with just a short few days off school, i’m some spending time on hobbies! today i am learning about the art of knitting. i want to learn how to make a little hat like the little pup in my icon is wearing hehe. the guide from the NYT i was reading was talking about how simple it really is and how soothing it can be. it also mentions the actual health benefits of knitting (reduce stress hormones, help kick addiction, and even potentially prevent memory loss!) now if that isn’t a good pitch for getting into knitting, i don’t know what is. so today is day 1 of what is hopefully and long and joyful knitting journey!

it’s thanksgiving week! i’m a sucker for this time of year when the leaves are changing color and it’s getting cooler. i finished my exams and turned in an essay this morning, so i decided to take a nice little walk today to celebrate the start of a week off of school. i’m so tempted to just abandon all responsibility for the week, but i’ve sadly still got a few things to handle. maybe i’ll give myself a thanksgiving treat and cancel on a meeting or two

15.10.20 - I’ve spent the last couple of days moving into my new house and unpacking all my things! My bookshelves are looking a little empty but that means I can buy more books lmao. Also here’s a pic of my kitty who woke me up at 6am to cuddle and stare at the birds out my window

funnily enough, sometimes i feel like the more i study the less prepared i feel because i’m just discovering more information that i didn’t know before. today is definitely one of those day. i think i just need to finish my practice problems and then be at peace with it! excited to get through tomorrow hehe. i have to do 3 things i’ve been dreading (take an exam, do a work video call, and go to the dentist), but a hard tuesday will make wednesday all the better! hope you are having a good start to your week! if not, take it easy, tomorrow is a new day :)
