I have ein question for any Simblr that uses banners for their story updates. Ok actually more than ein question, but "ein" is fun to say. Anyway.

1. When I use a banner at the top of my post, the post no longer shows up on my own dash and Tumblr acts like it doesn't exist but other people can see it.

2. When I use a banner at the bottom of my post, there is a 50/50 chance it'll disappear from my dash but sometimes it doesn't. What is up with that? Does Tumblr see me using the same image over and over as spam? How come it doesn't do that for anyone else?

3. What dimensions do you make your banners? Maybe the size I chose is wrecking Tumblr's smooth lil brain?

4. I don't have a fourth question, I just wanted to say hi. 😊

I need q!phil to absolutely lose it. He can do this by being silly, he could be an actual threat, i don’t care. With the bird house, the dream and reality confusion he’s been a victim of and just every other trauma he’s watched others go through as well as himself, he feels a bit too kept together so far in my opinion, even if he is still going through it

but i will say, this valentines stream, he’s definitely been a lot more on the ‘silly losing it side’ (cc!phil was in a goofy mode not lore mode for a good part while lore/semi lore i guess was going on, so this could be very excusable) and i hope this is a sign of my awaited (more) batshit crazy bird boy

The way Pete stops Vegas from hitting himself, catches his hands and pushes them away from the pain he wants to feel. And then Vegas seeking Pete's permission, seeking for anything from Pete to tell him what to do, to tell him the he wants the same thing, that he wants the same pain and then Pete responds with enthusiasm, with need, with joy. He pulls Vegas into the kiss and he holds out the rope, holds out the binding to bring them together and to show that his part is equal, that he wants to be there in the same capacity as Vegas, that his part and his trauma is now their relationship and that they are both broken but they are broken together and that's how you fix something that's too broken to be repaired on it's own, by finding the parts from other places, from fixing two cups into one, by creating something stronger out of disparate things.

Vegas and Pete shore up each other's cracks even as they find the deepest places inside themselves where all the damage is.

#with video and with writing i have a very good idea of what i like #in my own stuff you know #i know that it may not be for everyone but i have a good grasp on what /i/ like. when /i/ like the choices im making #with visual stuff i have None of that #i have No idea what im doing #im just endlessly like adjusting colours like 'is this better than this? do i like this more than this?' #and doing that with colours textures lightness effects #just endlessly #and i never know! #im never sure! #im like 'okay i guess this looks good to me?' and then i look away for a minute or i change like One thing and im like #'oh wait this is way better the previous thing was ugly' #just nooo idea what im doing #no idea if theres any cohesion in these pictures or if theyre just visual noise #with writing i have a very good idea of approximately how vague im being in communicating a certain idea #how different vagueness levels of ideas intersect to create new ideas wtih more or less clarity #with video same thing. i have usually a pretty good sense of what is pulling most attention at any given moment video or audio #which is playing support and which leads so to speak. i have a good sense of the red thread #and maybe all that cohesion only works for ME #and no one else #but still then i KNOW when it works for me #i have NONE of that with just visual stuff #i dont know why #it's kinda fun kinda frusrtating #at least im learning more things i can do with my program so thats something #if im not training my eye at least im training my knowledge of buttons a little bit #for slightly more purposeful clicking
