Reintroducing myself!

Hi everyone, I'm slightly-stitious! (formerly mathfrog-anu)

After roughly a year off tumblr (and boy, what a year it's been!) I've decided to reemerge from the basement of the EECS building at my uni.

Why the name change?

Quite simply, I am no longer studying math at Uni. Still doing compsci, but also on the pre-veterinary track now!

I'd love to be mutuals with you if you are any of the following:

a student

a girly (inclusive) in STEM

doing any kind of academic research

into fiber arts (knitting, crochet, tatting lace, etc)

desi/south asian

love animals

try and fail to make aesthetic studyblrs

actually succeed at making aesthetic studyblrs

a chill person

I would love it if you could reblog this post so I could meet more people! I'll probably post on a weekly-ish basis... but this may change :)

HELLO! Sorry to bother you, but I've been thinking of maybe a tech career. I'm very good at troubleshooting stuff (around computers). Any career or major you recommend?

sorry for the late response, and thanks for the ask!

if you're interested in how computers work i would try for an electrical engineering and computer science major or one of the two. my uni has a specific major for both of those as one, but i know a lot of places do it differently! You could use that degree to get a software engineering job or something in IT troubleshooting.

also if you're interested in tech in general, maybe check out mechanical engineering and see if you like it! that could lead to more robtics-esque tech tho.
