Rengoku x reader

~start~

It’s been months since quarantine and your ‘self-cut’ bangs, as rengoku calls them, haven’t grown out yet. You aren’t mad about them but you want them to grow so you can style your hair properly.

“Ok! Here I go!!” *snap* your hair falls on the floor.

“AHAHAHA (y/n)!” Screams the yellow haired boy out of joy.

That was the only memory you had of you cutting your bangs. FaceTiming kyojuro and cutting them was a bad decision but it was so entertaining. You being you, you decide to get hair dye and ask kyojuro for help.

“(Y/n) I’m here sweetie” he calls out.

“KYOOOO!!!” You run into his arms.

“AHAHAH your so cute!” He says, falling on the floor with a bright smile.

“So..what are we doing today?”

“DYING MY HAIR!” You smile

“OKAY LETS START”

“Ok! So i want half bleached hair so you only have to bleach one half of my head.” You say sitting on rengoku’s lap in the middle of the bathroom.

One thing you loved about kyojuro other than his amazing looks and personality was his enthusiasm towards everything. He would encourage you to do the dumbest things ever like cutting your own bangs. It helps with your confidence a lot that’s why you never complained.

“Okay! I’m so excited”

-5 mins past-

“Kyo...why are you quite? Did you mess up?” You asked nervously, staring at your phone.

“(Y/n)! Don’t scare me like that! No...I did-didn’t mess up at all! In fact it looks good already!” He says with confidence.

“Kyo! If your lying I’m gonna eat all the sweet potatoes today!”

“(Y/n)!!!” He whines

You wash your hair and kyojuro helps you dry it. You look in the mirror shocked.

“Kyo that actually looks so good!” Impressed as you were, he still messed up some bits but they were very small.

“(Y/n) YOU LOOK LIKE THE CHILD WE NEVER HAD!” He smiles

“Kyo just because I have half bleached hair doesn’t mean our child will” you giggle

“Whatever! The food is ready by the way”

After eating, you cuddled until you fell asleep. If there is anything you loved more than your phone, it would be cuddling rengoku till you fall asleep.

Rengoku x reader

-start-

You didn’t have many friends in school since you are an introvert. You hated interacting with people, making you despise group projects!

“Alright class! Today I’m going to pair you up with a random person and your gonna make a project together” announced the teacher.

As she was paring up students, you put your hands together and hoped you wouldn’t be with an annoying person. “Please..please...please” you mumbled under your breathe. “(Y/n), your going to work with kyojuro!” You didn’t know what to think. Last time you got paired up with him, he pushed you to your limits and you got the highest grade in the whole year. He was a very respectful boy but way too passionate about everything. You were the type of person to give in bad quality work because of your laziness but he was the opposite of that. He worked hard in everything he did, which kind of impressed you.

“Hi (y/n)!” Smiled the yellow haired boy

“H-hey..” you stutter nervously. You were very awkward so you started your work immediately and so did he.

“(Y/n) did you cut your hair? You look different today. You’re extra ugly today!” You get picked on every now and then so you’re definitely used to this and you chose to ignore it. But rengoku didn’t like it all! You barly knew the boy but he was always kind towards you. “What did you just say!?” Says kyojuro as he approaches the boy with a smug look on his face. “N-nothing! Geez why are you so mad!?” The boy slowly walks away. “I’m sorry that this happened. Ignore them they are just jerks! I will kick their asses on day!” He says with a bright smile “oh, it’s ok. It happens all the time. I’m used to it!” You said smiling back “No! It’s not okay! Tell me if it happens again!” “S-sure..okay” you giggle nervously.

~Time skip~

It’s already lunch and your starving! “Finally! Alone at last!” You sigh. “(Y/n)!” You hear a very loud voice behind you. “Perfect. What now!? I just want to eat and read my manga!” You say to yourself. “(Y/n)! May I sit with you?” Pants the boy trying to catch his breathe in between words. “R-rengoku!? Um..ah..sure thing” you move your things aside. You start eating your food. You notice kyojuro staring at you. You chose to ignore it and continue reading your manga. It got very distracting and you said “um..kyojuro? Is there anything on my face?” “No! Your just very beautiful!” He smiles the biggest smile you have ever seen, hugging his knees. Your heart dropped! No one ever called you beautiful. You didn’t know what to say and looked away.

~time skip~ (next day)

It’s 8:39am

*buzz*

Rengoku

“Good morning, (Y/n)! 🥰”

You look at your phone in confusion. “Why is he texting me?” You think to yourself.

“If you haven’t finished your project, please finish it at home. It’s due tomorrow and I expect high quality work!” Declares the teacher. “(Y/n), we didn’t finish it, so meet me at the libary after school.” “Sure”

After hours of working you finally complete your work! You check your phone and it’s already past 9. “It’s too late for you to go home, wanna stay over?” Smiles the yellowed haired boy. “Are you sure it’s okay?” “Of course! Why wouldn’t it be?” “Okay! I’ll inform my parents”

“Want me to carry your bag?” Asked the boy. “No. I don’t wanna trouble you any further.” “It’s not trouble!” He grabs the bag.

“Doors are closing!”

You walk in the train and sit next to kyojuro. You feel really dizzy and tired. Your eyelids start to shut.

Rengoku’s POV:

As I was reading, (y/n) suddenly collapsed on my shoulder. My heart skipped a beat. She was so beautiful!

You wake up in a huge bed with the bathroom lights on. “Where the hell am I?” “Oh yea! Oh my god...I’m at rengoku’s house!” A masculine figure walks out the shower. It was slightly dark and you couldn’t see it clearly. You realised it was rengoku shirtless! “Oh! (Y/n), your awake! You hungry?” Asked the guy, wondering why you were blushing “My bad! Let me put a shirt on! I’m so sorry!” He says as he puts his shirt on. His face slowly turning red. “No, I’m not hungry” you yawn. You walk outside the room, onto the couch. You see him patting the place next to him, signalling for you to sit down. He plays a movie as your eyes shut, once again.

You wake up feeling warm, strong arms, hugging you tightly. “IM CUDDLING RENGOKU?” you mentally scream. You blush so hard thinking about it. Suddenly the boy moves. “(Y/n)” He moans out your name in his sleep. After a while of you staring at his peaceful face, his golden eyes opened, looking at you. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” He gets up. You loved being wrapped up in his strong arms and his scent. “Um..kyojuro..can we cuddle for longer” you nervously ask. “Of course!” His eyes sparking.

You went home with a big smile on your face. “When was the last time (y/n) was this happy!” Your dad giggles.

Rengoku x reader

-start-

You and rengoku met 5 months ago. Even though it’s a short period of time, you felt like he really saved you. His cheerful voice and enthusiasm made you the happiest! He’s a very passionate, tender, kind, considerate and thoughtful human being. His bright and beautiful smile made your day! No one has ever shown this much care and affection towards you, making him a very precious part of your life and you didn’t want to lose him whatsoever.

Growing up you were an outgoing and kind person, until you started getting bullied. This caused so many mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. People stopped interacting with you, making the situation worst. At first, your parents were very considerate, but overtime they got distant, making you feel very lonely and that’s when you met kyojuro.

It was a normal day. You and kyojuro were hanging out, until sanemi joined you. Sanemi loves flirting with you that it has become apart of your daily routine. He would flirt in a very aggressive manner, causing you to giggle under your breathe. Normally, kyojuro would choose to ignore the both of you and watch his sumo wrestling whilst eating sweet potatoes. But he seemed off today. The bright man stood up and walked towards you. You looked at him in confusion, as he suddenly puts his chin on your head, holding you in a very tight hug. You flinched and turned as bright as a tomato. Sanemi, of course noticed this saying, “I see you have fallen for (y/n), kyojuro” with a big smirk on his face. “Ah no sanemi-san! We are just friends!!” You started nervously laughing as the lie slipped out your mouth. Kyojuro looks at you with a sad smile and walked away. Your heart shattered after seeing him like this!

An hour later:

“WAIT! DOES HE ACTUALLY LIKE ME? NO WAY!” thoughts filled your mind as you laid your head on genya’s shoulder. “(Y/n) you seem off today did anything happen? If it’s my brother tell me! His actions are getting out of hand!” Says the black haired boy whilst playing with a rubix cube. “No..it’s not that..it’s me..eveything is my fault..” you say with a sad tone. You met genya about a month ago when you accompanied kyojuro to the butterfly estate and you two instantly got a long! He knows when your sad, happy and even when you have panic attacks. He looked at you with a sad smile “(y/n) talk to me” “So you obviously know how much kyojuro means to me and I think I hurt his feelings.” He nods, giving you a sign to continue. You explain the Situation further to the black haired boy. “I just- I love him so much and I wish I can say that to his face but I’m afraid of losing him.” You breakdown hysterically whilst holding on to the boy for dear life. “(Y/n) it’s ok! Just breathe with me!” “He loves you so much! Trust me! I see the way he looks at you! Him and senjuro are only genuinely happy when your around-“ genya gets interrupted “(y/n)...” you feel a tall masculine man standing behind you. You freeze in place, out of fear that he heard what you said, as you wipe your tears away. “Um sorry! I’m so sorry you had to see me like this!” You bow down while shouting. The black haired boy slowly and carefully leaves the two of you alone. “(Y/n) why are you crying!? Who hurt you!?” “Ah it’s nothing!” You said laughing. The yellowed hair boy pulls you into a tight and long hug. His scent caused your heart to skip a beat! He smelled so good and you just wanted to stay in his arms forever. Your eyelids start getting heavy, eventually closing.

You woke up on kyojuro’s chest. He pats ur head with his book and says “morning beautiful!” With a bright smile. You knew he heard what you said last night. “Kyojuro..I- about last night-“ “I love you more (y/n)” his bright smile causing you to tear up. “What did I do to deserve such a beautiful soul” you say whilst tears rolled down uncontrollably. “(Y/N) STOP CRYING I SAID I LOVE YOU!” He giggles. “Senjuro has been so worried about you. You were passed out in my arms! We gotta go say good morning” you blush at the yellow haired boy’s comment. “I LOOOOOOOOOOVE YOU!!” He says as he squishes your cheeks. “Ouch! That hurts!” You giggle.
