Luka Crosszeria - The Betrayal Knows My Name

Okay, boy. The final volume is on its way to my house and on one hand, I hope it gets lost forever so I won’t have to read the end... I simply don’t want the series to come to an end yet, and not only because I think the ending will leave us with many unanswered questions (which I know for a fact). On the other, I can’t wait for it to arrive so I can read the conclusion.The Betrayal Knows My Name was one of my first animes and manga to read, and was the first manga I ever bought. Seeing the end nearing, I can’t help but feel sad that it’s over. So, in the time I have before the manga arrives, I decided to draw me some Luka ^^. Because, honestly, Luka deserves all the good in the world. At first when I started wanting to draw something, it was with the intention of testing my new markers. Well, that definitely didn’t happen XD. So this is made with fineliners (multiple, as they were empty by the time I was finished, haha), a pencil, a gell pen and several copic sketch markers. Now I’ll quietly return to re-reading the manga (again XD) and maybe making some hot chocolate with whipped cream.... I believe I deserve it for knowing one of the series dear to me is coming to an end. I’ll probably draw more characters in the future, although when and who, I don’t know. I think it’ll also depend on my depression after reading the conclusion, lol.

I might edit this thing later with an updated rant about the series, lol.

Inktober 2017

Soooo, I’ve made a few drawings during October this year! 20 in total, some better than others.... So I’ll just post them here, as usual ^^. I’ll post them in order of appearance!

Tyki Mikk, D.Gray-Man. Tyki is just so HNNNGGGH, you get me?

V, Mystic Messenger, because I was on his route~! I loved it!

Tiger, Outlander: Fantastic Princess. I really like how he turned out, to be honest ^^.

Lancelot, Outlander: Fantastic Princess. I really like a lot of the men from this game <3. Too bad I didn’t have any Phoenix CGs, then...

Jumin, Mystic Messenger. I failed with the skin colour, as apparently the black in the hair hadn’t dried quite enough, so it left streakes...

Kuroyuki, Nightshade. I wanted to draw so many of the people in Nightshade, but I couldn’t get around to it... So, simply Kuroyuki for now ^^.

Ichinose, Hadaka Shitsuji. I love how he turned out, although his hair isn’t as silver as it ought to be... Why did Tomoaki have to fuck him up?! He was so precious ;-;.

Yamazaki, Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan. I also wanted to draw more of Hakuouki, but couldn’t... I also hate the fact how he dies every. Single. Time. But I saw he had his own route, soooooo...

Baldr, Kamigami no Asobi. My very favourite from the series~!

Chrom, Fire Emblem: Awakening. Chrom was my very first husband from the Fire Emblem series, so he’s very special to me <3.

Lucina is precious to me for pretty much the same reason, as she was my first daughter~! Ah, she’s so serious and diligent...

Libra, Fire Emblem: Awakening. I messed up with the skin colour... My colours were way too dark against a blond haircolour... I’ve learned from it, though...

Gaius, Fire Emblem: Awakening. I messed up the eyes pretty badly... Too bad.

Selkie, Fire Emblem: Fates. Have I said I have a love for cute things? No? Because I have! I like Selkie soooooo much! She’s so cute! But quite an airhead as well....

Mimi and Hetaro, Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. SOOOO CUUUUTE~! Also, their hair appears to be brown, but it’s definitely more of an orange with the original version ^^’.

I guess this is supposed to be me...? It doesn’t look a lot like me regardless, haha.

Lilith, Fire Emblem: Fates. I got some new markers, especially skin tone markers, so I had to figure out how to use them well ^^’. Anyway, I absolutely LOVE Lilith so, sooo much! I wouldn’t have mind if she were the lesbian love interest...

Navi, The Legend of Zelda, although I haven’t played this particular game yet...

Orenchi no Furo Jijou always makes me soooo happy >///<. Mikuni is SOOOOO CUUUUTE! Also, as it was the last day of October, and therefore Halloween, I wanted to make a Halloween related drawing. And once more, somehow I fucked up the eyes again ;-;. Anyway, that was all for Inktober this year~! Hopefully next year will be as succesful as well ^^.

Whoah, I haven’t placed a post in a while! Anyway, let me catch up with the drawings I haven’t posted here... There are not too many of them, but there are still a few ^^. They’re not really in a particular order, I think...? All of them will be placed below the cut :D. But first, my most recent one :D.

Kazuaki Nanaki - Hatoful Boyfriend

So... This is the final boyfriend *goes off to sob in a corner*. It took me a bit over a year, but I have finished all of the birds! His face is a little bit off somehow (can’t really put my finger on it), but all in all, I enjoyed this ride! I will put the WIP and the links to my other birds below the cut!

I don’t really know if I had taken a picture of the sketch. I sincerely don’t know... So, this is the first picture I have.

Started off with the clothes. Never did that before. Like, I always draw the hair first. Don’t know why I didn’t. It just felt better somehow.

Ryouta Kawara - Hatoful Boyfriend

Here is my beautiful bird friend, Ryouta ^^ Ah, the second to last bird I’m drawing. So sad! Had some trouble with his mouth in the beginning, but it turned out fine in the end!. I really do love drawing mouths/lips XD. Anyway, a short WIP below the cut, as usual :3.

So, this picture and the next one are pretty funny... Because it goes from: "Oh, look, I just finished the hair (almost) and have to colour the rest.” To: “Look, I’m done!” (mostly due to the fact I had to work and wanted to finish the drawing, haha).

So, yeah, it’s pretty funny. I liked drawing him a lot, though! Anyway, the sketch for mister Nanaki is already done, so maybe I’ll draw him today? Probably not, though, but who knows...?

Cosplay -Girlycard-

So, y’know, I already got a Seras cosplay, so why not a Girlycard one, am I right...? As I’m going to Tsunacon in Rotterdam tomorrow (yikes, tomorrow already?!), I kind of finished this cosplay. Still have to do things differently and add or edit some things, but it’s getting there. Also not too satisfied with the new contact lenses (my other contacts broke ;-;). So, I got some pictures below of my work in progress, since I love them the most <3. Will maybe add new pictures that were made at the con. Maybe...

You guys don’t even want to know how much I love this one, haha. As you can see, I am only wearing one contact lens (the other one broke that day ;-;). And of course the outfit is still not there.. And the wig is not styled, either.

Only picking the few I actually really like, haha.

Also cat ears, because cat ears...

And now for the pictures where my outfit is actually together and the wig styled... (still the plastic/fake shine, and I took care of that (what with putting the wig in fabric softener for 5 days), so on the new photos it should look better... I hope...)

Also added a light-coloured lipstick, to bring out the vampire feeling more...

Yes, I took a lot of pictures of me swirling around, because I thought the photos had a nice effect, haha.

Haha, can you believe how weird it is for me to walk around with black eyebrows...? (even though you actually don’t see them -.-). They are actually pretty light, sometimes even going as far as being nearly invisible, which is funny sometimes.

Yajuu no Monogatari

So, my day has absolutely not been going well... Woke up an hour late, which made me late for my test (for which I will need to do a resit now, of course...), the fire alarm has gone off for several minutes (3 days in a row, now...) and I have another busy weekend ahead of me. So, only yesterday I got a track and trace code for a doujinshi I pre-ordered (Yajuu no Monogatari). Of course I immediately checked it out, and was pleased to note it was already in my country as I checked it. I also ordered something else for a cosplay of mine, for which I’ve been waiting for a while now. So initally I was confused as my doorbell rang. It could be a classmate of mine, someone ringing up the wrong number (it had happened before), or a package I ordered. But I made the choice to deliver a package of mine in the evening, so I was really confused! As I opened the door, it was indeed te mailman. And initially I had absolutely no idea what he was there for. But then I saw the packaging and could only come to one conclusion: my doujinshi had arrived!

Just look at how cute the packaging is! I like it so much ^^

But of course I also really liked what was inside of it ^^. Thank you @magemg for this amazing doujinshi :D. Now I feel like the proper KouAo trash I know I am ^^.

Cleopatra Cosplay(...?)

So, a pretty long while ago I received a pretty okay looking wig from a friend of mine. Since it’s a black boblined wig, I immediately thought of Cleopatra when wearing it. So now I’m more or less seriously considering cosplaying Cleopatra...?! Anyway, I made some fun pictures today and a while ago. Just look beneath the cut. Also, expect to see cat ears, lol.

Okay, wow, the pictures are a bit out of order, but whatevs.

So, this is me, wigless. Dat eyebrow game got me like wow, though. If you look at my Seras cosplay, you know how light my eyebrows naturally are... But for this, I coloured them with an eyepencil. Also, the amount of make-up is too damn high! Besides, I’m naturally pale, so even the lightest make-up is usually too dark for me, lol.

Do you understand when I said I immediately thought of Cleopatra with this wig...?

Haha, also, I’m studying Japanese right now! And with calligraphy lesson, I asked some natives how my name would be (might be) written in kanji. Also, this is the “wrong” version. I have one with the correct strroke order. However, that one is really dear to me, so I’m not hanging it on my door, in fear it might tear or whatever. So this version is a bit “meh”. Try guessing what my real name might be ;).

Spreading the UraBoku Love!

Okay, a few weeks ago I basically forced Yelect  to watch UraBoku (Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru) (with me). Since we live over 200 kilometres (120 miles, I think?) apart, I opted to watch his reactions via Skype. Since UraBoku is like one of the first anime I’ve seen, enjoyed, and bought the first manga from, this serie is pretty special for me. So, after practically forcing this on him, I’d like to give you his reactions to the characters and situations, because I thought they were funny and we need more UraBoku appreciation ^^.

So, I’d first like to talk about pretty much the first thing you see in the anime. As I don’t (really) like the female Yuki (haha), I was pretty much raging about her to Yelect, but fangirling over Luka. So, not much from Yelect, but enough from me XD.

So, the opening. He was pretty much laughing at me, since the female Yuki was always there. But he liked the opening, so that was good. He only muted the beginning, where he told Yuki that he would not betray him XD. Then I had to fill in the blanks. Just wait until my Japanese is as good as I hope it’s going to be at the end of this schoolyear.... Also, he constantly said that Luka did betray him. Quick jump to the ending: “oh noes! The rose petals stole away Luka and Yuki!” <- pretty much what he said. Also, he did not like the ending, which made me a sad PKlovesDW :(.

Let’s talk about these two honey boo boos, all right? So, this is the stalker squad. Tooko is stalker #1, Tskukumo is stalker #2. According to Yelect XD. And I can’t find it in me to disagree... Also, I pretty much started this serie off with saying everyone is precious. Except for the female Yuki... And most of the Duras, of course. Let’s continue on!

Of course Kanata-san is there a lot! So we made a lot of fun of Yuki for constantly saying Kanata-san, Kanata-san. Not much else to say about him at this point.

Ah, Takashiro. I don’t know why and how, but somehow Takashiro’s name became something of a gig, and we called him Takashiro~~~! Our pronounciation was pretty funny, I admit.

Yes, sit down and listen to this, because I was always dying whenever Yelect told me their (unoriginal) nicknames XD. So, besides the fact that Hotsuma is a tsundere, and we called him as such, Yelect also nicknamed him “hot summer”. Yes, very original indeed. And Shuusei was “Shuu say”. (Also, the last part, “sei”, looks and sounds a but like the Dutch “zei”, which means said. So, Yelect always said “Shuu zei”, since we’re Dutch and communicate as such XD). We had a lot of fun with that.

Also, this entire scene XD. We both thought the doctor was a weird pervert, but also a funny guy.

Well, since I pretty much told Yelect all about Tachibana being a cockblocker, we decided to just opt for the name cockblocker. (Yes, the picture is Luka cockblocking Tachibana, because Tachibana deserves it XD).

I don’t think Yelect had a lot to add to these characters...? Except maybe for the fact that Kuroto was tsundere #2 XD. Which Yelect didn’t believe at first, when I told him Kuroto was a tsundere. He thought him as more of a kuudere. But I was like nope, he really is a tsundere. And he believed me after a while XD.

Yelect was pretty quiet about Cadenza (and yes, the characters will be all over the place now). He pretty much only said he wasn’t as fabulous as Grell(e) (lol lol. For the people who don’t know, Grell(e) is from Black Butler). And a “WTF even are those eyebrows?!” comment XD.

This was actually pretty funny, as Yelect thought I sounded a lot like her whenever I was laughing in that stuck-up princess kind of way. Not in her angry form, though, like this picture above, but in her more calm, cutesy kind of Ashley form. So this episode was filled with a lot of “o ho ho ho~”s

This is so funny, you can’t even imagine XD. I think Sodom is cute in all his forms, and has a certain charm to it with each and every one. Yelect, however, thinks differently. He likes every form, except the human one. And it was so funny, hearing him rage against me XD. I was just dying with laughter every time Sodom appeared on screen in his human form and hearing the displeasure from Yelect every time he did.

And now for something I don’t have a picture of, but what is mentioned and drawn out in book 5, page 183. The ranking of Duras. U, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F, where U, SS, S and A are Opasts, B, C, D are Midvillains and E and F are Niedatrechy. So, Yelect was already doubling over with laughter, because why even Midvillain?! It didn’t make sense to him. But oh boy, was it about to get worse when he heard of “Opast”. Especially when Yelect heard Luka was an Opast too, and a special one at that. Now we tread into Dutch territory once more, so I’m sorry if you’re bored out of your skull. First things first. “Opa” means grandfather/granddad here is this country. So the joke’s pretty much about that. And it even isn’t that funny. So, Yelect calls Luka pretty much the “Opaste opa”. Which pretty much translates back to “the most granddad of granddads”. “ste” in Dutch can be best translated back as “the most”

Luka’s face here best shows my reaction to that.

Anyway, to continue on with Duras, or Opasts.... There was this part where Elegy butted in. So I told Yelect a bit about Elegy. And at one point I was like:  “Wait, can I even call Elegy a man...?” And Yelect was like “...” And I was like “....yup, he can change in either a boy or girl form. But it doesn’t show in the anime!”

Well, that ^ basically...

Let’s talk Reiga now, shall we...? We all know Reiga/Kanata is the childhood friend, almost brother, of Yuki. As Yelect catches on pretty quickly, and the reveal is not much of a reveal, he already knew Reiga was Kanata pretty early on. And the nickname for him is KanaReiga-san or KanaReiga-sama XD. So, as I knew in which episode the big reveal was going to be, I told Yelect to pause it at the end of the video or at the beginning of the next, as I had something to confess to him. As the reveal happened, Yelect acted mock-shocked and drawled about how much of a reveal it was, and that it was pretty obvious from early on. All the while I was wearing a bad pokerface. So, he paused the video at a certain time, and I confessed I didn’t know it was Kanata-san until the reveal happened, and that I even suspected Luka of being Reiga. So that was really awkward for me!

As for general things, he constantly made fun of the pointy chins XD. And he pointed out all the clichés. But all in all, it was pretty fun to watch this with him over Skype, with my crappy internet connection.

I’ll quickly ask him to read this through, point out some mistakes I made and/or add things I’ve forgotten...

You seem to be the expert, back in 2006 in the height of my fan fiction consumption I was reading a pic that was drarry creature!fic and was about Draco & Harry being mates and one they had mated they could see magic as colour. I remember it being a word document, not on a fan fiction website and have spent an evening being unable to find it. You wouldn't have heard of such a work?

Well, 2006 is 2 years before I started reading fanfiction XD. And calling me an expert is a bit much, since the asks I get pretty much always end up in failure! As I pretty much only read from either FanFiction, AO3 or FictionAlleys, I am unable to recall such a fic. Though this sounds like a really interesting one! Do you perhaps know where the Word document was placed or found, so you can retrace it...?

Shuu Iwamine - Hatoful Boyfriend

Of course I just had to finish Shuu’s drawing on Halloween... Because there’s no better day for it than this one. Also, it was completely unintentional XD. Anyway, I drew this while mostly listening to the opening of JoJo.

You go figure out why ;). (I will leave behind some hints because I’m in a giving mood today (or should I say procrastinating mood...)). Hatoful Boyfriend Drama CD (the last track is just pure gold I can listen to it all day and it won’t fail to pick me up when I’m down XD), and the other hint is: watch JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Compare some characters and you’ll get there~! Also, here are the summaries for the rest of the drama CDs. if you want~. Also, I made a lot of photos, so prepare yourself :3.

Drawing the shape of the face, the mouth, the nose, but not the eyes or eyebrows. It’s just the way I seem to do it... Eyes always, always come last in these drawings (except with sketching)...

And the line-art is done! Now the photos will calm down XD.

Hi! Im hoping you would be able to help find a drarry fic, where harry was injured as an auror, and he is unable to use his wand hand anymore, so he sends a letter to draco (who was a rly famous dueller), and draco goes to teach him, on his own conditions (something like once weekly?) and in the middle i think draco tells harry to try the other hand. draco goes to harry house during this time, and harry pays a lot of money for it! btw, Its okay if you dont know xD THANK YOU for reading this ;;
