Maybe at the end the meteorite won't even be a sword at all, maybe Mizu will repurpose the metal to something else, like a kitchen knife, which is used to prepare food which is the greatest symbol of caring and nurturing ever, or maybe she'll make more tools for Ringo, or hair ornaments for Akemi, or blend it with Taigen's broken sword to make it whole again.

My point is, maybe she will change, maybe she won't be a sword anymore.

I think the meteorite is not bending anymore because it is not what Mizu wants, she doesn't want only revenge, she wants her people, her friends and wants to be happy with them. She can't do that with her path of revenge, and that's why she left them- and the sword- in Japan.

thinking about Mizu being similar to the meteor and how it changes the "All metal wants to be a sword" exchange. It makes the image of young Mizu, still left with a bit of hope, saying that maybe the metal doesn't want only one thing in life, that it might not want to be a sword, an object which causes only pain, the line between life and death, so much more haunting. It feels like a metaphor for her whiteness, the idea that she's destined to violence as her one and only path. Child Mizu wants to believe there's more. But the meteor yields eventually, to none other then her - because she enforces this path, this idea, on herself most.

Tbh I don't think Mikio called her a monster bc she was a woman.

She is a ferocious fighter, and while she was having fun, if you watched the scene you can see she was just- playing with him, and he was STRUGGLING to keep up with her. It was a friendly spar, he did not expected to feel in danger. And in the end he noticed it was just a game for Mizu.

I'm sure you've seen posts from girls who have been playing rough with their boyfriends/male friend/brother and then notice how ultimately weak they are compared to them. Something like that would obviously make you afraid. And Mizu literally put a blade in his neck. What did you expect??

So yeah, maybe Mikio suggested the duel thinking, "She's not that strong, she didn't even had a master." not because she was a woman (although with the time period there's probably some of that added to the mix), because she didn't had a master. That would make sense, and if all the characters that died are, well, still dead, that means that there's no Condesce, and neither there is a Heiress (nor imperial lusus), so I think Violet cast would riot as they try to crown themselves as new rulers. That also means Bro, Mom and Dad are dead, what'll happen to Dirk, Dave, Roxy and Rose? John and Jane would inherit crocker Corp, Jade and Jake would still be on their Island so although they're is not OKAY they're good, they have each other and that's best than nothing

I found the concept very sad that one day the characters wake up with their memories intact of everything they experienced in the game to repeat that same hell.

Now I wonder what would happen if Sburt's reward ends up being to return his planets as they are to continue their existence only with the memories implanted.

They may all revive but the fact that they will have to live in their society where they realized certain social issues especially the trolls. Now I wonder what Karkat will do being a mutant on a planet that doesn't want him and the most painful thing I think would be knowing that now the couple with whom you shared the entire game together is now on another stretch of the galaxy.
