I am working on a new comic project, that will debut in September on Patreon, but since this project is far more labor-intensive, than my previous comics, I will probably not be able to update it every month. And thus, starting from September 2024, I will post a Pin-Up fanart of a character each month.

And my Patrons have the final say in who will be featured each month. But in order to make these Pin-up posts possibly attractive even to people, who are not yet signed up to my Patreon, I decided to split the voting up in 3 Phases.

Phase 1 starts today and ends on April 29th 2024. Everyone (signed up or not) can partake in this phase. In this phase, I will present you guys with a selection of possible Pin-up scenarios, that I am willing to draw, and you get to tell me, just how interested are you in seeing Pin-up art depicting these scenarios.

Phase 2 starts on April 29th and ends on May 29th. Everyone can partake in this one too. In this phase you get the opportunity to send me outfits or poses, that you would like to see me use for my Pinups and you get to suggest characters from fandoms, that I will preselect, that you want to see in these Pinups.

Phase 3 starts on May 29th and ends on June 29th. This phase is exclusively for people, who signed up to my Patreon. In this final vote, you will select the 5 characters and outfits, you want to see in the monthly Pinups from September 2024 until January 2025.

NieYao modern AU - Patron request

NieYao met on a dating app and after chatting and flirting with each other for weeks, they finally agreed on a date. A-Yao picked this café, since it belongs to his sister-in-law and she promised to keep an eye on them, in case he got catfished, or worse.

The Dragon King's Bride Is A Fox!? - Title Page

Finishing this whole thing, took me two full days. (._.") But, that only means, it was a good decision not to set up a fixed upload schedule for the new comic. Because, now I know that the quality would just suffer too much, if I put myself under too tight a time constraint with that. (^^") Early release of the first page for patreon is scheduled for Summer 2024. I will keep to my rule, to post the pages with a 2 months delay on all my public platforms.

Although, this is indeed the finalized version of the title page, it is also teaser art for the upcoming comic, introducing some of the main players in this plot of court politics, intrigue and maybe love? From left to right, front to back, we have: Laopo Fu, aka Fufu the main protagonist of our story. Wulong Shu, the dragon king's third-youngest brother, who's deeply invested in his Dage's non-existing love life. Dalong Shu, aka Shufu, the dragon king and long-suffering focus, of Fufu's mischievous attention. Gu Helong, oldest son of Wulong Shu, who got blinded and severely crippled in a volcanic erruption, that completely destroyed his territory. Ben Huoshan, Gu Helong's husband, a powerful dragon, who reigns over the territory that contains a now dormant volcano. Longshe Wang, king of the dragon snakes. Erlong Shu, the eldest of the dragon king's younger siblings.

New Comic Project BTS - Meet Fufu

I finally finished the first character concept for my new comic project. Fufu is one of my OCs, that some of you might already have seen occasionally on my social medias. For the new comic, he got a little redesign. I wanted to stick with his traditional color palette and general choice of clothes, but upgraded the design of his clothes a little. For those of you curious, here's some general character infos:

Name: Fufu aka Laopo Fu aka [redacted] Age: 1000+ yrs Species: Ascended fox spirit/former fox demon Background: Fufu used to be a notorious fox demon, terrorizing the mortal world. After being reprimanded for his crimes by none other than Dalong Shu, the dragon king himself, the demon somehow decided to cultivate on the righteous path, until he ascended. Right after his ascension, he walked straight into the dragon king's palace, assumed the role of his unofficial concubine and took on the name Laopo Fu, or Fufu for short. Dalong Shu hasn't been able to get rid of the troublemaker, ever since.

The new comic will launch on my Patreon summer 2024 and two months later on my social medias.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

I'm working on a huge comic project over on my patreon right now. The new comic will probably start releasing early summer 2024 on tumblr and about 2 months later on my public platforms (including @meiilansnotebook ). The story will be based in the world lore of youlongtongzhi and feature many of the already established characters, as well as characters of friends, who helped me develop the original world lore, in completely revamped designs.

In the video, you can see a few first concept sketches for some of the important characters, that are already posted on my patreon. While I'm still working on my ongoing fan-comic, I will keep posting WIPs, concept sketches and BTS information on patreon. I might even sprinkle in some exclusive mini-comics about some of the characters' backstories.
