Howdy that is me ‼️

Chrysopoeia is a Haikyuu fantasy AU that I left unfinished from 2016, and I read the notes I had for it recently and remembered how much I adored the idea. So I want to pick it back up! The first 2 chapters are here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/5608300

The plot follows different houses of alchemist/magic users based off the different teams in the anime as they work to summon spirits for the crown for an unkown reason, while a revolution begins to brew from rumored spirits that have gone AWOL. Insert court intrigue, magic worldbuilding and whump, and a large web of character connections 💫

As for Hobbit fics!!! I have two projects I'm working on.

1) hello my old heart

This is a canon-compliant fic where Bilbo goes back to the Shire and tries to cope with his loss, along with raising Frodo, and over the years he begins to see the ghosts of three particular dwarves around Bag End. Cue sadness, emotional whump, and some healing squeezed in there hopefully! I've written a few pages for it, but the fic is mostly in the outline stages.

2) Our Future Days AU

This is the BIG BOY!!! It's my grand fix-it AU longfic where nobody dies and Frodo gets raised in Erebor and Bagginshield become girldads via cabbage patch hobbit babies 💫

It's also largely in the planning stages but I've written about 1k into the first chapter. The worldbuilding has been SO MUCH FUN and includes (but not limitied to): one spreadsheet to track ages and events, dozens of reference bookmarks, and a 60+ slide powerpoint to keep track of floor plans/layouts for various locations. I'm......maybe having TOO much fun with the worldbuilding and need someone to kick my ass into gear actually writing it 🥲

So about Taz, I know I all say that I hate OPLA and stuff but now it is not about hating a live action, it is about people dying.

I'm a Palestine supporter, you don't need to ask me twice, if you are not with the Palestine block me, because I don't need those types of people in my blog. "Oh my Israel people are dying too!" And? Guess what, they were the ones who invaded, they were the ones who made countries consider Palestine wrong, they were the ones who made others hate them, they were the ones who started the attacks, started the deaths, if you blame a country for defending itself you are simply stupid.

Yes I feel about the people of Israel, but I could never say I support this "country", Palestine is the real one that needs support.

But the thing I really want to say is

DON'T TRUST IN CELEBRITIES AND PEOPLE IN THE MEDIA IN GENERAL

You know why? Because you DON'T FUCK REALLY KNOW THEM

I swear, you can follow a person for years, AND YOU STILL WILL NOT KNOW THEY!

It's okay you really like someone, you get really happy for them, you like, cure your depression because an actor, IS FINE, OKAY?

But never be so connected with them, never like, really love them, treat them like a perfect person. Because sometimes we think that famous people are perfect and they are not

Famous people are the weakest people for doing shit

So please, you can like a person, but never really trust them

Don't trust people you don't know!

Because when you find out the shit they agree, you are the hurt one

And I know what I'm saying, I almost died when I found out that a YouTuber that I grew up watching was actually a transphobic

So yeah, those people suck, but the less connected we are to them, the less we will suffer

I'm sorry for all Taz fans that are really disappointed with he, and the OPLA fans in general, but I hope this reminds the internet again that famous people are not trustworthy

Rant about the Taz Skylar situation and celebrities in political matters in general

So, I’ve seen a lot of opinions regarding this matter and I wanna share mine.

I believe we’ve reached a point in which we feel entitled to knowing celebrities’ opinions on every matter and make a lot of assumptions when we don’t get them. People forget celebrities, especially actors, are NOT working on political fields and what they give out are OPINIONS. They are regular people who base their opinions on what they read, see, hear. Just like all of us.

Sure, if a celebrity shares an opinion you don’t agree with you have every right to unfollow them, but we need to remember that, in the end, their words are not to be taken as facts or put in pedestals.

Taz could have many reasons not to share his stance on the genocide, and this doesn’t mean that we can assume which side he is on.

I understand the “neutral is taking a side”. But I don’t believe it applies in this case. Taz was not trying to make a political statement, not even proclaiming himself as neutral. People are the ones assuming this. We have no way of knowing what he actually thinks and he has every right to keep that to himself. If this is enough for you to want to unfollow him, go ahead. That is respectable. But we can’t force him to give his stance on the matter when his job could be compromised.

Also, he is actually raising money to help several causes. Including the people affected in Palestine. Which I’m sure is a lot more than most people who comment are doing.

Celebrities can’t share their stances and views on every single matter. And we can’t force them to. We shouldn’t. If you ask and they decide not to answer, there’s a reason. Just because they don’t openly say what they think doesn’t mean they’re not doing something to help. If we applied this way of thinking for everything, then we’d all have to have active and open opinions on EVERYTHING. And that is unfair as well as unrealistic.

If Taz or any other celebrity openly decides to talk about this matter and they turn out to be zionists, of course I will be one of the people unfollowing them and removing my support. But I will not assume what their stance is if they don’t share it, even if I would love to know. Because I’m not entitled to knowing.

Taz is just a person. And what he thinks is his own. If he decides to share, then we can decide if we want to support him or not. But until that happens, stop forcing him to give out his opinion.

Because celebrities’ opinions ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT. Yes, they can be powerful, they can influence. But only if we take them so seriously.

"dad?"

eddie looks up from his book at where his daughter is standing in the doorway to his bedroom. it's late in the evening, a little past ten. she's already dressed for bed; one of eddie's old anthrax t-shirts and pajama pants.

the look on her face and the way she's using the door frame to hide herself tells eddie there's something wrong.

"you alright, sweetheart?" he asks, setting aside his book and patting the space beside him. she immediately goes, crawling in next to him like she's still seven years old and not almost seventeen. jesus, eddie thinks, his little girl is growing up right before his eyes and he can't do a damn thing to stop it. she curls into his side and rests her head on his shoulder.

she's quiet, which isn't out of the norm for her, but she's clutching onto the front of his shirt like a lifeline. eddie combs his fingers through her curly hair and smiles as he feels her slowly relax.

"you wanna talk about it?" he asks softly, kissing the top of her head.

more silence.

"when..." her voice is small as she speaks, nervous as she takes a shaky breath. "when did you realize you were different?"

the question surprises him. it doesn't take a genius to figure out what she means. when she was born, eddie vowed never to keep any secrets from her, including the ones that could be considered confusing for a four year old kid asking why she didn't have a mom like the other kids in her class.

still, he needs to be sure so he can quell the curiosity growing in his chest.

"different as in...?"

she huffs and rolls her eyes, not unkindly, and puffs out her cheeks, not meeting his gentle gaze. "when did you realize you were trans?"

oh.

eddie's eyes widen. he feels like a cold bucket of water was just dumped on him. his brain kind of shuts off for a few seconds because that definitely wasn't the question he was expecting. he clears his throat and shifts slightly.

"well..." he starts, thinking back. "i was around your age, i think. maybe a little older. why? is that something you're thinking about, maybe, exploring?"

he looks down at her and his heart breaks at the tears welling in her eyes. "hey, look at me." he cups her cheek and turns her face toward him. her bottom lip wobbles as she finally looks at him, her green meeting his brown.

he holds her face in both hands like she's the most precious thing in the world. "you know you can talk to me, right? about anything, especially about this." he waits for her nod. "and you know that there is nothing in this world, and i mean nothing, that will make me love you any less, you hear me?"

he thumbs away the tears that stain her cheeks and he's not far behind, himself.

she sniffles and takes a sharp inhale, her eyes still wet and her voice unsteady, "i think...i think i might be a boy."

a fierceness alights in eddie like he hasn't felt in a long time. he beams down at her proudly. "okay. what do you want to do about it?"

she frowns. "i...i don't know yet."

"that's alright," he tells her. "sometimes just putting a name to the feeling is enough for that moment. but when you're ready, i'll be here to help you figure it out."

that brings on a new wave of tears from the both of him and they laugh as they wipe away each other's tears. they settle down into bed, the unspoken agreement that she's bunking with him tonight like she used to when she was little.

just before he shuts off the light, she says quietly from where she's burrowed under the blankets, "i love you, dad."

eddie kisses the top of her head and lays down beside her. "i love you, too, baby."

Just finished the Stanley parable fully and bro wtf was that 😭 I’m literally so sad I honestly didn’t think anything could top the zen ending but nah that skip ending and the epilogue actually killed me IM DEAD!

Anyways In my fantasy the skip ending never happened (well the first part did the whole skip button simply never existed🥰) Narrator is with Stanley hanging out in his little gay cottage chilling and learns he doesn’t have to take criticism to heart and they live happily and I refuse to believe otherwise!!!
