Random goku appreciation post:

Goku is Like. An underrated character but not in the way you think. Basically in my opinion he’s underrated for what he really is. Most ppl will either blindy d ride him purely bc they want some ultra mega alpha male to follow or will hate him bc of the latter, which is unfair. He’s a silly guy who, yea, can be serious, but it’s openly hated by a good chunk of fans. Which is stupid? His non serious side adds so much depth, it shows that he’s human, unlike the saiyans before him. That he had grounds on earth where he’s been raised. To take that away from him literally defeats the point of gokus existence??

Idk this is a small rant. Tldr; He’s not necessarily underrated as in he doesn’t have fans, he does, but his fans don’t understand his character well enough for them to even count, and in turn others who aren’t fans don’t understand him either.

Not to be that fan or anything but erm… GT is Like the most nostalgic for me aside from the cell saga (the very first exposure I had to dbz other than a random game) and while there’s.. many.. many things to complain about (VEGETAS DESIGN COUGH COUGH) I will say the art to me is some of the more solid things. Idk I’m always one to call out ppls nostalgia boners but so this is probably hypocritical as I probably only like it so much BECAUSE of the nostalgia… butttt.. idk there’s smth Abt the way it’s drawn and the grain and the shading that’s just so… it works. It just works man idk.

Fun fact this is my fav iteration of broly (fanon and canon). Idk man super just hit the nail on the head when it came to him.. at least for me anyways. Maybe I’m a little biased bc I always felt sad not seeing new broly content that wasn’t just him being hurt. Super makes me so happy bc we do get to see little pieces of characters lives, broly is a really good example of this. (Cheelai is amazing too augh) That’s one thing I will say I enjoy about super is some of the filler that isn’t pure fighting is great, a nice sit back and relax thing, yk? I enjoy the relationship between goku n broly too theyre so cute

Random hot take of the day.. but the obsession grown ass adults had with corgi butts and dog butte in general was weird as hell and it always weirded me out. Like the mouse pads too?? With the corgi sticking it’s but out and those freaks ate it up y’all were WEIRDD.

Kids I can understand. They’re kids so like? Immaturity etc but grown adults like almost 30 obsessing over a dogs butt and getting merch with its butt out and defined was odd. Not saying it was sexual but to me it was just weird..

See I told y’all I didn’t forget abt dbz posting I just haven’t had much to say publicly that would Warrant a post…

Anyways I wanna talk abt piccolo bc to me he’s one of the more intriguing characters I feel got let down by being pushed to the side. Can we talk abt just like?? How insane it is he went from some intimidating guy who would fight anyone or anything to a domesticated dad😭don’t get me wrong I ADOREEE dad piccolo but I feel like he’s lost his edge, which could be a “on purpose” thing like how gohan became more “human” due to lack of training but?? Idk I miss his old power, he can still be intimidating but they don’t utilize him as much.

Super goku and vegeta had me pissed off too bc when it came time for him to fight they all basically laughed at him? They never even had an inkling he could win or hold a punch which is?? So out of character?? Well more so on gokus part bc??

Anyways that really pissed me off bc they didn’t even give him a chance to fight.
