Advice?

So Cora has pretty bad diarrhea because her food got switched to a new brand way too quickly for various reasons.

So which is the better choice:

Going and getting some of her old food, or..

Feeding canned pumpkin and white rice for a few meals?

All my animals mean the world to me. From my betta, to the family dog. None of my animals will ever have to be sick. I'm lucky to have a great vet 10 minutes down the road who also specializes in exotic animals. He took great care of Jameson (my boyfriends one year old pitbull who now has to be on special kidney food after a kidney scare) and helped us out significantly with cost. After how great he was with Jameson, we decided to take Drogo, my 10-12 month old beardie for a check up. We got her from someone off Craigslist back in October. She was very underweight, kept in a 10 gallon tank and on sand. We wanted to make sure she was okay even though we had switched her to a 40 gal tank and made sure she had everything she needed. The doctor said she was perfectly healthy and made sure to answer any questions we had (and gave me a discount for being a returning customer). Now to our family dog, Lily! It's that time of year for her annual check up and I recommended my vet to my parents. He's been so great with my pets that I knew he'd be great with her. (She has a tail chasing problem, always has and I know he could be some help. The old vet didn't seem to care or even try to help) MY PARENTS LOVED HIM! My dad took her and said the vet even gave him a discount because he is my family! One thing I love about his vet, is that they always call and check up to make sure your animal is doing okay. My mom didn't go to Lily's vet appointment and the vet made a point to get on the phone and tell my mom everything he told my dad. Now for the point of this rant. Today I am taking our two little baby girls (rats) to the vet. They've been a bit sneezy since they've been home and it's worrying me. I know that this vet will do anything he can to help. I WILL DO ANYTHING I CAN TO HELP. My animals are my life and I will do anything I can to keep them healthy. I don't make all that much, but I know I'll always find a way to make things work. Sorry for the rant. I just had to spew about my awesome vet, anxiety about this vet trip and how much my animals mean to me.

Didn't get what I went for!

So the other day I decided to drive out of my way to a small reptile store about 40 mins away. I was really only going for bugs for the lizards (hornworms, dubias, ect..) After looking at everything in the store, I came across a tank with a couple baby dumbo rats. I fell in love. Now i have two beautiful dumbo rats (both female, one is technically my sisters) I'll post pictures of them in a couple days once they're settled! My zoo just got a little bit bigger :)

Reptiblr, please take the time to look at this-

One of my coworkers has Dermestid beetles (flesh eating beetles used in taxidermy), and someone brought him a snake because he wanted its skeleton…

The problem is that the snake was alive

This is a male coastal carpet python who is perfectly healthy, but is maybe 30 inches long at 3 years old. He has been consistently neglected and underfed for years by someone who bought him as a hatchling and quickly lost interest. 

I am not setting up a fundraiser of any kind, and I don’t need anything to take care of him for now. But, I am completely out of space at my house with six snakes of my own.

So please, if you live in Missouri and can provide a great loving home for this guy please message me

and even if you aren’t interested, please take the time to reblog because this little guy deserves so much better than the life he’s had.

Animals I plan on getting this year (I hope) Pacman frog Blue tongue skink Created gecko Possibly a cichlid tank? Im still doing lots of research on these, so advice would be great. Also if you'd like to recommend breeders that would be awesome too!
