PSA CAN’T BELIEVE I’M POSTING THIS. STOP AI.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first image is a prompt I posted on my prompt blog LAST YEAR.
The second image is from an application called c.ai. On MY post, a viewer commented, telling people that there’s a character with this very dialogue.
Mind you, NO ONE ASKED ME FOR PERMISSION. Though it wasn’t stolen word for word, this is very obviously taken from my prompt which I took the time to write and publish. This is MY writing, and though I share it publicly, that does not give anyone the right to make money off of it. I did NOT CONSENT TO MY PROMPT BEING USED IN AI.
Tumblr media
I honestly am not even sure what action to take but please please please bring attention to this and reblog. We need to end AI and the act of stealing artists’ work. I can’t believe this.

June of Doom 2024 Prompts!
Tumblr media
We've brought back some old favorites/ popular prompts from last year with a healthy dash of new!

Two rules this year!
As with last year, tag your stuff with appropriate warnings, plzkthnx.

Prompt #25
Hi I'm not dead but this Hero and Villain are
cw: major character death, fatal injuries, gore, blood
Hero coughed into the dirt as they bled out, trembling. Waiting patiently for death.
They knew it was too late for them, too much of them was damaged. Too much of them was missing. They couldn't feel most of the side they were laying on, and there was blood sprayed out all around them.
It hurt, but not as badly as they would've expected it to. Hero guessed this was because their feelings were fading as they slowly died there, in the middle of the ravaged battlefield.
There came a scuffling sound behind them, and Hero feebly turned their head in surprise. They thought they were the only one out here besides the bodies who had already been given up to death.
But no, there was Villain, dragging themself slowly toward Hero. Their bloodstained cape trailing behind them, still slightly smoking.
Hero smiled, laying back on their side, letting out a breath. Eyes closed as they waited for Villain to come to them.
A moment later Villain's ragged pants could be heard behind them, then Hero could feel a weight pressed beside them, then on top of them as Villain tried to climb over them. Finally the criminal collapsed on their side in front of Hero, gasping for air.
Hero opened their eyes and grinned at them, and Villain smiled back before breaking into a fit of bloody coughs. Hero wasn't sure if they had simply overexerted themself crawling to them or if their lungs had been damaged.
Once Villain had recovered they reached out toward Villain, pulling them close enough to rest their forehead against their former enemy's, to tangle one of their legs in Hero's. The crime-stopper put their good arm around Villain, taking in a deep breath.
They didn't say anything, they didn't need to. They were all that was left in the desolate field, they were all that was left and they had each other. They were holding each other, not wanting to face the end alone.
Their spilled blood mixed with each other's, gaping wounds pressed against one another. Sharing their pain, their breath, their tears. Both of them were crying, but neither knew why. They weren't scared, and strangely, nothing hurt too bad.
Maybe it was the goodbye.
Villain opened their eyes, reaching up to gently wipe away the tears streaking down Hero's face. It didn't help, all they did was leave a trail of blood in wake of their thumb, but it was the thought that counted. Hero grinned, swallowed, leaning their forehead further against Villain's.
Hero's breathing was the first to stop. Villain felt them go limp and just held them closer, burying their face in Hero's soft, dirt and soot-filled hair.
Oddly enough Villain didn't feel as scared as they thought they would. A certain kind of solemn peacefulness had spread over them once they'd been reunited with Hero, and knowing they were following Hero into the arms of death felt strangely comforting. Though they were the last one left, they wouldn't be alone.
At last, Villain let out once coughing breath before going still. Their arms still holding their Hero as tightly as they could.

Take Me to Church
My submission for @thepenultimateword's Song-Story Writing Challenge Extravaganza! I got @save-the-villainous-cat's submitted song, 'Take Me to Church' by Hozier!
Villain would always say that they were annoyed beyond all reason that they’d wound up in a forbidden romantic relationship. Not because they had to hide it- but because of course they would fall into the most overused trope of all time.
“My very life is the same annoying cliche story that’s been told throughout history,” they’d grumble. “All for loving you.”
Hero would barely pay attention to their forbidden partner’s complaining, only noticing that Villain had admitted to loving them. Their stern, grumpy, difficult to read, gorgeous, funny, wonderful Villain loved them.
So they let Villain complain, if only to hear those words again.
That was part of what made it worth it. Knowing Villain loved them, was in this for them, made it easy for Hero to face every horrible thing about a forbidden relationship. The running out of alibis for where they’d been when they’d really been seeing Villain. The juggling they needed for their schedule to find time to spend with their beloved in the first place. The secrets, the hiding, the lying, the inability to talk about their love life with their fellow heroes because if anyone found out about this they were both dead.
It was all so unfair, and being around anyone at the agency made it harder. With every passing day, it was harder and harder to go back to them.
There were always constant reminders there of just how wrong Hero’s relationship was with Villain. There was always talk of how nasty all villains were, how vile, how horrible. The rhetoric drilled into all of their minds that spilled easily from their throats without thinking. Without considering that it truly hurt Hero to hear it. Made them sad, made them angry. How dare they talk about Villian that way. Hero’s Villain wasn’t like that, if only they knew!
But again, Villain always made it worth it. It was worth it just to see them. Their smile, their movements, their stunning eyes, their gorgeous hair. It was worth it just to feel them- their touch, their hands surprisingly soft without their rough gloves, their warm skin, their arms around Hero. And their voice, the way they grumbled, the way they spoke softly when it was just the two of them alone, the way they laughed.
Hero couldn’t get enough of it. If they were going to be hated for liking a villain, for this worship of a false, fallen idol, then so be it. Nothing would be able to tear them away from their love.
It was the nights when Hero’s hurt, their anger, their guilt got the strongest. With or without Villain, it always crept up on them.
But Villain always made it better. They would’ve drowned in it if not for Villain. Lying next to them in the dark, awake long after they’d gone to sleep. Watching their lover’s relaxed face, their body rising and falling from their gentle breathing. The way the moon outside outlined their features in a gorgeous silver, a halo lit behind their head.
They were irresistible.
Hero could never stop themself from reaching out to touch them, ghosting their fingers down their skin, sometimes leaning in to kiss their forehead. Moving close enough to feel Villain’s exhales against their neck, their warm body pressed close to Hero’s. There was always the need to touch them, to feel them close, to know they were here and they were safe. They were loved.
Tonight, Villain stirred. Shifting partly onto their back, adjusting the blanket. Accidentally revealing more of their stunning figure Hero could gaze at for hours. “Hm?”
“You’re pretty,” Hero breathed into the room.
“Y’woke me up jus’ta tell me that?” Villain’s brows furrowed, though their eyes stayed closed. Their voice was thick with sleep, their words sliding together.
“I didn’t mean to wake you,” Hero moved close once more, tucking their face into Villain’s neck. “I’m sorry.”
“Y’should be,” despite their annoyed words, Villain’s hand came up to gently hold the side of Hero’s face. Hero turned their head, kissing their palm. “What time is it?”
“I’m not sure,” Hero murmured. “Late.”
“You’re still up?” “Couldn’t sleep.”
The hand on Hero’s face gently patted their cheek. “You okay?”
“Yes,” Hero wrapped their arms around them. “I don’t want tomorrow to come. I don’t want to go back to the heroes, where they’re just going to keep telling me how wrong it is that I want to stay here with you forever.”
Villain turned their head, kissing Hero’s forehead. “If this is so wrong,” Hero could feel their lips against their forehead as they spoke, “then why does it feel so right?”
“That’s what I want to tell them.” Hero hugged them tighter. “But they’ll never listen. They’ll never change. They’ll throw me out.”
“Hmm,” Villain’s hum was sympathetic, yet sleepy. Hero knew they were barely awake. They felt the criminal swallow, felt their head sag further against Hero’s, their soft breathing slow. Already back to sleep.
Hero lifted their head, kissing Villain’s forehead. “G’night, love.”
If only Hero could find it so easy. They pulled away, only to gaze at them once more. Admiring. Idolizing. Worshiping.
God, they were everything to Hero. Hero knew they would go back tomorrow, they would face the agency. All to be safe enough to go another day seeing Villain again, without the agency getting suspicious. It was better this way. The safest place to swim was right beneath the shark.
Closing their eyes, Hero took a deep breath, then opened them again, not wanting to look away from Villain for a moment. Memorizing their features in the darkness, the way the moonlight spilled over their face, their hair, their neck, their shoulders. Taking a mental snapshot, never wanting to let the image go.
They let themself truly sink into the feeling of being with Villain, holding them close and taking another deep breath. They could have this, just for now. Tomorrow would be hard and the days after would get worse, but right now it was alright.
With Villain, they were okay.
That assurance was enough to let them finally sleep.

*pathetically crawls out of a bog or something covered in muck* hi hello I'm an idiot and accidentally deleted a whole finished prompt -_- so here we go again rewriting it :) I'm so mad :)
Anyway an anon asked for something like a poly hero x supervillain x villain story where the villains won forever ago but kept Hero around as a captive, and eventually grew fond of them and they're together now. Which 👀 I have to say that's a fantastically interesting idea 👀
Prompt #24
A bishop was slid across the board. "Aaaaand checkmate!"
Hero groaned, falling forward until their forehead rested on the table. "Of course it is. Your third one today."
"Mm-hm." On the other side of the table, Superhero made a big show of knocking Hero's king off the board.
"This is truly my lowest point," Hero sighed. "Beaten every time we've played today."
"Every time we've played this week," Superhero reminded them with a smug smile. They were teasing, they knew Hero didn't really care if they won or not. "Want to go again?"
Hero let out another loud groan, and Superhero laughed.
They moved to pick up the pieces for another game, always wanting Hero to stay longer. They'd even let them win a few times if it meant they didn't have to go.
A ding echoed throughout the mostly empty room, and Hero immediately sat up, pulling out their phone. "Sorry, hold on one second."
The cheery playful mood in was quick to fade as Superhero watched Hero's face, Superhero's own grin slipping from their features as Hero's smile grew. The hero began typing, thumbs flying across the keyboard as they chuckled at something on the screen.
This happened every time.
Hero got distracted, forgot all about Superhero in a snap.
They wouldn't be playing another round.
"Sorry, just a second, Supervillain's asking about dinner plans and stuff."
"Hm." Superhero picked up Hero's king that they'd knocked off the board, gazing at it for a moment. Then they set it down and began picking up the rest of the pieces, putting them away rather than setting them up for another game. There was no point.
"I don't know if I can do another game," Hero said distractedly, still not looking up at them. They hadn't seen that Superhero was already putting it all away. "Villain just got done for today, they said they're coming to pick me up."
"Hm." It really didn't matter what Superhero said to that, they could've told Hero they were pregnant and that Hero was the other parent and Hero wouldn't have reacted. They'd almost entirely forgotten Superhero already.
Despite this, oddly enough, the first sign that things had changed had started when Hero started visiting Superhero more and more often. Superhero had been confused as to why they'd been allowed to, before things had finally clicked when Hero's prison outfit had disappeared in favor of more expensive clothes. It was finally when the electric manacles that Superhero wore on their wrists and ankles had disappeared from Hero's body that Superhero finally realized what was going on.
"Yeah, because things are getting settled in more they get to work less hours! Supervillain still has to work for the rest of the day, though."
"Shame." Superhero really didn't care.
Hero weren't a prisoner anymore. Somehow, Hero was free.
They'd never told Superhero this, but it'd been obvious months ago. By now, Superhero would've been delusional if they thought Hero was still meant to be in a cell like them.
As that shift happened they began to drift apart from Superhero, visiting them not quite as often and never actually focusing on them. They were there, but they didn't really see Superhero, never really heard them. Only paying attention when they were trying not to lose at chess, only ever talking about how great their partners were.
Hero was free, and they were comfortable. They weren't going to throw that all away to try and help out Superhero and the countless other heroes imprisoned in cells similar to theirs.
Superhero watched as Hero chuckled at something one of their partners had probably texted them, their fingers moving quickly to respond. Their smile sent a pang through Superhero's heart.
The first feeling was of the utter sadness of being left out. Even if they still came to visit them, Hero had an entire life outside of them, outside of the white walls and bright lights that were all Superhero had known for the last two years. They got to go home to their partners and a fancy dinner, while Superhero was stuck here, forgotten.
They weren't sure why Hero kept visiting them, even when they made it so obvious that they didn't care about them. They'd engage for a little bit, but then Superhero could actually watch the moment Hero stopped paying attention.
Part of them wondered if Hero wasn't really coming back for them, but rather just trying to cling onto something from their old life.
Superhero wasn't quite sure how they felt about that.
The second feeling was one of anger. Hero was just fine with walking out of here, leaving Superhero and all the other heroes behind and going home. They'd done nothing so far to try and help Superhero out of here, not wanting to disrupt their new life. They walked free, free of the manacles, free of guilt. And Superhero didn't understand how.
The third realization was that even though Hero was here, Superhero had lost them.
Somehow that feeling was worse than the first two.
There came a loud blaring horn that blasted throughout the room, Hero jumped and nearly dropped their phone. Superhero, who was used to the sound, raised an eyebrow at them.
"Sorry," they smiled apologetically. "Not used to that."
Which was only a further sign that Hero was no longer a prisoner.
The sound indicated the opening of the outer cell door, and sure enough, Superhero looked up to see the huge vault-like door sliding smoothly open.
Villain stepped inside, dark clothes buffeting out behind them, the heels of their shoes clicking loudly on the white tiled floor.
Hero jumped up. "Villain!" They exclaimed, rushing over to their partner. "I didn't know you were here already- and I didn't think you'd come all the way in here!"
"Yeah, well, I wanted to walk you out." Villain slid a hand around Hero's waist, kissing their cheek before looking around the cell. "Besides, I haven't been here in a while, I thought I'd check in on the security of the cells."
"It's working fine, like usual," Superhero grumbled.
They sat on the other side of a wall of laser bars, the bars had previously split in front of them to allow the table that they'd been using to play chess to fit between them. Now that the cell door had been open the bars had slid closed, and Superhero was more closed off from the two of them. Another sign that they weren't really a part of Hero's new life.
Villain glowered at them, but otherwise didn't respond. They made sure Superhero knew their attention was now entirely focused on Hero. "We should probably get back now, Supervillain volunteered for me to make dinner and I want to have it finished by the time we get home."
"Yes!" Hero pumped their fist. "Your cooking is always the best!"
Villain smiled, already pulling them out of the cell.
While it was obvious that the way Hero immediately forgot about them was genuine, Villain was purposefully trying their hardest to show to Superhero that they weren't important here.
Superhero wasn't standing for that. "See you later, Hero!"
Hero blinked, glancing back as if they were just remembering Superhero was still there. Perhaps they were. "Oh, yeah, see you!"
In that moment, Superhero had never been able to empathize more with a discarded used tissue.
There came another blaring horn as Villain opened the cell door again, and the next thing Superhero knew Hero was completely out of sight.
Superhero was alone now in the bright white empty room.
The sound of the door closing seemed to echo a thousand time.
Hero stared at the door for a long while, taking deep breaths. They were not going to cry over someone who wouldn't have even spared them a second thought.
Letting out one more sigh they stood, moving over to their small bed in the corner of the cell.
They knew it would only be a matter of time before Hero stopped visiting them completely, before Hero's partners managed to completely drag them away from Superhero.
And they knew that their feeling of being forgotten now would be nothing in comparison to what it would feel like when they were left behind for good.

Prompt #23
cw: blood
Hero was the first one awake, she always was.
Slipping through the huge, quiet, empty house, she couldn't help but feel like one of the undead herself. It was late in the year and cold, and the blanket she'd wrapped around herself trailed long behind her like a cloak.
The sun was just setting, the last violent dregs of red, orange, and yellow streaking through the sky. The huge elevated back patio was bathed in an orange light, Hero sat on one of the porch chairs to watch the light disappear from the sky like she always did.
She'd given up her diurnal schedule quite willingly, but sunsets were something she refused to let go of. It was harder now, with the sun going down earlier in the crisp autumn, but she always made sure to wake up in time.
The cold around her promised a frigid night, and Hero pulled her blanket tighter around herself and shivered. Her breath wasn't showing in the air just yet, but she knew by the time the sun went down, it would be.
She was just getting settled when there came a creak from behind her, a swish of the large sliding glass door that led out onto the patio opening. Hero twisted around to see who it was, no one in the house would be awake at this hour.
Villain squinted in the dying light, ducking down so she was beneath the line of direct sunlight that stretched horizontally across the house. She closed the sliding door behind her, almost hissing in discomfort.
"Oh, I didn't think you'd get up!" Hero exclaimed.
Villain moved toward her, being sure to keep out of the direct sunlight that beamed over her head. "Woke up too early," she grumbled, coming to sit next to Hero. "It's too bright."
Hero draped the blanket around her partner, Villain was quick to cuddle in next to her, still wanting to keep out of the light. She leaned most of herself on Hero, pulling the blanket around her and shivering into the crook of Hero's neck.
"You could've waited until the sun was down," Hero pointed out, kissing her forehead.
Villain didn't answer immediately, only cuddling closer, cold fingers finding Hero's warm ones and gripping them tightly. She didn't look directly at the sunset, but rather watched the red clouds drift by overhead.
"Wanted to spend some time with you before it got too dark," Villain mumbled, turning to bury most of her face in Hero's chest. "'M hungry, I want to go out tonight."
"You can't," Hero reminded her. "Superhero's been organizing those hunts, they'll catch you."
Villain growled, low and annoyed. "They won't catch me."
"They will," Hero stressed. "And I don't think I could get you out this time."
Villain growled again. "How long until the hunts stop?"
"They're planned to last until next week."
This growl was more a snarl, and Villain flopped dejectedly down into Hero's lap. Hero chuckled, petting through her partner's hair.
"Don't laugh at me."
"Sorry."
Hero looked back up at the dying light, her hand still absently running through Villain's hair. "Don't think I can last that long," it was always easy to read when Villain was hungry, she got grumpier, spoke less and in less complete sentences. Villain couldn't have lasted the week, and Hero couldn't have lasted the week of her behaving this way either. "Might start biting things."
"Like what?" Hero asked teasingly, leaning back. "Me?"
Villain turned her head to look up at her. "You're serious?"
Hero hesitated. Villain had only fed off of her once before, and then had overreacted afterwards when Hero had felt woozy. She said she'd never bite her again- but clearly that had now been forgotten in light of her current hunger.
"Hm... maybe." Hero scratched Villain's head the way she liked, and Villain leaned into it, smiling faintly. Her brilliantly white fangs glistened in the glow of the sunset. "I trust you."
Villain sat up. "Please, yes, only enough to get me to next week, I promise."
"I trust you," Hero said again, holding Villain's chin so she could lean in and kiss her gently.
"Good." Villain's red eyes were light brightly warm light from the sun. She leaned in to kiss Hero again, pressing against her lips, before moving to the corner of her mouth, then her jaw, then just below her ear.
Hero's breath hitched as a blush moved across her face, she was fully aware of exactly how this would feel. Warmth bloomed in her stomach, her hot breath now becoming visible in the air around her.
As Villain continued her kisses turned more to nipping, sharp fangs brushing against Hero's skin. Not biting, not yet- but enough to promise it.
Hero's hand found Villain's once more, and she gripped it tightly.
"Nervous?" Villain murmured against her shoulder.
"It's- it's not going to hurt, is it?" She couldn't remember if it had last time.
"Only for a second," Villain promised. She nipped harder at Hero's skin, and the crime stopper gasped. "Only for a second."
There came the swish of the sliding glass door from behind them, and the two of them both sat up, twisting around. Hero's heart was pounding as if she'd just been caught doing something forbidden- and perhaps she was. Her jacket had been pulled down to reveal her shoulder, the teeth marks left there by Villain outlined neatly in the sun behind it.
But it was just Supervillain, standing in the doorway and squinting at them. The sun had gone down enough that she didn't have to duck to be out of its light. "What's going on?"
They didn't answer.
Supervillain stepped closer. "Villain- I thought you said you wouldn't bite her again!"
Supervillain herself had flat out refused to ever bite Hero, not wanting to run the risk of taking too much. "Besides, I thought we were going out tonight."
"Superhero's organizing vampire hunts, they're going until next week." Hero explained quickly, defending Villain. "Villain was just going to have enough to make it until then."
"I'm sure she could make it without feeding off of you." Supervillain came to stand behind the cushioned outdoor couch the two were sitting on, leaning down to kiss Hero's forehead.
"I suggested it," Hero told her. "I don't mind."
"You're sure?"
"I trust her."
"I don't think I could make it," Villain piped up. "If you wanted my input."
"Oh hush." Supervillain kissed her forehead as well. "It's been even longer since I've fed and I'm doing just fine."
"You're stronger than me." Villain leaned forward, resting her forehead against Hero's shoulder. "Now can we continue?"
"Oh by all means," Supervillain walked around to the front of the couch, flicking her hands dismissively as she sat down on Hero's other side. "Just act like I'm not here."
"You could... um, feed off of me too." Hero had never much liked that phrasing.
"You want both of us?" Villain sat up.
Hero blushed. "Well, a-as long as you know where to stop I don't see the issue. Y'know, just enough to help both of you until the hunts stop."
Supervillain thought. "If we were careful... I don't know, Hero. You'd trust us that much?"
"Of course," Hero moved to adjust the collar of her jacket so more of her neck was exposed on either side.
"Let me help," Supervillain's voice was suddenly much lower, more sultry. Her hand landed at Hero's throat, fingers toying with the zipper for a moment before pulling it down.
On Hero's other side Villain went right back to kissing at her jaw, and Supervillain pulled Hero's face to hers to kiss her lips as she adjusted Hero's jacket.
Hero sighed against Supervillain's lips, and she felt the criminal smile. Opening her eyes, she was met with Supervillain's half-lidded gaze, red eyes seeming to glow in the darkening red night.
Jacket pulled most of the way down her shoulders, Hero's neck was perfectly exposed to both of her vampire partners. Villain's teeth gently pinched her neck, but she didn't bite yet. Supervillain's mouth trailed down Hero's jaw, slowly moving to the place between Hero's neck and shoulder.
Villain bit first.
Sinking her teeth unexpectedly into Hero's neck the crime stopper gasped at the pain- which faded almost as soon and as suddenly as it'd come. Hero's gasp was released as a groan, heat coursing through her as Villain properly attached herself to her neck.
Supervillain was rushing back to Hero's lips almost before the groan left her, kissing her and running her thumb over her cheek. "Sshhh-shh, it'll fade in a second."
That's when Villain started to suck, and Hero's head would've fallen back if Supervillain wasn't holding it up. Hero whined, eyes drifting shut, and she heard Supervillain chuckle.
"You're so pretty when you blush," Supervillain murmured. As much as she wanted to focus on her words it was difficult to do so when Villain was licking and sucking at her neck. "All that blood rushing through your face- I could watch you for hours."
Supervillain let go of her face and Hero's head fell back to rest on the couch cushions. Hero could feel her licking her neck for a moment- before she bit down too.
There came the flash of pain- before that faded and Supervillain was sucking away. Hero moaned, all she could do was gasp for air as the heat spread throughout her.
Villain's hand trailed beneath her jacket, resting just over her heart, feeling the pounding organ. Hero shivered at her cold touch, then whined again as Villain's sharp nails pricked her skin. It was as if she wanted to claw her heart out, to feel the thing that pushed the delicious blood all throughout her body.
A drop of blood managed to escape Supervillain, running down Hero's collarbone and nearly dripping onto her jacket. Supervillain was quick to follow it, licking a strip back up to her neck before biting down again.
Hero moaned once more. "Supervilla-ain-"
At the same time she could feel Villain getting more ravenous, shifting to bite harder down on Hero's neck. Her nails began gently petting Hero's chest, and Hero shivered again.
This felt amazing. Hero was sure it was something in the vampire's bite that made it this pleasurable, and she most definitely wasn't complaining. Their biting, their sucking, their touching- she didn't want it to end.
Hero wanted to give it all to them, wanted them to bleed her dry until they had everything they needed. She would do anything for them, beg them to just use her. She was theirs to do with what they pleased, and that was everything she could ask for.
The two vampires pulled away suddenly and simultaneously, they could feel just how much they were draining Hero and knew when to stop. They left Hero still gasping and internally begging, head fallen back on the couch and her neck and shoulders a mess of blood.
"You're delectable," Villain breathed. Hero smiled faintly. Her earlier lust for them was already fading, she was suddenly much more grateful that they hadn't taken all of her blood rather than pleading for them to take more.
Supervillain lifted her head, Hero's eyes opened and she nearly groaned again. Supervillain's face was a mess- her chin and once dazzling teeth now coated in Hero's blood.
Supervillain kissed her- and Hero had to admit there was something enticing about tasting her own blood in Supervillain's mouth. Villain, never one to be left out, began leaving bloody kisses along Hero's neck.
At last, Supervillain drew back. "Thank you, dearest."
"Yes," Villain pressed a quick kiss against Hero's lips. "Thank you."
"N-no problem." Hero was still trying to catch her breath, still trying to calm down. "We- we could do that more often if you guys need."
Supervillain smiled, and Hero flushed once more at the sight of her bloody teeth. "We'll see. Now let's get you cleaned up."

I just found your blog and I LOVE your writing! Can I request a Hero that gets kidnapped by a yandere Villain???
Teeheee a classic :3 thank you!!!!
Prompt #22
Hero had to try their hardest not to cry as they were the one who had to pay for dinner. Taking the card back from the waiter and picking up their boxed-up leftovers they stood, tucking their chair back beneath the table. Trying to keep their eyes off the chair opposite them, the one that Superhero hadn't even bothered to push in.
Should they push it back in? If they didn't, the restaurant employees would have to.
Sighing, they walked over and pushed Superhero's empty seat back beneath the table.
Hero managed to keep in their tears as they walked through the restaurant, but once they reached the chilly night air, they couldn't cram their sobs down any longer. They let their tears run down their face to drip into their scarf as they pulled out their phone to arrange for someone to come pick them up.
Hero and Superhero had only been dating for a few months, but breakups always hurt. Especially ones that had come out of nowhere. Superhero had been gentle with them, saying they could still be friends and they would be happy to see them at work on Monday- but they'd still left as soon as they were done, leaving Hero halfway through their spaghetti and to pay for both of their meals.
The crime-stopper hadn't had the appetite to finish their dinner, and had only waited until they were sure Superhero was gone before boxing it up and leaving.
Out here in the cold, alone, Hero felt oddly weightless. Detached. Drifting into space.
"Alone on a Friday night? God, you're pathetic."
Hero jumped, looking up. "W-what?"
Someone slipped from the shadows next to the building, cast by the bright streetlights from above. It took Hero a moment to recognize them, but once they did, they were quickly wiping away their tears and hoping the newcomer hadn't noticed. "Villain! What are you doing here?"
The villain grinned, showing startlingly white teeth that almost seemed to glow in the dark night. Their smile looked stretched, forced. "Got stood up."
"Oh," Hero sighed. "Mine at least actually showed up."
"And yet you're alone?"
"And yet I'm alone." They looked back down at their phone. "Superhero was my ride, too."
A hand on their arm, Hero jumped. They hadn't heard Villain get that close.
The criminal's voice was quiet, dangerously smooth. "I've got a car, I can take you home."
Hero offered them a hesitant smile. "I-I'll be alright."
"Oh, come on, Hero! We're both off duty, and you know me. You don't even have to give me your exact address if you don't want to, I'll drop you wherever you need." They pressed closer, breath pluming in the cold night and their voice a purr. "You should really get out of this cold."
Hero sighed. They were miserable, they didn't want to think, to have to take care of themself. They just wanted to get home as soon as possible so they could cry. "Alright."
They let Villain lead them over to their shiny dark car, parked beneath one of the street lamps. Moths and mosquitoes whizzed in front of the light, casting strange moving shadows down on the road. They sat in the passenger's seat, and Villain offered them the GPS as soon as they were settled. "Put your address in there," they prompted.
Hero chose a street a few blocks from theirs, not wanting to let their enemy know exactly where they lived. Villain accepted the GPS back without a word, turning the car on and pulling smoothly out of the parking lot.
"So," Villain started as they turned onto the main highway that ran throughout the city. "How's your week been?"
"Fine," Hero sighed, leaning against the window. "Until today."
"What happened?" The criminal glanced at them. "If you're alright with saying."
Hero gave a brief overview of their relationship with Superhero and of their date tonight, and Villain frowned sympathetically. "I'm sorry. They don't know what they're losing."
Hero smiled faintly, wiping at their freshly wet eyes. "Thanks. What about you?"
"There's tissues in the glove compartment if you need any. Mine at least was a first date, this would've been my first time meeting them in person." Villain shrugged, then cast a sly glance at them. "What are the odds we both ended up ditched by our dates on the same night at the same place?"
Hero had already blown their nose, they were using the tissue to wipe their eyes again when they hesitated. What were the odds of that? "You weren't following me, were you?" It was only half a joke.
"Hm? Oh, no. I've got too many things to do to be following little heroes around." Their tone was teasing. "Don't flatter yourself."
Nerves slightly quelled, Hero leaned back in their seat. "Well, at least I can have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow or something."
Street lamps whizzed by overhead, casting beams of light in the car that sped by quickly. The scenery outside was a blur to Hero, they were too lost in their surprise and sadness to register much of it. Villain seemed to know where they were going though, so they didn't bother themself with it. The criminal hadn't replied to their point, allowing a lull in the conversation to give Hero a moment to zone out. Their earlier odd weightlessness having time to return.
It took them a moment to come back to themself. "Oh, thanks for the ride."
"Of course," Villain smiled, eyes still on the dark road. "It'd be against my morals not to help you out."
It was true, despite their ruthless reputation, Villain had always been quite nice to the hero. Though the most they'd ever interacted before this was once when Hero had been on an assignment to destroy a weapon Villain had made, the criminal had seemed quite understanding about the destruction and had even slipped Hero some bandages for the cut they'd accidentally given them. It was part of why Hero had accepted help from their nemesis, this amount of generosity wasn't unusual from them. They were oddly trustworthy in that regard.
That being said, the rumors circulating about Villain went entirely against that. According to the whispers, they were a terribly malicious, cruel, and downright hurtful. They mistreated their henchmen. They'd killed their last assigned hero. They didn't care about the civilian lives their schemes cost, in fact, they went out of their way to cause them.
But surely, seeing Villain now, those had to be false. Or possibly exaggerations, spread by Villain themself to keep other villain's with messing with them. That wasn't unheard of, in fact, Hero could think of several past villains who had done the same thing.
"So, what will you do without Superhero?" Villain picked up the conversation. "Is it too soon to ask if you will want to start dating again?"
"Why, you asking me out?" Hero joked. Villain's kindness warmed their sadness, already making them feel a little better. "No, not really. I don't want to be single, but I don't want to go through the whole process of meeting someone new."
"I hear that," Villain sighed. "You could always try sparking something with someone you already know."
Hero shook their head. "I feel like all my friends are just that. Friends. And there's not many people outside of that I know very well."
"What about enemies?" Villain teased.
The crime-stopper laughed, going along with the joke. "Oh sure, let me just call up the list of villains I'm supposed to bring in by next week."
"Am I on that list?"
Knowing it was a joke Hero laughed again, shaking their head and sitting back in their chair. Villain really did know how to cheer them up, they were glad they'd gone with them tonight. "Don't know, I'll have to look through it."
"Write mine at the bottom if I'm not there, why don't you?"
Hero snorted, their laughter subsiding as they leaned against the window. "Yeah, well, it's probably too soon anyway. I liked Superhero, I don't know if I can get used to someone else so soon."
"Hm." Villain looked back at the road, letting out a breath.
Hero sat up, tapping the window. "Oh, hey, I think you missed the turn, my place is that way?" Maybe they were taking a different route?
"We're not going back to your place."
"W-what?" Hero blinked.
Villain's gaze was hard set as they glared out the windshield, their expression suddenly much more serious than Hero had seen it all night. "We're not going back to your place." They repeated.
Hero was beginning to panic, their earlier contentedness slipping away like the rushing objects outside. "W-why?"
"Because if no one out there can treat you right, then they don't get to have you."

June of Doom Day #11 (Pt. 2)
(Part 1)
"Alright, so who's the good cop and who's the bad cop here?" Villain asked, leaning forward in their chair. "Of course, all cops are bad, but speaking in references here-"
"Enough," Superhero growled. "You're the one being interrogated, not the other way around."
Supervillain leaned over to stage-whisper in Villain's ear. "They're the bad cop."
"Enough!" Superhero shouted as both of the villains burst out laughing. "You will either cooperate or face worse consequences!"
"There's two bad cops?" Villain leaned back in their seat, lifting their untied feet from the ground to fold their legs up underneath them nonchalantly. "I don't know if that's how this is supposed to work-"
"We'll separate you two," Hero stood on the other side of Superhero, not intervening until now. This kind of argument had been going on for ten minutes already.
They didn't like interrogations, all the villains acted like this and it only ever served to make the heroes more frustrated. Despite having been kidnapped only earlier that day, Hero was already bored and annoyed.
"Oh go ahead and try," Supervillain kicked their feet up on the table between them and the heroes. "See what happens."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Superhero's eyes narrowed.
Villain snickered. "You'll see."
Fed up, Superhero slammed their fist on the table, making the whole thing shake. "Will both of you stop it?! We could've been done already if you'd just cooperate! We need information on where you got that car-"
"The car?" Villain asked. "What's that got to do with anything?"
It'd been ten minutes, and they'd finally gotten to hearing the actual interrogation questions. Hero held in a groan as they dropped their head in their hands.
"The model is one that's always been specifically used by a secret vigilante group throughout the state." Superhero explained. "They've been on the... morally darker side of things lately, and we need to find out what their alignment is. So we need information from you two about where you got it so we can track them down."
"The car." Villain stared at them. "You care about the car."
"Yes-"
"Not that we kidnapped Hero?"
"Well-"
"Or led you on a crazy high-speed chase throughout the whole city?" Supervillain chimed in.
"No-"
"You don't care about our scheme?" Villain's tone seemed rather hurt, they were very obviously pouting. "Just about the car we used?"
Supervillain mirrored their partner's pout.
Superhero dragged a hand down their face. "In the grand scheme of things your little escapades..." they trailed off, noticing how hurt the villains looked. "...Don't... matter." They exhaled the last word, as if it pained them to say it. "Sorry."
"It's okay," Villain sniffed, leaning sideways in their chair to rest their head on Supervillain's shoulder. Supervillain rested their head on top of their partner's. "We know our plans aren't always the most attention-grabbing."
"Or detrimental to society." Supervillain added.
"So where did you get the car?" Superhero cut in before one of them could start crying. They certainly looked upset enough to do so.
Villain sat back up and Supervillain shrugged. "Outside of a grocery store in the south edge of town." They lifted their feet from the table, putting them back on the ground. "It's a smaller area there, less crime, bigger false sense of security. Someone left the engine on when they ran in, we broke a window and stole it."
"You don't know who's it was?" Superhero asked. "You didn't see the owner?"
The villains shook their heads.
Hero sighed. Of course this lead went nowhere. Life at the agency had been so boring and repetitive lately- this vigilante case was finally something that had pulled Hero from their humdrum everyday routine.
And now they still had no idea where to start with it.
Well, the vigilante case and being kidnapped for a few hours, that was. That didn't happen every day.
Just as Hero was trying to figure out where else they could follow this case to, Villain leapt onto the table.
They'd been sitting with their feet crossed on their chair, and in a moment they'd pushed themself up into a squat before jumping to the plastic folding table between them. It wobbled, and despite their arms still being tied behind their back, Villain immediately found their balance.
Hero and Superhero started back from the table. "What are you- get down!" Superhero shouted. Hero was more used to Villain's antics, and they knew to back as far away as they could.
"If you insist," Villain shrugged.
As they leapt down their foot lashed out, connecting nicely with Superhero's skull. The crime-stopper was sent flying sideways, the other side of their head hitting the wall.
They slumped to the ground, unconscious.
Before Hero could react Villain lunged at them, and in an instant Hero found themself on their back, pinned to the ground by Villain's foot. The criminal's arms were still bound as they used their head to motion to Supervillain. "Get the door, they'll have seen that. They'll be in in three... two... one..."
Right on cue, the door flew open, narrowly missing Hero's head as it slammed against the wall. Supervillain threw themself at the other heroes, even with their hands tied behind their back they were clearly skilled enough to keep the other heroes at bay.
From the ground, Hero couldn't see much of the fight. All they could hear was thuds of impact and occasional yells, Villain's foot was too heavy on their chest, they couldn't shift it off.
Villain paid no attention to Hero, a wide grin on their face as they watched Supervillain. Their hair was wild from their earlier car chase, their eyes lit with a special kind of affection while they watched their partner. They cheered the Supervillain on, and despite their situation, Hero couldn't help but realize how sweet that was.
Eventually a pair of dark soulless shoes landed next to Hero's head. "That's all of them for now," Supervillain was out of breath. "There'll be more soon though. Wanna get out of here?"
Villain smirked. "I thought you'd never a-"
"Wait!" It took the hero a moment to realize they were the one who had shouted. The villains looked down at them, as if just remembering they were there. "Take me with you."
Villain bent down closer to them, pressing more weight on them and making the hero gasp. "...Why?"
The crime-stopper's voice was strained as their chest was constricted. "I-I'm tired of everything here. You kidnapping m-me was the most exciting thing tha-ats happened in the last six months. Please take me w-with you."
"You fight villains every day and you're bored?" Supervillain was intrigued.
Hero nodded.
"Poor thing, you really do need a thrill." Villain leaned closer, bent so their face was inches from Hero's. Hero couldn't keep the blush off their own face- if anyone asked the redness was from lack of oxygen. "We'll let you come with us if you can uncuff us."
Hero nodded again, now unable to form words.
"Deal!" Villain got off of them, and Hero gasped for air. "Now come on, we don't have time to waste! Get up get up get up-"
Hero was nudged to their feet before they could even catch their breath, and was only given an opportunity to do so after they'd pulled the keys to the cuffs out of their pocket and given it to the villains. The two undid their cuffs in mere seconds, and then Hero was whisked out of the room and off to their new life.
Villain ran on Hero's left side, Supervillain on their right. The two caught Hero looking as they ran together down the hall, and simultaneously threw them devilish smirks.
Hero quickly turned their gaze forward.
If anyone asked, the redness from was the exertion of running.

Hi!! how would you feel about continuing prompt 15? both parts were sooo cute and i absolutely need to know what villain thinks so bad. love your writing, and take your time of course :)
YEAAAAAAAHHHHHH more of them <3
Prompt #15 (Pt.3)
(Part 1) (Part 2)
Villain swallowed as they slipped into the little room where they'd been meeting up with Hero for the last few weeks.
They looked around, taking it all in.
The little bed, the window with its curtains that would always lift gently in the early morning breeze. The bedside table, where they would set up Hero's watch to project a movie onto the wall. The creaky floor, the peeling paint.
The bed was messy, and after only a moment's hesitation, Villain crossed to it to properly make it. Tucking the sheets in, plumping the pillows, folding back the comforter just a little at the top, they spared no expense.
Then they stood back, and took a deep breath.
It took them a moment to realize they were shaking.
With another deep breath, they slid their hand into their pocket, pulling out a plain white envelope. They stared at it for a moment, trying to convince themself to do it. That this was really happening, and this was what they had to do about it.
Fingers trembling, they reached out and set it on one of the pillows, on the side Hero always slept on.
Then they took a quick step back, as if the thought of being too close to the envelope for a moment longer terrified them.
They had to do this.
It was for their own good, both theirs and Hero's.
Cutting things off was the only good option they had here.
Because Hero loved Villain. Hero loved Villain.
Their whispered words in the dark had told them, and their gentle and considerate body language around Villain only confirmed it.
And Villain had to admit to themself, a part of them loved Hero back.
But they couldn't be together. Hero had said from the beginning they couldn't catch feelings, because that wouldn't just jeopardize their job, but their entire life. The agency forbad any kind of close relationship with a Villain, and they would strike with wrath if they found out about this.
Which was why it'd just been a small thing, a little fling while the two were feeling lonely.
It wasn't supposed to snowball into... this.
Hero, bless their heart, was clearly too lovestruck to see how terrible this was, how awful it would be if the agency found out. They couldn't see that if this progressed, things would only get worse for the both of them, but for Hero especially.
So that left Villain to do the right thing and end it now. Before they themself got too attached, and before something bad happened to Hero.
This was the only good option they had.
Villain had the hardest time trying to convince themself to cut things off. They'd spent the last week debating, talking to Hero as if they didn't know they loved them. Feigning ignorance just so they could let themself get a few last days with Hero. It probably wasn't good for them, that strange kind of longing, but they needed to be around them one last time.
Despite being their enemy, here in this room Hero always felt safe. They were always comforting, always kind, always listening to what Villain needed. They were a person to talk to, and Villain barely had any of those. They were someone to spend time with, and Villain hadn't realized how lonely they were until they found themself missing Hero during the time between their meetups.
They'd have to suck it up and go back to feeling lonely now.
The letter was their explanation, their closure, their goodbye. Villain needed to do this.
For the both of them.
Part of them wanted to leap forward and tear the letter to shreds, forget this whole silly idea and lay down and wait for Hero to come. With Hero everything would be easier, they could forget about this for a minute, leave it all behind.
But that doomed them to even more hurt in the future.
With one last shuddering breath- they would not cry, they would not cry- Villain looked around the room one last time, and slipped out as quietly as they'd come.

Can you continue prompt #20? I'm a sucker for some fluff and want villain to surviveeee
Okay okay, fluff for you :3
Prompt #20 (Part 2)
(Part 1)
Villain was terrified.
They were trapped and injured, no way to get out and the only person available to help was also trapped with them.
They knew Hero was trying their best to get them out of there, but for a moment, Villain didn't want them to. They just wanted someone next to them, a reminder that they weren't here alone.
That they wouldn't die alone.
"H-Hero?" Their voice was shaky, Villain felt it was barely audible. They hoped Hero had heard them, even though their foe stood only a few feet away.
"I'm right here." That wonderful response, the reassurance feeling like a cool breeze on a boiling hot summer day. Villain closed their eyes, swallowed painfully.
"You can get us out, right?"
Hero let out a breath. Villain didn't know if they were unsure, or just tired of Villain asking. "Yeah, we'll get out."
"You're sure?" Villain couldn't help but ask.
"Mm-hm."
That wasn't enough. Villain shifted slightly, trying to face the hero. "Can-" they moved too much, they gasped in pain. "-can you come sit by me again? Just for a minute?"
Hero didn't answer, but Villain heard them approach, saw them crouch down next them, felt their arms reach out to hold them close. Villain collapsed against them, their tears falling freely as Hero squeezed them tightly.
This was it. They were really going to die down here, bleeding out in Hero's arms. Now that the hero was holding them, they found it harder to stay awake, harder to keep their eyes open. They knew giving in would be signing themself over to oblivion, but now that sounded nice.
That meant no more pain, no more fear, no more darkness. Drifting off next to Hero felt like heaven, in several different meanings.
They could finally be peaceful.
Villain was distantly aware of Hero sitting up, saying something. But they were too far gone, they couldn't hear it.
They only really wanted to protest when they felt Hero moving, their hand tightening feebly in the hero's clothes. They didn't want to stay here by themself, they didn't want to die alone.
But by now the oblivion had gotten too close, and Hero was gone.
With one last shuddering breath,
Villain was too.
They woke blearily to a faint beeping noise. For a moment, that was all they could register.
They were floating on a soft, warm cloud, not quite awake, but they weren't asleep anymore. Faint warm shapes moved beyond their half-lidded fuzzy vision, and all Villain could do at first was watch the colors go by. They listened quietly to the beeping, and to the gentle thudding of their own heart.
Finally, the rest of their senses caught up, and they slowly opened their eyes fully, taking in their surroundings.
They were lying on their back in a hospital bed, tucked beneath the blankets with their hands resting at their sides. The window to their right let in a warm glow from the sunrise, casting the room in a beautiful peach color. Another thing Villain noticed was the slight resistance around their chest as they inhaled, and it took them a moment to realize it was from a bandage.
They lifted their hand, staring at their IV for a moment.
That's when everything else sank in.
They were alive.
But where was Hero? How had they made it out? Had Hero not made it out? Were they okay? Had they been hurt? Where were they?
Villain wanted to get up, go find them. But they were too exhausted to move, too sore, to weak. Clearly still recovering, all they could do was lay there, useless.
A few minutes went by before anything happened.
A nurse slipped in, their eyebrows rising in surprise as they saw Villain awake. As they moved away from the door, someone else came in behind them.
"Hero!" Villain exclaimed. They made it! They were alright!
"Villain!" Hero rushed past the nurse to Villain's bedside, leaning down to hold the side of their face. "You're awake! Are you alright?"
A bit of Villain's usual smug and teasing tone snuck in. "What, worried about me?"
"Of course I was," Hero leaned forward, gently touching their forehead against Villain's. "I was so worried, Villain."
"Thanks for getting me out of there," Villain's hand lifted to gently cup Hero's, still pressed against the side of their face. They'd never seen the crime stopper this relieved for them, so previously concerned about them. "Thank you for... everything."
It was because of Hero that Supervillain was now gone, and Villain could finally be free.
"Of course," Hero smiled, their face illuminated in loving warm tones from the light outside.
With one last forehead touch, they stood up and backed away, letting the nurse approach Villain to check on them. They asked the criminal a few questions, adjusting things and making sure they were stable and comfortable. Then they left, telling the two they'd be back soon to bring Villain some food.
As soon as the door to Villain's hospital room was shut Hero wasted no time in settling down on the bed next to them, reclined back like Villain was with their shoulders pressed against one another.
Hero was quick to fill them in on what had happened, about how the team combing the rubble had found the two of them, and Hero had first hauled Villain up to them. The villain had been whisked away, and it'd been hours before Hero found out if they were even alive or not.
As Hero described their relief in finding that Villain was alive, Villain quietly slipped their hand into Hero's, both resting against each other on the bed. Hero gripped it tightly, but otherwise didn't acknowledge the action as they continued with their story.
Despite having been unconscious for over twenty-four hours, Villain was still exhausted. They were achingly hungry and wanted to hear Hero's story, but it wasn't long before they felt themself drifting off, their head drooping down to rest on Hero's shoulder.
They were safe with Hero, they were safe with Supervillain gone. Now that the oblivion no longer threatened to kill them, they welcomed it as they let themself finally drift off to sleep next to Hero.
