1. Are you named after anyone?

No. My middle name is the same as my mom's but I think that's more because it's very common.

2. When was the last time you cried?

When I was writing the snippet in this post. It was a full out I can't even see anymore type of ugly cry.

3. Do you have kids?

One! Well, 3 if you count the cats (and I totally do)

4. What sports do you play/have played?

Not really much of a sports person (I'm sure that's shocking information) but I did at one point do track, cross country and marching band.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Moi? Never!

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

For IRL people probably their energy. And I guess something similar for Pocket Friends just in a different way.

7. What’s your eye color?

a nice medium brown

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

happy endings. y'all can have the scary movies (I'm such a scaredy cat)

9. Any talents?

Dude (gn) I hate this question so much. I'm sure there's something, I just can't think of what it is. I guess I like to think I'm good with puns and word play. Oh! And I have this knack for getting upgraded seats at concerts and sporting events.

1. Are you named after anyone?

My first name is a feminine version of my dad's name (and one my paternal grandmother wanted to use for a girl), and my middle name Susanne is a derivative of my maternal grandmother's name (I misspelt it as Suzanne for a year? in middle school because... I forgot how it was spelt, I suppose.)

2. When was the last time you cried?

Almost teared up at Craig Ferguson's eulogy for his dad tonight (catching up on his content on YouTube.) But I did tear up at his eulogy for his mom this morning (also on Youtube.)

3. Do you have kids?

No... but one day I will.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

No, surprisingly-- mine is more bemused mockery (very like Mr. Bennett in Pride and Prejudice... but not the 2005 one. Not that Mr. Bennett. Never that Mr. Bennett.)

5. What sports do you play/have played?

...None. I felt that Olympic champion part of my soul wither and die away; so thanks for providing me that experience. (That was mild and playful sarcasm-- guess I do use it sometimes~.)

6. What's the first thing you notice about other people?

Probably how much space they take up-- not in a bad way, just in a way to gauge them as a possible threat? (I dunno-- don't think that 5 foot nothing woman who could have been blown away with an east wind was much of a threat; but maybe my brain thinks so.)

7. What's your eye color?

Brown. Reddish brown. (Bond accent included.)

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

..................HAPPY ENDINGS. But not cheesy ones-- give me Pride and Prejudice over Hallmark any day.

9. Any special talents?

I have an awe-inspiring ability to effortlessly make delicious food; BUT the magic happens when I make desserts that taste pretty good without wheat (even without flour in a pinch), without any granulated sugar (even without ANY sugar but fruit), AND without eggs (use 2-4 Tbsp seltzer water.) ...It was a dark, but necessary time in my life (someone else's health was affected, etc.) Can't make soup, though.

10. Where were you born?

California, US. I was there for... two months? before my fam hit the road. Two years later we left the mainland.

11. What are your hobbies?

Making amazing X-Files fic compilations, meta analyses, and my newest passion: absolutely spectacular AMVs (that I call Musicals.)

12. Do you have any pets?

Not currently-- I had a fish in second grade; then two outdoor rabbits through late elementary to early high school.

13. How tall are you?

5'5" (I'm your height, @frogsmulder! ;)))))

14. Favorite subject in school?

Literature-- loved learning about the technicalities behind writing and composing poetry; and I loved reading most of the required material. Math was great, but I missed a lot of errors. My interests failed once we left algebra and approached geometry/calculus.

15. Dream job?

Writer. I know deep down that I don't have that ...artistry? to create fiction-- which is fine (I do better with poetry-- though it's very untrained and pretty rough around the edges-- and, I think, critical writing.) I did write a "legal" document to my landlord when I was in middle school asking him to buy me a shih tzu puppy and he was impressed that I, a small child, wrote it as professionally as I did (I can't remember a word it said. XDDDD)

1. Are you named after anyone?

Kinda, my middle name is a nickname of my dad’s name but that was unintentional. 

2. When was the last time you cried?

I cry a lot so I don’t think I can really pinpoint that last time, the last memorable time was when I had a nightmare about having a child and watching them die from cancer, I woke up crying. 

3. Do you have kids?

Nope, maybe one day. 

4. What sports do you play/have you played?

Netball when I was a kid and I have done martial arts and boxing throughout my life but never competitively. 

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Yeah, but I don’t think it’s always picked up by others. 

6. What's the first thing you notice about people?

This is so hard because it really depends on the situation, with new people and uncertain social situations it’s survival tactics like body language, facial expressions, I notice how they’re reacting to me so then I can adapt ‘me’ to fit the situation. 

7. What's your eye color?

Blue/Grey.

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

Happy ending all the way, I don’t do horror. 

9. Any talents?

Double jointed so I can twist my thumb around so it’s backwards.

Writing, reading, art, watching TV/movies, art, cooking, collecting things from my special interests, hanging with my dogs, playing music, my plants, there’s probably more- its the adhd.

Physically? It depends, usually it's something that strikes me visually about a person. It could be hair, eyes, nose, height, body frame, literally anything that makes me go "I wanna draw this person"

Are you named after someone?

I actually am, my first name (I go by my middle name more lol) is from my paternal grandmother.

When was the last time you cried?

Umm...last week? Like...last Friday? Just had a really low moment and needed to cry it out to get over it rip

Do you have kids?

Nope, and don't plan on having any either.

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

I think I do, I just don't think it executes well, or my family just severely struggles with tone and sarcasm as a whole cause it works when I'm at work or with friends rip

What's the first thing you notice about people?

Maybe a typical answer but like their facial expressions and especially their eyes and then body language. Just something I've done from observing people.

What's your eye color?

For the longest time, it's been kinda hard to describe cause it does change color a wee bit in the light. But it's mostly gray-ish dark blue, but sometimes can look like a dark green, especially if I wear green.

Scary movie or a happy ending?

Scary movie, but with at least a decent ending.

Any special talents?

Umm...I can talk/sing really fast? Uhh i can make my fingers look wiggly/double-jointed? Uhh...it's all I got.

I think monday morning, I was feeling terrible because of some dizziness symptons I've been having for a time, and couldn't see them stoping right away.

not as much as I used to, it tends to make people around upset :/

I tried playing football ⚽ multiple time but I'm terrible at it, I'm somewhat good at basketball but don't really have the physical condition for it.

Are you named after anyone? No, but fun fact my sister named me when she was 9 and to this day she doesn't know why she picked my names... and it's a pretty bomb set of names if I do say so myself.

When was the last time you cried? 2 days ago, it was Pride in my city and one of my closest male friends gave me a gift out of nowhere that it was really considerate and sweet

Do you have kids? No... I do like them a lot and I enjoy spending time with them but I don't want to have any kids of my own.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Yeah

What sports do you play/have played? I'm a very active person and I've done A LOT of sports: swimming, basketball, football softball, volleyball, tennis, extreme sports, cheerleading but my absolute favorite that I try to do to this day is dancing, weightlifting, ninjutsu (not a sport though... a martial art) and yoga (every day). The funny thing is that I fucking HATE cardio... like the regular, running, or biking type of cardio? god I rather die. The sad thing is that sports are sports and they're not necessarily good for your body so now I have a shit ton of damage in my body and I know as a fact that down the road I'll need multiple surgeries. THE REAL QUESTION THOUGH... am I good at any of it? 🤷🏻‍♀️who's to say?

Scary movies or happy endings? I have to second @amc-iwtv happy endings is not a genre... I do love scary movies though... but like.... I love every type of movie.

Any special talents? I don't know... people say I'm an amazing cook but I'm trained so I don't think that counts. They also say that I'm extremely good at analyzing media... what they fail to realize is that I was raised by fandom tumblr so all of us are like this.

This one'll be from Lug's POV :) And it's another reader!Interviewer insert one since I just think it's fun. It'll also take place before the War Machines met Briar.

The other War Machines were intimidating enough, but this one practically looms.

He can't seem to help it. He's taller than any human you've ever seen. His skin is the color of blood, and his eyes are as black as the armor jutting roughly from his massive frame. When he walks into the lab, his steps have enough force to resonate in the glass beakers lining the tables. You have no doubt one flick of his wrist could tear your head from your shoulders.

No wonder he's called the Tank Unit.

Your silence is only broken when he rumbles a giggle.

"I'm Lug!" he says in a voice as sonorous as you'd expected from such a barrel-like chest. "Nice to meetcha."

He thrusts a huge red hand toward you, clearly wanting you to shake it. You eye his fingers, knowing he could easily crush yours if you return it—but you don't want to upset him. You take a breath and slip your palm in his.

His handshake is shockingly gentle.

"You got questions?" he asks after he lets go. "Awesome! Nobody ever asks me questions!"

The glint in his eyes calms you, and you suddenly realize you're safe here with him. You begin.

"I don't think so," he says with a ponderous squint. "People called me 'big lug' a lot when I was first built. I like it. I think it's funny!"

When was the last time you cried? 

You can't imagine someone like him ever shedding a tear. Still, his jolly demeanor flickers a bit before returning in full force.

"Oh, uh... let's not talk about that. Laughing's more fun than crying! Any other questions?"

Do you have kids? 

"Naw, I don't think War Machines can have kids. And I don't wanna ask the Engineer." He shudders, then looks wistful. "I think having another little brother would be nice."

He gives a loud belly-roar of a laugh that shakes the beakers around him. Then he looks down at his hands, his voice softening slightly. "Like Sharpe and Circuit? Nah, I don't like being mean. It'd probably scare people, right?"

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

"I see if they're scared of me, like your last question. Sometimes I don't want 'em to be." Your prior awe stirs in your belly at his wicked grin. "On the battlefield I do, though."

What’s your eye color?

"Black! The Repair Units get the cool glowy white eyes. I'm stuck with boring black."

Scary movies or happy endings?

After you explain to him what movies are, he giggles and asks, "People just sit and watch those? Can a scary movie have a happy ending?"

Any special talents?

"Oh! Yeah, I've got one!" He leans conspiratorially toward you and whispers, "I can wiggle my ears. Don't tell the Engineer. I don't think I'm supposed to be able to do that."

Where were you born?

"You mean built? Right here, I guess!" He sweeps his arm around the lab, then points to the compartments standing lined up against the wall. "In one of those."

What are your hobbies?

"When I'm not tearing stuff up, I like singin'. I memorize words pretty good. I can hit low notes too, and sing really loud. Maybe I can teach you a song if you want—the Repair Units aren't here to keep me from teachin' you the really fun songs."

"I don't think War Machines do that. But I do wrestle! I'm pretty good at that." He smiles wider when your eyes flick to the artificial musculature of his arms. "Sometimes the Engineer makes me toss stuff up and catch it again. Those are my favorite calibration tests."

How tall are you?

"I dunno. I'm sorry. I'm just... big."

He certainly is. You size him up and realize he's taller than Sharpe and Claw were in your last interview. You'd put him at around seven feet tall, over two meters.

Favorite subject in school?

He isn't sure what you mean. You list a few school subjects, and his eyes light up predictably when you mention "gym." Oddly enough, they also look interested in music and art classes.

"You mean... you get taught how to make songs?" he breathes. "And how to make things pretty? Wow. I wanna go to school!"

Dream job?

"If I could do anything? Do people sing for money? I wanna do that."

1. Are you named after anyone? Nope!

2. When was the last time you cried? umm... probably the last time I watched a movie where a person got to see a loved one who died, just one last time. It always gets me.

3. Do you have kids? No, thank god.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Why yes! does it show?

5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? I have no idea. I just... get to the point? But the thing that usually sparks me as "oh, this is a cool person!" is either their sense of humor, or what entertainment they enjoy.

6. What color are your eyes? Blue/green/brown. All the kids in my immediate family have mostly blue eyes, with a smaller ring of green, and a smaller ring of brown around the iris. My brother's colors are way more defined than mine... I mostly just say blue for brevity's sake.

7. Scary movies or happy endings? Depends on the mood! A lot of times I'm happy with something happy, but there are times I just want to be scared witless!

8. Any special talents? I dunno-- what counts as special? I'm kind of the tech guru in my office, despite no formal training. The pre-IT call, if you will, because IT at our company is a pain. I'm pretty good at writing, especially emulating the characters I really like.

9. Where were you born? USA. Oh, how I wish I was Canadian... Or Irish.

10. What are your hobbies? Writing, video games, watching online content. I used to be a big reader, but that's fallen off on the wayside in recent years. Nowadays if I read it's usually AO3.

11. Do you have any pets?  CLOVE!! My love, my joy. She's a shorthair calico with a special sort of personality. She seems like a middle aged mom most of the time. But the kind of mom whose kids you've never seen, just the woman at work who acts like she's been through it and has zero fucks left to give.

12. What sports do you play/have you played?  I was basketball kid growing up-- through the end of 6th grade, I think. Maybe some middle school? My first season was an outdoor summer league, which is how we found out I'm sensitive to the heat. Apparently my face turned green. After that it was indoor basketball only.

13. How tall are you? Approx. 5'7". Always wanted to be 5'9", but my genetics failed me.

14. Favorite subject in school? English. Didn't try to major in it though. Was afraid if I studied it and had to do nothing but write papers for school, I'd come to hate it, and I wanted to preserve my enjoyment of it.

15. Dream job? I would love to be a full time novelist. I don't think it'll ever happen at this point-- might catch on when I'm retired. But work and life means I don't have a lot bandwidth left over for big projects.

are you named after anyone? I am named for a little girl my mom had in one of her classes when she was a newly minted teacher back in the 60s.

when was the last time you cried? A few months ago when my doctor prescribed me something to help my anxiety and depression...and it worked.

do you have kids? I have two grown kids, who are probably closer in age to the average Simblr than I am.

do you use sarcasm a lot? Yes.

what sports do you play/have you played? I played a little bit of softball and soccer at various stages in my life, but mostly I sail with my husband and go walking in the woods with my dog.

what’s the first thing you notice about other people? In general, hair, but everything else is situational.

eye colour? Blue

scary movies or happy endings? I am irrationally afraid of scary movies, so happy endings are definitely preferred.

any special talents? I'm pretty okay at writing. (At least my publisher thinks so.)

what are your hobbies? Sailing, camping, The Sims, and trying to keep houseplants alive.

do you have any pets? I have a five-year-old Border Collie mix named Talaria. She's a stompy, prickly murder baby but I love her completely.

Are you named after anyone? No. When choosing my name my mother opted for a classic, traditional name which meaning she liked.

When was the last time you cried? Last evening when I watched the Anime Kemono no Soja Erin (獣の奏者エリン). Minor spoiler: I bawled in the scene where she recalled all the memories with her foster father and called him 'father'.

Do you have kids? No. For the time being, I don't plan to have children - maybe later, but at the moment I want to focus on my studies and personal development.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? In daily life yes, on my blog I don't think I use it often.

What sports do you play/have played? I've never liked sports, and I'm unathletic, so I don't and didn't do any sports. (I do work out for my health) When I was in elementary school I was in the dance club but that's it.

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? Height, Nose, Eyes, Waist

What’s your eye colour? Hazel but with more brown than green.

Scary movies or happy endings? Definitely happy endings. I don't like scary movies, even though I like to read Thrillers.

Dream job? Where I have little to no interaction with anyone, and can just research things. Working in my own lab or something like that.

Are you named after anyone? - Nope, I was actually named something else until I was born when I came out the wrong gender (they thought I was boy, scans weren’t great in the 80’s lol) So I was nameless for the first couple weeks of my life until my aunt named me, she thought the name she chose matched my sister’s name well, said we sounded like sisters.

When was the last time you cried? - Like six hours ago lol, I had an anxiety attack which usually involves some tears.

Do you have kids? - Nope, I cannot medically have children. If I did manage to get pregnant by some miracle, there’s a good chance I could die ☠️

Do you use sarcasm a lot? - According to medical professionals, I apparently use it as a coping mechanism lol!

What spots do you play/have played? - I haven’t played a sport since I was in school, ngl. I was on the girl’s travel soccer team and the shot put team. I also did gymnastics, swam and ice skated. I was big into BMX biking when I was a pre-teen too, it was a 90’s, that was super cool at the time.

What’s the first thing you notice about other people? - Height, eyes, lips, hands.

What’s your eye colour? - Dark dark brown, my eyes look black indoors and nearly gold in direct sunlight.

Scary movies or happy endings? - I enjoy scary movies more than anything, but I do tend to write happy endings. So… both 🤷‍♀️

Any special talents - I mean, I have one that tends to be a party trick that people want to see when they find out about it. I have zero gag reflex, no it’s not suppressed, no I don’t have to work past it, it’s just legit not there. I’ve had doctors look at me in shock when they basically stick their hand down my throat and I don’t blink an eye lol. @kellanwrites once watched me put an entire banana down my throat without even breaking eye contact 😉

Where were you born? - Ontario, Canada.

What are your hobbies? - Reading, crocheting, writing, baking, nail art, colouring, video games, sitting around and doing nothing while waiting for the cold hand of death to grip me and drag me away… too dark? That might have gotten too dark, sorry about that.

Do you have any pets? - A dog, a rabbit, and guinea pig and four cats.

How tall are you? - I’m 5’8, which is very tall for someone who’s AFAB, although I am one of the shorter females in my family, shockingly lol. My older sister is 5’11 and my mother is 6’ tall.

Favourite subject at school - English, science, art, music and history.

Dream job - Something where I wouldn’t have to interact with anyone, like stacking books or shelves in the back of a store. Counting out pills in a pharmacy, just a job where I could count/stack/arrange things quietly away from people. Maybe working in an archive of some sort 🤔
