SS23 Orpheus Notebook: Personalization at its Best! [Simblreen 2023]

Greetings, fellow simmers!

Ever since the release of Discover University, I've been using "MyComputer UoG X19 Athena". While the Athena laptop has its charm with its assortment of stickers, they mainly revolved around universities and soccer—a hobby I don't personally share, neither do my sims. That's when inspiration struck, leading me to create something new and exciting: the SS23 Orpheus Notebook.

The SS23 Orpheus Notebook offers a world of customization with its three base colors (black, grey, and white) and a whopping 25 sets of unique stickers. In total, you'll have access to a stunning array of 78 swatches, allowing your sims to express their individuality through their customized computers. While crafting these swatches, I took great care to include a wide range of hobbies and interests, catering to every sim's preferences. Whether your sim is into music, cooking, plants, pets, science, or art, there's a sticker set that suits them. And for those who embrace the supernatural, fear not—I've ensured there are plenty of options for vampires, werewolves, ghosts, witches, and more.

But that's not all! The Orpheus Notebook comes with an ACTUAL SIMLISH KEYBOARD, adding an authentic touch to your sim's computing experience!

You can locate it under the Electronics / Computers category in build-buy OR simply head to the search box and use keywords like "sovereignsimmer," "laptop," or "notebook." It is very affordable; reliability is not the best but not the worst either. Despite its low-poly design, the textures are high-quality. When you adjust your graphic settings accordingly, you'll be able to appreciate all the intricate details.

While you are at it, would you consider making face tentacles like those of the draenei (world of warcraft) ? I have been searching for tentacley beards for so long but no luck so far :') have a wonderful day!

Face tentacles have been on my 'i should do this someday' list for a WHILE. i cant promise they'll be in this revamp version of the antennae pack, but I do definitely want to make tentacle beards one of these days. I'll be sure to look into those guys as inspiration when that time comes ♥

Hello there! Your latest work (i suppose) is amazing, I've been looking for a detailed male bottom mesh like that forever! I wanna thank you for your time and effort, and for your kindness to share it with us all! I read your TOU and you clearly state that you don't want your meshes to be included in recolors. I'm a dummy when it comes to S4 CC making, I don't know how to include-exclude meshes when I make recolors and I wanna make more boxers of that mesh. Can you help?

Hello! I’m glad you enjoyed those shorts (they were fun to make lol). If you want to make a recolor of the mesh, all you have to do is place the file in:Documents > Sims4Studio > Modsand the shorts will appear in Sims4Studio and you can make a recolor without including the mesh, which is completely okay with my TOU.

Hopefully this helps in your recoloring endeavors! :)

You remember my "Timeworn Leatherbound Journal"? Well, here comes an upgrade!

The original Parenthood mesh for private journal is too small and thin, it did not make justice to my opulent textures. So, I decided to make another version, with a larger book mesh I ripped from Realm of Magic :) I also updated the swatches with higher quality textures, you can see the demonstration in the gif below.

Hi there! Are you planning on merging all of your existing plants in a single post/package? I mean, when I go to your downloads tab and click on "decor", it doesn't help :( seems like i need to pick them all individually from all of your buildbuy CC sets and it is frustrating... Don't get me wrong, I love your CC but I can't keep them all in my game due to my system, so... It would be nice to have an option to download just the plants. *green thumbs up*

Hi! The Decor tag on my downloads page is for sets solely or predominantly made up of decor, rather then room sets that have complimentary decor included in them. That’s why you find rugs,curtains and Mid-century Eclectic which is predominantly clutter in that tag, as opposed to living room sets like Hamptons Hideaway that also have clutter in them. Think of those tags as the set theme, rather then what each set contains. If i did it that way you would never be able to filter stuff.

My downloads will never be in the same format as places like TSR where you can download stuff separately (or bulk download specific things) because the time and energy to set that up would be immense, not to mention the upkeep. That is a full time job and it’s why those sites have huge databases and people (or automated systems) to handle it. If I catered to every possible download option I would never get anything done so people will just have to live with the option that works best for me and the time I have available. I get the frustration, but the ease of use goes both ways and there is a point where I have to say “no, that is too much effort for the payoff,” and separating downloads (or creating multiple alternate downloads or bulk downloads) is past that point. Hopefully you understand, but it’s just not practical for me as an individual doing this for fun.
