Hi, i know this blog is unrelated but its the only place a few people might hear me and this is extremely important right now.

currently in the us, states have been pushing anti trans bills more and more. 5 days ago, my state (Idaho) signed a bill banning trans healthcare for minors. across the state, hundreds of trans kids will be hurt by this bill including myself. this news is horrifying but painfully unsurprising as other states continue to promote similar bills across the us and as anti-trans rhetoric spreads.

to be incredibly personal, the reality is that this bill is extremely dangerous to my mental and physical health and so many other kids across my state. i am being extremely serious when i say that having access to hormones and hormone blockers at a relatively young age is something that i am immensely grateful for and is something that legitimately saved my life. having to go off of these medications is going to negatively affect my life forever. please if you are reading this support healthcare for trans kids and spread awareness about this in the hopes that at the very least this will be prevented in other places. and for kids like me in idaho and other states: i am so sorry. i know it might feel like the world is against you and you are terrified. i know it might feel absolutely hopeless. all i can say is we are in this together, i love you, and that our lives are worth fighting for.

trans rights are human rights. please when these issues happen consider the actual human lives of the people this affects. it’s always “save the children” until they’re trans.
