Look, I know people (cult) are talking about this ring being the Chanel Wooga squad ring. They want it to be that ring so so bad they literally edited it onto JK's finger.

I personally do not think it's that ring.

Let's start with:

If you have to edit the ring onto JK's finger then it probably ain't the ring you want it to be.

The grooving on the ring just doesn't look the same to me.

Also, Wooga, they wear the ring on their index finger, friendship and stuff.

JK has the ring on his pinky. And it's not like this is an index ring, it's smaller. You know, like the kind that would fit a certain someone that has cute smol (yes I know that's not how you write small, it's just cute) handsies.

I want to talk about BoyNextDoor

This group debuted under KOZ Entertainment, Zico's label in HYBE, on May 30, 2023 and all six boys were already beasts.

Every song they've released has been S-class tier, in my opinion. Finger-licking good pop rock music with an oldies bend to it, god-tier choreography with that emphasis in performance quality that HYBE groups are known for, and frankly adorable, sweet personalities to boot. The boys have real chemistry and are legitimately talented. I'd say almost at the stage BTS were at debut. Though I could be biased.

Anyway, I think to understand what BND is, you first need to understand who Zico is.

There's no other rapper that best exemplifies the funky gutter musicality of khh than Zico. It's groove with an edge to it. Easy swag paired with barely contained energy. That's what drives Zico's flow and rhythm in his songs and dancing style. Zico is the artist all the male idols you know are bumping to in their dorms. He's not a saint, he's simply the best at what he does IMO. And it's clear all six members of BND adore him, look up to him, and are aiming to do their best to not let him down. And I find that sweet as hell.

BoyNextDoor is what happens when Zico does 'cute'. It's bright, gritty, fun, and funky at the same time.

Plus, their music and choreography is straight flames. I won't bore you with text. Listen and watch it for yourself. Find somewhere comfortable to sit and pay attention please.

That was all from their debut single album and all three songs are outstanding releases. BND is easily the best debut group or rookie in 2023 though Kiss of Life is a very close second. Their 1st comeback was on September 4, 2023 and again there isn't a single skip (although Crying comes close to being one lol).

I love the video and directing style in their MVs. The way they incorporate an actual physical door into their choreographies and MVs, is unique and interesting - BND is one reason I've been able to say that about a k-pop song this year. The boys' vocals are exceptional and perfect for the style of music they're pursuing too. And again, they can actually dance and perform.

The music is untouchable by the way.

I think BoyNextDoor is the best rookie group this year, their music is amazing, and that you should give them a good listen. Their performances are also fun to watch and you might find yourself impressed at their choreographies.

happy new year's eve!

just a quick lil post bc i’d just like to talk a bit about my 2023 on tumblr and what’s to come in 2024 and this isn't exactly a sunshine-and-rainbows post so i figured i'd say it while we're still in 2023. idk if anyone’s even bothering to read under the cut but if not then this is just for me lol

but yeahhh 2023 wasn’t exactly great in terms of the tumblr experience for me. i was in a creative slump for a while there and thought writing had completely slipped from me. got wack anons for the first time! people whom i thought were relatively cool turned out to be weirdos which was hella disappointing lol smh. the fandom experience took a turn for the worse - though i am still grateful that i had a solid year and a half that was really fun being a part of the fandom before things took a nosedive (🙄). overall, it was the accumulation of all these things and more that made being on jeonqkooks not as fun and comforting anymore, which has been quite sad bc you know how much i loved being here with you guys - you’re all my bubs 💞

don’t worry i’m not leaving lol. i’m not abandoning any wip. i’m still gonna be here; i’m just taking my time to find my groove with the blog and our lil community here again <3 when it comes to writing, i’ll probably be a bit more active elsewhere (cough @withleeknow cough) for the time being bc that’s where the inspo is coming from right now lol

also, i’m kinda hoping for bigger changes in 2024 in my personal life sooo there’s that !

anyways, this is my formal exit from tumblr. i was finding it kinda funny cause my pinned post was still "psa im going on a break" but had no intentions on returning LMAO

to the writers still tryna get their groove or make their mark, keep at it. i was shocked when i received fifty notes, and for my favorite work to be at 900+ is surreal. find your style and stick to it. but also, who am i to say anything im just some guy ASLUIDVAIWUE

i'm sorry for the unfulfilled requests or promises made, recommendations not given. but the people still on this platform are so incredibly passionate about their writing, and i've got to give that to them. so to my fav writers, idk if you'll ever read this, but TAKE YOUR SPACE. i love u you got me thru sum shit.

Dear Future Me, Day 1- Romancing the Process

Dev Day-Day 8

June 5, 2023

Yay!!!

This one is gonna be a bit different from the Dev and Doodle Diaries. This is just general thoughts and feelings. I am restructuring things so not every day is gonna be a Dev, Doodle, or Design Day.

I want to improve my trust in myself to do things that I feel are correct in the moment for myself. I like a lot of things and tend to learn slowly because I'm absorbing everything. So, it's nice to learn several things at the same time (which if you have read any of the Dev Diaries...you know lol)

I'm currently in the middle of huge life changes and in a weird spot so there are lots of things that I'm trying to figure out.

One, and only one, of which is finding a job. I'm currently on trend to go into UX design or game design. I really like both and would simply do the other on the side, for myself or as a side hustle 😁😂

Another task to figure out is the road to independence. I'm currently looking to get out on my own. It's a bit of a weird stage because I'm not a the "normal" age for this... I'm nearly 29. I was nearly there when 2020 hit (a weird thing to say about a year lol). All the work I had put in for years vanished.

I'm finally starting to get back into the swing of things. I'm determined to not let anything stop me this time! Not health, finances, people, or myself!

This journal is about the journey as a whole. Romancing the Process of doing things for the first time years after most others have. Seeing the world in new ways. Learning and teaching myself to grow. I plan to have fun with it!

Not knowing what the future holds can be fun, and romantic...

I have tried to do something similar on TikTok, but at some point videos became to scary. I want to get back to that soon, but for now I'll use the safety of writing.

Since these may be longer (I like to talk, it's how I process) I'm going to try and have pictures when I can 😊

Today I started learning Korean through Talk to Me in Korean (not sponsored, obv). In just one lesson they have already answered a question I had from before.

It was a short lesson but with all the other stuff I'm doing, I wanted to give myself some wiggle room. I've been using Duolingo to keep myself in the groove of it.

When JK went live yesterday, I was actually able to understand a couple words. I was ecstatic 🥰 They meant nothing on their own, but they point towards progress. That's all I'm really after right now. It for sure motivated me to go further with lessons.

The handwriting needs work 😅😂 but I'm hoping that when I start writing more it'll get better. This is a bad day for my handwriting in general. The spacing on the page is gonna take some getting used to. I feel like a small child trying to write again for the first time hehe

(it bugs me that you can see through the page 😥)

This will be fun to read in a couple years 😅🥰 I can't wait to reblog and giggle about things that I thought or tried to do hehehe

P.S. Things might adjust formatting wise for a bit. I'm trying to get what works the best.🥰
