Thinking about how Portrait of a Lady on Fire said that even if an encounter is brief, the love surrounding it can be lasting and it enriches your life and changes you and that’s never a tragedy
being gay is so hard yes i want to be punk yes i want be a cowboy yes i want to be a pirate yes i want to be cute and pastel yes i want to be a cryptid yes i want to have a dark academia aesthetic no i will not be any of these because i cannot commit to anything and i am worried people will judge me
i literally have no idea what dark academia is but this starts something in me
dark academia; an aesthetic and literary genre based around romanticising academia. my personal motto is to just do what you like, don’t feel pressure to conform to anything, and respect each other.

Rina Sawayama - Another pop artist who recently came out (and with a very gay single “Cherry” at that!) I’ve admired her music for a while now and it was so amazing to learn that many of those songs are about girls. She/her.
Shamir - Nonbinary indie rock/electronic/disco/hip house artist. He was raised Muslim but doesn’t consider himself such anymore. He has no preferred pronoun but is “comfortable with male pronouns and never really got the singular they.”
