Thoughts on Working Alone
I'm not sure what to talk about when I'm not announcing the completion of one of my projects, which I suppose defeats the purpose of being on a social media platform. But I did have a recent experience that might be worth sharing.
Without spoiling too much, Episode 42 of my Chuck's Devils comic will feature the cast in stylish outfits. Although the "research" (searching for photos of beautiful women in fancy clothes) wasn't exactly strenuous, my own lack of fashion sense was a bit of a hindrance.
Sometimes I wish I could be part of a team of people that could help me with areas I lack expertise in, which are numerous. I've been writing and illustrating this comic all by myself for over five years now, and I've tried to clear these hurdles the best I can.
My ultimate wish is that Chuck's Devils becomes a TV show, with set designers, wardrobe consultants, dialogue writers and many more working together to improve my comic and bring the story to life. It will probably never happen, but a man can dream…
