oikawa loves singing you to sleep. he doesn’t show off his singing voice often, but he knows the rattle of his deep voice puts you to sleep easily.

he sings my girl by the temptations most often.

bedtime stories? yes ma’am. he loves it when you try to stay up and listen to the whole story, but you inevitably fall asleep.

he’s always got a paci on him just in case you wake up in the middle of the night.

he’s EXTRA sweet when you have a bad dream.

“shhh, it’s okay sweetheart, dada’s got you.”

if you ever have trouble falling asleep, he will stay up with you until you doze off. 

warm milk in a bottle is his last resort when nothing else works. knocks you out like a light.

something else that helps is warming your blanket up in the dryer for a few seconds. feels like a big warm hug.

(he prefers hugging you himself, though.)

all in all, oikawa hates it when you can’t go to sleep, and he doesn’t like seeing you fussy, so he does everything he can to help you stay asleep.

Tanaka would try so hard to be a role model and an example to you. He'd try not to say bad words around you, he'd try to eat vegetables for every meal he ate around you and he'd try to do things that you may not want to do, but are good for you around you (like brushing your teeth and drinking water.)

If he's babysitting, he will try so hard but completely forget about what your caregiver said you could and could not have.

"What do you want for a snack, baby? A cupcake? Oh, we have plenty of those! What color do you want? Oh wait a minute, that's right. You can't have cupcakes until after lunch... Wait, nono! Don't cry, I'm sorry. Uh... Here, I'll give it to you but don't tell (mama/dada/cg) or else I'll be in big trouble."

He is the king of bribing, bargaining and making deals with you.

"Baby, if you eat your veggies, I'll give you five dollars! You gotta eat all of them though!

"What do you mean you don't want five dollars? Oh yeah, you're too little to understand money. Fine, fine, you know what... If you eat your veggies I will watch THREE hours of your favorite show with you, how bout that?"

"A TOY TOO?? You drive a hard bargain, little dude. Fine, you win. Three hours of cartoons and a toy, now eat, please."

He'd keep his promises in the snap of a finger so he wouldn't forget. To heck with washing the dishes, he promised his baby three hours of cartoons and he's gonna commit. Then he's gonna call your CG after that and ask...

"Hey uh... Can I keep y/n for a few hours tommorow? I promised I'd take them to the toy store if they ate their veggies. Awh, really? Thanks! Don't worry, I'll be careful with them!"

Would he get you a toy? No. He'd get you ALL the toys and things you asked for.

"Baby, you already have Marshall's fire truck. Why would you want another one? Ohhh, this one has sirens? Cool! Put it in the buggy, we'll think about it."

This man does not do punishments, he doesn't believe in timeout or writing lines, he believes in positive reinforcement.

If he did something you didn't like, he'd put a stop to it immediately.

"What's going on baby? Why are you crying? You don't like your reward chart? Why not, baby? It puts too much pressure on you and makes you feel bad when you mess up? Oh, baby I had no idea. Let's think of a better reward for you then, we can think of it together!"

Daichi would babysit you while he's busy.

He's very patient with you when you're being fussy/panicking/having a meltdown. He'd go away if you needed space, asked before he tried to hug you or comfort you with touch and didn't punish or get mad at you at all.

"Shh, you're okay, my sweet angel. You're a good boy and you were so strong for going through that, I'm very proud of you." "Do you want your favorite stuffy? I'll go get him/her/them!"

He'd also try to distract you from it too! "What color is your stuffy? What animal/character are they? Can you tell me about them?"

Would be okay with you calling him any caregiver name, feminine, masculine or gender neutral.

Kageyama would be in charge of both of you, and he'd do an excellent job at it.

Hinata would want to have a hand in helping Kageyama do anything that involved you! 'Ooh dada, I wanna help make his bottle!' 'I wanna help him clean up our toys!' 'I wanna teach him to go down the slide!'

If you accidentally got into a little mischief, Hinata would take the blame for you immediately. 'Dada, it's not his fault. I ate the last cookie! It was me! Don't be mad.'

Kageyama will affirm your gender all the time and make sure absolutely everyone knows your pronouns like the back of their hand. He'd give a glare to anybody that called you the wrong pronouns.

He likes giving you piggy back rides and carrying you! He likes holding your hand places too, but he loves holding you so much more.

Daichi I feel like would be one of those people who is strict with others, but had a soft spot for only you. If he sees his baby boy/girl/kiddo on the volleyball team an they're tired, he will get them their favorite juice and hold them while they take a break while everyone else had to practice.

Daichi's favorite gift to get you on any occasion is gifts that involve trips. He'd get you tickets to an amusement park, the zoo, any place his baby wanted to go.

He would be fabulous with any little, he'd be good with littles that have an older headspace, toddler or even baby regressors. He just wants to help you and make sure you're comfy.

He has duplicates of every single one of your comfort items and he will not tell you he does. You lost your favorite pacifier? Look at that, dada found it! (Even though it was actually a backup.)

On that note, if you ever did find out it was a backup, he would explain to you that, "It's okay sweetie, I know you didn't mean to loose your pacifier, things get broken and lost sometimes, but it's nothing you should be upset over."

If your favorite blankie or stuffy gets dirty, he will wash it and play with you to distract you while it's washing.

No matter what gender you are, this man will ALWAYS call you gender neutral pet names (Baby, Kiddo, Honey, Sugar, Bubblegum, Little one, Their royal cuteness, etc-)

He'd make sticker charts for things you were insecure about. If you have a hard time taking care of yourself, every time you shower or do something good for yourself, he'll give you a sticker. When you get enough stickers, he'll buy you a toy.

If someone even accidentally misgenders you, says something to hurt your feelings/make you uncomfy, they better run because Daichi will find who made his baby upset

When he's busy, he has Suga babysit you instead!

The young volleyball player cringed at his clumsiness as he heard your rustling coming from the other room.

“’Kawa?” you called as you jerked awake at the noise. You raised your head up to check and saw him standing there with bags in his hands.

“Hi sweetheart, I’m sorry I woke you,” He said softly as he set the bags down and gave you a warm hug. “I got you something for valentine’s day.”

The house filled with high-pitched giggles and warm, deep chuckles as you gushed over everything he got you. His heart was ready to burst as he watched you happy stim while opening everything. With you, he was as happy as he’d ever been.

He loves bringing you to games, but only if he’s sure you won’t get hurt. He lets you wear his jersey, and sometimes you get sad when he has to use it for a game, but as soon as it is washed, you never let it out of your sight.

Tooru is one of the best caregivers you could ask for, he always keeps you safe and comfortable, no matter what. He does everything he can to keep you smiling.

Although he may be egotistical, he will ALWAYS put his little and their needs first.

He would love playing with his baby (and no, I don't just mean volleyball!)

He'd buy his little absolutely everything he could afford! He'd see you look at something and ask, "do you want that, baby? I think I have enough money to spoil my little princess/prince/baby today."

If you had trouble sleeping, he'd hold you really closely in bed and rub your back until you felt safe enough to sleep. "It's okay, honey. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, you're safe with me."

He'd proudly introduce you to the team, he'd be so proud to be your boyfriend/caregiver.

On that note, if absolutely ANYONE (on the volleyball team or not) did anything mean to you for any reason, he would throw hands.

He'd keep you entertained while he had practice. "Honey, (preferred caregiver name) has to go to practice now. Here's a coloring book, some crayons, some stuffies and a juice box for you. If you need me, let me know baby. I love you."

Little! Bokuto x CG! Akaashi Headcannons!

Thank you to @little-owlet-prince for helping me with this HC post and giving me some ideas.

His headspace is around 3-6

Bokuto loves coloring, that's his favorite part of being little! Akaashi always buys more of them for him so he can always have variety.

I think personally it's very likely Bokuto has ADHD and maybe a learning disability, so he tells Akaashi this and researches it so that he could help him as best as possible (along with letting him do things like color when he's working so he can do something fun between working.)

Little Bokuto would LOVE stuffies! (Especially owl stuffies) and anytime he saw one he really liked, he'd go up to Akaashi and point to it. "Can I have dat one, pwease?"

Bokuto's favorite movie when he feels little would be Rio, I'm convinced if it. Whenever he and Akaashi watch a movie together, he always begs to watch Rio or Rio 2 and Akaashi (almost) always says yes.

Bokuto loves playing in the rain, he has little froggy boots and coat and goes jumping in puddles (with his boyfriend's supervision, of course.)

Akaashi and Bokuto both have a mutual agreement to keep his headspace a secret since he's Captain and Ace of the volleyball team and he wants the team to take him seriously. (Sadly, being little isn't normalized :/ )

Bokuto loves it when Akaashi reads to him or sings him a song. He loves hearing Akaashi's voice.

Bokuto always sits on Akaashi's lap while he's doing homework and Akaashi bounces his leg to entertain him during it.

Bokuto's headspace is arguably too old to be using a pacifier in his headspace, but that doesn't matter. He loves chewing on things and he has like ten pacifiers or more because he loves them! Akaashi always gets him a new one after he does good on homework, a test, or really any school assignment. Bokuto's favorite paci is a purple one with a volleyball he got from Akaashi after getting a C+ on a math test.

A little! Bokuto x CG! Akaashi fic

It was a quiet night, there wasn't much sound other than the soft crickets chirping in the distance as the sun set. Volleyball practice had been cancelled and Akaashi was working on his essay that was due tommorow.

Unlike some of the volleyball players, he took school very seriously and took honors classes purposely so that he could challenge himself, and although his boyfriend, Bokuto didn't have any interest in those things, he always knew Bokuto supported him and had his back.

While Akaashi having a lot of work wasn't unusual, neither was what was currently happening with Bokuto just one room down. He was spending the night with his boyfriend so that he could make sure he didn't overwork himself, but he was starting to fail at his job. Since volleyball practice was cancelled and he was with his boyfriend, he was fighting the urge to regress.

You see, Bokuto was always the type to be honest with Akaashi, they'd only been dating for a few days before he admitted that he was a regressor. The only reason he waited any time at all was because he was afraid Akaashi would think he was weird for being little.

Bokuto was wrong though, he'd never forget the way Akaashi smiled at him and said, "My baby owl, that's okay, I understand. I love you."

And now here he was, the perfect time and place to slip. He was alone, he had nothing to do, but Akaashi was busy doing something important, he didn't want to bother him with his problems if Akaashi was working.

Bokuto huffed and walked over to his bag, unzipping the front part to reveal a blue pacifier and a stuffed owl. He had regressed without Akaashi before they started dating. He could do it again, right?

After he retrieved his comfort items from his bookbag, he sat down on his bed and pulled up some old Care Bears cartoons on his phone, that was one of his favorite shows to watch while he was little. He slipped his paci into his mouth and hugged his owl close as he began getting absorbed in the cartoon.

Meanwhile, Akaashi was struggling to write down everything he was trying to say. He had written a good essay, but he was struggling to write this last half a page. He never understood why essay requirements always made it to be a certain length, couldn't he just turn in his three and a half pages and leave it at that?

After a few minutes of thinking things over, he decided that he should try to restructure the last page and a half to make it long enough to fit the requirement, even though that would take him a while, at least he wouldn't have to worry about it anymore afterwards. He went back to the first paragraph of the second page and started typing again.

Bokuto had finished two episodes of Care Bears and Akaashi hadn't said anything in that time, that was a whole hour! He wanted to check on his boyfriend, but at the same time he was little at the moment and thought it would do more harm than good. He frowned a bit as he pulled up another episode and began to watch.

After another hour, Akaashi was close to being done, all he had to do was write his conclusion paragraph and he'd be all done, that wouldn't take him any time at all! He began hurriedly, but carefully typing out the last paragraph.

Bokuto couldn't believe it, it had been two hours. He thought it was selfish and wrong; especially for the situation at hand, but he wanted Akaashi's attention. He started to cry softly, making little sniffling noises as he wiped his tears away. "Dada," he whispered, way too soft for anyone but himself to hear.

Almost immediately after Bokuto started crying, Akaashi had turned in his essay. He was pleased with how it turned out. However, he was worried that Bokuto hadn't said a word to him the entire time he was writing it. He walked into the room next to the one he just left and saw Bokuto, crying on the bed.

Akaashi instantly knew what was wrong, Bokuto's plushie and pacifier laying next to the bed told him what was going on before he even had the chance to ask.

"Bokuto," Akaashi cooed softly, opening up his arms for a hug. "Come here, my little owl."

Bokuto smiled through his tears as he heard his caregiver's voice. He smiled and immediately ran over to him, giving him a big hug. "Dada, I missed you."

Akaashi smiled, giving his little guy a hug back. "Why didn't you come get me, baby?"

"I didn't wanna bother you." Bokuto answered simply.

"Oh honey, we talked about this." Akaashi said, releasing from the hug and looking in Bokuto's eyes. "You are never a bother to me. If you need me for any reason, you come tell me, alright?"

"M'kay," Bokuto nodded. "I promise!"

"Alright, now that we've got that settled," Akaashi walked over to his bookshelf and grabbed a few different books. "It's getting pretty late, do you want dada to read to you?"

Bokuto gasped happily, jumping up and down. "Yes pwease!"

Akaashi chuckled a bit at Bokuto's eagerness and climbed into bed, leaving room for his boyfriend. "Come on baby, your owl and paci can come too."

Bokuto was practically gleaming with happiness as he got under the covers and snuggled up with his boyfriend. He listened to Akaashi read each story carefully, one by one.

After a few books, Akaashi kissed his baby and whispered a soft 'goodnight' to him before reaching for the lamp to turn it off, just before a small voice next to him asked,

"Dada, one more, please?"

Akaashi smiled warmly, holding Bokuto close. "Just one more, baby."

💕Karasuno as Caregivers!💕

Hinata

He's not your average caregiver, he'll still take care of you, but he's often on his little's level most of the time. If you wanna play, he's right there to play with you. If you do something cute or silly while little, he's doing it with you.

He will make a lot of mistakes, by that I mean he'd let you have as much candy as you want, not making you eat vegetables, things like that.

Although he's not a strict CG, he definitely will be strict on certain things. If you aren't taking care of yourself or are pushing yourself too far, he will make sure you get what you need. "Baby, please drink some water." "Honey, you have to eat dinner." "It's three in the morning little one, aren't you sleepy?"

Will make absolutely everything fun. He's asking you to drink water? Not without a bendy straw! He wants you to eat dinner? Not without making a game out of it! He wants you to go to sleep? Not without a story first, and your favorite stuffies, of course!

Kageyama

In front of people, he'd treat you like everyone else, but the SECOND you two were alone/somewhere nobody knew who you two were, he'd give you all kinds of affection and care.

If he had a game or had to go to training camp for a few days, he'd cut out some time for you to regress so he could take care of you before leaving so long.

However, if you got sick or hurt, he'd drop everything no matter what the price was. "Suga can set for me while I'm gone and Hinata can do fine on his own, I have to take care of y/n! They need me!"

And while he's there taking care of you, he will do everything for you, your only job is to get better and be smol. "No baby, let me get that for you." "You don't have to do that, baby." "I'll get you whatever you need, honey."

They say Hinata changed Kageyama as a person, well that's true, but his baby was too ❤️

Tsukishima

Doesn't seem like the caregiver type but would do an excellent job.

He loves to teach you new things and see how smart you are. "What kinda dinosaur is that, baby?" "That's right! You're so smart, y/n!"

At first, he'd be afraid people would judge him for being your caregiver, but then he put himself in your shoes. If you were brave enough to show the world who you were, then he could do the same!

He would help you with homework and make it fun! Every time you got a question right, he'd praise you. Every time you messed up he'd say, "that's okay baby, let's try again, okay?"

Yamaguchi

He does not care about showing his love for you in front of others, he'll wear it like a badge of honor.

He is always prepared for anything. Hungry? He's got a snack for you! Bored? He's got your favorite stuffies and coloring books on standby.

If all the guys were compared in who could cuddle the best, he wins. He will hold you really closely, play with your hair, rub circles on your back, the whole nine yards.

Asahi

He may look really tough and rugged on the outside, but he is a HUGE teddy bear when you get to know him.

He is a huge pushover, if he says no a million times, the puppy eyes will always win him over. He can't say no to his little pumpkin.

He would often take you on sentimental dates that would also be good with you being smol, he'd take you to toy stores and arcades, picnics, beach trips, wherever his little baby wanted to go.

And here we have another drop everything kinda guy, if you so much as even look like you need to regress or that you're stressed out, he will skip practice to help you out, no questions asked.

Nishinoya

He'd be similar to Hinata, but with a bit of a spin. He's still a very excited CG, but he's still mature when taking care of you for the most part.

He takes caring for you VERY seriously, if you're excited about something, he'll hype himself up for it too! If you're crying, he will do absolutely anything to turn those tears into giggles.

Noya wouldn't care if your favorite thing to do was watching paint dry, he'd make it one of his favorite things. You have a certain cartoon you like to watch when you're little? He'll learn everything about it and buy you all the toys from it. You're an artist? He'll watch you draw (if you're comfortable with that) and try to learn as much as he can, as well as say, "Your art looks beautiful, princess/prince/kiddo!"

He's a no pressure kinda caregiver, no rules other than taking care of yourself and that's about it. For example, if you can't sleep, he'll stay up with you and try to get you to go to sleep instead. "Baby, don't worry, I have trouble sleeping too sometimes, but that's okay! It happens to everyone!"

Sugawara

Oh my goodness, he's the softest caregiver in the world. He's protective, he's kind, he's brave and he'll always out his best foot forward for his baby.

He'd take you fun places as often as he could and would make personal time with you just as important as volleyball practice. He loves his relationship, he loves being your caregiver and he loves you.

Just like Tsuki, he'd be good with homework help, but he wouldn't make you do homework while you're feeling little. "Don't worry baby, I'll write you a note to get the deadline extended for you. Babies can't do chemistry, can they? No, but I know you'll do great when you feel big, and I'll be here to help you!"

His favorite activity to do with you while you're little is color, he loves seeing you focused on staying in the lines and you telling him what colors go where. Sure, he definitely loves getting the picture you colored for him in the end, but he loves seeing the process and bonding with you more.

Daichi

At first, Daichi had no idea how to be a caregiver and that was fairly obvious, but he loved you and was willing to be whatever you needed him to be. He now takes it as seriously as being Karasuno's Captain.

He loves seeing you do cute stuff and his heart melts whenever you call him whatever caregiver name you picked out for him.

His favorite place to take you would probably be the zoo or the aquarium, he'd probably never go those places by himself, but again, he loves to see you happy. He'd buy you ice cream and a stuffed animal while you were there and he'd ask you what some of the animals were too!

He's excellent at giving you surprises, every birthday or holiday thar comes up, he'll get you something for when you're big and little (like promise rings and a new bottle)

Coach Ukai

You think he'd do a bad job with this but no, he's probably one of the best. When he found out you were little, he stayed up all night doing research and took to being your caregiver really quickly.

He never smokes in front of you, rather you're regressed or not. It's not healthy to be around someone who smokes and of course, he doesn't want you to be effected because of his bad habit.

Asahi is the best at cuddles, but Ukai is the king of holding you. He doesn't care if he picks you up and holds you in front of the entire volleyball team, he loves you and he's proud of it.

He has a large soft spot for you, he'd have tea parties with you and your stuffies, he'd hold your hand in public, he'd buy you anything you wanted. You have Ukai wrapped around your finger and he doesn't regret a thing about it.
