you sit at the vanity, putting the finishing touches on your look for today . . .

your wedding day.

growing up, you really never thought this day would come. for a while, you dreamed about it— when you were still quite young. then you spent a lot of your teen years and most of your twenties hating the idea of like, soulmates and baring your soul to someone; it all became quite sickening to you.

then the fire in texas happened, and you were dispatched from los angeles to help the texas firefighters. that’s when you met marjan.

marjan was everything you’d ever hoped for when you were a little girl. she was honest and brave and kind. you felt like you could show her the worst parts of yourself and still be fiercely loved by her. she gave you that feeling of home not being a place but a person, and as long as you were with her, you’d be just fine.

sure, the saying “butterflies in the tummy” is somewhat of an injustice to how you’re currently feeling— it’s more like a stampede and not so much in your stomach; it’s kind of like in the center of your chest. and it feels like your heart is running so fast and you can’t quite catch up with it.

but you get to marry the love of your life today.

marjan is in her room, getting ready. she has her dress and hijab on, her makeup done lightly. she really just needs to put on her shoes and grab her bouquet, but it’s still quite some time until her dad will come grab her to bring her to you.

jeez.

after losing salim, marjan didn’t think she’d fall in love again. or at least, she didn’t expect it to happen so soon and so quickly.

you two were just kind of friends when she separated with her fiancé, corresponding via mainly instagram dms after your firehouse left texas after combatting the wildfire.

several months later, you had some vacation days you were able to use and you chose to go back to texas . . . get to know the 126 a little bit better.

neither you or marjan could have predicted quite exactly how your relationship would progress.

for a while, she’d thought salim was the great love of her life. but when she was with you, it was like everything was clearer. you were her great idea, her warm blanket on a chilly night, her sun and rainbow after a particularly rainy day.

she fell in love with you so fast, it scared her for a moment. then when she thought about it, she realized she was ready for it. ready to love you fiercely and with everything in her.

the universe had brought you two together. all your moments in life, every breath, had led up to the two of you meeting, to being brought together.

“marjan.” the woman turns to find evan buckley, her soon to be brother-in-law, approaching from the corridor. “can i uh, can i come in?”

“of course!”

“you look absolutely wonderful,” buck says. “y/n is going to be stunned.”

“thank you,” marjan blushes.

buck steps forward, rubbing his chin. he’s thinking of what exactly to say to marjan, how to string together the cluster of words in his head.

“you know,” buck starts, placing his hands in the pockets of his slacks. “before she met you, y/n was sort of in a bad place. of course you know this. my sis tells me everything and she tells me that she tells you everything.”

the two laugh at that for a quick moment before buck continues. “i don’t think she’s been this happy since we were really little. she’s always had sort of a guard up, never really allowed herself to be happy. i uh, i’m very grateful she met you, marjan. and that you make her so happy. it means everything to me to see those genuine, bright smiles from her, you know?”

“me too, buck. gee, you’ll never know how thankful i am that she was brought into my life.” marjan says, with a tearful laugh. she dabs gently underneath her eyes. “y/n is everything to me. i know how much you mean to her, so it means a lot to hear you say that— probably more than you’ll ever know.”

buck throws his arm over marjan’s shoulder. the soon-to-be missus smiles up at the taller firefighter from los angeles, california.

“you and i are going to make great in-laws, sis.”

you smile at yourself in the full length mirror, smoothing down the chest of your outfit. it was an arduous task, finding and acquiring the outfit of your dreams for this day but here you are, wearing it now.

a knock on the door causes you to jump. your heartbeat settles just a little upon seeing your older brother evan at the doorway via glancing in the mirror. you smile at him.

he approaches you, step by agonizingly slow step, placing his hands on your shoulders. he turns you to face him, and brings you into a tight hug.

“ready to be married?” he asks once he pulls away from you. the smile on his face is wide, not unlike the one you wore about an hour ago as you put on the outfit. “oh, my baby sis— about to be married!”

“yeah,” you sniffle. “i am.”

“you nervous?”

“a little,” you admit.

“a little?” he repeats. “i wish i could say, ‘don’t be’ and have that take all your nerves away, but we both know that won’t work. but y/n, in just a few moments, i will take you out there and we will meet marjan and mr. marwani at the doors and we will walk down the aisle and you will marry the love of your life.”

you let out a breath of air you didn’t know you were holding as you nod at your brother. a small note sounds throughout the room, indicating it’s time. looking at your brother, he smiles, bending his right arm and holding it out to you.

“shall we?”

you link your left arm with his, grabbing your bouquet as you are led out of the room.

in time with your arrival to the closed doors to the great hall, is marjan and her father. you swear your heart just about stops upon seeing your soon to be wife in her wedding dress. it’s a long sleeve garment, with intricate beading adorning the bodice, the dropped waist giving way to a tulle skirt with hand-placed lace motifs.

a soft breath leaves your lips.

“you look . . . beautiful,” you say. “but even that’s not a worthy enough word to descirbe you right now.”

she laughs softly. “you as well.” she says and she smiles at you, that one smile of hers that is warm and bright and all the good things in the world at once.

“let’s go get married.”

“married,” you smile too wide on purpose, letting your nose scrunch up. the laugh marjan lets out sends a shot of warmth through your entire being. “yes, i like the sound of that.”

the doors open.

Did you pick a sign after creating your character or use it as a template? How much do they resemble their sun sign? What about their sign or chart doesn't fit them at all?

For some characters I used the sign as a template! Riaghael specifically, I wanted an Aries. I myself am a Cap and I appreciate the drive of the fellow Goats. Then I started playing around with the other positions for things I liked in terms of moon, rising, mercury, mars, and so on. But I knew I wanted Aries, so I started with his astrology chart and made a character from there! I think he's fairly obviously an Aries, or at least he was when he we still in the Pact. I can see him being mistaken for a Capricorn now in his retirement. Since I got to custom tailor his chart before making his character, most of the stuff fits!

For Dion, it was just the opposite. His character decided his own personality and then I tried to fit a series of placements to it. I don't think it always matches with his personality to be honest! But I haven't gone as in depth as I have with Riag's chart. Pisces as his sun fits him pretty well, though I can also see him being a Cancer. His rising sign is funny to me, because it's so far removed from how I really see him. Objectively, sure, if we're doing the "Scorpios are intense and scary" trope I can sort of see how an outsider can see him as that. But really he's... He's a softy. A big sweet potato. I'm not sure what I'd have his rising be though, but it doesn't vibe with how I know him to be.

(I love all my kids but Riag's def been the most developed since he's the main focus of my canon fic)

Two Texas Movies That’ll Talk the Ears Off a Mule by Nathaniel Thompson

One thing you get attuned to growing up in the South is an ear for accents, which also means that when you hear a bad Southern accent in a film, it’s like hearing someone raking their nails on a chalkboard. That also makes you even more grateful when movies manage to get it right, and one state that’s had much better luck over the years than usual in Texas. While actors almost always struggle and usually fail trying to capture the twang of someone from Georgia, Alabama or the Carolinas, characters from Texas tend to be more convincing thanks to the combination of traditional Southern drawl and cowboy swagger that can switch from arrogance to vulnerability in the blink of an eye. It’s an actor’s dream, and you can find some fine examples in the current “Deep in the Heart of Texas” spotlight on FilmStruck featuring a wide array of cinematic snapshots of the Lone Star state.

Hollywood has had a long-running love affair with Texas stories for decades, but the first really modern look at what it’s like growing up in a small town there arrived with Peter Bogdanovich’s THE LAST PICTURE SHOW (’71), arguably the definitive Texas film for reasons numerous enough to fill books (which they have) and a great American coming-of-age story to boot. The film’s influence has extended through many subsequent films about the twilight period of adolescence, with its candid sexuality and sad-eyed outlook often emphasized by critics over its welcome adherence to that prime Texas quality, the gift of gab. The way characters talk in this film is just as important and naturalistic as what Robert Altman was doing around the same time, and though this one doesn’t get the same amount of credit in that regard, it’s a clear influence on two ‘90s films you’ll find pair up with that classic quite nicely if you’re up for some FilmStruck binging.

No single director has made the most of Texas locations as spectacularly and consistently as Richard Linklater, who’s turned out a string of modern classics set all over the state including DAZED AND CONFUSED (’93), BOYHOOD (’14), EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!! (’16), and my personal pick as his most underrated masterpiece, BERNIE (’11), which opens with a quick primer for the ages covering the major territories of Texas. You can find the basis for all of those films with Linklater’s very first legitimately released feature film, SLACKER (’91), which is available for streaming right now and should be part of anyone’s basic ‘90s cinema education. It’s the ultimate Texas yakking film as it tosses any kind of traditional storyline out the window; instead we meet a succession of Austin, Texas residents who mainly represent the crazier side of Generation X a la Texas, pontificating on any number of topics including UFO and assassination conspiracies, financial woes, and pop culture, most memorably Madonna. In what may be a weird nod to Martin Scorsese’s role in TAXI DRIVER (’76), Linklater himself even turns up as a taxi cab passenger in the opening minutes running his mouth about a dream with “nothing going on at all” and how The Wizard of Oz serves as an example of how multiple realities exist. The cumulative effect is dizzying, surreal, morbid, and often hilarious, setting the template for Linklater’s more adventurous side that would turn up again in those BERNIE townspeople segments and his philosophical animated experiment WAKING LIFE (2001) as well as the frequently overlooked SUBURBIA (1996). Shot for peanuts on 16mm with a slew of real colorful Austin residents, it’s really ground zero for the city’s current reputation as the state’s premiere cinema haven and a quirky cultural oasis that has become a synonym for movie geek culture. Now, whether we’ve all really been on Mars since ’62 is a question that has yet to be answered…

I’d bet good money that the one film in this spotlight seen by the smallest amount of people has to be one of the most recent: DANCER, TEXAS POP. 81 (’98). This one proved to be a tough sell at a tricky time when little indies like this were getting crowded out, neither hitting the Miramax-ified art house crowd nor the slick big-budget studio product filling the rapidly accumulating multiplexes. That’s a shame as it’s a sweet little charmer of a film whose PG rating probably turned off any potential younger viewers hoping for something a little rowdier, and if it were made today it would probably go straight to streaming. So in a way it’s fitting you’ll probably find it for the first time here on FilmStruck, where its easygoing charms will be nice and easy to digest. This was part of a slew of late ‘90s teen films essentially throwing a lot of young actors in different combinations to recreate the brat pack magic of the prior decade. Some of them scored direct hits like the SCREAM sequels, AMERICAN PIE (’99) and CAN’T HARDLY WAIT, another 1998 film that shares three of this film’s stars, Peter Facinelli, Ethan Embry and Breckin Meyer. (The fourth star here, Eddie Mills, hasn’t been nearly as high profile.)

Technically it has more of a plot than SLACKER but not by much as it features a snapshot of four young men about to graduate from high school, first seen sitting in the middle of the road in foldout chairs under the blazing sun and pondering how to get the Rand McNally atlas to acknowledge their home’s existence. All of them are contemplating leaving the itty-bitty township—as they remark more than once, they first got tickets to go to California two years ago—but there’s also the value of nurturing the roots you’ve been setting up throughout your young life. Not surprisingly, some characters go through with the decision to move way while others have a different fate in store. Mostly though it’s a positive snapshot of male camaraderie without any artificial drama as we stop along the way for concerns like finding a job, enduring a bumbling mishap at church or just hanging out on a porch having a chat. It’s not the kind of thing some viewers will find gripping, but it’s a nice afternoon viewing choice and ultimately quite moving at the end if you let it work its subtle charms. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the treacly score, but you can’t have everything.

A lot of credit for this film’s authenticity has to go to writer-director Tim McCanlies, making his directorial debut and using his knack for little details as a fifth-generation Texan to paint a vivid portrait of day-to-day small-town life. His second feature film, SECONDHAND LIONS (’03), returned to Texas to equally convincing effect, though in between he also wrote what would become one of the most acclaimed American animated films of the past two decades, THE IRON GIANT (’99). It’s a shame we haven’t heard from him in several years as he’s a voice worth hearing.

The Orange Ray - who are you?

There’s a talk of Divine Rays of Creation online so I’d like to address the Orange Ray because everybody’s talking of Blue Rays and apparently others are sitting quiet, like non-existing ;) I’ve a feeling that I’ve covered that topic before, but I can’t find it now, so here you go, as it’s important to ‘know thyself’.

The story goes that in the beginning of the Universe, there were 3 founder flames/lights - blue (cyan), golden (yellow) and magenta. They then mixed and created other colors - green, red and blue (indigo). Then these mixed with both the founders and others to creating even more colors.

On the electromagnetic spectrum scale, violet and indigo/blue light waves are the shortest, while orange and red is the longest. Thus one may say that the Blue Rays let go of old mental stuff and teachings easily as they trust the Universe’s guidance but the Oranges and the Reds not so well as they’re need a solid proof to believe. Blue Rays may be better in telepathy and learning things from the aura, or in spirit, but Oranges would like to have a human chat and maybe sex before judging :) Not that we are underdeveloped but we just need more proofs to figure out is one walks their talk as we like stability.

Orange Ray (in the color theory) is an amalgam, a creation of the Red and Yellow Rays (if Gold Ray is involved, then Orange gets a gold glow, or sparks).

Orange is a Ray crucial for the act of creation to happen at all. Orange Ray is the energy of orgasm, the roar, the pleasure, the major transmutation of many into One, the ejection and the injection of itself into the Universe. Orange is the very essence of the blast, explosion, the Big Bang without which tension couldn’t be transmuted into calm. It is love, intimacy, passion and wit too.

Therefore, it governs the 2nd of the 7, the sacral chakra in the human body (located below the belly button where the genital zone begins inside) which corresponds with anything pleasure (sex), joy, self-confidence and life-giving. Not just giving birth to children, but also bringing a (new) life to art, projects, ideas, moving things forward by motivation and encouragement, re-doing, re-storing things to give it a new shine and meaning.

When the Red Ray brings action, tension and a need to express itself, then Orange takes it further to 1) transmute many into One, 2) release, eject & express, 3) create a thrilling joy by purification. When all these steps happen, the energy can then settle down and one can analyze everything what happened to bask in post-creation happiness, satisfaction and harmony - here comes the Yellow Ray (of the Sun in the middle of the day), and the color of solar plexus chakra too.

The color of the Sun is traditionally assigned to the masculine energy but we all know females can be masculine too (here, here!), and humans have in fact 2 energies in one body, hence the inner conflict. As angelics, we are androgynous - we’re powered by the 3rd energy which is the mix of the masculine, feminine and the divine.

Now, people who identify themselves as the Orange Rays are: self-confident, usually well grounded, open, dynamic, multi-tasking, courageous, persistent, straight-forward, honest, positive, intelligent, intellectual, electric and magnetic at the same time, usually described as ‘hot’, ‘foxy’, ‘sexy’, generally attractive to the same and opposite sexes, which often has little to do with the physical look, but rather with the vibration of the body, the heart and mind. The Oranges love anything physical made with a use of the body, hands and legs, even hips ;). They enjoy the nature (gardening, camping, hiking, eating outdoor, visiting parks).

Of human activities however, they cherish sex the most, including outdoor sex because not only it brings their inner balance back but takes them ‘home’. Oranges are ‘natural born lovers’ who almost never need to learn anything sex-related - they just come and perform as they feel they should. They are turned on easily, and experience orgasms beyond human imagination. Oranges can have orgasms without the physical stimulation too and it its thanks to their fiery imagination. When they cum, they spiritually eject themselves out of the body, planet and galaxy and into the Universe, to their ‘home’ where they feel unlimited. They are craving for intense sex and orgasms as this is the only human activity letting them reach the highest state needed for the transmutation. The Oranges can have many sexual partners but these don’t make them feel closer to ‘god’. It’s because the Orange Rays are craving for that one and only to invest their precious, sacred powers into, the Perfect Lover who is also the boyfriend, the husband, the best friend, who stays put, is always available and enjoys passion as much as they do, etc etc. (Thus we got a Twin-Flame, to fire up as two!) It is best when said love making comes in a stable relationship, with trust and love but the Oranges can explode also during a one night stand, considering the lover is a trusted, direct and playful ‘professional’ who not only plays with the Oranges intellectually but understands their body language as well. Don’t forget about oils, candles, quiet music, massage and incense sticks. The spiritual self-ejection into the Universe lets the Orange Rays become that true sacred orange power without limiting requirements, addictions, templates, rules and regulations of the human world.

The Oranges scream loudly when they make love, but also sing aloud when they are home alone to release that constantly burning fire. If for whatever reason they cannot make love, they always ‘do’ something instead since ‘not doing’ makes them feel neurotic. They get frustrated when the Chi energy doesn’t have a creative outlet. They are very practical however and won’t make things which then they couldn’t utilize - thus they want to re-do, re-store, re-produce, then sell or at least share to hear some applause in return. They enjoy multiplying things creatively. If they buy anything or invest money in, they want to retrieve that money in any other form later on.

The Oranges are often artists, philosophers, tradesmen, business people, teachers, explorers, travelers, and/or sportsmen as they love motion (of a body or thought), yet moving on their own - exploring on foot, bike, to feel their own body strength and muscles’ effort. They love seeing things in motion too - car racing, ice skating, horse riding, a carrousel, a machine etc. but they prefer to participate in action. They have a natural ADHD symptoms which is in fact high body vibration. They are impatient but persistent which counter-weights the former and lets them achieve goals. If the goal however doesn’t materialize fast, they leave it for another time as they have no patience for waiting. The fire must burn! They bring the fire through practical, yet original ideas but they don’t have enough of patience to release them, so these must be continued by somebody who has a solid plan and more endurance. In fact, the Orange Rays could do well by selling ideas only.

The Orange Ray people are known for the self-talk which keeps them in touch with their Higher Self and confirms their best choices, but they also love talking directly to others, inducing plants, animals, insects and even items. The Oranges somewhat hate the sound of the telephone as they are afraid of anything sudden - usually unpleasant news which could disturb their inner balance, considering that it was a hard task to balance the fire. They love anything what tastes sweet (like sweet wine, dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream etc.) and very spicy too. The Oranges enjoys seeing beautiful sights - views from the mountain, dancing flames of a bonfire, sunsets, wastelands, deserts, space and freedom, hot sunshine, hot winds, hot air, hot water, and anything which makes their tense muscles in the back, thighs, sacral and root chakras (and the brain!) relax.

They love the feel during the sunset when the orange light covers everything - they then feel united with All That Is, safe and exclusively loved by the Sun at that very moment. They often paint their room orange to mimic and surround themselves with such a burning light and express own shine too. In astronomy, an orange star often means a dying star which may also bring memories of a star the Orange Rays might have lived near by and which might exploded in the distant past bringing an end to their existence. Orange light however carries deep, sacral love and thus the dying star also emanates it. A connection with the Sun, also with orange, giant stars like Betelgeuse, Antares, Arcturus, Aldebaran, and with orange rock and soil, volcanoes and lava, with Mars and/or Venus feels natural to these Orange human-angelics.

The Orange Rays cannot stand uncertainty, lack of knowledge and safety, instability, chaos, and poor life conditions. They dislike cold weather, cold winds, rain and cold water overall. Skin & joints are sensitive. Mentally, they cannot cope with enslavement, a lack of freedom of choice, sadness, sickness (own or anybody around), and they hate the low vibration overall. Very sensitive thus very reactive to sounds, colors, fragrances, forms, shapes, and said motion. The Oranges are naturally egocentric and run away from anything unpleasant as means to protect themselves from disturbance because they know it takes much of their inner power and time to make them re-balanced. They know themselves very well as they listen to their bodies, hearts and minds. If they run, it means they felt their inner harmony greatly endangered.

They are somewhat persistent to stay in the same environment for many years if they don’t find anything better as they don’t like changes, even-though they are natural energy transmuters. Transmutation through the Orange Ray is an ultimate, complete, a non-revertible experience, so the Orange knows he/she can burn out quickly if they overload their powers. That’s why adult Orange Rays are aware (through past experiences) to not engage foolishly into changing things for others, and giving them own power, if such individuals neither want a change, nor asked for help. The Oranges hate making mistakes. Every adult Orange Ray’s decision comes after lots of thinking, analysis and testing because they want to take only one action, to invest only once and well, then be at least 95% satisfied and feel secure. This is not natural, but self-taught after receiving a few bitter life lessons. The Oranges are as impulsive as Red Rays, with the difference that the Reds like keeping things for themselves, but the Oranges love sharing. Orange Rays don’t like taking a risk but are brave when they face an emergency situation, and then often lead other people telling them what to do, and fast! They turn into an adviser, motivator, protector and warrior.

If Orange Rays cannot express themselves, they get bipolar - angry and frustrated, blaming and hating everybody around for own pity, often becoming self-destructive. Then if anything finally lets them have fun, they may exaggerate or become addicted easily. Orange hates anything cold, but they’re somewhat attracted to places unavailable to them or to reserved people, as if they wanted to test themselves, to try to melt any resistance or ice away. Oranges are put off by rabble, rudeness, arrogance, stupidity, manipulation, cruelty, slavery and blindness.

The biggest advantage of being born as the Orange Ray is that you force yourself to move on after every failure because you hate that stuck energy within. You always find that one more hope, thinking that when you do things differently the next time, then you will finally achieve what you desired. You transmute everything from shallow into high, more advanced, and certainly happier. You bring fire, motivation, action into places and into people’s vibration even if you don’t interact with these. You bring hope. It’s enough that you are amongst the people or in places (which also emanate energy) and shine with your golden sparks, vibrant energy and the inner heat. You simply make depressed people stand up and move on; believe that things must be improved.

At some point, Oranges realize they came from the Sun (or Sun-like stars) and they can radiate such a physical heat too. It is important they become aware they are a sun within and they can heat themselves up anytime they want which warmth will keep them positive, away from fears and worrying.

The Orange folks serve as conductors to let raw energies from Gaia flow into the Universe, and vice versa. They do it through own bodies, by filtering, rejecting the bad and weak, letting only the best, most valuable and the strongest vibration pass through. That’s why they have to find a way, of even few ways to release, trash the transmutation process ‘leftovers’ to keep the ‘furnace’ clean. Leaving a soot in a chimney is dangerous, as it can catch fire easily! :)

Life mission of Orange Rays is to believe and trust in themselves and support own self-confidence. It’s because they are open which is great, but they may be prone to other people’s influence at times of weakness, when they run on low energy or were contacted by low vibration, or transmuted too much of raw energy. The Oranges can become very depressed as they sometime think like a victim, that if bad things happen to them it’s only about them, as if they were chosen to suffer while others have the right to be free and happy at the same time.

Angelic, unearthly beings related to he Orange Rays are Seraphim and Ophanim, Powers, elementals (ie. Fire Djinns), Dragons, Phoenix, and others who use the element of the Sun, electricity, lightning and fire as their core power (though humans with the essences of ie. Seraphim can also resonate with other colors as well).

When it comes to helpful minerals and gemstones, the Orange Rays will benefit from are those gems which rise and/or protect high vibration (antophyllit, black shiva lingam, vanadite, ruby, red and green garnets, red corral, septarians, pink and brecciated jaspers), anchor own energy (black torumaline, hematite, jasper kambaba), allow for the Universe’s & Gaia’s energy transmutation (black tektite, black onyx, sodalite), keep the mind active, balanced and confident (orange, fire and red calcites, and also calcite with rutile), keep the blood flowing well and digestion stable (agate carnelian, red jasper, hematite, bloodstone, danburite, orange opal, yellow jasper, unakite, tiger’s eye, citrine). Blue and green soothing stones like blue & green calcites, angelite, chrysocola, turquoise, aquamarine, including also white, pink and yellow opals, stilbite and celestine will let them sleep well :) Self-confidence and inner trust will be protected by tiger’s eye, mookait jasper, snowflake and Apache tears obsidians (the latter will siphon all worries and detach from unhappiness, clean them in water sometime). Sodalite will let the Orange Rays detach from the earthy plane to explore the outer zones through their higher heart and the mind’s eye. Red Garnet is perfect to keep the sexual stamina balanced and in place.

When it comes to fashion, the Orange Rays look the best when they underline their natural dynamics, thus sporty clothes may do. Orange also brings authority and leadership so both men and women look good in official suits, or even regimentals. Colors which may make the Orange feel more in tune with themselves are, obviously, orange, but also red, gold and golden, dark or pale green, dark blue, indigo, brown, and brick-like colors too. White will underline their inner independence. Black is the best contrast but only when composed with red or orange as too much of black subdues the Orange Ray’s inner fire and outer shine. The Oranges may avoid magenta and pink colors which damage their natural vibration, and light blue which makes them feel like conflicted, cold, caged and muted. Purple may or may not look good on the Oranges, depending on their physical body traits. It’s always all up to your own preference and feel.

Finally, do Orange Rays mix well with opposite colors? I don’t know. It may be that Twin Flames come from the 2 color ‘families’ - one major which lets them feel the same vibration within and which pulls them together (two Orange or Blue rays, or the ‘closest neighbors’ on the electromagnetic light scale - Orange and Red, Blue and Violet, Green and Yellow), and the other color is added as an opposite to make one twin trigger the other and teach something else ;) Ie. an Orange-Blue + Red-Indigo Rays couple, etc. I’m not en expert in these, but I know I’m Orange-Golden with some traits of Blue or Indigo and my twin is definitely one of the Indigo as not only he loves blue (I don’t) but he also creates art & music so this means he has the Orange or Red Ray’s influence.

Progressively speeding up as we move deeper into the Solar Minimum and yet we have barely begun, the energy we find ourselves in is transforming those consciously aware rapidly, moving through realisations and releases almost hourly compared to how it was not so long ago when “things” would take “time”, of course, we realise that the “time” we took was again part of what required releasing and by releasing the lower aspects of this energy spectrum, the weighted time of the human linear way, it became Divine Time which simply showed the love within the energy, the light, and offers perfection in every moment. To exist in Divine Time is to be in a space of complete surrender, it’s a space where judgement would be self-sacrificing and defense creates internal wounds, Divine Time is the higher conscious view of Saturns playing ground and once you acknowledge our Lord and the rules on the gate he will gift you with the most magical experience as you release the restrictions of the lower octave programming we came to accept and be ruled by.

Breaking Free is a theme of energy that we have been surfing all this year, releasing from the Devil Tarot Card that represents the Capricorn energy, but as we know the Devil represents the low octaves of the human, the machine, the blind and so to use the old unconscious ways of the fear spectrum such as defense and judgment, blame and shame allows those loose chains to remain in place, those chains are not fixed, they are easily removed and so the choice to remain has always been yours.

The resistance creates disharmony, release brings magical celestial harmonics and with these Mars square Saturn and Pluto transits that are now reactivated for the next couple of weeks, the Mars square Saturn lined up yesterday and the Mars square Pluto is heading in now, we are continuing to learn how to ride this wild stallion, although perhaps some have mistakenly picked up the wild bull as it went charging past, see that’s a little different energy, the stallion holds heart, he can be tamed, the bull on the other hand doesn’t seem to hold the ability to connect, has no care, just wants to charge his angry self into every obstruction, and will eventually burn out his energy and most likely refuse to move for quite some time.

Both patterns, both rides are super important, those choosing the charging bull will no doubt learn to catch a ride with the stallion next time around and by that phase the chances are the bull will have allowed you to observe why you chose him, that the walls you had built up around, caked in unconscious belief systems posters and flyers to keep the truth of the wall hidden behind pretty dreamy pictures and fluff dressed in pity MUST come down.

This energy however you choose to move through is evolving us, taking us on lightspeed travels, zipping parts of our minds back into our ancient self, to retrieve data required for the now, and yet the next minute we are travelling with the ancient future self to receive the confirmation because the gems being retrieved are often beyond imagination and require boosts to fully understand the resonance and the codes held.

This means MORE raising of the physical body vibration, more listening to its requirements and acting in the moment as opposed to the old ways of waiting/weighting, which only ever slows us down, ignoring the most subtle signs of the body, even so much as making the request for thirst or hunger dissolve and opting for avoidance tactics signals to the body a lack of interest, a lack of unconditional love, there will be no self healing until EVERYTHING the body says is understood and innerstood, meaning we act upon everything, in the NOW because the now is the space in which we choose, now is The Creator of the ever evolving you.

This Mars energy we are experiencing is such a powerful clearing and creative energy if you understand how it behaves, and once that is understood we realise it is simply our own energy, emanating out from within and using the power of creation to highlight where our creation is not in harmony with our highest aligned timeline, and he is showing us the wounded masculine in its process of healing, as he is hot on the heels of the feminine, Venus, who is just one step ahead, Mars is focused, he is heading out of the underworld where he has been hidden behind the sun and he is now making the most out of this journey, fully aligned, fully committed to begin to unify with the feminine, the wounded masculine within is ready to support, ready to place his energy where it matters, within, to show his Queen her value, the true twin flame within, is ready to merge and become One very powerful light force energy.

What makes this more magical is that Saturn holds no expectation and the lesson is to realise it is the motion that matters, holding the awareness and making steady positive steps, in fact any speed or idea of rushing, pushing or charging ahead will only create an experience to understand patience, and again to step back into the flow of Divine Time allowing this to form so it can show you all the magical light gems along the way, and we don’t want to miss a single one, every light gem is so ridiculously valuable especially during this Dark Moon energy we have been surfing leading into todays Scorpio New Moon, which is opposing Uranus in Taurus, there is the bull again and he is acting rather jumpy with Uranus on his back, taking random turns, bucking and spinning, this is pure expect the unexpected energy, and for the cosmic surfers this is likely to bring a whole heap of new ideas and ways to underpin the new physical body vibrational upgrades you have been focusing on, this is something I noticed just a couple of days ago as myself and Reese, my son, have been adding some rather new and interesting things to our diets to assist on his road to recovery.

What has been interesting to See in this is that there is a reflection of weakness, whilst I don’t have Ankylosing Spondylitis I have become aware we do have weakness in the same area which is why we are now healing this as One body, he is afterall a future version of myself, his template was created during times of dis-ease and of course this becomes the baseline frequency of his genetic makeup, so it makes sense we do this together.

But what this experience has been showing is exactly how this all works, how when you release all fear and restriction, when you listen to the requests of the body, when you care more, when you prioritise Self and plug only into that which nourishes, which incorporates all feeds that enter the field, then the experience becomes nothing short of enlightening and therefore rapid, the moment you release the push and the need what transpires is the flip, the rise and the expansion into new healthFULL experiences and by using the signposts being delivered by our celestial map it becomes an incredibly INjoyable transition.

The Scorpio New Moon energy takes us in deep, it allows so much to be seen and released to begin yet another transformative week that sees us welcoming in the backwards dance of Mercury in Retrograde, we are dredging the pool of Scorpio, we are digging away at the bottom and there will no doubt be more data to be found as ancient relics are unearthed giving us yet more clues as to why we find ourselves here and from these clues we will soon realise new paths opening up for us to journey.

This Mercury Retrograde is coupled with a solar wind prediction, we await the codes heading in and I will be back to translate. Stay present in the heart angels and open into pure acceptance for how the guidance moves us.

I normally don’t post twice in a day on my feed. But today warrants twice. My heart is so sad to hear the Notre Dame in Paris is on fire. One of the places Josh and I honeymooned as newlyweds was Paris and while these aren’t fancy DSLR photos (more like iPhone pictures from 2014), we snapped these while strolling by the Notre Dame. So much history is there in that Cathedral, so to see images of it in flames is devastating.
