Tbh I don’t think I’ve ever truly felt lonely and overwhelmed in a room full of people until today at the family Easter thing my brother wasn’t there for the first time and my cousins had their cousins (IM not related to them) there, they’re all like besties who grew up together and are all a similar age and I was just there, the youngest, and barely knew the other cousins

I know this isn’t Reddit (don’t have that) but am I the ahole for asking my mom if she wants her bday gift now in a “bad” way? I just kinda need to write this somewhere but tomorrow is my moms bday and my dad told me to ask her wether she wants her gift now or tomorrow cuz tomorrow she would get it pretty late so I said “do you want your gift now”. She thought that was rude and got mad. But I don’t think that’s half as bad as her saying (multiple times) she wouldn’t have been there for my 16th birthday (brothers move in day) if it wasn’t her first week teaching for a new school.
