BEHOLD THE ROHAN KISHIBE CUFF

Sitting at a cool 10 lines, 320 beads total, this took me about 2 weeks to make, but it turned out really great so I’m happy! All the tedium was worth it for one of my favorite fictional characters of all time!

Process and pictures below the cut!

Step 1: design process

I went through about 2 or 3 designs before deciding on one that I liked, here’s what I started out with:

This wasn’t meant to be a massive project originally but after the first design didn’t work out at all, I did an overhaul of the design. Through some more trial and error I ended up with this final design:

Step 2: creation

After I finalized the design I began the process creating each line individually, resulting in this as the flat unconnected product:

Step 4: tying

After that I tied every line individually before moving on to the final step:

Step 5: connecting

Then I began the long and arduous process of connecting everything together, I split it into two halves, connecting 2 sets of 5 lines individually before finally connecting the two halves together, resulting in the completed final product!
