WIP Wednesday (7/12/23) - Closed | All for the Race (Miracle)

"Why are WE having a watch party for this season?" Aaron demands as he comes onto the zoom call. "We competed in this one! We even know who wins!" he huffs.

"Aaron, don't you wanna see what everyone said about you behind your back?" Nicky asks visibly confused by Aaron's lack of enthusiasm.

"I don't give a shit about what any of you said about me." Aaron says, "I care if you said any shit about Katelyn." he points at the camera.

"I would never." Allison says with mock offense, "the only thing even remotely negative I've said about Katelyn on the show and in real life is that she has bad taste in men." she smiles.

"Also! This time we can have some other friends in on the fun!" Nicky adds pushing past his cousin's outrage. "Jeremy did you manage to get Jean to come?" he asks.

"Sure did!" Came Jeremy's bright response and face on the camera.

"This is stupid." Jean says sitting next to him with his arms crossed, "I hate to agree with the other Minyard, but he's right." he says.

"Glad to have you!" Nicky continues not paying his complaints any mind.

idk if there are any 19/20 fans on tumblr but i just finished and here’s my thought dump:

🥲🥲🥲🥲 it really was like a coming of age drama.

ji-woo’s honesty and communication throughout the show was so admirable. she was bold about her feelings, apologized when necessary, and was empathetic even when the love triangle was giving her a hard time.

i was so proud of the way se-yeon gave ji-woo his best. he was chivalrous and put in lots of effort knowing it might not work out; regardless, he stayed true to his feelings with no regrets. he respected her autonomy and remained good friends with jung-yun even after everything.

ji-woo gave him such honest reasoning for choosing jung-yun yet made it clear that she appreciated her and se-yeon’s time together. seeing them both cry knowing it’s best to let each other go—after giving the relationship their best shot—was so bittersweet. they grew from a brand new, difficult challenge and navigated it so gracefully.

his and ji-woo’s interview right after ending things made me cryyyy. it’s so evident that both of them remained genuine toward their relationship until the end.

hee-ji and pyeong-seok’s relationship speaks for itself. hee-ji was consistent and i loved seeing pyeong-seok grow more affectionate and caring toward her after starting out so shy!

yeah :’) those are my positive notes 🤍 youth that are dedicated to their growth and relationships are so so admirable.

South Korea quick question...

Are your schools strategically placed on the highest hill in every sector to ensure you wake up from the climb by the time you reach class or is it so that you guys can’t escape easily. One or both... I’ve always realized this in drama’s but never asked(or have I) and since I’m watching ‘Nineteen to Twenty’ I need to know... who is responsible for this labor tactic so early in the morning. Is it the cheapest land.. what is it... thank you in advance.

I'm rewatching Steven Universe and I will never forgive Fandom for what it did to her

#also watching it at age 19-20 as it was released and experiencing the resulting clusterfuck online fandom response was a wild trip #im finally rewatching it again at 25 and really really feel lucky to have seen it at the age i did #i have completely different perspective on it now that i have 3 young nephews and a neice where before i was in college #the music is still as incredible as it was back then #and the animation #i cant beleive people got honestly and truly upset and violently aggressive about characters being off model sometimes #early stevens voice though kills me after awhile...... the yelling .... but his characters growth and development also being reflected in #his voice changing as he grows up #they also go crazy hard on some scenes #who am i kidding the show was a masterpiece and ahead of its time
