antrán’s diary - part 1 AKA butterfly part V
i decided to make a diary 4 the process of my second album hahahaha - firstly a short introduction.
I have been making music since 2016 in a real way and I already have enough material to release.
Between 2018 and 2019 I made material for my first album titled "Truman" and I hope to release it this year, 2020.
With this album, well, what can I say ... It has already been finished since december of last year, now a friend is helping me by editing the visual part of the album, which makes me very happy since precisely that part is where I have the most difficulties - There is already a lyric video ready, a visualizer is being edited and i'm recording things for two other songs so ... at least I will have something to show the world with the videos haha.this diary is to document what I've been doing with the second album (the one I've been creating since 2016) because I feel like I've put it off a lot [well, really lack of creativity with this album because Truman was done over a period of time really short] and I already have some stuff to start mixing and creating.

Hello everyone.
A couple of days ago I went back to see the files I have for the second album and recovered some that I thought had been definitively deleted - thank life and energy I found them, they are the best songs so far - and I started mixing another group of songs, which had already recorded the vocal part in January of this year [I actually re-recorded it, the first vocal takes were from 2018], those specific songs are "wss" "crater song" "grounded" and "red blue" - i'm satisfied with the result of the last two, "grounded" sounds like the end of an intergalactic battle and "red blue" sounds like a song that would be sung by the biggest pop star of any Saturnian moon. With the first two if I feel that I should improve something. I have more hope with "wss", it has material to be recoverable haha, I need to add a few verses and re-record the voice but everything is fine. "crater song" has been a complex song for me - I have rewritten the song 5 times and the vocal demo I recorded ended up being from a song I did as a child and ended up being acceptable with the instrumental, I feel like I must first improve the sound to the synthesizers because it is very badly mixed definitely - and the "beats" that I added yesterday I like them, I made them with my voice but they don't fit well with the song at all. What makes me rescue that song is the beautiful outro it has. That saxophone at the end after those synthesizers represent what I want everyone to feel when listening to the album.
the other songs on the album that I have already mixed are "exodus" - a song that I left out for a long time but I took it up again and it's my favorite. "sauveteur" and "anhedoniac", what makes me sad about the latter is that there is a part where the beats don't sound good [they aren't the worst but they can make you deaf perhaps] and I lost the files of that song - the version that I have doesn't bother me, it's one of the songs that I enjoyed the most in 2017 but perhaps if it sounds annoying to others, I will see how that can be fixed in mastering - but with the others although I lost the files, I love how they ended up in the mixed version.I will try to make more progress over time. I hope this newspaper doesn't go beyond December 31 of this year.
I have a lot of material that I can choose for this album and some ideas that i have for new songs so ... i hope creativity flows good next weeks.

Well I totally forgot this really haha. But I really don't have much to comment on. In June I was able to finish a large part of this project, at the beginning of my quarantine I had written a song called "sleep forever" which had many experimentations since I changed the instruments a lot of times and I feel that the final version is the best, although if it is a little sonically removed from the rest of the album, it combines very well with the theme and I feel that if it is heard in its entirety in the right order, it will give an interesting feeling to the person who listens to it. at the same time I was able to finish a song that I had since 2017 called "jail to the moon" which I feel was one of the most "radiofriendly" songs instrumentally but the voice that I added gives a general opening to the chaos that comes within of my universe. I did it twice because the first time I did not keep the demo and I almost cried haha but I managed to recover it and I perfected it. In the same way I re-wrote the lyrics of this song 3 times (I plan to add the missing parts in another song in the future, since they are lyrics that I really like). Regarding "WSS" I can say that if it recovered and I would say that it is one of my favorite songs on the album. I still don't know what to do with "crater song", I like it but I feel that it is less to keep it to myself. I write this since a few days ago I launched my first project "Truman" and I am happy about it. This other project will be totally different from what you will hear from Truman and I am being optimistic that I will be able to release it in the year 2021. I am brainstorming ideas for the cover art and this is why I have not released it yet. Meanwhile, enjoy Truman here at this link <3.

oh, hi y'all.
i know i was absent from here but i'm here.
i wonder if anyone read this haha but anyway, maybe in the future someone could read this and will know about all the making - of. i guess.
my last post was about my recent tracks and their explanation, i didn't tell you about a release of an instrumental EP called "Modern Dark" so... you can listen it on my soundcloud if you want.
i know i've been tell you about a release date of an album and i got to say that... i already have an album.
not the experimental one that i made since 2016, the album that i made since december of last year, i don't know but i feel more inspired for this album & right now, i have the songs recorded fully.
i'm waiting from the cover artwork (that could be look in December or January) and a voice from a guy who will feature in a track and... that's all haha. i need a break definely.
i re-recorded vox for a song and i recorded vox for a song that i made yesterday and... that's all too haha.
the album will have 13 tracks and will call "Truman", yes, you're the first ones that know it haha.
so... right now i'm reading about how i put my music on spotify, soundcloud, deezer, google play, etc... so. really, new album will be on!
a first single will release maybe november or realistic... in december and album will come out in january or february of next year !
so. if anyone would follow this, thank you and i hope you will stream & share "truman" haha.
(what happen with first experimental album well... i keep it, i have a vocal sessions from these and maybe next year i'll mix it... but one song of this record is in truman, i put this because fits very well with the sound & theme, also i have a lot of scrapped tracks of truman so... possibly i release an EP with these tracks, who knows)

butterfly pt IV: return
hi !
i apologize for my abstence here, i was so busy but i have some good news
i have 2 albums !!! a first album (that i had a lot of writing process right here) and another one that i made since december so ... i’ll release a lot of things soon_
also i start released more tracks (experimental tracks that i made in 1 or 2 hours) this month showing you some of my alter-egos so i’ll explain you here:
strangers: (really it hasn’t an alter-ego, maybe “antrán” alter-ego because it’s my first song lol)
mine may cry: mine is a princess who live in a cold area , she’s so intolerant & egocentric but she’s aware of enviromental destruction so she make a lot of stuff trying to protect nature, song represents her most saddest side
nameless part I: instrumental song/interlude (?) that represents the internal fights between two lovers (nameless part II is in album1)
mélodie d’amour: shows you “El Cuervo”, a man who can’t handle love and fear, he’s an awesome and handsome guy but had some emotional troubles, likes playing guitar, travel around worlds & being cute lol
i’ll release more tracks this month being more focused in characters that now you know and with another few one <3.

butterfly pt III
May 20th, 2018.
being sincere, i'm not involved as i want on the music, i'm very focus in college works but sometimes i make some vocal harmony and i record it on my phone.
writing this i'm listen some songs of the album, and every time that i listen this i fall in love, it's something eventually grows on me every time i listen it.
today i wrote a lyric for a song i made in december, and really my mind change a few since the last time i wrote something here, i will change a lyric for my favorite song, the reason is the actual lyric is very "sweet" and basically half of the album is about love and... meh, the lyric is so simple (i love the song's production, for this reason i make the lyric very simple, i want people could appreciate the sounds and distortions principally and the sound is very insane so the song need some strength voice / lyrics) and the politician situation in my country makes me to write some stuff so... yes! the album have a little bit of politician ambient (a few songs had it already, so it isn't change the album concept either way)
i have written a beautiful lyric in april and i decide this will be the last song of the album, i don't make the song production yet but it will be have afterglow/future forever vibes and i'm really excited, for this reason in holidays maybe i will focus on this song and i won't start vocals until the song's production are perfect but... i don't know really.
i am so happy that "strangers" have been heard by 10 unknown people and release date of some track of the album.... maybe october-november-december

hello anyone who are reading this!
it's february 4th of 2018 and i just want write some stuff about the music that i made
it's very special my connection with the music since i was child and now when i make music (very amateur but... it's something i made) this connection is very stronger and powerful, i thought that i can't be able to make something more than a few beats or arpeggios but right now when i listen the songs everyday i can't be feel proud of everything that i made since 2016.
when i start making some demos in 2016 i discovered audiotool "really the album is made in 90% in this platform" and i just try to make some sounds and i finally made like 12 or 13 songs but some songs had a lot of samples of another people or sounded very similar to others or i used a lot the setups that the platform can give you that have some instruments already, and being sincere i like start from scratch so i deleted a lot of songs, just saved 3 songs (2 of them are on the album) because sounds very well and express something very cool on me.
i made some samples in garageband that appear in some songs for the album, i couldn't make a propper album in garageband because my computer isn't a mac and doesn't have a lot of memory so, i recorded the samples since my uncle's mac, although i have a "song" (with vocals) that i made in garageband in january but this song i think is very very simple and maybe i will release it for i don't know, reaction or i don't know.
last weeks i started writing lyrics for the songs while i listen artists like dua lipa or chvrches and the only thing that i can say is: this album will be very sadness & dramatic, this album has a big inspiration in lyrics and is: my biggest lover / non-lover.
this person right now is a important part of my mind and he is the main protagonist of the album, so, i think the lyrics are loveless/political in both way
i will conclude this with a message of a person that i admire a lot, he isn't famous and he isn't my friend but i sent a question about my music in his "curiouscat" and he give me a good message that made me cry for joy the first time that i read it, it makes me feel very stronger and happy about this project so, if you something read this, thank you very much! i don't have any words for you right now, i finished writing a song so my inspiration are dry right now
fun fact: the protagonist of the album & the guy that i admire have the same name, very curious lol

Hi, I know I neglect this profile but i don't know lol, i just want write some thoughts.
This 2017 literally was one of my worst years especially of emotional issues, finally i fall in love and i hit with the floor too late, i lost a lot of friends and the shadows of the lost, the impotency and the fear are all the time around me, i don't know if someone read this and really i don't matter lol but if someone read this i can say that you must see the good things of the shit that you happen in the past or in the present, for example i needed being in love with someone for know about me, know about how i felt or how i reacted with all the situations, i needed lost "friends" because really these people was very toxic, anyway, you need to think very clear about the good things and if you have suicide thoughts, first you need to learn everything about the brain (neuroanatomy, neurofisiology and / or neuroscience) if you know all the things the brain can and could make, your suicide thoughts will be dissapear or hide.
Anyway, i take a look to my profile and i feel very surprised for all the things i have but i think the black and the red are the art colors so, it's very cool and i still love horror movie's gifs, i think although the horror / terror movies isn't the same the effects are very insane and in fact, very inspiring.
I start making some music stuff in april 2016 and during all these years i learn some things about production and instrumentation and i'm very excited because before christmas i finished all the production of the songs! yesterday i started making vocal demos and really making music right now is the most important thing right now because makes me feel very happy and proud of me.
i know no one will read this just i want write them and let it in worldwide that i will release something ( a song / album ) in 2018.
In my country there are still a couple of hours left for the new year, so to the person who reads this, wherever it may be, the year period where it is, I wish you a happy year <3.
