Here I go on a tangent. Sorry guys! 🤣 First off, @why-diane-why , I appreciate that you're anti-anti, or seem to be. Because that group is as hateful, delusional and toxic as they come. @therestorer - thumbs up!

That being said, in my humble opinion, lol-jackles is a joke. Just a pompous incel who is more than likely sitting in his mom's basement catfishing a bunch of clueless SPN fans (antis?) because he enjoys the attention his little fiefdom provides him. His blog may be the only place on planet earth where he gets the respect and attention he craves. How do I know this? Well, I've read his posts in his own words, and married that with a little good ol armchair psychology, because I know the wanksters LOVE that... and voila! A character analysis was born. Pretty easy, huh? That's how it works.

For real though, all he needs to do is Google some basics for the industries he claims to have superior knowledge of: Law, entertainment, and finance (but really - pretty much EVERYTHING) and deliver his opinion masked as "fact" with a smug enough sense of authority and boom! He can convincingly feed you any line of bullshit he wants to.

And for such a smart, wealthy, successful, industry insider, he's got an awful lot of free time to mingle with us Tumblr plebs, doesn't he?

That dude knows about as much as any of the rest of you + Google does. The rest is bullshit soup. Whether you choose to eat it up or not is your prerogative. There's my free hot take.

I’ve been reading lol-jackles blog and he has a specific anti Jensen ackles tag. I am a fan of Jensen’s but not enough to where I would get offended if someone had a different opinion of him, than me. One thing he said is that Jensen has been playing a version of dean Winchester as early as days of our lives. I’ve never watch his performance in it but he’s not wrong. J has been playing a version of dean since dark angel. Devour and my bloody Valentine were all version of dean. 1/2

Yeah, dude! We’re on the same page, here. it’s kind of like how Nirvana was in the same market as Courtney Love’s band, Hole, before Nirvana exploded. They were peers in competition with one another, but then boom, Nirvana was the historic hit. Once Nirvana was a household name, people labeled Courtney as a groupie, and then they hated her for being Kurt’s wife, and now they make up conspiracies about her to this day. But Hole was a band unto themselves, and both Cobain and Love had similar working class/abusive home backgrounds, and they had similar interests (like uh, addiction. yikes. but the analogy still stands lmao)

I think Jensen was still looking for a role and then with covid shutting everything down he probably lost a lot of financial investments, too (and not just the brewery!)

That’s why JDM announced that the Ackles will be on the AMC show, but hasn’t mentioned Jared. The point of the show is to give actors a way to promote and “work from home” a bit. Jared’s Walker reboot was set to go “straight to series” so it’s likely that it will still happen. Jared also has more financial stability even if he wasn’t locked into a leading role already.

That is also probably why the Ackles haven’t done a big charity donation yet. They either will announce something on the morgan show, or they’re holding off because they’re financially unstable right now. (Jensen isn’t even as inclined toward big donations as Jared anyway, but if you’re reading lol-jackles then you probably know alll about that. heh.)

Also, just remembered something! Danneel’s character in Ten Inch Hero was a subversion of the “bimbo” trope, and Jensen’s character was a subversion of the “manchild” trope. Interesting, isn’t it?

Crowley sits on his throne, waiting and wishing for the Winchesters to call.

His minions drag in a djinn, her skin wreathed in blue squiggles, her hair a bright and matted snarl. She’s frail, wide-eyed and frantic in her stammering. Hasn’t eaten in months. Mistook the demonically possessed for a potential snack.

Spare me, she begs. Spare me and I’ll – I’ll grant you three wishes!

Three wishes. What might Crowley accomplish with three wishes?

He thinks how he could wish for complete and undisputed control over Hell. For infinite power, for compulsive respect from his minions, from monsters and hunters and angels and gods alike. He could wish for domination and subservience and others’ admittance to apologies owed. He could wish for the dissipation of his semi-restored soul and be at peace, even if that peace is being entombed in all-consuming darkness. Numb, but unaware and uncaring of what has been lost. He could wish for acceptance, for forgiveness, love. Redemption.

But in the end, Crowley doesn’t wish for any of those things. Not when he’s only being offered three wishes.

Instead, he wishes that Castiel feels like he has a purpose, that he belongs. And that Sam no longer feels like he needs to prove he’s good enough. And Dean. For Dean, Crowley wishes that a peaceful night’s sleep comes easier, that the pain and the memories and the fear of loss just fade away. He wishes Dean is no longer made to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders.

And then Crowley kills the djinn. He’s known all along she can’t grant him any sort of wish. And she will only share his wishes, should she be allowed to live.

Crowley goes back to his throne, and wishes he were anywhere – anyone – else.
