Kiwi
Pairing: VRVR’s Hoyoung x OC [Chaewon] Genre: college!au, slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 1,130 Summary: Hoyoung buys a kiwi drink for Chaewon thinking it's her favorite fruit and flavor, but really the kiwi that she likes is something different and more like a person than a thing.
Warning: semi-proofread
hihi! back with another VERIVERY story featuring the lovely Hoyoung this time around as the main! saw them in concert again and they were so amazing!! hope to see them again and hope they have fun on this tour, too!! really proud of their journey so far and hope they continued to grow and gain more fans!! anyways, my sister fell for his Kiwi accent and that he has dimples so yeah that's why this story had been written xD anyways that’s about it so yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Chaewon entered her early morning class, sat somewhere in the mid-section of the room to the far right side with a yawn, and waited for class to start. While getting out her materials, she heard a familiar voice greet her as well as something soft being placed onto the table in front of her. Chaewon looked up to see one of her classmates, Hoyoung, smiling at her before glancing at the light green bubble tea drink he bought her..
"Good morning, Chaewon."
"Morning to you, too, Hoyoung."
Hoyoung took the seat beside her as she slightly tilted her head at the drink.
'What's this?"
"A kiwi yogurt boba for you."
"Oh, but you didn't have to get me one."
"I know, but I remembered hearing that you really like kiwis and saw this new flavor and thought of you when I was getting one."
"Oh, I see, but kiwi is okay. I don't really like it like that so I'm not that into it. Thanks though."
Hoyoung's brows furrowed.
"But I remember hearing you tell your sister that you like kiwi a lot the other day."
Chaewon had a realization that Hoyoung had heard right, but the 'kiwi' she was referring to was totally something else.
"Oh, um, that. Yeah, I guess I really do like kiwi then."
Chaewon flashed him a small smile as she immediately turned away and took a sip of the drink for a distraction. Hoyoung still stared at her curiously before bringing out his own materials and taking a sip of his own bubble tea. Chaewon reached for her phone, snapped a photo of the drink, and sent it to her sister with a few words. She hoped that Hoyoung wouldn't find out the real meaning of her liking for 'kiwi'.
"So, the real kiwi you like is me?"
Chaewon heard a moment later with the words she didn't want to hear coming out of Hoyoung's mouth. She slowly turned her attention towards him, keeping calm.
"Um, no? Why do you say that?"
Hoyoung grinned cutely as he held up his phone for her to see.
"You just messaged me just now."
"I did not. I messaged my sister."
"You may wanna double check that, Chaewon."
She could tell he was enjoying this, but tried to play off the whole thing.
"I'm sure you're just reading something else, Hoyoung."
Hoyoung quoted her words that she had supposedly sent her sister instead of him. Chaewon had used English and so heard Hoyoung speaking in English with his New Zealand's accent which is also known as a Kiwi accent.
"Bro, Kiwi bought me this thinking that I really like kiwi when I was actually talking about him when we ta-"
"Okay. Okay. Stop."
Chaewon reached over to push his phone and hands down with an embarrassed look while speaking in English, but reverted back to Korean.
"We can talk later after class."
"Okay." Hoyoung agreed with a chuckle before casting her a sweet look.
"How about we get lunch, too?"
"Sure."
Honestly, Chaewon only responded to just wanting to get the whole thing to be done and over with. Meanwhile, Hoyoung's outlook on it seemed more positive compared to hers. So, maybe that's why a few seconds later Chaewon decided to quickly pack up her things, grabbed the boba, and left class in a hurry without a glance towards a puzzled Hoyoung. Walking briskly down the open corridors, Chaewon debated on where to go and what to do. Should she return to the dorms and rant to her sister? Should she go get a late breakfast to eat her way out of this? Should she just try to avoid Hoyoung until graduation and hope that it would work out eventually? Chaewon had no clue and got distracted with her thoughts that she wasn't aware that Hoyoung had caught up to her.
"Chaewon."
He caught her by her backpack and the two momentarily stopped in their tracks.
"I thought we were supposed to have lunch after class. Hmm?"
"Oh, were we?"
Chaewon replied in a nonchalant manner while turning around to face him.
"I don't remember."
She sheepishly laughed as she tried to pull away, but Hoyoung kept a firm grip on her backpack.
"Chaewon."
He said her name in such a calm, but firm manner which caused her to stay put.
"Yes, Hoyoung?"
He cast her with a gentle and sweet look.
"Is it that bad that I know that you like me?"
"No, but it's not the way that I wanted you to find out."
"Would you have told me though?"
"Maybe?"
Chaewon shrugged with a sheepish laugh. Hoyoung sighed, but a small chuckle escaped his lips.
"So I was never gonna learn about you referring to me as Kiwi, too?"
"Yeah, but Kiwi is just a code word between Chaeyeon and I so no one else beside us two would have known."
The corners of Hoyoung's lips quirk upwards.
"Oh, I see. So who's Angular and Long Face then?"
Chaewon scoffed.
"Like I would tell you."
She shot him a suspicious look.
"Have you been eavesdropping in on our conversations?"
"I try not to, but you and Chaeyeon have a lot of inside jokes that's hard to not listen."
"Wow. That's just wow."
Chaewon shook her head, talking to herself more than to him.
"She and I really need to not talk so much."
"For what it's worth, at least now I know."
"True, but then again, it's something that I didn't want you to know."
"Chaewon."
The way he said her name now did something to her like before. It felt different on previous occasions and she wasn't sure why it changed now.
"Yes, Hoyoung?"
She cast him with curious eyes wondering what he wanted and wondered how all of this will turn out like in the end.
"So," Hoyoung began with a soft look, "How about that talk? I was serious about lunch, too."
Chaewon sighed deeply before nodding.
"I guess since it's already out in the open and it's not like you're gonna let me go any time soon."
"Good. Because I was hoping this would count as our official first date."
"Official first date?"
"Mmhmm."
Hoyoung nodded with a dimpled smile while speaking his next words in English.
"I like you, too, Chaewon."
Her heart swooned upon hearing that Kiwi accent of his, but she didn't want him to know that. Well, for now, that is although she had a feeling he already knew it anyway. She shyly smiled at him before using her free hand to take his hand that held onto her backpack.
"C'mon, let's go. It's getting kind of weird talking for this long in the campus' corridors."
Hoyoung smiled, allowing Chaewon to lead the both of them.

Tout est une illusion

Despite of the unfortunate events happening to most of the tributes, one of them remained calm and happy. He still played tricks on the others, as if there was nothing wrong. He was still his old bubbly self that never took things seriously. As the youngest of the group, he was always the one that the others put their attention on. And this demeanour of his didn't go unnoticed by Seokmin.
"Are you seriously acting like nothing is wrong Kwanie? Or are you playing blind so it doesn't affect you? Do you not feel any negative feelings about the recent happenings? To me? To Joshua Hyung? To Woozi hyung? Or are you not concerned that Jeonghan hyung has been missing for at least two days?" The oracle questioned calmly, although it was obvious that Seokmin was getting a bit offended with the younger's actions.
"Oh not at all. Things like that happens and we just need to deal with it or ignore it. So here I am, ignoring it because there's nothing I can do to be honest." Seungkwan shrugged. "Plus, my life is perfect so why would I burden myself with this?" The trickster says before rolling his eyes and just walking away from the Oracle who was caught of guard.
Who could blame him? He didn't want any stress to keep him from living his happy and perfect life where he had all the things he wanted.
But little did they know...
He had no parents like how he told them. He had no mansion, no perfect friends, he had nothing. Yet he managed to keep up this façade of his.
Well, he is a trickster after all.
And behind the confident and proud Seungkwan that everyone knew, was a troubled and broken trickster that hid behind a perfect illusion of himself. He was deeply affected of what happened to his members and he didn't want to cause others more pain and burden from how immense the events had affected him.
He's been at it for days...
The Illusion will be breaking soon...

Jihoon was distraught. First it was Seokmin, then Joshua, then him. Next will be seungkwan. And lastly their leader?
He couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't bear to see his members, that was like brothers to him; be hurt anymore. And now one of them are in critical stage and could pass at any moment; it drove him insane.
He can't let this happen. He can't.
Not again.
The memories. The memories. The memories.
They're coming back again.
He wants them to stop.
[5 years ago]
Jihoon was out in the woods with his little brother. Training their powers together. "Jihoon hyung, I wanna train as much as I can! I wanna be part of the match when I grow older so I can show how strong I am!" His brother, who had the ability to control all things with magnetic components, had dreamed about the décès match for as long as he could remember.
And so they did train. Everyday at the same time and place in the forest. But his brother mentioned about this tugging sensation on him. Like it was pulling him deep into the forest. His little brother said he'd check it out for a bit and that Jihoon could go after if he wanted to. The attacker was tired so he decided to stay and wait for his brother to come back.
20 minutes passed and his brother was still not back. Jihoon stood up and followed to where he saw him going, as he got deeper into the forest, the crunching sound in the air was getting louder. And to his shock, he discovered his brother, levitating in the middle of the air, surrounded by big and small debris; his face had a blank expression and his eyes were ghostly white.
And in a split second, he fell.
Power limit. Power limit. Power limit.
Jihoon snapped out of his trance as a doctor shook him, informing him that Joshua had been doing better and he's almost reached consciousness.
The attacker was relieved.
He didn't want to lose another brother to the power limit.
Never again.

background .
has  fully  grown  up  on  the  island  obviously  ..  but  only  with  his  mother
father  was  never  in  the  picture.  he  was  the  human  that  made  the  halfie.  his  father  actually  fuckin  bolted  when  he  found  out  the  whole  sprite  shit  since  his  mother  was  able  to  hide  it  well  enough
like  of  course  it  was  real  love,  but  men  change  their  minds  like  the  seasons  and  they  also  are  just  trash
after  he  left,  his  mother  was  tasked  with  raising  him  on  her  own.  that  would  prove  to  be  no  easy  feat  as  kieran  was  born  with  human  ears  ..  a  clear  indicator  he  was  half  human
no  one  had  known  his  father  was  a  human,  she  would’ve  been  disowned  by  her  family  and  the  community  around  her.  so,  without  knowing  whether  kieran  would  show  signs  of  sprite  nature  ..  she  did  what  she  had  to  do
that  meant  when  he  was  a  child,  she’d  brought  him  to  someone  and  got  his  ears  cut  into  a  point  ..  ain’t  that  lovely  ..
anyways  !  he  grew  up  thinking  he  was  100%  sprite  and  he  knows  he’s  not  now,  but  we’ll  get  to  that  in  a  second.  he  doesn’t  know  what  happened  to  his  father,  his  mother  doesn’t  ever  talk  about  it  and  he’s  too  scared  to  ask  her
growing  up  he  definitely  felt  like  he  was  missing  something  or  like  there  was  something  up  w  him  ..  he  always  just  kind  of  blamed  himself  for  his  father  leaving  ?  which  is  the  truth  ,  he  just  doesn’t  know  for  sure,  even  to  this  day
kieran  had  never  felt  like  he’s  belonged,  like  he  didn’t  feel  quite  right  with  other  sprites.  they  could  do  a  lot  of  stuff  he  couldn’t  plus  he  never  heard  of  a  half-human,  half-sprite  before  ..  his  mother  definitely  sheltered  him  from  a  lot  of  things,  so  he  wouldn’t  ask  questions
in  her  defense,  she  did  it  to  protect  him.  she  only  wanted  what  was  best  for  her  baby  as  kieran  was  her  whole  world  and  still  is
grew  up  without  many  friends.  honestly  didn’t  have  more  than  two  probably  ..  he  was  the  subject  of  bullying  growing  up  and  it’s  definitely  taken  it’s  toll  on  him  to  this  day
wouldn’t  really  understand  why  despite  always  feeling  like  he  was  different
however,  despite  all  that  he  was  still  a  pretty  lively  kid.  like  he  was  always  down  to  chat  with  new  people  and  get  to  know  them,  he  was  just  selective  about  who  he  let  close  to  him
he  was  lively  until  he  found  out  from  accidentally  overhearing  his  mother  talk  to  someone  that  he  was  only  half-sprite
mind  u  this  was  when  he  was  in  high  school,  so  he  spent  the  whole  of  his  life  being  lied  to  and  despite  loving  his  mother  a  lot,  he  felt  betrayed
that  info  only  solidified  how  he  had  felt  like  he  doesn’t  belong  anywhere
he  pulled  back  a  bit  from  his  mother,  they’re  still  close  and  what  not  but  not  as  close  ..  pulled  back  from  a  lot  of  people  actually  nd  his  whole  demeanor  sort  of  changed  and  put  a  wall  between  him  and  the  rest  of  the  world
UH  idk  what  else  to  write.  he’s  just  a  kind  of  angsty  and  lonely  little  guy  who  doesn’t  feel  like  he  belongs  anywhere  !
PERSONALITY:
very  reserved  ..  he’s  not  super  fond  of  being  around  other  sprites,  definitely  is  not  fond  of  being  around  humans  ..  they  scare  him  a  lot
he’s  got  the  kindest  heart.  he  wants  to  take  care  of  and  provide  for  other  beings  so  bad  ..  especially  animals
extremely  selfless,  boy  will  not  do  anything  for  himself  nd  will  drop  what  he’s  doing  to  help.  also  sort  of  makes  him  a  lil  gullible  ..  easy  to  use
kieran  is  easily  flustered,  he’s  probably  blushing  and  smiling  and  giggling  about  70%  of  the  time  ..  so  do  w  that  what  u  will
clumsy  ..  so  clumsy  like  he  has  two  left  feet
despite  being  super  reserved,  he’s  still  very  smiley  and  bubbly.  does  want  to  get  to  know  other  people  but  sort  of  doesn’t  know  how  to  as  he  one.  doesn’t  think  he’s  interesting  enough  and  two.  he’s  shy  ..
has  a  lot  of  trust  issues  and  abandonment  issues
he  does  not  want  u  to  get  to  know  him  in  fear  that  u  will  leave  him  like  his  father  or  think  he  doesn’t  belong  anywhere  because  he’s  only  half  of  both
he’s  so  touch  starved  please  cuddle  him
is  an  easy  crier  ..  just  soft  hearted  and  wears  it  on  his  sleeve
extras .
he’s  a  5′10″  big  ..  baby  ..  a  big  ole  puppy
him  and  his  mother  own  an  animal  shelter  in  town  called  endless  pawsabilities  !  the  establishment  and  the  animals  themselves  are  his  babies  ..
he  feels  super  comfortable  around  animals,  a  lot  of  it  has  to  do  with  his  animal  sprite  nature.  they  tend  to  be  his  best  friends  ..  which  has  branded  him  as  the  weirdo  because  he  talks  to  his  pets
he’s  a  big  romantic  and  idealist,  loves  the  idea  of  love  and  everything  in  between.  honestly  daydreams  about  it,  but  thinks  it’s  absolutely  unrealistic  because  who  would  like  him  when  he’s  him
he  loves  coffee  and  tea,  will  drink  coffee  in  the  morning  and  tea  before  settling  in  for  the  night
loves  big  sweaters  and  being  warm  and  toasty  ...  loves  a  good  cuddle  😔
there’s  still  feeling  in  his  ears  ..  they’re  just  very  sensitive  and  he  will  NOT  show  his  ears  to  anyone  ..  he’s  very  ashamed  of  them  and  thinks  they’re  ugly  so  his  hair  is  covering  them  100%  of  the  time
oh  uh  he  don’t  really  pay  much  attention  to  the  sprite  world  ..  he’s  so  like  secluded  ever  since  he  found  out  so  ..
wanted plots .
he’s  not  experienced  much  but  perhaps  an  ex  or  an  almost  something  could  be  kind  of  fun  to  play  with  ..
a  best  friend  !  give  him  someone  he  trusts  wholeheartedly  and  like  the  only  person  he  does
owo  maybe  a  bad  influence  on  him  like  he’s  not  one  to  break  the  rules  or  get  out  of  his  own  bubble,  but  someone  who  kinda  pushes  him  too
he  doesn’t  get  annoyed  often  but  perhaps  annoy  the  shit  out  of  him  or  like  have  him  annoy  the  shit  outta  ur  muse  because  he’s  just.  like  that  u  feel
be  a  regular  at  the  animal  shelter  ..  like  a  volunteer  or  sumn  nd  be  his  friend  nd  let  him  get  excited  to  see  u  excited  abt  the  animals
oh  someone  be  his  bully  KMDKSMK  or  just  be  fuckin  mean  to  him
i  got  NOTHIN  else  ..  my  brain  is  empty  so  will  100%  vibe  w  whatever  and  work  that  shit  to  death  individually

[12:00pm] at BamBam’s
Hello all! Admin Minnie coming to bring you a little something, just to give you a little snippet of what you can get! I hope you like it!
[11:30pm] - Stray Kids Dorm
“You’ll never know if you don’t ask her!” Minho throws another pillow over at Hyunjin “I’m sure she likes you too!”
“I don’t know.” Hyunjin covers his head in the blanket “I can’t just go up to her and be like ‘oh hi Y/N I think your beautiful will you go out with me?’ That’s to embarrassing!”
“Uhm... is that not how you ask a girl out?” Minho throws the last of his pillows at Hyunjin “Tomorrow you are going to ask her out!”
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
“Shut up and go to sleep!” Minho collects his pillows and goes to sleep “if he won’t do anything about it... I will.”
[8:45am] -The Next Morning-
All the members of Stray Kids gathered in the dance room awaiting their choreographer. Jeongin and Hyunjin sitting on the floor stretching,
“So Hyung are you going to ask her out?!”
“Wha?” Hyunjin eyes go wide “I don’t know what your talking about.”
“No he’s going to chicken out again.” Felix laughed “Hrs going to miss his chance if he doesn’t just ask her out.”
“Who’s asking who out?” Their choreographer comes in “Enough chitchat let’s get started.”
[9:45pm] -After Practice-
The boys all sit in JYP’s cafeteria and converse with GOT7 and DAY6.
“Wonpil hyung!” Minho taps him on the shoulder “Can you tell Hyunjin to stop being a baby and ask Y/N out.”
Everyone stops their talking and looks at Hyunjin who turned light pink.
“Hyunjin... is there something you want to say?” Young K and Jackson get up and stand behind him “Awww he has the crush on Y/N!!”
“I do not.” Hyunjin puts his head down “She doesn’t even like me.”
“Have you asked her?” Yugyeom asks “You won’t know if you don’t ask.”
“THATS WHAT I SAID!” Minho throws his hands in the air
“I don’t think she’s here today,” Bang Chan says “She’s usually with reception when we get here, but she wasn’t.”
“Oh, I think JYP hyung asked her to help ITZY today!” Felix shot up out of his seat “She’s their new assistant choreographer! We can go ask her now!”
“No, you just want to learn their dance!” Woojin pulls Felix’s arm “We all have the day off, so why don’t we all just hang out together.”
“Sounds great!” BamBam agreed “We can all gather at my dorm, I have more than enough space!”
“Okay, does noon sound good?” Asks Woojin
Everyone agrees to meet at BamBam’s dorm around noon. Except DAY6 will not be joining since they have rehearsal for their show this weekend. Bang Chan and Han go up to ITZY’s practice room to see if anyone them would like to tag along.
“Okay ladies, that’s all for today.” Y/N takes a drink of her water “We will continue on Thursday!”
“Thank you very much for helping Y/N!” Yeji gives her a hug
“It’s no problem.” The Door opens and in comes Bang Chan and Han “Oh hi Chan oppa, hi Han. Finished with practice.”
“Yeah we wanted to see if any of you wanted to hang out with us and GOT7 tomorrow.” Han asks “We will be meeting at BamBam hyung’d dorm.”
“I wish we could.” Ryujin frowns
“We have a photo shoot tomorrow for our profiles.” Lia steps forward “I think they start at 1:30pm.”
“Aww no fair!” Han pouts “Maybe next time.”
“What about you Y/N?” Bang Chan asks
“I can go!” She smiles “I miss hanging out with you guys!”
“Awesome, he moved to a bigger dorm so I’ll send you the address.” Bang Chan waves and leaves the practice room
“Do you know all of the groups here?” Yeji asks
Y/N turns around and nods “Yeah pretty much, my uncle is JYP.”
“WHAAAAAA!” They all squeak “That’s so cool!”
“Yeah I guess.” She shrugs “I’ll see you guys later! I look forward to seeing pictures!”
[10:30pm] -At Stray Kid’s Dorm-
“OH MY GOSH SHES WHAT!” Hyunjin stares at Bang Chan
“Yeah, I asked if she and ITZY wanted to hang out and Y/N said yes but ITZY has promotional things.” Bang Chan says sipping his water “Do you not want her to come?”
“No no no no.” Hyunjin rapidly shakes his head “Just... never mind.” Hyunjin disappers into his room
“He’s like... so whipped.” Seungmin laughs and continues to play the heated battle of checkers with Jeongin
[12:00pm] -The Next Day-
BamBam moved a few couches into a spare bedroom and finished making his many food items for his guest to arrive.
With the sound of the front door opening, “Welcome!” He bows “To my home.”
Yugyeom walks up to him and slaps him on the head “Stop being privileged!”
“Okay okay.” He laughs “Let me show you around.”
He shows his guest the bathrooms, basement (game room) and where he put his cats.
“Your places is noice!” Said Felix
“Thank you.” BamBam points to the basement door “Wanna go down into the basement? I kind of promised Felix & Minho we can play a few random dance games to start the evening.”
“YAAAAAY!” Both Felix And Minho high five and skip down the stairs “Let’s be on TEEEEAAMS!”
“Okay.” Jinyoung does a head count “Oh... Y/N isn’t here yet.”
“She should be on her way yeah?” Mark asked
Han pulled Felix and Minho close “if my maths is correct there’s 17 of us. Meaning there has to be a group of 3.”
Felix raised his groups hands “WE VOULENTEER AS TRIBUTE TO BE THE GROUP OF 3 SO HYUNJIN CAN BE WITH Y/N!”
“What!”
“Fine with me.” Jinyoung shrugs “Hyunjin call Y/N and make sure she’s okay.”
With that everyone heads into the basement leaving Hyunjin alone. “What just happened?”
He plops down on the couch and takes his phone out. Looking at her contact he takes a deep breath before hitting the call button and littering it ring.
Y/N: Hiiiii Hyunjin!!!
He blushes a little...
Hyunjin: Hi Y/N. Are you on your way?
Y/N: Yeah, the pupperz got out. He’s in the car right now.
Hyunjin: You’re bring your dog?
Y/N: *giggling* No silly. My brother is driving me. I’m actually here now... wanna opens the door?
Hyunjin springs off the couch and to the door, he sees someone wave and walk down the stairs.
Y/N smiles “Hi Hyunjin.”
“H-Hi Y/N.”
She walks inside, “His new place is awesome!”
“Yeah, a lot bigger.”
“Where is everyone?”
“There in the basement.” He points to the door behind him “They should be playing a random dance play right now. You and I are on a team together.”
“What are we waiting for!” She grabs his hand and runs down the stairs.
The only light source in the room comes from the disco lights and the huge projector. You can see Felix, Minho and Han dancing to Dance The Night Away. You both stop in between Jackson and Young K.
“Heeey Y/N!” You give Young K a hug “I thought you stood us up.”
“Never!”
“Good cause your team is up next!” Jackson pushes the both of you towards the center
You play dance and laugh at each other as the rest of them cheer you on. You make fun of each other as you both clearly don’t take the game seriously and dance your hearts out.
After all the groups finished, everyone went back upstairs to enjoy the foods BamBam prepared for them. Everyone broke off into little groups and sat with each other, some outside and some inside. You and Hyunjin are in the kitchen.
“Y/N..”
“Yeah,” You take another bite out of your watermelon
“I-I have something to tell you.” He looked everywhere else but at you
“Are you leaving me!!” You eyes go wide “Your leaving the company aren’t you.”
“No no no..” He fumbles with hid thumb “i’m not leaving the company.”
“Okay good.” You laugh a little “Are you okay? You look a little pink.” setting your watermelon down, you walk up to Hyunjin “Are you sick? Should I go Jinyoung oppa?”
You turn to run out the kitchen but Hyunjin takes a hold of your wrist and pulls you into him. He hugs you really close  “ithinkyouarereallyprettyandwillyougoonadatewithme.” He says in one breath
You pull away out of the hug a little and giggle “Was that words?” You pinch his cheek “Try again but slower.”
He clears his throat “ I think you are really pretty and will you go on a date wi-with me?”
You just stare at face and just blink “You..wanna go on a date...with me?”
He nods his head “Ye-Yeah.”
You blush a little and look away, from the corner of your eye you see movement. You giggle “We’re being watched.” you whisper
“It’s okay.” Hyunjin shrug “So..uhm when would you like to go on..the date?”
“Hmm...” You shrug “I’ve never been on a date before, aren’t you supposed to come up with the plans?”
“NOT ALL THE TIME!” You hear Jackson yell. Everyone starts to hush him
Jinyoung peeks his head into the kitchen “Sorry babies, please continue.”
You and Hyunjin look at each other and laugh “Uhm, how about when we have our next off day?” Hyunjin asks “It’ll be a surprise on where we go?”
“Okay.” You give Hyunjin a kiss on the cheek and go back to eating your watermelon.

Pairing: ZZTx OC [Ruohua] Genre: slice of life, slight angst, slight fluff Word Count: 3,148 Summary: Zhengting isn’t a very attentive boyfriend, or well much a boyfriend to Ruohua as of late and she’s beginning to think if the heartaches are worth it over loneliness. soft angsts starters
Warning: although more angst it still has a good ending. lol i think that’s about it. i don’t know much about others’ perspective of relationship and of other females’ view on it as well except my own. the beginning bit is just based on the music video and song that i get from it.
My eighth request! I’m surprise at myself for getting these requests out tbh with you. Hopefully I can get to the others and finished them all as to not make you lovely anons wait too long. Anyways, this story was actually not going to be with this request prompt, but I don’t like unhappy endings and so wrote more to give me that good ending. So this was inspired by the song ไม่ชอบอยู่คนเดียว by PREEN and Stevie Hoang’s Don’t Wanna Fall Asleep. The first song translates to Don’t Like Being Alone. Happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Girls don't like being alone. They don't like being neglected or left alone to think unhappy thoughts. Girls don't like to suffer and dislike being forgotten. They don't like it when you don't care about them or don't know anything about them. Girls don't like it when you're not around to give them that sense of safety, security, and protection. They don't like it when you don't give them a call or a message just to let them know that you're thinking about them or even missing them. Girls just don't like being lonely, ever. If a girl had to choose to be heartbroken or being alone, then she would rather choose to be heartbroken. Because it's easier to deal with a broken heart than facing loneliness alone since it's solitary as it is. Eventually though over time it wears them down. So how much longer can they endure heartaches before turning to loneliness in the end?
"Hello?"
"Hey, Ting! Where are you?" Ruohua asked her boyfriend, Zhengting. "I'm standing outside your apartment right now."
"Oh, hey, Ruohua. I'm not home right now. I'm out with the guys." Zhengting answered before getting distracted on his end. "Hey, I'll call you back, alright, after I finish the game with the boys. Bye!"
Zhengting hung up on her as Ruohua stared at the blank mobile device with a sad sigh before slipping the cell into her back pocket. She hung the gift bag she had prepared earlier that week on his apartment door while stuffing the pig plush doll against it.
"I guess you did forget about it in the end, huh?" Ruohua muttered to herself while petting the stuffed toy. "I guess playing with your friends is more important than celebrating our anniversary."
"Guess who?" Ruohua playfully whispered into Zhengting's ears while covering his eyes with her hands in the process upon coming up from behind him at the cafe they were meeting at for their day date.
"Um, Cheng Xiao?" Zhengting guessed with a nervous laugh as Ruohua chuckled quietly. "Nope. Guess again."
"Well, there's Jinger, no?"
"Not even close. C'mon, it's easy. You should know."
"Hmm, Zhang Xi? Oh, maybe Meiqi? Oh, wait, no. Xuanyi?" Zhengting guessed while throwing out possible names of who it could be. "I think it's Junya or Ruihan?"
"Wrong again like five times, Zhengting." Ruohua smiled with a shake of her head while still covering his eyes. "One more chance and it's not that hard. C'mon now."
There was a long pause as Zhengting really pondered on who the mystery woman could be and Ruohua frown hoping her boyfriend was just teasing her.
"We were just talking earlier just now."
"Oh, did we?" Zhengting let out in confusion. "Who could you be then?"
Ruohua was about to end the game when she heard Zhengting speaking again.
"Oh! I know who you are!" Zhengting smiled as Ruohua waited.
"Mena, right!
Zhengting exclaimed happily as he grabbed onto Ruohua's hands and removed them from his eyes to turn his head to look at her. "Oh, Ruohua, it's just you."
Ruohua frowned, but Zhengting didn't notice as he turned his attention away from her while motioning for his girlfriend to take a seat.
"Ain't gonna lie, that was pretty hard, Ruohua."
Ruohua reluctantly took a seat across from Zhengting and gave him a look.
"We just spoke like five minutes ago, Ting. Also we've known one another for at least like five years now and dated for more than a year."
Zhengting shrugged while casting her a sheepish look. "I guess I'm not good at recogizing voices."
Before Ruohua could counter the waiter appeared and had brought them drinks that Zhengting had ordered ahead of time.
"Well, if it makes you feel better, Ruohua, I ordered your favorite drink!" He said while handing Ruohua her favorite drink and taking his own in his hand. "I've already paid so don't worry about it, but I gotta get going though." He suddenly announced while standing up. "Wenjun and I have this project due tomorrow and we're behind."
"But what about our date?"
"We'll have another one later this week. I promise."
Zhengting gave Ruohua a quick kiss to the cheek before leaving the cafe as Ruohua's eyebrows furrowed and her expression sour.
"You were the one that planned this and have postponed it twice already within the month. When are we going to have a proper date?"
She let out another sigh as she gazed at here 'favorite' drink that Zhengting had just bought her.
"It would be my favorite drink if you had ordered the right one, Ting." Ruohua mumbled. "I like winter-melon and almond milk tea. Not the matcha green milk tea."
Ruohua let out a sigh as she took the drink while shaking it before drinking it. Even if she didn't like the flavor, she didn't like wasting food the most.
"Ruohua, hey! This is Jieqiong. She's my partner for dance class. And Jieqiong this is my..." Zhengting introduced the younger female to his girlfriend yet he seemed like he blanked out on that information of Ruohua while introducing her to Jieqiong.
"Hey, Jieqiong. I'm Zhengting's girlfriend, Ruohua. Nice to meet you." Ruohua introduced herself instead while shaking hands with Jieqiong.
"Wow, you're so pretty. Zhengting didn't mention he had a girlfriend." Jieqiong commented innocently, but for some reason this stung Ruohua a bit.
"Yeah, we've been dating for more than a year now, but have known one another for like five."
"Aww, that's lovely and super cool. I'm totally surprised I didn't meet you first compare to his friends though, Ruohua." Jieqiong stated as Zhengting rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Well, the opportunity never showed up until now."
"Right, I see." Ruohua said as she looked from Zhengting to Jieqiong. "I guess I'll get going and leave you two to finish your routine. I still have to visit the library to finish my paper. It was nice meeting you, Jieqiong. See you later, Ting."
Ruohua waved them goodbyes while giving them smiles before leaving the dance room with a tired look.
"How long can I keep this up until I can't anymore?"
The couple attended their friend, Kaihao's, birthday dinner at a HaiDiLao. Sitting around the large circular table of twenty and plus others, everyone was enjoying themselves. Eating, laughing, and telling jokes and stories. Some time later the conversation shifted and the atmosphere between them all grew awkward due to an innocent question by one of their friends.
"Hey, Zhengting, Where's your girlfriend?" Linong asked although Ruohua was sitting right next to Zhengting. "Did Jieqiong have something else to do?"
Ruohua was taken aback by the thought that Linong assumed she wasn't Zhengting's girlfriend and that Jieqiong was. They've been somewhat friends or something like that for two years now.
"NongNong, she's his girlfriend." Linkai pointed at Ruohua. "That's Ruohua. Remember? Jieqiong was only his dance partner for class."
"Oh, my. That's embarrassing. I'm so sorry about that." Linong apologized while looking at Ruohua and then at Jeffrey sitting on her other side. "I thought you were Jeffrey's girlfriend because you two were talking a lot with one another throughout dinner."
Ruohua just cast Linong a polite smile while excusing herself as she took her things and didn't bother to look at the rest of them. Somehow that question turned her off from enjoying the rest of the night and didn't want to spoil it with her sour mood because of it. Ruohua took a breather out front and tried to gather herself before going back inside. She didn't want them to think it affected her too much causing them all to become awkward with it. Looking towards the night sky with a heavy heart, Ruohua let out another breath before turning around to walk back inside the restaurant, but Zhengting was already making his way towards her.
"Hey, Ruohua, are you okay?"
He held her shoulders while looking at he with a worried look.
"Yeah, Zhengting, just peachy."
She mustered up a small smile.
"I hope you're not upset with NongNong about what had just happened. It's not really that big of a deal to be worked up about."
Ruohua's small smile disappeared and she looked at her boyfriend tiredly and annoyed.
"Not a big deal, Ting. Really? Are you being for real right now? He assumed you and I weren't together and that you were dating Jieqiong and me, Jeffrey." She let out a bit heated. "Honestly, a majority of them some times forget that we're actually a couple, Zhengting. Do we not interact like one or something?"
"Of course we do, Ruohua. We go on plenty of dates. We hang out as much as we can. We hold hands, kiss, and cuddle and do all of that other lovey-dovey stuff that couples do, too." Zhengting assured her although it didn't sound all that convincing.
"Are you sure?"
Zhengting opened his mouth to answer Ruohua, but no words came out. He looked like a fish with his mouth opening and closing while thinking of what kind of answer to give to his girlfriend. Ruohua let out a sigh and decided whether she should or shouldn't continue her relationship with Zhengting.
"Do you even know what I like or dislike, Zhengting? Like my favorite flowers? Colors? Food? Or even movies or dramas?"
Zhengting continued to look like a fish staring right back at her.
"Do you even know the date of my birthday or our anniversary?"
Still no response. Ruohua asked him another question hoping that he could maybe salvage what little they had to continue their relationship.
"Do you even know anything about me since we've known each other for five years or about us since we officially got together?"
Zhengting slowly removed his hands from her shoulders and put them at his side. He also avoided all eye-contact with Ruohoa and chose to instead look at the floor that was way more interesting. To Ruohua, this indicated to her that he didn't know or was unable to give her any sort of answer she would be satisfied with.
"I can't do this anymore, Zhengting." Ruohua admitted. "I love you and only you, but I can't endure any more heartaches because of you, Zhengting. I can't endure an us when there's just a you or me in this relationship." She told him. "I really thought that I'll be your last."
Ruohua started taking a few steps back from him which caught Zhengting's attention more after hearing what she had just said. He looked at her with alertness.
"What are you saying, Ruohua?"
"Zhengting, let's break up."
"Like taking a breather sort of break or actually...?"
He trailed off with widened eyes although he knew exactly what Ruohua meant, but couldn't let it sink in to process fully.
"Goodbye, Zhengting, and take real care."
It was four in the morning and Zhengting was outside of Ruohua's apartment after their break-up from a few months ago while knocking on the door every so often. They haven't contacted one another since and so Ruohua wondered what he wanted as she looked through the peephole. Ruohua was going to ignore Zhengting and go back to bed, but he continued to bang on her door insistently. Ruohua let out a sigh not wanting to annoy the neighbors if Zhengting didn't cease his knocking. She opened the door just as Zhengting was in mid-knock. The pair stared at one another with Ruohua waiting for what her ex-boyfriend had to say while Zhengting tried to gather his thoughts of what he wanted to say to his ex-girlfriend.
Ruohua waited for him to explain why he was here, but Zhengting remained quiet. Even after what felt like forever, but was only three to five minutes tops the silence between the pair continued on and no one wanted to speak. Ruohua knew that she shouldn't have expected a change from him and was about to close the door on Zhengting without saying anything, but Zhengting held out a hand against the door to prevent her from doing so. She glared at him and was about to say something, but quickly noticed the dark circles beneath his eyes and the way his face seemed so haggard. Her face soften as she wondered if their break-up had caused him to look so pale and tired.
"Begonias." Zhengting blurted out as Ruohua's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What?"
"Your favorite flowers are begonias because despite their simplicity they have a deeper meaning to them if you pay close enough attention to their symbolism."
"You're just memorizing facts you found online, Zhengting."
Ruohua tried to reason, but Zhengting shook his head with a small smile.
"You like eating the petals because it's the only way you'll eat anything really healthy and calling it a salad. Also it has its own medicinal uses like healing small cuts and scrapes, treating a sore throat, or relieving the symptoms of a cold."
"Again, Zhengting, stuff you can read online and tweak it to fit me."
"Well, you don't have a favorite color as long as they're the colors of begonias which has like seven of them."
Ruohua was going to counter, but Zhengting continued to speak.
"You also don't have a favorite food because you like anything and everything, but they're all usually carbs and why you eat begonias to slightly balanced it out." He pushed the door wider so that he can fully see Ruohua while still talking as he was answering her questions from the day they had broken up. "You prefer movies over shows because they're shorter in length and don't have too much fillers and drama-esque plots within them. Plus, you don't have favorites movies just favorite genres related to animation."
Ruohua tried to wrap this whole thing around her head, but it just left her confused on why he was answering her questions months later.
"Why?" She asked causing Zhengting to stop talking and to stare at her. "Why, what?"
"Why now, Zhengting? What does it matter to you in finally answering some of my questions months after we broke up? Why? What does this benefit for you?"
"Because I can't continue to convince myself that I don't miss you, Ruohua." Zhengting confessed. "I try so hard not to think of you, but I always see your face every time I close my eyes. I don't wanna fall asleep knowing that you'll appear in my dreams all night long."
Ruohua's was left speechless by his confession as Zhengting felt relieved admitting what's been burdening him these past few months.
"I never realized how much of a difference your presence impacted my life when I faced the truth that you were no longer mine or a part of my life, Ruohua."
Zhengting wanted to reach out and take Ruohua into his arms, but he restrained himself because he didn't have that privileged and right to do that anymore.
"I neglected your importance and feelings, but most of all out of everything I failed to see that I had neglected you, Ruohua." Zhengting admitted. "You're the one who was supposed to be my last that I love and only love, but I treated you like you meant nothing to me."
Ruohua regarded Zhengting throughout his confession while feeling his words and emotions tug at her heart. Could she really forgive him so easily? Could she even think about being in a relationship with him again? Could she even see a future for them if she gave him another chance, but if he asks for another chance? Ruohua honestly didn't know, but she did know that she wanted to do one thing right then and there.
"Can I hug you?"
She asked him and instead of receiving a response, Ruohua felt herself being pulled towards Zhengting's chest a second later. He enveloped her into his arms having missed the way she felt within his embrace. Although initially shocked by the sudden skinship as she thought Zhengting may not have wanted to hug or whatever, but Ruohua soon relaxed and hugged Zhengting back. Too lost in the mood, Ruohua missed what Zhengting had said.
"Hmm?" She hummed while pulling back far enough to look at him. "What did you say?"
Zhengting smiled as he repeated what he had just said.
"June twenty-first. January sixteen."
Ruohua gave him a funny look before realizing he was again answering her questions before they broke up.
"The day of my birthday and our anniversary."
Zhengting nodded as his smile widened before speaking again.
"You had a major and long crush on me and liked me ever since transferring to Langfang High."
"I did not."
Zhengting ignored Ruohua's comment.
"You think you suck at cooking which is true, but it's passable despite being a bit bland in flavor."
Ruohua slightly smacked him on the forearm, but Zhengting continued talking with a lighter tone to his voice. "And you've been wanting for us to move officially in together some time next year and adopt two French bulldogs once we're settled."
"Wow. Ziyang really has a big mouth and can't keep secrets." Ruohua pouted upon Zhengting learning of her wanting to live together with him.
"Big mouth or not, Ruohua, I'm terribly sorry for causing you so much heartache while we were together and I'm willing to spend the rest of my life to never make you feel alone or lonely ever again."
"That's a really big responsibility to take, Zhengting. How do you even know I wanna get back together with you?"
"Because you asked me for a hug."
Ruohua was confused by his words, but remember telling him back when they were teenagers that for her a hug always meant reconciliation. It was because she was never one for initiating skinship unless she felt like it or when the time called for it. Also if Ruohua ever fought with her significant other and she wanted to be the one to make up first, then she would initiate the hug to settle the score.
"You remembered?" She asked in disbelief.
"Eventually I did after thinking and reminiscing over the past few months and the time we spent with one another over the years for it to registered in my memory." Zhengting admitted with a chuckle. "It just took me a lot longer to realized a lot of things, Ruohua, but I hope you'll continue to lead me well and be patient because I don't wanna lose you ever again." He gently cupped her face while rubbing circles with his thumbs over her cheekbones. "I don't know what I'll do if I can't see your face ever again, Ruohua."
"Then don't, Zhengting. Because I've loved you and missed you too much to not have endured it for this long for another chance at us."
Ruohua pulled him in for a kiss.

Audition Day
Genre: college!au, slice of life, slight fluff, slight angst Word Count: 3,554 Summary: Serena, Jasmine, Katherine, and Melanie find themselves auditioning for the Sing In May a week after the White Day Festival and even happen to run into several NCT members as well.
Day Festival masterlist.
Warning: semi-proofread.
whoo! hi. i’m on a roll at the moment and i hope it won’t fade away so fast. my mental health has seemed to improve lately and work isn’t as stressful as it used to be. also i can work on my stories without being so drained and uninterested. anyways, since i’m in the mood here is another snippet for that NCT story series of sorts. have no idea what to actually call it, but they’re pretty much standalones lol. but yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
A week later the quartet found themselves in the school's auditorium at eight in the morning. They were informed by Gina to arrive early for the auditions and if they did then they wouldn't have to go to any of their classes, but could still receive the attendance and work for missing them. So here they were all comfy in sweats and hoodies awaiting for further details along with all the others auditioning for the showcase. Anyways, for the past few days the quartet have been practicing a few songs just in case another participate was doing the same song and didn't want to clash. So they prepared backup songs although they wondered if they should've even bothered as they didn't voluntarily sign up in the first place.
"This is still so early, bro." Serena said in-between a yawn while slouching in her seat. "Why do we need to be here so early though?"
"Gina said the auditions will be all day as oppose it to being a three day auditioning due to last minute changes." Jasmine stated as she also let out a yawn and was slouching in her seat.
"What's up with the last minute changes this year?" Melanie asked to no one in particular.
"I know, right." Katherine agreed. "I just hope they have snacks."
"If not, then I'm leaving to get bubble tea." Serena remarked.
"You and your unhealthy obsession with bubble tea."
Jasmine eyed her friend as Serena shrugged.
"It's addicting."
"By the way, what's the name that Gina gave us for this?" Katherine asked remembering something.
"I think it's Lady Rose or something." Jasmine replied as Melanie went through her friend to double check.
"Ah, it's Roseate Bloom now. It was Lady Rose."
"What about our stage names?" Serena inquired interested in the topic all of a sudden. "Is it similar to what we used in the past?"
"Um," Melanie continued to scroll through her phone before answering, "Yeah something like that."
Melanie showed the trio their new stage names as the twins sighed while Serena chuckled.
"I guess Gina had as much fun as I did."
"True."
Soon the group of four looked about them as they noticed that the auditorium was quite filled up save a few seats here and there. They continued talking as they wondered how many acts were actually going to perform and if the ones in charge of the event was going to be picky or not.
"Hello everyone and thank you all for joining us this morning for auditions."
Haji, the overall person in charged of Sing In May, stood on stage to welcome the participants getting the attention of everyone present. She then motioned for several more people to join her.
"This year joining me in the selection for those to participate in Sing In May are Daeyoung, Lina, Jenny, Sulhee, Aaron, Dohyun, and Ray. So please be mindful of us and we'll be mindful of you."
The other seven introduced themselves before walking off the stage and down the area where several tables were set up like booths as Haji continued speaking.
"Anyways, I'm going to divide you guys into certain sections before you audition. When I call out your name and or the group you're with, please make your way to one of the seven booths quietly and without disturbances led by one of them."
Haji explained while holding several pieces of paper and motioning to the tables.
"Please pay attention as once you move over to your assigned area where Ray, Sulhee, and the others will hand you your name-tags and other information. When everyone is settled the auditions will start at nine."
"I still can't believe we have to wear these until auditions are over." Serena complained as she adjusted the straps of her large name-tag.
"It makes us seem like real trainees having one of those monthly evaluations." Katherine mused. "I kinda like it."
"Of course you would." Melanie remarked with a laugh as she got done adjusting her name-tag.
"Anyways, I'm just glad that we don't have to wear any costumes for this."
"I know." Jasmine agreed.
"But if we make it in for the showcase I'm sure Gina got something in mind for us to wear."
Serena sighed upon imaging that.
"So true. Anyways, I'm just mad that we're in the late afternoon. I would rather get it done and over with."
"Maybe Gina will do something later on about it." Katherine reasoned with a laugh. "I wondered how many they're gonna accept this year."
"Depending on how the acts goes today we could have at least like twenty." Jasmine answered.
"That's roughly like an hour." Melanie calculated. "Wasn't it like two hours or three hours last year?"
"I think so." Jasmine recalled. "But last year was a competition and not a showcase so there were quite a few rounds or something like that for last year's Sing In May."
"Oh yeah, I remember that now. Gina told me that the whole competition was a mess to deal with due to everyone not being on the same page. Both the staffs and the contestants" Katherine recalled remembering what happened last year. "Anyways, so they're doing a showcase and I think it's gonna be at least thirty to get in as many people as possible."
"What are they trying to get with the funds from this showcase for?" Serena asked once she was satisfied with her name-tag placement.
"It's going for the All-Star Sports competition." Jasmine answered. "Gina mentioned they wanna add an actual obstacle course which fell through last year."
"Oh really? That'll be cool." Melanie said with a nod.
"Anyways," Katherine directed the conversation elsewhere. "Just like what Serena said earlier, let's get some bubble tea."
"Aight then. Let's go."
Serena cheered happily at the prospect of a boba run.
"What flavor did you get again?" Katherine asked Serena upon seeing her drink.
"Rose."
She offered the drink towards her friend.
"Do you wanna try?"
"No thanks. I'm good. Wintermelon is all I need."
"Let me try that mochi waffle you got." Melanie asked her sister as Serena handed one of them over to her. "Is it any good?"
"I dunno. I saw a post about it online and wanted to try it." Serena answered with a chuckle. "It looked good and smells lovely."
The group of four were casually heading back to the university after buying their snacks and drinks. They were enjoying themselves and taking in the sunshine until they ran into an ex-friend of Serena's just outside the entrance of the university. He was with two other males.
"Oh ho. Look who we have here." The ex-friend exclaimed as he and his two buddies blocked the quartet's path.
"Must be fate bringing us together, Serena."
"You wished that was true, Sammy." Jasmine stated as she instinctively moved to put a barrier between the male and her friend.
"Why don't you buzz off?"
Sammy cast her an annoyed look.
"This doesn't concern you, Jasmine."
"It does when you keep on bothering her when she ended the friendship two years ago."
Sammy scoffed.
"That's what you think."
"It's not what we think. It's what we know." Katherine clarified as she, too, joined her twin in blocking the male from Serena.
"Besides, what are you even doing over here?"
"I can do whatever I want, Katherine." He answered with a snicker.
"Seriously, dude, why can't you just leave her and us alone." Melanie told him off. "There's no reason for us to associate with one another."
Sammy cast his eyes onto Melanie with a hard stare.
"Hey, if we happen to cross paths, then who am I to deny that."
"Right." She motioned to the school. "Just outside the university like that?"
"Well, it is what it is. So what are you gonna do about it, Melanie?"
The girls didn't like the way he had said Melanie's name. They also didn't like the way he stood with his friends behind him. The quartet became cautious and wary when they noticed that his friends almost surrounded them a second later.
"Look, Sammy. We're no longer friends so just leave me and them alone." Serena reasoned with the male as she stood before him now.
"You really think you're all that, don't you, Serena?"
Sammy scoffed as Serena remained firm.
"I do if I have to. Please just stop doing whatever it is you're doing."
Before Sammy could say or do anything else, two other voices intervened from behind him.
"Is there a problem here?"
"Ling Shuang?"
The whole group turned their attention to the newcomers and the quartet recognized the two as Kun and WinWin with WinWin calling Serena by another name.
"No, there's no problem and no you don't need to bother. I'm just having a chat with my girlfriend and her friends." Sammy answered trying to coolly play it off.
"I'm not your girlfriend." Serena clarified with a firm tone. "And we were not having a chat."
Somehow the two males made their way over to the group and eased themselves in-between Sammy and his friends and the quartet.
"I'm sure these ladies have ended their interaction with you fellas." Kun said in a calm tone while shooting Sammy a smile, but his eyes said otherwise.
Sammy looked between the two males and the females before glancing at his own friends.
"Psh, whatever. She's not even worth it." Sammy said while backing off.
He motioned for his friend to get out of there.
"Let's go."
Sammy and his buddies took off with Sammy not even glancing back. The quartet let out a breath of relieved as they hoped this was the final time they would see him.
"You good?" Melanie asked her sister with a worried look. "I think we should put a restraining order on him."
"I'm fine and I think so, too." Serena answered before turning to the two males. "Thank you and sorry that you guys had to get involved."
"No worries. Gotta help people when things like that occur." Kun brushed it off in good-nature.
Meanwhile, WinWin cast Serena a stern look.
"Ling Shuang."
"Sorry, WinWin. I thought he wouldn't appear after you told him off last time."
WinWin sighed, but nodded.
"It's fine. Just, be safe and don't go anywhere alone. Okay?"
"I will. Thanks."
"You're welcome."
"Are you sure that she and WinWin have nothing going on between them?" Jasmine muttered to the other two, but Serena overheard her.
"We don't." Serena clarified.
"By the way, Serena, why does he call you by another name?" Katherine inquired a moment later.
"I came up with a Chinese name for myself when I first met him and it stuck since." Serena explained as Melanie laughed.
"Yeah, that sounds about right."
Kun happened to noticed their name-tags.
"Ah, are you guys participating in the Sing In May, too?"
"Auditioning." Jasmine corrected. "We don't know if we'll actually be in the showcase."
"Well, good luck. Our other friends are also participating, but with different teams. Why don't we head back together?"
While heading back to the auditorium, Serena had to keep her friends and sister in check as they kept pushing her to walk alongside either boys to tease her. Both males noticed, but didn't comment as Serena just shook her head to indicate that it was nothing while later glaring at the trio to stop their little antics. They didn't.
"There's actually a lot of good acts auditioning here to be honest." Katherine commented after watching a soloist belt out notes like no other.
"Do they really need us then?" Serena asked skeptically. "I mean, honestly there were some real good ones that could definitely bring in some interests."
"Even if we wanna leave, Gina would not let us live it down." Melanie reasoned with a yawn. "Has Gina responded back yet?"
"Not yet. We still have less than half an hour left." Jasmine informed her. "Besides, Gina was gonna message us when to be back there."
Upon returning to the auditorium, the quartet were informed by Gina that their time slot had actually been moved up earlier than previous as well as the list of songs the others auditioning were performing to. It made it easier for the quartet which song to audition with and to get it done and over with as well.
"This is so annoying." Serena commented as she slumped into her seat. "At least it'll be over soon."
The trio turned to look over at Jasmine who let out a suppressed squeal. They follow her line of sight and noticed that she had spotted Johnny in the distance. He was speaking with the rest of his Nu Chi Theta members. They wondered if all or some of them were going to participate in the Sing In May.
"Hey, you should've confessed when he met up with us earlier when we arrived with WinWin and Kun." Serena teased as she nudged Jasmine who nudged her back.
"No way I could do that on my own. I would need someone with me."
"Hmm, maybe Serena can help out by asking Taeyong on a date." Katherine mused as Serena frown with a shake of her head.
"Then how about Melanie asking Jaehyun out then?"
Katherine looked over at Melanie who shot her a knowing look.
"Or you can be a good sister and ask Taeil out and then the both of you could go on a double date instead of Serena and I."
"Anyways, let's go." Katherine responded instead dodging the topic. "Gina just messaged us to head backstage to prep."
"One, two," Jasmine started the greeting like always whenever they were a performing group before finishing as a team in a cheerful tone, "We are Roseate Bloom! Hello!"
The quartet quickly introduced themselves with the stage names that Gina had designated for them with the meaning of flowers in the order of Melanie, Katherine, Serena, and Jasmine.
"I'm Jin Dalrae"
"I'm Jang Mihwa."
"I'm Han Songyi."
"And I'm Min Deulle."
Roseate Bloom bowed as their were some applause. Jasmine spoke again.
"We'lll be performing We Are A Bit Different so please watch over us kindly."
"Thank you." Haji thanked them as she motioned for them to start. "Whenever you're ready to go."
The group went into formation as they waited for the music to start. Despite their earlier complaint they found themselves once again enjoying it. When the song came to an end did they remain in their ending poses and waited a few seconds before dropping it and awaited what Haji and the others had to say.
"Alright, thank you so much for your audition, Roseate Bloom." Haji thanked them with a smile while writing on the clipboard before her.
She then glanced at the others.
"Would you guys like to say anything?"
Lina nodded before looking over at Serena with a smile.
"Han Songyi." She announced as it was quiet for a moment.
Jasmine nudged Serena that it was her that Lina had called upon.
"Uh, yes?" Serena answered as she looked at her curiously.
"Where did you buy that strawberry cat hoodie?"
Serena relaxed upon hearing Lina's question and answered with a small smile.
"Ah, it was a gift from a friend back home. I don't know where he bought it though."
"Ah, if you find out, then will you let me know?"
"Of course."
The others laughed as Haji went back on topic.
"Anyone else have something to say?"
Daeyoung raised his hand as he looked at them all.
"Jang Mihwa, could I request you sing a little something right now?"
"Uh," Katherine stalled as she slightly panicked while glancing at the other three.
"Oh, that song you sang this morning when showering." Melanie suggested in a whisper as Katherine nodded feeling less nervous.
"Yeah. I can do that."
Daeyoung smiled as everyone else anticipated what Katherine would sing.
~Let me sing a song for love, I wanna sing a song for love, let it be a song for love, and you can hum along, and someday you'll find it, the way to sing your song for love, song for love, song for love, maybe someday you'll find it, the way to sing your song for love~
Katherine sang the chorus for Song For Love and sheepishly cast a smile afterwards.
"Thank you so much, Jang Mihwa." Daeyoung thanked her with a clap. "I'm good now."
Haji chuckled before looking at the rest of the judges.
"Anything else?"
Ray raised his hand this time while looking at the quartet.
"Min Deulle, I'm assuming you're like the leader of Roseate Bloom?"
"Uh, yes." Jasmine answered with a sheepish laugh. "De facto leader."
"Nice. You give off that vibe to me. How do you feel about having that role?”
Jasmine shrugged as she answered nonchalantly.
“I don’t mind, really. I’m just glad to know that I have a wonderful team to stand by me and help me lead.”
“Ooh, good answer.”
Ray chuckled before asking another question.
“Anyways, are the names listed on your name-tag your stage names, perhaps?"
"Mmhmm. For Sing In May purposes."
"I see. Is it related to your group name that's why?"
"Yes, it is."
"Very nice."
Ray looked at Haji with a satisfied smile.
"I'm good here as well."
Haji chuckled once again and asked once more if anyone else had anything for Roseate Bloom with Sulhee raising her hand and directing her attention onto Melanie.
"Yeah, Since Jin Dalrae hasn't spoke yet, could you sing a little something for us right now?"
Melanie's eyes went wide at being caught off guard just like Katherine until Katherine suggested a song for her to do, too, just like what Melanie had done for her.
"Sure." Melanie answered before singing a snippet of All To U.
~Imma give it all to you, and baby it’s so true, I’m gon be insane that when I’m lying next to you, I’ll give it all to you and baby it’s so true, I’m gon be insane that when I’m lying next to you~
"Ohh, lovely." Sulhee praised with glee. "Thank you so much, Min Dalrae."
Sulhee nodded at Haji who once again asked if the others wanted to commented before facing the quartet again after receiving head shakes.
"I think that's it for now, ladies. We'll notify if you're in the final line-up within a week. Have a good rest of your day, Roseate Bloom."
"Thank you."
The quartet thanked them as they bowed once more before walking off and handling all of the items back to one of the student council members as another group walked past to perform.
"Oh!"
"Serena! Melanie!"
"Watch our stage!"
"Yeah. Watch us!"
"And let us know how we did afterwards."
The male quintet spoke as they walked by the quartet as they addressed Melanie and Serena while waving politely at Katherine and Jasmine.
"Oh yeah, sure. Serena and I will totally be cheering for y'all!" Melanie informed them as she nudged Serena playfully.
"Cool! Thanks!"
The quintet ran off to prepare while Jasmine stared at them with a shocked face.
"You guys also know Chenle, Jisung, Jaemin, Jeno, and Renjun, too?"
Jasmine playfully smacked.
"Girl, y'all had the connection this whole time and could've helped me out with Johnny."
"We're just mutual friends through Ten, Jasmine." Melanie clarified. "It's not like we actually hang out with them. Besides, just confess already."
"Yeah, for real. Confess." Serena chimed in with a sour face not directed at her friend. "If we did announce our friendship, then we would be stalked by their dumb fangirls. They're so obsessive, so possessive, and even beyond rational. It's kinda mind-bogging."
Jasmine nodded upon hearing those words.
"Oh, true. Sorry. I didn't mean it like that. My bad for sounding like one."
"It's okay, sis, and you’re not that bad as them, but just go through the natural way and not be a stalker that would make them hate you even more." Katherine advised before looking over at the other pair of sisters with a cheeky expression.
"By the way, I think it was bound to happen one way or another."
"Why do you say that?" Melanie asked with a puzzled gaze.
"Well, the way I see it we're all gonna be crossing paths more since we all have a crush on a Nu Chi Theta member. Another thing to note is that you and Serena are actually on friendly terms with several of them already."
"This isn't a drama, Katherine."
Serena pointed out with a suspicious look.
"So don't go jinxing it or whatever."
"It's bound to happen, Serena, whether you like it or not."
"Shut up."
The other three laughed as their attention soon went to the quintet as they performed their rendition of No.1. Serena ran off once the song ended leaving the other three to make excuses on her behalf. Anyways, barely a week later the quartet received news from Gina personally that Roseate Bloom had been chosen to participate in the Sing In May without her actual doing as the judges really enjoyed their stage and personality. The twins were excited while the other sisters were just going with the flow. More Melanie Serena, as Serena wondered if life really wanted her to go through some drama-like life.

When Chris inputted the new pass-code to his girlfriend's apartment he was met with eurodance-pop music blasting and quickly entered the space to shut the door immediately behind him. He was at first confused as this was a complete change of sound compared to last month. Chris thought Linna was overthinking it, but she wasn't kidding that Kierra's new playlist changed drastically several days after his visit. Chris slipped out of his shoes, placed his things off to the side before going in search of his girlfriend, and saw that Kierra was playing music on her living room TV.
Kierra usually did that when she was cleaning and he chanced upon the title of song of Barbie Girl. A few giggles escaped from his lips as he didn't think Kierra would listen to something like that, but then again he remembered that she listened to all sorts of genres growing up. The next song soon got his attention when he heard the lyrics and he became flustered upon understanding what it was about. It didn't help that he even read the title of the song, I Wanna Be Bad, when it popped up once Barbie Girl was done.
"Oh?"
Kierra was surprised to see Chris in her living room after finishing the kitchen. She lowered the volume before greeting her boyfriend.
"Hi."
Chris snapped his attention to his girlfriend and noticed her new hair color right away.
"Oh, nice color." He complimented as Kierra shyly played with her newly dyed dark plum locks.
"I totally forgot that it's not dark roots and blonde anymore."
She then eyed him suspiciously.
"Anyways, why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be doing idol musician work or something like that?"
Chris pouted as he instantly made his way to engulf his girlfriend into a hug.
"I thought we already had this discussion, Kierra."
"There's a lot of discussion so it's hard to keep track."
Chris playfully squeezed her and Kierra squirmed within his embrace causing him to laugh at the situation.
"You play too much." She commented before returning his hug.
"Anyways," Chris changed the topic, "Linna told me about your new playlist."
Kierra rolled her eyes.
"Of course she would. Is that why you're really here?"
"Not really, but I just wanted to see your loving face and got a surprise with your purple-like hair."
"Eww, no wonder STAYs love and hate you, but hating you in the loving manner from the real ones and not the fake ones."
Chris laughed.
"Why do you say that?"
"Because just like you do to me with the I Am You demo, you wouldn't play the actual audio of 'WE GO' for them."
Chris laughed again before nuzzling his face against Kierra's.
"Aww, but it's true. I do love you."
"Says the one that isn't experienced with love." Kierra remarked as Chris laughed sheepishly knowing what she was trying to get at.
"By the way, you did not give me the song like promised."
"I forgot."
"Yeah, like them cookies you were supposed to give to fans if they attended a STRAY KIDS concert."
"When did I say that?"
"I don't remember, but it was an interview while y'all were in the states."
"Hmm, I don't recall."
"Right. I'm gonna ask Felix to not bake you any more brownies or chocolate chip cookies until you fulfill your promises."
"Aww, don't be like that."
Kierra didn't respond and just gave him a pointed look.
"Anyways," Chris changed the topic back to her music playlist again trying to ease into her good graces again, "What's up with the new playlist?"
"No reason. Just felt like it. It'll probably change again in a week or so."
Kierra focused her attention and the topic onto her boyfriend this time while cupping his face.
"How about you? How are you holding up?"
"I'm fine." He replied with a half-smile, but she didn't believe him yet didn't pester him about it.
"Alright then, so-"
She was interrupted by her boyfriend's words.
"But a kiss will make me feel better."
Chris chuckled after Kierra made a face. Before the two could share a kiss they heard the front door opening and loud chatter indicating that the rest of the boys had decided to come over as well. Linna was the first one to spot them with a playful look.
"Oh, were we interrupting some special time?"
"Nope. Not at all." Kierra replied as she tried to get out of Chris' grip, but her boyfriend held her firmly in place.
"Yes." Chris answered with a pout. "Now she's gonna act all indifferent with all of you here."
"I act the same way whether it's me and you or with the others around."
"Okay, true, but I just wanted to spend more time with you."
"Well, why not go and make dinner together?" Linna suggested as Kierra frowned.
"He's really not much help in the kitchen and STAYs know that now."
"Wow. I'm totally gonna have to show you that I am a great help in the kitchen."
"But it was Linna's turn to make dinner today."
"Too bad. You and I are making dinner now."
"Ugh, but why can't y'all go back to your dorm to eat while Linna and I just enjoy a meal with the two of us instead of the ten of us."
"The more the merrier. Besides, you brought this upon yourself."
Kierra sighed in defeat as she allowed Chris to lead the two of them towards the kitchen with Linna chuckling mischievously upon what she had just done.
"Babe, why are you laughing like that?" Hyunjin asked his girlfriend as he eyed her. "And did Kierra finally change her hair color?"
"Oh, no reason and yeah she did. I think it was last night or the day before that. Anyways, I'm gonna change. Watch the others and don't make a mess. Kierra just cleaned the house and I don't know how she'll react if y'all mess it up again."
"Fine. By the way, what's the Netflix info?"
"Don't remember. Ask Kierra."
Linna went to her room leaving her boyfriend behind who glanced towards the kitchen a bit nervously.
"I'll just use Changbin's information instead."

Seriously
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Kierra] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 3,475 Summary: Kierra always thought Chris was playing and never took his flirting as something serious. She always played it off and now he wants to let her know that with her it was always serious.
Warning: curse words, i guess, that’s mainly about it lol
oh look, another ficcy featuring Bang Chan. it’s not a bad thing, but it just sucks when i picture him in the role instead of another idol, but oh well. at least it’s something than nothing. anyways, this was also part of another story with a different male in mind and to me the original person just didn’t fit anymore so Bang Chan came to be instead. but yeah, for the title, it was just something that came to mind and fits it then whatever else i can think of for it instead. anyways, that’s about it and so happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
revised 9.13.20
Kierra stared up at the Department of Music building before following Chris inside with a confused look.
"Why am I here again?" She asked while following him up the stairs.
"You promised to help me out when I asked you a few days ago." Chris reminded her as she groaned.
"Chris, you do know that you had called me at like four in the morning to ask me that, right?"
"Yes, Kierra, I do, but you're the one that accepted the request I made at four in the morning."
"Ugh. I blame the girls for my lack of sleep lately." Kierra muttered before glaring at him.
"After this is over, feel free to lose my number."
Chris laughed at her serious, but not really serious words. Kierra frowned with a rolled of her eyes as she asked him on why she was there again.
"You're gonna help me out." Chris answered, but didn't further explained on what kind of help exactly.
"Okay, but I'm not majoring in music."
"I know, but you're minoring in Journalism, right?"
"Creative Writing, but I don't see where you're getting at though."
"You'll see."
Chris glanced at her with a secretive smile before arriving on the designated floor.
"Here we are."
Kierra continued following Chris until he stopped just outside one of the rooms at the furthest end of the hall.
"I had asked one of the department professors for permission to use this room solely as my studio when I first started since it wasn't being used throughout the years." Chris explained as he pulled out a key and inserted it in to the door before opening it. "Ladies first."
Kierra hesitated before entering as she shot the male a cautious look. Chris cast her a playful smile as he motioned again for her to enter first.
"I'm not gonna do anything to you, Kierra, unless you want me to."
Kierra scoffed at his flirty words while scrunching up her face as she backhanded his stomach area. Chris let out a small grunt from her small action.
"Yeah, right. In your dreams, Chris." She remarked while walking passed him and into the room.
"Only if you're there, too, Kierra." He countered with a laugh and actually dodged another hit from the female who seemed slightly flustered, but didn't say anything.
Kierra turned away and was amazed by the recording studio like room. Despite it's small size and simple style and equipment, the room had a nice charm to it. So lost in her thoughts of observing the room, she didn't hear Chris calling for her attention.
"Kierra?"
Nothing.
"Kierra?" Chris asked louder which got the female's attention this time around.
"Hmm?" She hummed while facing him. "What?"
"You ready to help me out?" He asked while indicating for her to take a seat at the empty chair next to him.
She glanced at the chair before walking closer and sat upon it while placing her backpack onto the floor. Kierra then shot Chris a curious look.
"Honesty, I know nothing about music and I don't know why you want me to help you out when there's Jisung and Changbin that do music with you. Like all the time, bro. Even BamBam and Yugyeom can help you out, too. Oh, and those three girls you hang out with, too. Um, Sana, Chaeyoung, and Jamie. Why do you need me?"
"I just wanted a new perspective." Chris answered nonchalantly while messing around with his music stuff. "Besides, Linna mentioned that you used to write poetry and your own lyrics to instrumental beats back in the day."
"Yeah, I used to, but that was like back when I was in late middle school to early high school." Kierra informed while giving him a suspicious look. "Why would Linna mention that to you, anyways?"
"We were just talking and it somehow popped up somewhere in the conversation."
"Y'all better not be talking about me."
"And if we are?"
Chris gazed at her with a playful look as Kierra scowled at him.
"Then she better not be saying anything personal."
"Does this personal thing have anything to do with me?" He probed with a hint of a playful tone as Kierra tried to not seem phased by it. "No."
"Is that so?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm gonna hit you if you don't stop."
"Stop what?"
Chris continued to play around with Kierra and he dodged her hand that came out to smack him. He laughed upon hearing her cursed him when she missed.
"Gosh, you're so annoying. Anyways, Chris, hurry up and let's get this thing started and over with so I can leave."
Kierra changed the topic with a slight flustered expression as she gave Chris a pointed look to get a move on. Chris chuckled before grabbing his mouse and moving it about. Kierra had a sudden realization when her eyes watched the monitor.
"I can't read music notes or whatever they're called."
"You can count paces, right?" He asked her as she nodded.
"Yeah, but I can't sing either."
"You can hum, right?" He asked with a smile as she reluctantly nodded.
"Yes. Ugh, there's no escaping, is there?"
"Nope. You're already here and you already promised to hang out, too."
"I'm totally deleting your number when this is over." Kierra grumbled as Chris chuckled before handing her some pieces of paper.
"You'll be fine, Kierra. Besides, this should be really fun."
"Says you, but alright. What do you want me to do?"
~~~~~~~~
"I don't think this is working out like I thought it would have." Chris commented after coming up with nothing for the past two hours.
"No shit, Sherlock." Kierra deadpanned as she's been trying to let him know that since the beginning.
Chris eyed her tiredly, but a small smile graced his face.
"I'm sorry, but at least you didn't try to beat me up within those two hours."
"Oh, I wanted to, but then I didn't want your fangirls to come after me though."
"What? I don't have fangirls."
"You literally have a fanclub on campus, Chris."
"No I don't, Kierra."
"Are you serious? There's a fanpage on the school's website dedicated to you."
One side of Chris' brows quirked up interested as he cast Kierra an amused look.
"And how would you know that, Kierra?"
"It's not what you think, Chris." Kierra explained while leaning away as she hadn't realized how close she had gotten to the male over time.
"So tell me what you think I was thinking then."
"Um, no. Don't feel like it."
"That's what you always say."
"Because that's how I always feel."
"I beg to differ."
"Yeah, like you know."
"Oh, but Kierra, I do." Chris cooed as he leaned closer to her and she shied away from him with a hard look in his direction.
"Stop."
"Stop what?" He asked playing clueless.
"You know what I mean."
"I don't though. Could you help remind me again?"
"Um, no. Don't feel like it."
Kierra smirked as Chris rolled his eyes before catching the time on the wall. He turned his attention back onto the female with a casual expression.
"How about we go grab some late lunch slash early dinner?"
Kierra's eyes glanced at the same clock to check the time before casting the male an apologetic look.
"Sorry, I can't."
"Oh, why not?"
"I have another class to go to in a little bit."
"Oh, then we can grab dinner afterwards."
"No way. I get out super late. So yeah, no dinner for tonight. Sorry."
She picked up her backpack and stood up to leave, but Chris stopped her.
"Wait. That sounds like a 'maybe, next time' kinda offer to me."
"And what if it does?"
She faced him with an amused look.
"Then does that mean I can take you up on that rain check then?"
"Yeah, sure, whatever, Chris. You can take it however you wanna take it." She dismissed not really believing that Chris would be serious about it.
"Wait. I thought your late classes were on Mondays and Wednesdays."
"No. That was last semester. This semester's Tuesdays and Thursdays."
"Oh, well now I know."
"Right. Anyways, good luck with your music composition. Also, please do not ask for my help again. I don't think it did any good on your end."
"Although quite true, but it helped with other things."
"Like what?"
Chris didn't answer her and just shot her a secretive smile. She rolled her eyes while giving him the peace sign.
"Alright. I'm out. See you never."
Chris didn't get a chance to bid her a goodbye as Kierra hurried on out of there. Chris chuckled before gathering up the pieces of paper that Kierra had written on.
"Maybe I should've suggested something else instead of this."
~~~~~~~~
Chris was waiting for Kierra to get out of her class after getting the information from Linna. When he finally saw her walked out of the building, he was surprised to see his other friend, Allen, walking alongside her casually. Kierra was happily talking to Woojin and Chris found it weird as she was never like that with him. He shook that thought away while jogging over to the pair and greeted them as he interrupted their conversation.
"Kierra. Allen."
"Oh, Chris, what's up." Allen acknowledged his friend while Kierra just smiled and didn't say anything.
The trio walked with Allen in the middle as he and Chris conversed quietly while Kierra remained quiet not bothered by Chris' presence.
"I didn't know you had the same late class as Kierra." Chris mentioned as Allen cocked his head. "Wait, you didn't? Didn't I tell you?"
"No, Allen, you did not."
"Oh, my bad. So what are you doing here?"
Chris moved his head passed Allen to glance over at Kierra who wasn't even paying attention to them before returning his gaze onto his friend.
"You know that thing I was trying to work on, well, you're like kinda in the middle of it. Literally."
Chris motioned with his head to indicate it towards Kierra for Allen to comprehend his meaning. Allen discreetly followed and got what his friend meant.
"Oh? So you're finally acting upon it then?" Allen mused as Chris nodded. "Yes. Yes, I am."
"Damn about time. Took you long enough."
"I know. Anyways, what are the two of you doing walking together though and in this direction?"
"I always walk Kierra back to her dorm building since it's so late and I gotta make sure she's safe."
"Oh, so that's why you always come back late."
"Yup." Allen glanced at Chris with a knowing look before speaking. "So, do you wanna walk Kierra back instead?"
Before Chris could respond, Kierra spoke out to them having already walked further on.
"I'll let you two catch up and I'll head over to the Girls' Dormitory myself."
Kierra's attention went to Allen.
"Don't forget we have to meet at the library tomorrow afternoon for the group project, okay?"
Allen gave her a thumbs up.
"I won't. Just make sure that you won't forget to bring the snacks this time around."
"I won't. It was just that one time. Anyways, see ya."
Kierra waved Allen goodbye before turning to Chris and doing the same thing. Chris felt a little weird as she wasn't her usual aloof and indifferent with him this time around. He felt a small nudge and glanced at Allen.
"What?"
"There's your chance to walk her home."
"But I'm sure I would just inconvenience her as she had just said that she would go on by herself."
"You're wrong, Chris. It's the other way around. Kierra hates being an inconvenience to others."
Chris regarded his friend a bit.
"How do you know her so well?"
"We've had classes since we started and always ended up as partners through the semesters." Allen explained. "So we just built a friendship between us."
"Ah, so that's why she's more friendly and comfortable with you."
Allen chuckled.
"She would be more friendly and comfortable with you, too, if you didn't always try to flirt with her all the time."
"I don't always do that."
"Well, Kierra believes so and thinks it's just a part of your personality."
"Really? She thinks I'm like this with everybody."
"Yeah, basically. She won't admit it, but I hear her grumbling about it for you to either be serious with her or to stop playing with her feelings and mind or whatever."
Allen then glanced in the direction that Kierra had walked off to and noticed her small figure in the distance before gazing at Chris.
"Anyways, this is a perfect opportunity for you or you're gonna miss your chance and Kierra's gonna keep thinking of you the way that she does now."
~~~~~~~~
Kierra was quietly walking back to her dorm with the serene campus night life surrounding her. She yawned as she thought about falling asleep in her comfy bed and being surrounded by her equally comfy and fluffy friends. That was until a familiar voice called her name and Kierra's mood dimmed wondering what the male wanted.
"Kierra!"
"Yes, Chris?" She responded, but didn't turn around and continued to walk on.
Chris soon matched her pace and would tentatively glance at her every now and then.
"About that rain check."
"What rain check?"
"The one from earlier this afternoon."
Kierra had to think about it and Chris was about to tell her to not worry about it until she actually remembered the situation from earlier.
"Oh, that. What about it?"
"Well, I was thinking this Saturday, you and me, at Compass Cafe. Yeah?"
"In the morning or afternoon? I thought it was supposed to be dinner."
Chris chuckled which caused Kierra to look over at him.
"What's so funny?"
"Do you want it to be just dinner?" Chris asked to confirm.
"It can be whatever you want it to be as I didn't think you were being serious about it. Anyways, I also just thought it was a rain check for dinner because you had ask to grab late lunch slash early dinner."
"Kierra."
Chris called her name as the two of the them stopped walking. Kierra regarded the male a bit and wondered what he wanted to say.
"Yes, Chris?"
"If you weren't aware by now or at all, but I just wanted to let you know that with you I've always been serious."
"Right. That's a good joke. Tell me something I don't know."
"No really. Yeah, it was playful, but it was always directed at you and only you. And for something that you don't know which is kinda apparent to me now, but I have no feelings for anyone else, but you. I like you, Kierra. I like you a lot."
"Why?"
"What do you mean?"
"Why would you like someone like me? There's like tons of people you hang out with and talk to more than me. So why would you like me when we barely hang out."
Kierra was being serious as she couldn't wrap this information around her at all.
"I mean, you seem to get along well with Jamie and crack a lot of jokes with her like all the time. There's even those few girls that seem to follow you around during the day and fetching you food and drinks like all the time. I'm sure you can get with them without having to try, honestly."
Chris was gonna intervene, but he allowed Kierra to vent out whatever it was that she was trying to make a point of. He was actually quite amuse by what she had to say as he didn't think this was floating about in her head this whole time.
"And then you have those fans of yours. For you, Changbin, and Jisung as 3RACHA. You have no idea how many times they scream and cry at the mention of your guys' names and songs. It's kinda weird. Also, Linna took me to one of your guys' show one time and it was insane. I never went again because I did not want to experience that, but then Linna always knows how to persuade me go to those things and so I just had to deal with it."
Kierra let out a loud sigh at the next set of words she was about to express.
"And don't let me get started on your fanclub page. It's so mind-blowing that all they talk about is your Australian accent, abs, and the type of underwear you wear or whatever. Honestly, like it doesn't dawn on them that you're more than that at all. It's pretty ridiculous."
Kierra went on to list some things she appreciated of Chris while he was left surprised, shocked, and speechless by her thoughts of him.
"Like how you're so caring, considerate, and attentive to those around you. You're ever so patient and want everyone to feel included even if you may not know them that well. How you make people feel at ease with the way your voice and words soothes them. The way your mind works with wanting to convey things in your songs and how you just go about things in general. Chris, you're such an amazing guy and you totally deserve the whole world."
Once Kierra spoke that last sentence she didn't realized that Chris looked at her adoringly when she finally gazed at him. She instantly grew shy at the thought of her expressing what she had really thought about the male over the years.
"So, please tell me how you really feel now, Kierra." Chris teased wanting to break the awkwardness between them after what Kierra had indirectly admitted and knew this sort of thing must've made her feel a bit embarrass and shy.
"You're a brat and super annoying." Kierra retorted and Chris laughed.
"Now, that sounds like the Kierra I know."
"Shut up."
"You're such a tsundere."
Kierra didn't bother to comment on that knowing it was definitely true, but she wouldn't admit to it just yet. She just needed to find a way to get Linna to stop spilling all of her secrets to Chris somehow. Because she knew for a fact that Linna had to have some sort of hand into Chris knowing some of her quirks.
"Anyways, I'm busy Saturday." She finally answered him. "I have a paper to finish that I've been procrastinating on."
"Haven't you listened to one of my song that mentions something about 'stop procrastinating'?"
"I have, but that just makes me want to procrastinate more. Anyways, so no Sa-"
"Sunday. I know you're free Sunday. Linna mentioned that you have nothing planned and are totally free."
"Why do you always gotta get Linna to tell you about my life?"
"Because I know you won't tell me."
"Okay, true, but why do you wanna hang out so bad?"
"It's not a hang out, Kierra. I've been trying to ask you out on a date."
"Oh."
Chris chuckled highly amused, but tried to not rush the female about it.
"So, Kierra, will you go out with me this Sunday?"
"This isn't a joke, right? You're being serious?"
"Completely."
"And if my body is nowhere to be found once the date is over, then please assume your fanclub got to me and did something."
"Kierra."
Kierra laughed as she couldn't help it.
"I'm sorry, but I worry about your guys' fanclub as 3RACHA and personal ones. People get scary and crazy with this sort of stuff. You can't blame me."
"I'm here, aren't I? I'll take care of you and protect you from them."
"Oh, my hero." She sarcastically stated with a feign lovely expression.
"I'll try, if you'll have me." Chris stated with a loving gesture.
Kierra rolled her eyes, but nodded in agreement.
"Okay, Chris. I'll go out with you this Sunday. We'll see how this plays out."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
"Alright, so you take back on me losing your number, right?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Cool, so now about that rain check."
Chris laughed as he dodged a hit from Kierra.
"I thought the rain check was the date."
"No, that was just a date, date, that you agreed with me when I asked not that long ago. The rain check is still something from earlier that I would still like to claim."
"Ugh, seriously, bro, I hate you!"
Kierra made to swing at him again, but Chris caught her hand and then re-positioned them to holding hands instead before leading her back to her dorms.
"C'mon. We can make the rain check like a practice date for Sunday. We can have breakfast tomorrow."
"I hate mornings." Kierra whined as Chris chuckled beside her.
"Don't worry, Kierra, I'll be with you to make it better."
"Fine, you better."
"I will."
Hide ‘n Seek
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Sieun] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 3,412 Summary: Sieun thought she wasn’t playing hide and seek, but finds out later that Chan found her.
Warning: curse words. semi-proofread, not my best work tbh
oh, look another SKZ story with Bang Chan... lol oh well. anyways, this was inspired by Jerrilyn’s Hide ‘n Seek, but then it came out differently than i had wanted and i just wrote on thinking i could bring it back to how i may have wanted it, but nope. so this is the product of it and it’s there. lol so it’s whatever as i did have fun, but it isn’t what i really wanted for it. but yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Quick, hide me!"
Sieun heard a male voice announced in a panicked-like tone before looking up with a questioning expression. She spotted a familiar face and her lips quirked upwards as she wondered what her friend did this time around.
"What did you do, Jisung?"
"Nothing." Jisung answered as he tried to hide within Sieun's belongings.
"You have to have done something because you hardly hang out in the library and people rarely come to this side of it."
"Which is exactly a great hiding spot for me right now."
He grinned at her while shuffling around her things as he pushed her out from her desk and settled himself underneath it while bringing her back to cover him. Sieun had her own private-like table at a secluded area within the library. After hanging out here since her freshman year and doing a work study, she had gotten along super well with the librarians that they made this her spot. Of course, it wouldn't be when she graduated this year, but for the time being this area was hers and hers alone. It was a perfect place whenever she had to study or needed a sanctuary from everything else.
"Stay like this and act like I'm not here." Jisung instructed her. "And if someone asks for me, act like you don't know me."
Sieun didn't respond and continued her studying before she was interrupted. Jisung frowned believing that his friend didn't hear him and patted her thigh impatiently as he repeated what he had said before. Still, Sieun didn't react and Jisung pushed her out to pop out his head to glare at her.
"Did you not hear me?"
Sieun paused and looked down at him.
"You told me to act like you're not here and that I don't know you."
"Oh, at least acknowledged that fact so I would know that I'm not talking to air."
"Do you wanna get caught for whatever you did or do you want me to help you?"
"Alright, alright."
Jisung backed off as he returned back to his position while pulling Sieun's chair back into its place again. She smirked as she went back to her books before hearing another voice loudly muttering stuff. Jisung started to slightly freak upon hearing a familiar voice as he began tapping at Sieun's legs. She slightly kicked him to calm down and he stopped while letting out a quiet ow. Sieun didn't have time to laugh at her friend's misery as the other male's voice got louder. She frowned while trying to make out who was making their way back to her secret spot through the limited open spaces of the book shelves.
Sieun's eyes followed the stranger to be alert of his presence for when he rounded the last shelf and came to full view of her sight. Her whole demeanor became super confused when she spotted Sigma Kappa Zeta's Chan standing before her. Although she was a part of a sorority, but she was more low-key about her appearance and got all of her updates from her friends who were all from different houses if not her own. Sieun just didn't understand why someone like Chan was here and looking for her friend. Then it finally clicked a moment later. Jisung had joined Sigma Kappa Zeta just last year when her friend raved on and on about it after being accepted. Sieun had totally forgotten that fact.
"Oh, hi." Chan greeted her with an awkward smile. "Thought I would find someone else back here."
"Hi." Sieun greeted back out of politeness. "What kind of person were you thinking of finding?"
"Uh, a male that's part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Sorry, just me a female who's not part of any sororities." She lied about being a part of a sorority.
"Wait. Aren't you a part of Nu Chi Zeta?"
"No. That's my friend."
"Chi Rho Theta?"
"No. That's another friend."
"Mu Beta Beta?"
"Nope. Another friend."
"Alpha Gamma Sigma?"
"Once again, no. That's my other friend."
"I feel like I've seen you before." Chan stated with a pensive look as Sieun shrugged like she had no idea what he was talking about.
"Yeah, I dunno."
Sieun knew. She had classes with him over the years, but didn't want to state that.
"How many friends do you have in a sorority that you're not in any of the ones that I've mentioned and which one are you a part of?" Chan asked with a puzzled look.
Sieun cast the male a similar look before responding not really telling him the whole truth again.
"Just those four, but why are you asking me about that? Aren't you looking for someone right now?"
"Oh, right. I am."
Chan let out a cough as he sheepishly looked off to the side of him before casting his eyes onto Sieun again who went back to her materials.
"Say," He began, "You wouldn't happen to know someone name Jisung, right?"
"Define which Jisung." Sieun remarked with her focus still on her things. "There's quite a few of them on campus."
"Oh, right. Um, his name is Han Jisung. He's a second year and he's a part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Nope, never heard him. Sorry."
She cast Chan a wide smile in hopes that he would soon go away so that she could get rid of Jisung and return back to her own thing.
"Oh, okay. Well, if you happen to chance upon him in some way, tell him that Chan is looking for him."
"Which Chan? There's quite a few with that name, too."
"Bang Chan."
"Okay. Got it."
Sieun flashed him another smile as Chan partially got the hint.
"Okay, thank you."
Chan backed up, turned around, and was about to round the corner when he did a one-eighty and came back to face her.
"Why do you have your own desk at the back of the library?"
Sieun tried to not make a face at Chan's continuous questions of making conversations with her.
"Um, is that really important right now? I thought you needed to find someone?"
"He can wait. He actually has until the end of tonight before the game's over."
"What game?"
"Hide 'n Seek."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. The fra-"
"Wait," Sieun held up a hand for Chan to stop talking, "Houses are not supposed to reveal their secrets unless the person is a part of it."
Chan shut up immediately with widened eyes. He then pointed behind him.
"I'm just gonna go."
Sieun nodded in agreement not wanting to say anything. Chan cast her one last smile before turning around and finally leaving. Sieun was about to go back to her studies when she was sudden pushed backwards having forgotten about Jisung's hiding underneath her desk.
"Were you hitting on one of my frat bros?" Jisung questioned her while sitting on his knees now as he blocked her from resuming her studying.
"I wasn't hitting on anyone and your friend was talking to me. Not me to him." Sieun clarified.
"So why did you lie that you weren't a part of sorority?"
"Was there a need for him to know that I was a part of one? I'm graduating this year and won't see him or you ever again."
She chuckled after saying that causing the male to pout.
"Hey, that's not nice. I thought we were friends."
"We were never friends."
Jisung gasped before a playful look cross his face that Sieun caught. She spoke before he could act upon it.
"Mess with me and I'll make sure to tell Chan where you're hiding."
Jisung stopped and groaned.
"Ah, always ruining my fun."
"Right. You're the one that came to bother me."
"Oh, I did, didn't I?"
Sieun narrowed her eyes at her friend.
"Why did you come all the way here when there were other places to hiding places?"
"Because you're here."
Jisung immediately shut up, but Sieun didn't probed further on that topic not wanting to involved with it.
"Whatever. Why don't you just run along and leave me alone?"
"I can't. I have to hide out until midnight tonight."
"Why?"
"Because it's part of the game. And the game states that I-"
"Ah, ah, ah," Sieun interrupted him by placing a hand over his mouth, "You can't reveal your house's secrets."
Jisung removed her hand from his mouth as a mischievous smile graced his face.
"I don't like your face." Sieun said with an unsure expression and shied away from Jisung.
The male frowned before brushing off his friend's words.
"Anyways, are you busy tonight?"
Sieun met up with her four friends, Sumin, Seorin, Chaewon, and Nayoung at CLOVER for dinner. While eating and talking about what they were gonna do tonight, Sieun found out that they were also given a small-like white placard like hers from members of Sigma Kappa Zeta.
"Wait, you guys have one, too?" Sieun asked in disbelief while bringing hers out. "Mine's from Jisung."
"Mine's from Seungmin." Nayoung stated as she brought out hers. "He gave it to me like last week."
"Oh, I got one last week, too." Seorin said as she showed hers. "It's from a kid I tutor named Jeongin."
"Hyunjin." Chaewon inputted while placing hers on the table. "He gave it to be like weeks ago in case he forgot."
"Oh, then that leaves me." Sumin piped up with a laugh as she flashed hers. "Felix gave it to be this morning."
"Did they say what it was for though?" Sieun questioned them with a frown. "I don't want to be associated with any of this."
"Sieun, you're a part of the Greek Life, you're always gonna be associated with it." Chaewon remarked with a laugh.
"I only joined because you guys did and didn't think y'all were gonna join different ones then I pledged to."
"That's just how things work." Nayoung deadpanned before casting them all a look. "This thing starts at ten. Are we all going?"
"Of course." Sumin answered. "Felix said that if I don't show up with this thing, then he doesn't get any points or whatever it is."
"He told you everything?" Seorin asked Sumin.
"No. He almost did, but I stopped him before he let out his fraternity's secret."
"So, you're saying if we don't show up, then the boys' won't get their points or something like that?" Nayoung inquired as Sumin nodded. "Yeah, something like that."
"Hmm, then Jisung's gonna get jacked shit. Serves that kid right when he almost got caught this afternoon when I was in the library." Sieun replied with a smirked.
"Why? What happened?" Seorin asked interested. "Is this that kid that bothers you all the time?"
"Yes, but his member, Chan, came looking for him and he confused me with all of y'all."
Sieun scoffed as she looked at all of her friends.
"Do I even resemble any of you?"
The other four looked at one another with a knowing look before all staring at Sieun.
"What?" She asked cautiously. "I don't like how y'all's faces look."
Sieun found herself outside of Sigma Kappa Zeta along with her friends. She didn't want to show up, but they dragged her over. Her friends still didn't respond to her questions and told her that she'll find out on her own if she came to the event at Sigma Kappa Zeta. She disliked all of this a lot, but she knew that somewhere down within her that she liked it even just a little. She won't admit it to them openly of course.
"C'mon, let's get inside."
Seorin hooked her arms with Sieun and began pulling her towards the house.
"Ohh, yeah, let's!"
Sumin joined in and hooked arms with Sieun's other side. Sieun groaned as she try to move backwards, but Chaewon came from behind her and pushed her forward. Sieun sighed knowing that she wasn't going to be able to escape any time soon. The quintet walked up to the door with Nayoung knocking on the door. Soon enough the door opened revealing another member, Minho, on the other side.
"Hel-Nayoung?"
His brows furrowed upon seeing Nayoung standing there.
"What are you doing here?"
"This." Nayoung answered as she held out the placard.
Minho took the card and frowned after reading it.
"How do you know Seungmin?"
"That doesn't matter. The others have one, too."
Nayoung ignored the male's question and instead motioned for the other four to present their cards. Minho reluctantly took them while seeming impressed by them. He glanced at all five of them with a charming smile.
"Ladies," He motioned for them to enter the house, "Welcome to Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"I thought you weren't part of a sorority."
Sieun heard from behind her as she looked over to see who it was and realized it was Chan. She was on Sigma Kappa Zeta's rooftop having chosen this spot away from her friends and not wanting to be surrounded by other people. She hated crowds and being stuck at someone else's place that she wasn't comfortable with. Also she thought that no one would want to come outside due to the cold weather. After entering the frat house, Minho informed them that they were allowed to roam the area, but cannot leave the premises until the event was over at midnight.
"I'm not." Sieun lied wondering what made him still think she was.
"Well, the only way you're here tonight is that one of the members had to have given you a placard, right?"
Chan walked closer to her, but kept his distance.
"Yes." Sieun confirmed. "What of it?"
"The condition of the invitation was that it was to be given to a sorority member."
"Aren't you exposing your house's secrets though?"
Chan ignored her statement and continued speaking.
"You're part of Sigma Theta Iota."
Sieun continued to stay silent.
"You're Park Sieun."
Sieun laughed it off not sure where he was getting at.
"Okay, and? What are you trying to get at?"
"Han Jisung invited you."
"Okay, and?" Sieun repeated not really getting it.
Sieun glanced up at Chan still staying put while Chan came over and squatted beside her. Sieun shied away not sure why he was so close.
"Is there something you want from me?"
Chan cast her a charming smile.
"I found you."
"Excuse me?"
Sieun seemed composed on the outside, but she was totally freaking out on the inside. She really hoped that whatever Chan was gonna say next wasn't what she was thinking it to be. No one knew. Not even her friends. Not even Jisung.
"Where. After. Love. Now."
Or so she thought.
"How the fuck do you know that?"
She wanted her tone to be more firm and fierce, but it came out more like a harsh unbelievable whisper. She couldn't believe that Chan had somehow found out about her hashtag project on Instagram inspired by a Thai music video. Let's just say that the project was related to Chan in a way without his absolute knowledge.
"I happened to noticed it during the class we shared a few months back when I saw it when I sat behind you."
"You were spying over my shoulder?"
"What? No. I more or less just saw you scrolling the hashtag and images and got curious."
Sieun turned away from Chan freaking out silently at the prospect that Chan now discovered the images she took of him and the overall set up for it. She could not believe he of all people found out. Then her mind went wild and wondered if everything that happened today was because of his doing. Like Jisung coming to see her at the library to lead Chan there and then later giving her the card. Her friends giving her funny looks when she mentioned Chan confusing her for her friends of different sororities. She groaned quietly at having being the last person to be oblivious about it.
"I gotta go." Sieun abruptly stated while standing up with Chan quickly following after with a puzzled look. "Wait. Why?"
"I'm not feeling well. I feel exposed. I just, this is weird and I don't know how to go about this. So goodbye."
Before Sieun could run off, Chan reached out and took a hold of her hand. He pulled her towards him and Sieun looked everywhere else, but at him. Chan found it cute, but he was more confused as he thought that now it was out in the open she would react differently.
"Sieun."
Sieun grew alert, but she just couldn't face him.
"Please look at me."
She contemplated on doing that. She didn't have to as Chan moved so he would be in her line of sight. She finally focused her attention on him.
"Alright, Chan. What?"
It came out more hostile than she had meant it to.
"Sorry." She apologized while correcting her tone. "Alright, so you know it's me, but don't get all cliche and whatever."
Chan chuckled at her words.
"Okay, but you're the one that was like playing hide and seek this hold time."
"I wasn't playing anything. You were never meant to find it."
"But they were such great photos of me although you did take them when I didn't know about them."
"You have a lot of photos of yourself circulating around campus okay. Don't think I'm some weird stalker or whatever."
"I never did."
"Oh."
Sieun then remembered that Chan was holding her hand and tried to shake his grip on her hand, but he held onto it firmly.
"Aww, I thought this was what you wanted."
"There's a difference between what I created with that hashtag and real life."
"So why not make the hashtag real?"
"You know I would die by like all your little fangirls or whatever."
"Which ones?"
"You really gonna play dumb when you have a whole entourage of girls that wanna get with you, right?"
"I'm not. I just never really noticed them until you mentioned it."
Sieun rolled her eyes while eyeing their held hands.
"Okay, Chan. You know now and I know now, but why are you still holding onto my hand."
"Didn't I say to make Where After Love Now real?"
"Bullshit. Please don't tell me that you like me, too?"
"And if I do?"
"That's some cliche shit right there."
"You do know that we've had classes over the years together, right?"
"Yes, but why asked me about what sorority I was in then?"
"I was just testing you."
"For what?"
"If you would tell me who you were or not."
"And why would I go and do that?"
"It would've made it easier to talk with you instead of having Jisung set this up."
"So Jisung did know and this is now cliche."
"I mean, one way or another, it was bound to be cliche."
Sieun sighed as she looked at Chan expectantly.
"Alright, Bang Chan, what now?"
Chan smiled at her knowingly before pulling out his phone and waving at her.
"How about a picture to commemorate our official status?"
"Official status? The fuck. We're not a couple or even dating."
"Not yet, but this can be the start of it."
"Wow."
She wavered for a bit.
"Could we like, not, do it?"
"No. We're definitely doing it."
Before Sieun could reject the idea again, Chan took a photo of their held hands. He let go only to type away on his phone. A moment later, Sieun's phone dinged. She knew that Chan had just tagged her with whatever he did on Instagram.
"Look at your phone."
"I'll do it later."
"Okay. Let's make more."
"I would rather hide."
"And then I'll seek you out."
"There's really no escaping from you is there?"
"Nope. Seems like you're stuck with me."
"Okay, well it's not bad. We just have several months with one another before graduation and then off we go to other things away from one another."
Chan rolled his eyes before laughing a second later.
"It's okay. We can talk about all of that when the time comes for it."
"I guess, but alright. So what do you wanna do?"
"Is it midnight yet?"
Sieun checked her phone and saw that there was still half an hour left before then.
"No."
"Alright. Let's grab something to eat and let Jisung suffer."
"Ohh, I like that. Let him stay and hidden."
The pair laughed as they got off the rooftop.
Packed Lunches
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Kierra] Genre: idol!au, slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 1,197 Summary: Chris walks in on Kierra making packed lunches and he’s wondering who they’re all for.
the masterlist for Chris x Kierra
Warning: semi-proofread. lol
hi again. just something. also, you don’t really have to read any of the previous to understand this one. it just that it fits the characters and previous settings to seem like another part of it. other than that, this was supposed to turned out differently, but it ended like this. lol so yeah happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Chris quietly entered Kierra's apartment after receiving the current four digit code from Linna before arriving. He wanted to surprise her and knew his girlfriend's habits of changing the passcode every few weeks out of safety and being bored. Also, Chris knew that the main reason was so that he and the others wouldn't come over too much and bother them. Once entering, Chris didn't expect to hear his group's song playing as he assumed Kierra would be watching a drama or playing video games. So he followed Grow Up after setting his things down and ended up in the kitchen with Kierra making colorful lunch boxes and singing along to the song. A soft smiled graced his face as he watched her with a loving gaze.
~Stray kids everywhere all around the world! Stray kids everywhere all around the world! Stray kids everywhere all around the world! Stray kids everywhere all around the world!~
Kierra sang even though it was not part of the original lyrics while packing a yellow lunch box with steamed sausage and vegetable rice. The chant was used during concerts and Kierra couldn't help it as she sang the words. She really liked that version more as it was a memorable part of the experience. After chanting, Kierra just hummed the rest of the song as she finished packing the rice into all the lunch boxes unaware that her boyfriend was there. Chris continued to watch his girlfriend before wondering why she was packing so many lunch boxes in the first place. By now the song had changed and continued to play in the background.
"Why are you making so many?" Chris finally asked as he walked closer.
Kierra instantly turned her head and shot Chris a curious look. She quickly pressed the button on her phone to lower the volume while answering his question with another question.
"How did you get in?"
"Linna."
"Figures."
"So," Chris reached for one of the spinach and ham sandwich cut into fourths, "Who are you making these for?"
He stuffed the mini sandwich into his mouth while glancing at her awaiting an answer. Kierra briefly glanced at him before resuming her activity.
"The kids wanted some after seeing Linna with one." She answered as she carefully watch her boyfriend take a folded piece of egg this time. "They wouldn't leave me alone about it and since I have time now it just happened."
Chris was in mid-chew of the egg before frowning.
"You'll make my members packed lunches, but you won't do that for me?"
Kierra rolled her eyes with a small smile.
"Not your kids. My kids."
"Oh."
Chris chuckled sheepishly while finishing the rest of the egg, but then frown once again.
"So, you'll pack your colleagues a lunch box, but not for your boyfriend?"
Kierra rolled her eyes once again with a small laugh at her boyfriend's childish behavior.
"Because you've never asked."
"I'm pretty sure I have."
"Right. Anyways, why are you here?"
Chris moved closer to Kierra to wrap his arms around her waist to hug her tightly.
"To be with my girlfriend."
Kierra continued to packed the small containers with varies food items while letting her boyfriend cling to her like usual.
"You know that you're supposed to be either at work or your dorm, right?"
"Yes, but it's been so long since I last saw you and I have free time."
He nuzzled his face against hers while squeezing her softly in the process to indicate how much he had missed her. Kierra shied her head away to focus on the task at hand, but her boyfriend was proving that to be quite difficult.
"Could you at least let me finish before turning into a koala?"
Chris shook his head playfully as he tightened the hug. Kierra rolled her eyes, but continued despite the restriction of her movements.
"Y'know that you're making this quite difficult, right?"
"Yeah." Chris confirmed with a chuckle soon afterwards. "I do."
Kierra tired to reason with her boyfriend.
"If I make you a packed lunch, then will you behave?"
"Do I get more than you're already putting in it?" Chris asked while turning to face the delicious food.
"Yes. I'll give you more."
"Okay. I wanna see."
Kierra scoffed with a shake of her head, but did as she had told him of what she could do. She grabbed one of the larger empty containers to place the leftovers, but instead used it to fill an assortment of food inside it. Then she grabbed a second one and repeated the process as before. Once she was down she placed them side by side and motioned for her boyfriend to eat it.
"Alright, there you go."
Chris still clung to Kierra while analyzing the appealing meal before nodding in approval. Just as Chris released his girlfriend from his hug, the pair heard loud chatter due to many voices speaking all at once a moment later. Kierra already knew who they were and let out a deep sigh as Chris wrapped his arms around her again in a comforting manner while not trying to laugh at the situation.
"I know, I know."
Linna entered the kitchen along with Hyunjin while pointing a thumb behind her as the rest stayed in the living room to lounge around and play Kierra's game system.
"So the boys wanted to come over when they found out that their leader was here."
She cast the pair a weird look before smirking.
"Aww, were you guys about to have a moment?"
"No." Kierra answered with Chris saying otherwise. "Yes."
Kierra eyed her boyfriend as he shot her a loving look while giving her a soft squeeze. Hyunjin spotted the table filled with food and rushed on over.
"Oh? Can I try some?" Hyunjin asked while glancing up at Kierra with pleading eyes.
"Yeah, go ahead." She gave him permission as the younger male happily took a riceball.
Linna came closer and plucked a broccoli from the plate and into her mouth.
"Was all of that supposed to be for the kids at work?" She asked after swallowing the vegetable.
"Yes, but now, it isn't." Kierra responded as Linna smiled.
"I'll help you make more later."
"No. It's fine. I didn't tell them that I was making them lunch, anyways."
"So, that means we can eat this?" Hyunjin asked a moment later after having eaten one of the mini sandwiches.
"Yeah, no point in making more when this is enough." Kierra confirmed with a small smile.
"Okay. Lemme get change."
"Okay."
Linna pulled her boyfriend along with her as to leave the couple alone before interrupting them.
"I still get those two to myself, right?" Chris asked wanting to confirm while motioning with his head to the two containers that Kierra had prepped for him earlier.
She shot her boyfriend a look with a wry smile.
"No, you do not. You'll have to share."
Chris frowned upon hearing those words while letting go of his girlfriend as Kierra chuckled.
"Next time I'll make one that's just for you."
"Really?"
"Really."
Chris happily returned his arms around Kierra once again.
"You're the best."
"Fight me!" Jisung exclaimed towards Kierra as he stood up from his place on the floor after losing to Hyunjin in a game.
It was the reason why he was picking a fight in the first place with her as she had commented about his subpar gaming skills.
"Unfortunately, I have a rule against battling children." Kierra informed her friend nonchalantly while playing on her phone as she lied on the sofa.
"Since when?" Linna questioned from the other end of the sofa. "I thought Jisung was the best brat for you to pick on?"
"I am not a child or a brat!" Jisung disagreed with both of their statements as he ran up to where Kierra was and plucked her phone from out of her hands.
"Hey! Give it back, Jisung."
Jisung ran off within the living space while cackling as Kierra gave chase. Hyunjin decided to cuddle up next to Linna and abandoned the game as the couple watched as Kierra pounced on Jisung causing the both of them to crash to the floor. Hyunjin leaned his head closer to Linna.
"Please remind me to never get on your sister's bad side."
Linna chuckled while shooting him a cheeky look.
"You should worry more about getting on my bad side than hers, Hyunjin."
"You're right, Linna. You're absolutely right." Hyunjin agreed with a smile as he leaned closer to peck his girlfriend.
He then cast his gaze onto his member and friend afterwards.
"Um, shouldn't we break it up though?"
"No. Jisung would just annoy Kierra again and repeat the same process." Linna answered nonchalantly. "I don't wanna meddle with their antics with each other."
Kierra was currently giving Jisung a headlock while partially lying on top of him.
"Give up?" Kierra asked as Jisung shook his head. "No."
After a few more moments Kierra was getting tired of this and let Jisung go.
"Alright, kid, leave me alone. I'm bored and tired now."
She rolled off of him and went to locate her phone while resting on the floor. Jisung tiredly swatted at the air and missed her body while speaking.
"You were the one that started it in the first place."
"All I did was just stating facts."
At that time Chris had returned back to the dorms and spotted the four in the living room with a questioning brow.
"Do I wanna know?" He asked while looking from one to the other before landing on his girlfriend. "Kierra?"
Kierra's response was just waving a dismissive hand not really wanting to talk about it. On the other hand, Jisung was more than willing to explain.
"Your girlfriend was picking on me."
"I was not."
"Do something about her."
"What? Me? Fuck no. Do something t-eee."
Kierra didn't finish her sentence as she let out a muffled squeal upon Chris lifting her up bridal style. She groaned as he chuckled while re-positioning the placement of his girlfriend to make Kierra fit in his arms comfortably. Kierra finally glanced at her boyfriend and let out a small gasp upon noticing his hair.
"You're blond. You're blond again? You're really blond again?"
Chris laughed sheepishly with a nod although he didn't missed the tone of his girlfriend's voice that she wasn't pleased with it.
"You didn't know?" The other two Stray Kids member chorused as Linna responded instead. "Kierra doesn't noticed stuff like that until like later than everyone else."
"I can't believe you're blond again! But why oh why? Why are you blond again?!" Kierra asked with judging eyes.
Chris was gonna replied, but his girlfriend kept fussing in his arms and he set her down.
"What was wrong with your dark haired though?" Kierra asked still upset that her boyfriend's dark hair was gone once again when he put her down.
"Why are you so upset about his hair?" Hyunjin asked as Linna shushed him before answering. "Don't bring it up. She's been happy to know that his head wasn't getting fried for like a year."
"So what? Kierra, your hair has been blonde for like five years." Jisung remarked as Kierra scowled down at the male.
"Yeah, but I've been letting my roots grow in since last year."
She side-glanced Chris' hair with a huff, but didn't say anything else. Chris shot her an apologetic look while grabbing a hold of her hand in the process.
"It's gonna be fine, Kierra."
"Is it, Chris?"
Hyunjin leaned his head to whispered in Linna's ear again.
"Are they really gonna fight about hair colors?"
"Not really. Kierra's just being a butt about it since she really liked Chris' dark hair a lot." Linna reassured her boyfriend with a chuckle. "Don't worry about it."
"Chan, could you just take your sulking girlfriend somewhere else. She's making me tired." Jisung suggested as he suddenly felt a soft kick to his leg.
"I am not sulking and I'm the one that should be tired because of you."
"Says you."
Before Kierra could give a kick to Jisung again, she felt a slight tug from her hand and was led away from the others and towards Chris' shared bedroom to which was empty for the time being. Linna called out to Chris not wanting to deal with a moody sister on the way home later.
"Chris, please do cheer her up because I do not want her to rant about this all the way home when we leave."
"I'm not gonna rant." Kierra denied although there was still a bit of sulkiness to her tone.
"Will do!" Chris said back with a wave of his hand as Kierra frowned.
"What are you doing?"
Chris' gaze set itself on his girlfriend with a knowing smile.
"C'mon, I know what will cheer you up and forget about my hair for the time being."
"If it's nothing but cuddles and only cuddles, then I'll just go back home instead."
"Don't try to deny it. I know, you know, you love my cuddles just as much as you love my singing."
"Yeah, yeah. What ever makes you happy." Kierra said nonchalantly as Chris cast her a lovingly look.
"I'm happy as long as you're happy."
Kierra returned the same look as the color of her boyfriend's hair didn't matter so much anymore.
Never Forget
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Kierra] Genre: idol!au, slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 1,166 Summary: Chris visits Kierra in hopes of cheering her up as from what he’s been informed by Linna that she’s been feeling down.
the masterlist for Chris x Kierra
Warning: none, i think
the title is based on DMTN’s newest release of the same name because it’s on repeat and i didn’t know what else to titled it and leaving as is. the other thing is that i’ve been feeling this type of way since even before Chan released 인정하기 싫어. so it’s just that type of mood you usually fall into, but not sure if that’s just me as i’ve been listening to OOR’s Heartache, too. but it’s also the reason why i actually haven’t been in the mood to write and even though i try, it doesn’t last that long and i need to move from one thing to another. but it’s not all that angsty tbh, so no worries. i’ll try to work on the other request that i have, but i’m really having trouble with that as i even had a tough time in wanting to write this to get it out of my head and what not. but yeah, this one is standalone and don’t need to be read with the others to make sense. just adding it to the ChrisxKierra pair. lol so yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Chris entered Kierra's apartment to once again surprise his girlfriend just like last time. Although this time around he was informed by Linna that Kierra's been in a weird mood lately and suggested for him to come and cheer her up when he had the time. Luckily, he had free time and came to do just that despite his busy schedule. When Chris inputted the same code from last time he was curious as to what Kierra's mood was like since the pass-code hadn't changed. His curiosity was piqued when he heard music loudly playing and followed the sound after placing his things on the floor and taking off his shoes.
Chris walked towards the kitchen and spotted Kierra's back while making something as her body swayed to the beat of the same song that he heard was playing. He gazed at her lovingly wondering who she was listening to as he had never heard the song before. Chris wondered even more when he realized that the same song played again after it was over. Chris realized that Kierra had the song on repeat when it played a second time since he's been there. He slightly frowned upon listening to the lyrics as it seemed it was about an unforgettable love and the feelings of being sorry.
~After a hard day, you became the place to go back~
Chris' ears perked up upon faintly hearing Kierra's singing voice. He knew that his girlfriend wasn't much of a singer and that she hardly ever wanted to sing in general, but when she really enjoyed a song she would unconsciously sing aloud parts of it. Without realizing it himself, but Chris' legs moved on their own and towards Kierra as he wrapped his arms around her waist for a back-hug. He snuggled against her wanting to let her know that he was there for her.
~You light up my world, I'll never forget it, I will hug all the sad times~
Kierra had sung the chorus bit while making rice balls and stopped once she felt arms unexpectedly encircled from behind her. She slightly tensed upon the contact as she glanced down to stare at what it was before glancing over her left shoulder when she felt something placed itself there. A small smile graced her lips when she realized it was just her boyfriend being all cuddly with her. Kierra instantly relaxed her postured and lowered the volume of the music as she returned back to making rice balls before speaking.
"So what's the special reason for your Honey-Caramel-Vanilla-Chocolate-Sugar-Warm-Fuzzy-and-Cuddly hug, hmm?"
Chris chuckled while re-positioning his head so that his chin was now resting on Kierra's shoulder instead of his cheek. He casually watched as she continued making the various rice balls.
"Linna messaged me earlier that you've been down lately since she heard you replaying my song, Hate to Admit, when it was released. Another song with 'heartache' in it and more other related songs. She told me to come by and cheer you up when I could."
Kierra scoffed.
"Of course she would, but I'm not really feeling down per se. I was listening to some older songs and then when I listened to Hate to Admit when it came out it got me feeling some type of way. I was also listening to ONE OK ROCK's Heartache at the same time, too, so it's just..."
Kierra wasn't sure how to word it, but Chris understood what she was feeling and trying to explain.
"It's just one of those days, right? When you're just feeling that sort of way."
"Yeah, something like that."
"It's all good. I know what you mean."
"Thanks."
"Welcome."
A comfortable silence fell between them shortly afterwards as the only sound was from the same song still playing and Kierra making rice balls. Chris broke it a moment later.
"So, who are you listening to now?"
"Oh, it's DMTN's Never Forget. It just got released a few hours ago and I'm hoping that they'll release a music video for it though."
"Ah, that's why I haven't heard it year and it won't have one?"
"Not sure. This is in celebration of their tenth anniversary this year, but their first comeback in like seven years."
"Oh, you must be a big fan of them."
"Mmhmm."
Kierra let out a chuckle before speaking soon after.
"I am multi-fandom. Also, before I was a STAY, I was a Dalmate, too."
"Yes, yes. You remind me of your multi-fandom love often, but that's a cute fandom name though."
"It is. Anyways, are you gonna let go or am I gonna have to reason with you?"
"Can't you reason with me while I still continue to hug you?"
"I thought you're Honey-Caramel-Vanilla-Chocolate-Sugar-Warm-Fuzzy-and-Cuddly hugs were only for special occasions."
"It still is."
Chris hugged Kierra tighter and nuzzled his face against hers. Kierra try to shy away even though she knew it was futile. Still she didn't want to give up just yet.
"I'm pretty sure someone has a very busy schedule that they need to focus on, right?"
"Who?"
"You."
"It's okay. I'm always able to make time for you."
"Don't forget STAYs."
"True, too."
"You're members."
"Also, true."
Kierra huffed as Chris laughed. Kierra partially gave up.
"Fine. If that's how you wanna play. If you keep this up that laptop of yours will get stolen like they want."
"At least I know who the culprit will be."
"At least I'll have the full demo version of I Am You."
Chris chuckled again, but didn't respond. Kierra sighed as she held up the finished rice ball she just molded towards her boyfriend's face.
"Here."
Chris smiled happily as he leaned closer and took a bite of it.
"It's good."
"That's good. Now take it and go eat over there by yourself."
"But I don't want to unless you join me."
"I will if only someone would behave so I could finish the rest of these."
"Okay!"
Chris plucked the bitten rice ball from out of Kierra's hand and went to the small table to finish it while leaving his girlfriend to make the rest. It was short-lived when loud chatter could be heard a moment later and Linna's voice calling out for Kierra.
"Kierra, hope you started dinner! The rest of the boys are here."
"Seriously?" Kierra mumbled to herself.
She groaned before psyching herself.
"Alright, working on it!" Kierra called back before shooting her boyfriend a look.
"This is why y'all need to stay at your place instead of coming here when you're free."
Chris cast Kierra a sheepish look as he ate the rest of the rice ball before speaking.
"How about I actually give you that full demo of I Am You to make up for it?"
Kierra shot her boyfriend another look, but didn't respond as she started another task to prepare dinner.
"And I'll help you make dinner, too." Chris offered as he got back up and assisted his girlfriend.
Scavenger Hunt
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Serena] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff, slight angst Word Count: 3,623 Summary: Serena finds herself doing a scavenger hunt with her friends and somehow she ends up getting more out of it than she had originally thought of going about it.
Warning: curse words and semi-proofread
someone please get chan away from me. this is the third story that features him consecutively and... i dunno whether to be happy or not. maybe i shouldn’t have gone with my sister to see them again in LA lol but oh well. at least he’s getting me to write and my sister’s bias for is becoming a little clearer lol but yeah, i’ve been wanting to write a scavenger hunt like story inspired by Sleepover, but it didn’t help until now and i’m quite happy. it was supposed to go a different way, but somehow it didn’t and y’all got this instead lol so yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Hey, let's do a scavenger hunt!" Jasmine announced excitedly as she looked at her roommates.
"You wanna do one right now?" Katherine questioned with a quirked brow. "Really?"
Melanie let out a chuckle with a shake of her head.
"Don't tell me you were inspired by the movie we just watched right now, Jasmine."
"Yeah, why not, Melanie?" Jasmine said with a giddy tone. "We got nothing else to do tonight and Sleepover just gave me some fun feels."
"Says you." Serena countered. "I have plans with my bed for a long night."
Jasmine cast her friend a mischievous look.
"Why not have plans for a long night with an actual body that would actually give you a good reason to be sore."
Serena tossed her pillow at her friend due to her suggestive words while Jasmine caught the pillow in mid-air with a loud laugh.
"You know you wouldn't mind, Serena."
Serena didn't respond back, but just shot her friend a hard stare.
"Ohh, if Serena plays along, then I totally know what to do for her on the list!" Katherine interjected with a playful look.
"O-M-G, yes!" Jasmine agreed with laughter. "I know what you're thinking, Katherine."
"I'm not playing." Serena stated with a straight face. "I don't have time for y'all's game."
"Oh, but it's a fun game because this would be such a great excuse for you to get with a certain frat boy." Katherine sing-song.
Melanie joined in on the teasing.
"Ohh, are you talking about you-know-who, Katherine?"
"Yes, the one from Sigma Kappa Ze-"
"Ugh, please don't. It just brings back bad memories." Serena groaned.
"It's only bad on your end." Melanie clarified as Serena still groaned.
"Well, yeah, because I thought he also had feelings for me, but he was just being really nice to me and I read the gestures and signals wrong."
"But did you ever like made sure of that though?" Jasmine reasoned.
"No."
"See, you didn't even get a clear answer from Chris." Katherine said with an obvious tone.
"I'm pretty sure it was clear when Chris and Sana kissed on multiple occasions and were always together everywhere." Serena informed them.
"When?" The trio chimed at once as Serena dismissed the subject. "Forget it. We don't hang out anymore or talk."
"Yeah, but do you even try to message him?" Melanie remarked and Serena shook her head. "I don't bother."
"Wait," Katherine interjected with a confused expression, "Don't you have a class with him this semester?"
"I do, but he's always surrounded by his entourage and a group of girls so I don't bother. Anyways, don't you guys have a scavenger hunt to do?"
Serena once again try directing the conversation away from her.
"Hahaha, we do and you're totally joining us!" Jasmine exclaimed somehow already having written out the list and showing the others it.
"No, I'm not." Serena declined. "I'm pretty sure I made myself clear.
"Oh, yeah you are." The other two chimed with Jasmine going further. "Besides, you need to just relax and have some fun. You've been cooped up at the dorm this whole semester, anyways."
"Not even. I've gone out." Serena defended herself.
"Going to classes and a boba run doesn't count." Katherine remarked as Serena rolled her eyes.
"Still going out and I'm not participating in y'all's little scavenger hunt."
"Yes, you are." The three repeated in sync while casting Serena a knowing smile.
"No. I'm. Not." She enunciated with a firm tone.
Some time later Serena found herself walking down Greek row with Melanie in the middle of the night as the pair stopped just outside the fraternity house of Sigma Kappa Zeta with a dreadful expression upon her face.
"Ugh fuck my life." She groaned while rubbing her face in annoyance. "All because I don't wanna chip in for the next getaway trip."
"Hell yeah. We're traveling longer this time around." Melanie informed her with a playful smile. "Besides, we need to win so we don't have to pay."
Serena made a face before following Melanie up to the fraternity's sign to take a selca to prove that they were at the location and marked off the first thing on the list.
"One down. Four more to go." Melanie cheered as she looked over at Serena. "Ready?"
"No." Serena deadpanned as she also looked at the list on her phone to re-read the contents of it.
"Raid a member's room. Wear a member's clothes. Hug a member. Kiss a member. Wow, seriously?"
She cast her friend an incredulous look.
"This aint no scavenger hunt list, Melanie. It's like a boyfriend hunt list."
Melanie grinned at her knowingly.
"That's what Jasmine had planned it to be. Now let's go."
Serena still made a face while letting out another sigh before talking.
"Honestly, I could just back out of this whole thing and not even go on the trip."
Serena then cast Melanie a look who was already staring at her knowingly.
"Then again, you three would still drag me along and if so, then I would not wanna pay for the trip, anyways."
"Obviously." Melanie stated as she cast Serena a look. "Now, let's go."
Serena ran a hand through her hair while following her friend.
"How exactly do you plan on getting inside?"
"I'm not. You are. You're the one that has the connection."
"I don't have any connections. That's you."
"But isn't Yang Jeongin your step-brother?"
"Yeah, but he's not in Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Are you sure? Because I've seen him hanging out with Chris though."
"I don't really keep up with his activities, besides aren't you dating someone from Sigma Kappa Zeta?"
"Yeah, but it's too easy to do that and Jasmine doesn't allowed me to contact Minho like she can't contact Johnny to get inside Nu Chi Theta and has Katherine doing all the work like I'm doing with you."
Melanie held up her phone for Serena to read the same list Jasmine had sent Melanie, but with an extra text to it.
"Of course this would happen."
Serena sighed as Melanie chuckled in response as she waited knowing that Serena would give in.
"Ugh, fine. Let's get this done and over."
Serena let out a sigh before going through the contacts list of her mobile device and found the name she was looking for. She held the cellular phone to her ear and waited for the person on the other end to pick up.
"Hey, In." Serena greeted her little brother in a friendly tone. "Are you part of Sigma Kappa Zeta?"
Melanie laughed when she witnessed Serena's reaction to finding out that her step-brother was a member of Sigma Kappa Zeta.
"Since when were you part of a fraternity?" Serena asked her brother in an incredulous tone. "Wait, never mind. Are you at your dorm?"
Serena eyed Melanie who was laughing at her and she rolled her eyes while answering Jeongin.
"So, okay, can you somehow let me and my friend inside the house?"
Serena and Melanie found themselves in Jeongin's room that he shared with another member, Jisung, that the two girls also knew.
"You're dating Minho and you're Jeongin's step-sister?" Jisung asked while pointing at the respective person he addressed.
"Yes." The pair chimed.
"Since when?" Jisung asked totally confused.
"It's only been like three months." Melanie answered. "We haven't made it public, but we're not doing anything in secret either. It's honestly just about us and no one else's business."
"Okay." Jisung said with a nod before looking between Serena and Jeongin. "And you two? I didn't even know and I've known you the longest, Jeongin."
"Uh, our parents met a long while back, but they just got married recently." Jeongin answered. "Besides, Serena and I just go with the flow."
"Yeah, basically. Anyways, we're here to do something so would y'all just like let us do our thing and we'll be out of here."
"What would that be?" The male pair chimed as Melanie showed them the list.
"Oh, you, two?" Jeongin said as he pulled out his phone to show a list. "We have to do something similar."
Serena read the short list aloud.
"Take a picture with the opposite sex wearing the same color shirt as you. Make a heart above your head with the opposite gender as you."
Serena glanced at the trio with a weird face.
"What's up with these scavenger hunt lists?"
Melanie shrugged but smile at the thought while looking over at the boys.
"Alright, cool. You help us and we'll help you!"
"I'm game as long as I get to do all the skinship stuff with Serena." Jisung exclaimed with a giddy expression as Serena groaned. "Why do you have to bother me so much about all this?"
"Because you're never nice to me and now you have to be."
"Okay, fine. Sure, whatever." Serena gave in as the other two laughed with Jisung doing a victory dance.
"Aww, now I have blackmail photos to get you to do my bidding." Jisung cooed while going through his phones of the images he had of him and Serena.
"Blackmail, my ass. Those are photos and aren't that compromising." Serena stated with an indifferent look. "Besides, who told you to take so many of me trying on your clothes?"
"I did." Melanie admitted with a laugh while going through her phone of her photos. "We're definitely not paying for the expenses of our next trip for sure."
She showed Serena the group chat of her, Serena, Katherine, and Jasmine.
"The other two only sent the frat house of Nu Chi Theta. Katherine said they got caught by Johnny and now he won't let Jasmine complete the list."
The female pair chuckled as Serena sighed happily.
"Alright, cool. Now we can leave."
Jeongin stopped Serena from getting up from his bed.
"Actually, you can't, but Melanie can." Jeongin informed his sister as she cast him a weird look.
"Why not?"
"Because Minho and I are gonna have a late night date." Melanie answered instead with a cheeky smile.
"Why are you gonna have a late night date? We're we supposed to head back when this was over?"
"Yeah, but plans changed. Bye." Melanie replied as she hurried on out of the room.
Upon opening the door, on the other side stood Minho and one other person who Serena was not looking forward in seeing. Chris.
"For real?" Serena sighed in disbelief as cast Jeongin a look.
Jeongin cast her a slow and innocent smile, but she glared at him. Jeongin shrugged indifferently with a knowing look and Serena turned her head away.
"Thanks for taking care of my girl, fellas." Minho thanked the two younger males with a wave while taking a hold of Melanie's hand and leading her out.
Chris stayed behind as he smiled at his members before his smile widened upon seeing Serena. Jisung caught the look Chris gave Serena and glanced between the two with a playful smile.
"Serena!" Jisung exclaimed as he bounced over to the female and glomped her while her attention was elsewhere.
"No! Jisung!" Serena squealed when she felt the male's weight upon her while trying to avoid him, but ended up re-positioning the two in a lying manner.
To the other two, it looked a little more intimate than it should have. Jeongin glanced at Chris with a terrified look, but Chris remained calm and collect to which kinda  through Jeongin off a bit as Chris was the reason why he told his sister that she couldn't leave.
"Hey, do you have a boyfriend?" Jisung suddenly asked Serena while lying on top of her.
Serena pushed his face and body away from her as she sat back up while answering him.
"No, but why are you asking?"
She held up a hand while standing up.
"Wait, never mind. I don't wanna know."
Then she just waved them off while walking passed Chris without a care.
"I'm going home, but thanks for the pictures. I'll send a postcard from wherever we decide to go."
Once Serena exited the room did she make a mad dash down the hall, down the stairs, and had just barely opened the door before it was slammed shut a second later. She silently scolded herself for not being quick enough and tentatively gazed to see a familiar looking hand above her that had closed the door. Immediately Serena became all too aware of the presence behind her even though there was a space between them. She did not want to turn around, but knew that she would eventually have to do so if she wanted to leave Sigma Kappa Zeta and get back to her own dorm building. As Serena slowly turned around to face Chris, his name got caught in her throat and she was unable to greet the male and just looked at him quietly and awkwardly.
"Serena." Chris said her name firmly with a knowing smile, but Serena instantly felt there was another meaning to it and she couldn't figure it out.
Luckily or her though, she was able to find her voice and greeted him back.
"Chris. Hi. It's been a long time."
"I'm pretty sure we saw each other earlier today in class."
"Oh, right. We did"
She then eyed him.
"But I'm sure you were too distracted by all of your friends to notice me anyways."
"You do know that you're one of my friends, too, right?"
"No, not really." Serena answered him honestly with a shrug. "It's hard to stay in contact when there's no time to hang out or talk. Everyone's busy."
"Right." Chris drawled out like he didn't agree with her words.
He regarded Serena for a bit, but didn't remove his hand away from the door and she still seemed partially trapped with his arm to the right of her. The two just stared at one another not saying anything, but Serena grew antsy with this whole situation that the two of them were in.
"So, if there's nothing else to talk about, I think I'm gonna go. See you in class next Monday."
Serena was able to turn around, but she was unable to open the door due to Chris' other hand coming from the other side and held it in place. Now she was definitely caged in and she wasn't sure how to read the situation anymore. Every time and any time it had to do with Chris, Serena couldn't for sure read on how to go about it. Still though, Serena didn't have the patience or tolerance to deal with it this time around as she felt like she had nothing to gain out of it at all.
"Is there a reason on why you won't let me leave?" Serena asked in a tired tone.
"Yeah." Came his answer. "There's a good few."
"A good few?"
She turned around puzzled despite the small space he had provided for her movements.
"What are they?"
Chris didn't drop his arms and kept them in place while he answered her with an amused look.
"One, when did you and Jeongin even become siblings, Two, why have you been ignoring my complete existence since earlier this year. Three, since when were you and Jisung even super close and how. Four, why are you even at Sigma Kappa Zeta's house in the first place? Five, honestly, I just miss you, Serena."
As much as she wanted that last line to even mean something, but Serena didn't want that hope to live within her.
"Chris, it's late. We have classes tomorrow and our own lives to get to. Do you really wanna do this?"
"Yes, I do."
Serena was surprised by his answer as he looked at her seriously. She has never seen him like this before and wondered if her absence made a difference. Still she shook off those thoughts inwardly and gave him a tired look.
"You may want to back off or your members will think something's going on between us and tell your girlfriend about it."
"Then let them."
"I don't have time for your flirting right now, Chris."
"I'm not flirting, Serena. I'm being serious."
"You can't have a girlfriend and try to do something with me, Chris. I don't roll like that and that's just messed up."
"It's not if I don't have a girlfriend, Serena."
"Chris, you're with Sana."
"It was just a very casual thing. That stopped when I noticed that you weren't looking my way since then."
Serena scoffed.
"Why would I look your way when I believed that you and Sana were a thing, Chris? I'm not a homewrecker or about to be one just because I like you or whatever. Plus, the distance did me good to keep my mind off of you. Until now."
The duo once again just stared at the other not sure what else to say to the one another. Serena wondered where the rest of the people were at as she and him have been like that for a good while and thought someone would have walked in on their little predicament.
"Chris-"
"Look, Serena, honestly," Chris interrupted her, "It didn't really click until you stopped messaging me and responding to my calls. I just thought you needed space or something, but even then you didn't greet me when I waved or said hi. So, I knew I fucked up somewhere, but didn't think it was that big of a deal."
"Okay, you fucked up and now you noticed I'm not giving you the attention that you wanted, Chris. What of it? You think this whole thing is gonna put us right back to where we left off?" She asked him wondering if this was what he had intended all along.
"No. I don't want to go back to where we left off." Chris answered which threw off Serena.
"Then what do you want?"
"I want to start over with you."
"Start over with what?"
"Everything, Serena."
Serena was confused on what he was trying to get at and Chris let out a frustrated sigh before explaining.
"I want to get to know you better like we haven't met before. I want to start out as acquaintances that become friends all over again and then moved onto something even more than that. I want a relationship with you, Serena. I like you that I want to establish a relationship with you. That's what I'm trying to let you know."
"Wow. All of that in one go, huh?" Serena asked in disbelief.
She still couldn't quite believe it.
"Did Melanie put you up to this? Did Jisung or even Jeongin? Are you playing with me? Because if yo-"
Serena instantly shut up when Chris' face leaned in closer to hers and he held a steady gaze with her. She held her breath and leaned away as much as possible not wanting him to do something so cliche if he was gonna do it to shut her up and show her that he was serious.
"I'll answer your questions once you answer mine."
Serena frowned.
"What questions?"
"The five reasons I told you earlier."
"Oh, that."
She tried to recall what they were and Chris smiled upon seeing her facial expression in thinking. It lessen the tension between them and he felt like he had gotten back the moments he used to have with Serena before it shifted.
"Jeongin and I became siblings just this year, but our parents have been dating for a while. I used to tutored Jisung several years back and that brat has been bugging me since then. He also knows how to push my buttons and so we just ended up being friends in a weird sort of way." She answered his question while trying to avoid two of them. "Also I'm here at your fraternity house because Melanie and our other two friends wanted to do a scavenger hunt after watching a movie."
"And?" He probed for two more responses.
"And that's it."
She smiled up at him.
"Serena." He warned, but Serena didn't care. "Chris."
He leaned even closer and she was unable to avoid the close proximity causing her to cave in.
"Fine. I missed you, too, and I ignored you because I didn't want to see you if Sana was gonna be around you like all the time. It hurt, okay."
She eyed him without trying to stare at how close he was to her.
"Now it's your turn to answer my questions."
Chris smiled before giving her responses to her questions.
"No one put me up to this, but when I saw the images that Jisung and Jeongin had sent me about their scavenger hunt list with you in it got me kinda riled up. So I just had to figure out what you were doing with them and luckily, Jeongin helped out a great deal."
"Of course he would."
"Also, I never played with you. I always thought it was playful bantering and you enjoyed it. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression."
"Well, thanks for clearing that up."
She eyed him again and felt like he somehow even gotten closer than before.
"Alright, Chris, if you could back up so I can breathe easier without having to worry if you're gonna kiss me or not, that would be great."
"Do you want me to kiss you?"
"That would be lovely, but-"
And that's what Chris did as his arms eventually wound them around Serena in a warm and safe embrace. Serena encircled her arms around Chris' waist and returned the kiss Maybe the scavenger hunt wasn't so bad after all she thought.
My Style
Pairing: SKZ’s Chan x OC [Genevy] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 1,867 Summary: Genevy’s style is that if she likes someone, then she likes them. She’s just not admitting to her sister and friend of liking Chan although they know for sure that she’s just in denial about her feelings for him.
Warning: curse words. basically about it.
so, this piece was originally to something i wrote almost like 5 years ago, but i changed the person who i had originally wrote with. saw SKZ in concert and i’m just trying to release some feels haha but anyways, yeah the boys are great and if you get a chance go see them in concert. or anyone in concert that you can. it’s fun and a great experience. but um, yeah that’s about it so happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Genevy joined her sister and friend at the campus' cafeteria after getting out of her late morning class. Somehow they got on the topic of Genevy's love life.
"Why won't you just date me, Genevy?" Jisung asked with an obvious tone.
Genevy cast him a disgusted look.
"I will never date you, Jisung." Genevy stated while pointing at her sister across from her.
"You dated Esther and that's just messed up if I date you afterwards. Plus, you're totally not my style."
"Then what is your style?" He asked, but Esther interjected with a knowing look before Genevy could reply.
"Her style is Bang Chan style."
"No, it's not. My style is that if I like you, then I like you." Genevy denied, but the other two didn't believe her.
"You like Chan?" Jisung asked with a disbelief look. "I knew something was fishy between the two of you."
"There's nothing going on between us."
"Wait, what do you mean, Jisung?" Esther asked leaning towards the male. "I wanna know and she never tells me anything even though I know she's lying."
"I saw these two hanging out the other night as Chan walked her back to her dorm."
"Ohh, is that why you came back late that day?" Esther cooed at her sister wanting the details. "C'mon, just tell the truth."
"I already told you. Chan just walked me back to the dorm after I got out of class that night."
"Yeah, but doesn't your class end at nine though?" Jisung reasoned. "Why were you two hanging out until almost midnight?"
"It does and I dunno." Genevy answered with a shrug. "Chan and I were just talking about some random shit that made time fly by. He was the one that joined me in getting food since I was hungry and hadn't eaten all day that day."
"Oh, really?" The duo cooed in a smug matter as Genevy rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, y'all just making this all to be bigger than what it is. It's totally nothing."
"But I remember you being super flustered when you came back that night though." Esther recalled as Genevy instantly grew quiet.
"Oh, did something happened?" Jisung said as he leaned forward interested. "What happened that night, Genevy?"
"Nothing, Jisung. Nothing happened so back off. Besides, why are we talking about this right now?"
"Because you keep playing hard to get and denying your feelings." Esther remarked with a smirk as Genevy frowned.
"Gah you're so annoying."
"That's what little sisters are for."
"Ugh, you're just as bad as Jisung."
"What did I do?" Jisung looked up from his meal offended.
"Everything." The sisters chimed while chuckling as Jisung rolled his eyes.
"And y'all say I'm the annoying one."
Before the sisters could counter, another person joined their table and sat right next to Genevy.
"Chan, hi." Jisung greeted the other person with a wide smile. "We were just talking about you."
"Oh, yeah, why?" Chan asked as he glanced at the two across from him while casting a softer gaze onto the person next to him who avoided his existence.
"Because Ge-"
Genevy interrupted Jisung and looked over at Chan with a neutral expression.
"What are you doing here, anyways? Aren't you supposed to be in class right now?"
"You're confusing my days. I don't have a class right now. That's tomorrow. I thought I told you this?"
"She has a bad memory." Esther explained with a laugh before looking back and forth between her sister and the male with a curious look. "Is there something going on between the two of you?"
Just as Genevy was about to deny once again, Chan spoke before she could.
"Oh yeah. I came to pick up your sister for our afternoon date."
"Ohh, really?" Esther cooed while wriggling her eyebrows up and down.
"No, not really. There's no date. Chan's making up shit. Right?"
Genevy glared at Chan who cast her an amused look in return.
"You really do have a bad memory, don't you?"
"Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about." Genevy admitted with a sheepish laugh.
"Genevy, it was like a week ago." Chan informed her with a chuckle. "You really don't remember?"
"Oh, I do." Jisung inputted. "It was at this time and area that time where Chan asked Genevy to hang out with him and she casually agreed."
"Oh, I know what's up." Esther realized the the situation. "On that day, Chan, you asked my sister to hang out while she was playing a game on her phone."
It finally hit Genevy on what they were talking about.
"Ah, so it was Chan who asked me if I was free that day."
"Yes, it was." Chan confirmed with a laugh. "Ready?"
"Um, no. Sorry, not sorry. I'm busy and can't hang out with you at all today."
"Bullshit." Esther exclaimed as Genevy shushed her while giving her the death glare.
"Shut up, Esther. That's not the point here."
"Then what is the point, Genevy?" Jisung asked with a smug look while Genevy also cast him a death glare.
"For you to never find out so shut the fuck up."
"Chan, you better check your girl." Esther advised with a chuckle. "She got some denial issues that's manifesting into angry moments."
"The fuck. I am not hi-"
Genevy was interrupted by Chan when she felt his hand slipped into hers.
"Alright, Genevy, let's go."
Chan grabbed her hand, pulled her out of her seat, and led her out of the cafeteria. Although she protested and slightly complained, but she really didn't do anything about it and let Chan pulled her along. As for the duo they watched the two in amusement and knew that there was definitely going on between them.
~~~~~~~
"So where are we going? What are we doing?" Genevy asked in annoyance as she reluctantly continued to follow Chan.
She could hear the male chuckle, but he gave her no response. She frowned, but a small smile gaced the corner of her lips.
"You know I could just walk away right now, right?"
"I like to see you try." He countered as he lifted up their held hands for her to see.
"If you let my hand go, then I promise I won't run away again."
"Not uh. I learned my lesson last time."
"Oh c'mon, Chan. Me running away that time wasn't such a big deal and a different story."
"You left me alone with all those people to deal with."
"I thought they were your friends."
"Just because I know a lot of people doesn't mean they're all my friends, Genevy."
"It's not my fault that you're an approachable guy."
"I didn't say it was."
Chan cast her a large grin and Genevy scowled at him, but remained silent while his attention went forward again. Genevy wasn't gonna say anything else and just stay quiet, but it wasn't until she noticed people staring at them while whispering amongst one another. She hated being looked at like that and didn't want them to jump to any ideas about her and Chan. So at first she tried to pry her hand from out of Chan's grip, but he held her hand firmly. She continued to tug her hand from out of his hold until Chan stopped walking and she ran into his back.
"Hey. Why did you stopped?" Genevy suddenly asked and looked up to see Chan with a weird expression. "Um, are you okay?"
"Can I ask you something?" He asked her.
"You already did."
He rolled his eyes with a small smile before his face became serious.
"No, really. Can you answer something for me?"
"Okay. Fine. What is it?"
"Do you hate me?"
"Totally." She answered automatically with an indifferent demeanor without thinking much of it.
Chan's face dimmed as the firm grip he had on Genevy's hand loosen.
"Oh. Really?"
"Sure."
"Was it because of what happened the other night."
"Mmhmm."
It didn't really clicked for Genevy of what Chan was trying to imply and he knew that. So Chan regarded Genevy for a moment before catching the slight movement of her leaning away from him and her eyes averting away from his as well. Genevy glanced back at Chan and noticed the corners of his mouth quirked up.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" She asked more to herself than to him as she tried to back up from the male.
"You do like me, don't you?" Chan stated in a matter-of-fact tone as his signature smile graced his face. "I'm your style, aren't I?"
"I don't have a style, Chan." Genevy countered. "You're totally not my style at all."
"What if I told you that you're my style?"
Genevy shrugged trying to play this whole thing off.
"I dunno what you expect me to do, Chan. Like the other night when you kissed me out of the blue outside my dorm building. How am I supposed to react to that?"
"Well, it would be nice if you didn't always run away and ignore me like you don't like me whenever that topic comes up. That could be a great start to begin with." He answered nonchalantly.
"Well it would be nice if you didn't just kiss me out of the blue and act all cozy and touchy-feeling with me like you like me all the time." She countered a bit fluster.
"But I do like you, Genevy." Chan confessed as he tugged Genevy closer to him with a knowing smile. "And I know that you like me too, but won't admit it."
"So what if I like you, Chan. What of it?" She admitted while gazing at him, but then realized how close they were and leaned away.
"It just means that I'm relieved that the feelings are mutual."
"Okay, cool. That's fine. Is that why you wanted to hang out so that you can find out your my style in the first place?"
"So I am your style."
"Yes. So now answer my question."
"I just really wanted to hang out just the two of us, Genevy."
"Basically you wanted a confession and then go on a date. Wow."
"Yeah, pretty much. But really I just wanted to..." He trailed off.
"Wanted to what?" She probed. "What did you want, Chan?"
"I wanted to show you off now that you're mine."
Before Genevy could questioned what he meant by that, Chan gripped her hand firmly and took off running in another direction while pulling Genevy along with him. Chan laughed loudly as Genevy tried to keep up with his pace, but used her other hand to swing at him every chance she got. She didn't make much of an impact due to the constant motion and she wasn't use to this sort of thing either. Eventually Chan somehow swooped Genevy bridal style into his arms and continued to run across the school's campus to wherever his feet was taking him while shouting out that he was her style. Genevy didn't bother saying anything as she held onto him for dear life. She was gonna get back at him later when they finally stopped moving.

It's another joyous year for AHGASEs out there! All the baby birds around the world have come together to celebrate and trend another year for GOT7 in the K-Pop industry! GOT7 and the fans alike are celebrating the group's seventh year with the hashtag #Happy7For7GOT7Day, but it is also to celebrate their departure from their former agency, JYP Entertainment. There were lots of speculations about what would happened with all of the members last year and finally it has been all settled out with good terms, especially for the seven members. All the members decided not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment and have left the company as a whole shortly afterwards. They will be resuming activities once everything is in order. Anyways, like other groups before them, GOT7 instead had established their own entertainment some time after and would be independently managing themselves under JJAI Entertainment.
The hashtag along with several others have been trending worldwide within four hours and continues to gain lots of love and attention from fans and non-fans alike. GOT7 has surely broken the seven year curse that most K-Pop groups goes through that ends their reign with one another. Still GOT7 is really showing that they can withstand it all as they wish for many more years with one another and to start a new journey as well. Despite all that has happened over the course of their years in the industry, GOT7 is seriously still going strong and AHGASE is definitely going strong alongside them. Anyways, Happy 7th anniversary GOT7! Please head on over to their newly created official twitter and instagram accounts to wish the group a happy seventh year anniversary if you haven't done it yet! Also, please me mindful of your words and only send good thoughts and vibes their way!

BREAKING NEWS!
This is just in! Everybody is totally buzzing about it! GOT7 have just recently celebrated their seventh year in the K-Pop music industry with their fan-club, AHGASEs, just yesterday. Although it's barely been a day it seems that the group have something else to celebrate as well for two of its members. In particular it's concerning the two eldest members, Jaebeom and Mark. The two GOT7's members have released official statements from their agency about their personal love life. JJAI Entertainment has revealed that both Mark and Jaebeom have been in a secret relationship since two-thousand and seventeen and decided that now was the right time to announce their relationship status to the world. Both idols have asked for the public, the fans, and everyone else to respect the privacy of their loved ones. If any malicious comments or actions occur, then the idols will not hesitate to take legal action to protect themeselves and their loved ones.
We were able to investigate further without stooping low to get our information and it seems that Mark and his now wife have officially tied the knot just a few weeks back in December on the twelfth of Saturday. The wedding's theme was a Winter Wonderland fantasy of sorts and the ceremony was a small and private one that was held in Los Angeles accompanied by their immediate family, close friends, and a very few selected celebrities who were able to attend the special event. Our reports also states that the couple also has a two-year-old son by the name of Philip. As for Jaebeom, our informant says he just recently proposed to his girlfriend a few days before his own birthday. The couple also has a one-year-old daughter by the name of Alice.
Reactions to the news have been positive, negative, and others left in-between of the two. Many fans are thrilled and wished to hopefully see who these lucky ladies are as well as how the children may look like. Many of them couldn't believe that there are little GOT7 minis running around now. Other fans have voiced out their opinions of being lied to and that the idols shouldn't have waited this long to revealed such big news. Or well more like being in a secret relationship at all as it seemed there's some misunderstanding about a betrayal of being faithful to one another. For the neutral ones some have left comments that it's their life and to leave them alone because they can live it however they like and that the fans do not own them one way or another.
Either way, the best thing about it is that the positive vibes are winning out as fans and non-fans alike are totally wishing for happiness for both couples and that their privacy would remain drama-free as much as possible. Plus, we wanna respect our idols, right? They're just as much as human as we are despite the path they have chosen for their careers. Much so, we also wish the same for the respect that they deserve as the idol life isn't all that what it's cracked up to be. Sure they may have chosen it and knew the consequences, but still there's a need of respect and a boundary, right? Anyways, on behalf of all us here at K-Wave News, we're wishing the couples good vibes along with their little ones and hope nothing but happiness their way!

MAJOR UPDATED BREAKING NEWS!
O-M-G! This is just in! I repeat. This is just in. Let the spazzing continue! All the more positive vibes going in with the new 2021 year! Yay!
Although it's only been a few hours since our last update, but we've been notified that both Jaebeom and Mark have uploaded a few things onto their Instagram accounts about their new immediate family from our lovely readers. The boys have just made their account public after having been privated since two years ago. Each upload has already received over two thousand likes, comments, reactions, and the numbers continue to soar despite some not so nice comments making in it as well. It also seems that many AHGASEs are supporting both couples and trying to encourage others to spread more love than hate and even gaining help from other fandoms as well to do so. It's a lovely gesture because these updates are seriously too cute to not love! If you're a hater, then please move on and go and focus on something else. There's no need for any hate whatsoever. Love and peace y'all!
Anyways, Jaebeom has uploaded three images to his account. The first image of the three that he'd shared shows his daughter, Alice, playing with his many adorable cats! The caption that was uploaded with the image reads something along the lines of, 'she loves them more than me TT_TT'. It's safe to say that the cats belong to her now. Ha. The second one is of the idol dad himself holding his daughter who smiles just as brightly as he does. She is honestly way too cute! Baby Alice really takes up after her father as we can spot some faint eye moles on the same side as her father. Of course we're sure the mother is just as beautiful and hope to see her in the future!
Anyhow, Jaebeom has captioned this photo with 'seeing her smile really brightens up my mood'. The last picture is a candid photo of the idol's fiancée eating a green colored macaron ice cream although her face is obscure and no clear view of how she may exactly look like. Maybe he got caught or he just wanted to tease us. Because we all know how much of a great photographer Jaebeom is, right?! So, we better get a clearer image in the future! So yeah, moving on, the caption for this image reads, 'Fate was the green tea macaron ice cream, but Destiny was all her in choosing to be a part of my life <3'. We're sure there's definitely a deeper story behind this and hope to find out in the near future if ever! Just didn't think we'll be able to witness this side of GOT7's leader in this lifetime. We hope we get more!
Now the next taken member, Mark! The oldest of the group and kind of makes sense for him to settle, right? No? Whatever. Moving on. The idol has shared a video and two pictures to his account. The one minute video clip is of the adorable baby, Philip, as he cutely speaks in several languages! He counts up to the number five in English, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and even Spanish. Wow. What a genuis child he may be because he's two and I'm totally jealous as I can barely even count in English alone and I barely passed Gerrman in high school. Enough of me, does this mean that the mother knows Spanish and Thai as we all know that Mark doesn't. Ha. Still, there's a pretty high chance the other members could be teaching little Philip too. Lucky guy. Total free language instructors right there.
Anywho, again moving along. The first photo shared seems like a candid shot of his lovely wife smiling and laughing, but Mark got caught or something in the process as she partially blocks her face with one hand while the other hand is used to try and move the device away. It's captioned with 'Always too easy to teased' and several laughing emojis. It's good to know that we're not the only one that has to put up with Mark's antics. Still, who knows how many times she has to put up with him compare to us fans, right? Haha. As for the other picture it's of baby Philip again. This time it shows the child happily smiling while holding the fluffy poodle, Milo, in his loving arms. Mark has captioned the image with, 'I feel like they don't need me anymore when they have each other TvT'. I mean, I don't disagree. I would, too if I was in the same boat.
So what do y'all think? I think it's fantastic. From these latest updates it surely appears that both couples are happy with their lives along with the happiness of their adorable children being total cuteness! Now that the male idols have revealed their actual relationship status to the world and the fans, it seems like that they aren't afraid to share some of those moments with others virtually as well. Still there's no information on the two females the two idols are with and no one else revealing anything else. Like, we don't know their names. We don't know if they were previous AHGASEs or maybe part of some other fandoms before meeting Mark and Jaebeom. Like we don't know anything about them, to be completely freaking honest. Some have gone and done some searching, but it's quite surprisingly nonexistence. Which is kind of surprising as we know a lot of netizens are good at searching up stuff and spreading it around. Right?
So far, all we know is that it's a possibility the two ladies were already friends before the duo had met the two GOT7 members and it bloomed from there on. One rumor suggests that the females were fans and they met at a fansign through connections. Another rumor claims that the females are distantly related to the other GOT7 members and were introduced at a concert. Even one rumor is going around that claims the two women were former JYP trainees and left the company because of the boys. Like who knows though. Anyways, we may never know, but please do show lots of love and support to both idols and their loves ones. Also please respect them and their privacy! If you wouldn't want to be bothered, then why bothered someone that would like the same treatment. So please behave and just act accordingly. Peace and love y'all! K-Wave News, out!

January 17, 2021. 9:37PM
"So, Mel, you and JB gonna have an engagement party?" Serena asked her sister while joining her in the kitchen after she had put the children to sleep in their nursery room which was originally the apartment of 503. The sisters had decided to combine both apartments of 501 and 503 to make it like one large unit for them to live in since having their kids. Although of course their other half have been trying to convince them otherwise to move out and to move in with them in their own apartment together for the past year. "Um, dunno yet." Melanie answered as she scrolled through her phone. "We just don't know if we should do it here or somewhere else."
"Somewhere else like where?" Serena inquired as Melanie explained further. "Hmm, back home since I have more family compare to JB." "Hmm true. Then what about the actual wedding?" Melanie shrugged with a sheepish laugh. "Um, again either here, but maybe Hawaii." She then added more as her memory recalled some of the places. "Another one is like somewhere in Europe or probaby Japan." Serena nodded before voicing out her opinion.  "If not, then y'all can just do them places for a honeymoon." "We haven't even discuss our honeymoon plans yet." "Well, y'all still got a long ways to go." "True, we do. I know I'm kinda planning, but JB's schedule is a bit busy so we just need to find time to talk and what not." "Hmm, yeah pretty much."
"Who knew, huh?" Melanie scoffed with a smile a moemnt later as Serena's eyebrows furrowed with confusion. "Knew what?" "Who knew that you and I would actually find a K-POP boyfriend, then get or become married to them, and later have an actual family. Like I mean, I know I wanted it, but I didn't think you would have it before me when you weren't even wanting it." Serena agreed with an even bigger scoff. "I know right? It's totally crazy. Like you got with JB who didn't want kids, but now the two of you have a daughter. Mark wanted kids and I didn't, but now we have a son." Serena huffed a bit before speaking again. "And like, I never wanted marriage and here I am married and now you're gonna get married like you wanted, too. It's so crazy."
"I know and it's so funny." Melanie stated with a laugh. "You've changed so much because of Mark." Serena rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything as Melanie continued talking. "Do you remember when you had your little weird moment when you ignored Mark for weeks because you were pregnant with Philip?" Melanie reminded Serena who suddenly laughed at the memory. "It was because I was having an idol's baby, Melanie. We weren't even public with our relationship or even married for that matter. Besides we were together for a year at the time and I didn't know what he would have thought or do or think or whatever at the time." She explained before flipping the situation onto her sister.
"How about you when you were pregnant with Alice?" She asked her with a pointed look. "I wasn't the only one freaking out about having a baby and whatever." Melanie rolled her eyes at her sister's words. "I was also having an idol's baby, Serena. Duh." Melanie defended herself as Serena rolled her eyes. "Of course. Your emotions were seriously all over the place." "Yours were, too. Don't deny that." "True and I'm not gonna deny it, but I wasn't as emotional as you." "Right, bullshit. Your emotions were all over the place when you were prego. Don't you remember when you got mad at everything and everybody?" "Uh, no." Serena denied as Melanie glared at her sister with a look. "Seriously?"
Serena shook her head with an aloof expression as Melanie reminded her sister what happened at that time. "Because of your moody self during it all, poor Youngjae didn't want to come over for a month because he was afraid that he'll set you off and take it out on him again." "Oh yeah he did. Shit. I totally forgot about that." Serena recalled with a slow laugh. "Poor Youngjae, but I did make it up to him with new video games." "Yeah, and then you had to do the same thing with the others." "Right. Wow. I don't want to pregnant ever again." "Hmm, you'll have to talk that over with your husband." "We're not gonna talk about shit." "Mmhmm." "Whatever, Melanie." "Anyways, Serena, when are you gonna finally move in with Mark, huh? I'm sure he would love his wife and child with him at the end of the day in their own place."
"Well, honestly," Serena drawled out with an unsure expression, "I would rather not." "Why not?" Melanie inquired before realizing something. "Ah. Is it about the whole thing with the fandom and public eye and all that, right?" Serena nodded with confirmation before speaking with another reason. "Also, Mark lives with that one friend of his and so it's not like he can break his lease so soon since it's too early." Melanie scoffed with a laugh. "It's not like he doesn't have the money, Serena." "Oh, true, Melanie, true, but still he has to pay if he does leave earlier than expected. Besides, I really like this place and don't wanna part with it." "Yeah, I feel you on that. Aunt Julisa did major work to this place and did gift it to you and me after she left." "Mmhmm."
Serena switched the attention onto her sister. "Anyways, what about you, huh? What are you gonna do?" Melanie shrugged with a chuckle. "Seriously, I have no clue, to be honest with you. Like he wants us to live near his parents, which isn't a bad thing, but I guess just like you I don't want to part with this apartment either." Melanie glanced around the place with a tender look and smile. "There's a lot of memories here and I really know this area more than I do anywhere else if I have to move." Serena chuckled at her sister's words. "I do have to agree with you on that, too. I actually like this location more because I know it well enough."
"So, basically, what you're saying is that we're not gonna move out any time soon, right" Melanie stated with a knowing smile. "Yeah, basically." Serena agreed with a chuckle with Melanie joining in the laughter a second later. "The boys will be so sad." "They'll live." "What about Alice and Philip? The kids will be so sad since they've wanted to live with the pets, too." Serena rolled her eyes in good-nature. "Again they'll live, too, and get over it faster than their fathers. It's not like they don't see one another a lot and besides, the kids are still too young to be playing with the animals as they get grabby and the poor critters have to deal with that. Also, I don't want to deal with that on a daily." "Yeah, that's true, but hey, kids are kids."
The sisters looked at the time before looking over at one another with Melanie speaking up first. "I'm surprised no one has called or messaged us about the news being released." She paused to think for a bit before resuming again. "Well except for the ones that lived here as I meant the ones that don't live here." "I'm pretty sure it's because it's too early for them over there and they're still asleep." Serena answered before adding the last part. "And they don't follow K-Pop stuff so they won't see it right away." "Hmm, true, but I'm sure the twins will mention something later since y'know that those two are dating the other two older members, too." Serena laughed upon hearing that. "Oh, yeah, true. Shit, I can't  believe I forgot about that." "How can you forget about Jinyoung and Jasmine while Jeannie's with Jackson?" Melanie mused as Serena rolled her eyes before responding.
"Because I don't care about other people's relationship unless they want me to know about it. Plus, I'm still surprised that Jasmine gave up on Johnny and accepted Jinyoung, which isn't a bad thing, but I really thought Jasmine was gonna stick with Johnny as she had no interest in any other idol, but him." "Oh, my bro, I know, I know. I was hella shocked that Jasmine and Jinyoung liked each other, too. I mean Jeannie always liked Jackson, but I didn't think Jackson was interested in her like that as he wanted to focus more on his life and career, y'know." "Yeah, true, but the boys will be happy when they find out that the twins will be moving back to Seoul in a few weeks."
Melanie nodded happily. "Yeah, I know. Which reminds me, we need to clean out their rooms and make them livable again." "Oh, right. Also need to tell the boys to stay at their own places, too." "Psh, yeah right. It'll be a reunion and a big ass slumber party all over again." "Oh, please, I hope not. We're all too grown for that." "Says, you." "Yeah, I guess, but it's not like I can't deny it." "That's right. We're all family here and have changed for the better." "Yeah, that's true. I mean, honestly, look at how you and I turned out. So I guess things really do change over time for sure when you meet that person that's meant for you." "This girl." Melanie cooed in a teasing manner. "Mark really brought out your inner softie, bro." "I've always been like this."
"Mmhmm." Melanie hummed mischievously as Serena brushed her off. "Whatever, enough about me. Just go plan yours and JB's engagement party so that neither parents have to nag at y'all about the details." Melanie scoffed with a roll of her eyes. "I'm pretty sure I'll have to nag him about all of this. He always just agrees with what I want, but I get he wants to make me happy, but he has to be happy about all of this, too. It's not just about me, but it's about him, too." "Hey, Happy Wife, Happy Life, right?" "That phrase is so overused, but it's kinda true." "For you." "Yeah, basically." The sisters laughed before Serena brought up a serious topic. "I'm just worried about what the fans will do now. I mean, I don't care since they don't know how we look like, but I do care about the boys' health and their careers though."
"I'm pretty sure it's just that the fans have matured over time and become calmer like back in twenty-nineteen. Some of them aren't teenagers anymore." Melanie reasoned and assured her sister. "I mean, the fandom's have been very supportive lately, but then again there are those sasaeng ones that get it over in their heads about things. Still, it isn't as bad as it was before, Rina." "True, Mel, but some are still young minded and closed minded, too. Also the reality for them is the fact that both of them are off the market while two more will be later in the future." "Bro, calm down. Just don't worry about it so much." "I know, Mel, but still, I just do. I can't help it."
Melanie started laughing as Serena frowned at her sister's behavior. "What's so funny?" "I'ma tell Mark that you're worried for him, but won't show it and let him know about it." Serena groaned with her face in her hands. "Ugh, please, don't tell him that. He's gonna tease me so much about it." "Why not? I find it funny." Serena groaned again while looking up at Melanie with judging eyes. "Ugh. To this day my misery is still your pleasure, isn't it?" "Yes, ma'am. It is." Melanie replied with a cheeky smile before speaking again. "But luckily the more positive ones have won out and aren't stressing the boys as much from what I know so far. Fortunately they are doing well and not suffering." "Unless they're not saying anything." "True, but they usually let us know about it though." "Yeah, that's true."
"Anyways," Melanie changed the topic. "I wanna do my hair like this." She showed her phone to her sister. "You think Chloe can do something like that?" Serena gazed at the image before nodding. "Yeah, but she's been busy since she opened her own shop several months ago." Serena went through her phone while speaking at the same time. "Um, just call her tomorrow and I'm sure she'll squeeze you in without any trouble as she works fast and has some skilled workers, too. Try for the early morning or just before she closes." "Alright, cool. I would rather trust her than anyone else." "I know." Serena let out a yawn while standing up. "Well, I'm off to bed. Night." "Night and dream of your precious hubby." Melanie teased as Serena rolled her eyes, but bid her the same thing with a laugh. "No, you dream of your precious hubby." "I always do unlike you." "Mmhmm."

January 18, 2021. 2:23AM. Mark~
Serena stirred awake when she felt arms comfortably wrapped them around her waist and pulled her against another warm and familiar body a second later. She slowly shifted her position to face her husband while placing an arm over Mark to rub his back a bit as he cast his wife a tired smile. "Hey." "Hey." Serena returned the same tired smile to him. "What time is it?" "It's almost two-thirty." "Did you eat already?" "Yeah, but I'll eat something proper later today though." "You better or I'll have to come by with packed lunches to make sure you eat properly." "Hmm, now that you mention it that actually sounds like a good plan, Serena." Mark said with a laugh as he hugs Serena closer. "The boys wanted to see Philip, anyways."
"Don't tempt me, Mark. I may leave Philip in your care then." Serena countered nonchalantly as Mark chuckled while entangling their legs together. "I'm pretty sure I've already done a good job with that, Mrs. Tuan. That's why we're married now." "Mrs. Tuan is your mom, Mark. Not me. Technically, I'm still Serena Vorasavane by paper and other legal stuff." She muttered against his chest as she was becoming sleepy again. "True, but you're still known as Mrs. Mark Tuan openly." "Yes, I know and everyone that knows about us, but not to your lovely fans I'm not." Serena replied with a yawn. "Now go to sleep before Philip wakes up in several hours." "Can't you just spend those hours with me before then?" Mark whined affectionately. "I heard that you were worried about my well-being."
Serena inwardly groaned knowing exactly that Melanie had told him of her thoughts, but didn't want to give in to her husband just yet. "You heard wrong and no. Go to sleep. We're already spending our life together forever, Mark. So for a couple of hours without interacting with one another you can deal with it until then." "Still my same tsundere baby girl." Mark cooed although Serena could tell he was still pouting as she chuckled sleepily. "Yes, I am, but please go to sleep, Mark. I'll make it up to you later with those packed lunches." She finally gave in as Mark grinned while placing a kiss on top of her head. "You're the best." "I know. Now sleep." She snuggled up against him as Mark softly squeezed her gratefully. "Make sure to give me triple extra." "Sleep and I will." "Alright." "Night, Mark." "Night, Serena."

January 18, 2021. 2:23AM. Jaebeom~
Jaebeom slowly eased himself onto the bed where Melanie was sleeping undisturbed, but she stirred when she felt the bed dipped too low for her liking. She turned to face her fiancé with a tired smile while sitting up. "Hey." "Hey to you, too. Sorry for waking you." He apologized as he leaned over to place a soft kiss onto her lips before making the both of them comfortable while cuddling against each other ready to fall asleep soon. "It's all good, Jaebeom." Melanie assured him before asking him about his day. "How was your day?" "Same as every day, but better now that you're in my arms." "Stop." Melanie chuckled as Jaebeom smiled before placing a kiss on top of her head. "You know you like it, Chaewon."
"Right, like as much as your cats do. Huh?" Jaebeom chuckled as he squeezed Melanie affectionately. "They were a part of my life before you entered." "Yeah, sure. Soon enough it'll all be about Alice and I'll just be an afterthought." "Quite true, but you'll always be my one and only favorite one." "Stop." Melanie said as she playfully smacked Jaebeom with his response just pulling her closer and tangling their legs together. "Don't want to and so you're stuck with me forever and ever." "I know." The female sighed as Jaebeom frowned. "Why does that sound like you're regretting it?" "Because I accepted the fact that I'll have to deal with you for the rest of my life and your cheesy softness. Plus, we have Alice so I can't let her not hang out with her father."
Melanie leaned up to check the time before making herself comfortable against Jaebeom again. "Now go to sleep, please. The baby wakes up in maybe five or six hours, I need enough sleep to deal with her until our nap time." "I'm sorry that I'm not around much to help you in raising our daughter." "It's okay. You're still in her life and she knows who you are, is what matters the most." "I know, I know, but we should have a free day soon and we can go do something as a family." "Sounds wonderful, but we'll talk later as it's too much to deal with right now when I'm sleepy." She told him with a yawn. "Good night, Jeffrey." "Good night, Melanie." Jaebeom smiled as he placed one more kiss on the top of Melanie's head before falling asleep soon after.
