I took a break from the sims 4 because the game is unplayable without mods, and mod maintenance is a pain in the ass with each new update.

Yes, I can turn off auto updates and stick to my version of mods but that is also not viable for content creation.

Exodus

After 13 years, I find myself returning to my dad's house in my hometown, bidding farewell to the city that initially drew me in out of necessity, only to keep me entangled throughout my twenties. My original plan was a swift departure from this country, yet life had other plans.

Here, I discovered love, faced numerous battles, tasted both bitter losses and sweet victories, all while inadvertently extending my stay. These were meant to be my most productive and energetic years, but they turned into a collection of regrets and disappointments.

Now, all I possess is my feline companion, some furniture I acquired along the way, and a plethora of less-than-ideal stories. It feels like I squandered the prime of my life. I'm left with a sense of loss, reminiscent of my 17-year-old self.

It's a full circle, a return to the state of being lost, but with a touch more wisdom this time around.

I wish maintaining my hair was as easy as in the sims. Wish I could select a haircut and color any day and keep it forever!

I've been using grey/white hair since summer. But it is way too hard to maintain. I'm afraid I'll go back to my natural dark brown hair.

PS: I also need an Insta-Lean potion. But I'm afraid my satisfaction points are in the negative.

I turned my sim-self into a real person using this website, and it looks nothing like me, lol. Oh dear, it's not terribly far off overall, but I only wish I looked this hot.

Here's my sim-hubby as a real person. First of all, where do I find someone like him? Do you know anyone who resembles him? Give him my number, and I'll happily give him the rest of my life.

Secondly, where is his beard? Goodness, I hate how this website removes facial hair as if it's not a distinctive feature at all.

I really miss the grocery shops and clothing stores from The Sims 2.

I downloaded a retail lot from the gallery and transformed it into a quaint village store, envisioning it as a place that offers groceries, gardening tools, and clothing.

I long for the return of TS2-style clothing and grocery stores. I also wish that the simple living lot challenge had more complexity than merely using 'any vegetable' or 'any fruit' in cooking recipes. My frustration with EAxis is immeasurable; I can't find words to express how strongly I feel about it.
