If we’re being totally honest Dick hasn’t had a ❤️ life since S1. Kory is the only woman he’s slept with in present day. Most of DB’s relationship is shown through flashbacks. He fights with her in 3x01-3x05 then supposedly gets reminiscent in 3x06 and kisses her at the end of 3x07. They’re supposed to go to a gala in 3x08, but they don’t make it because he gets hit by a truck ON HIS MOTORCYCLE 👀 and ends up in the hospital. (Clearly he was never meant to make it to the gala). They may hold hands in that episode? but it’s very brief. 3x10 they meet in a bar that was used in 3x06 (for nostalgia I suppose) and the whole conversation is about him disassociating himself with her/GCPD, laying low and fighting crime with The Titans in the shadows. The Titans turn themselves over to GCPD at the end of the episode and Barbara gets arrested. 3x11 Barbara is in jail and Dick doesn’t even visit her because he’s too busy looking for Jason and Crane and gets killed. 3x12 he dreams about his daughter with Kory and they end whatever it was they supposedly had in the finale. They don’t hug, kiss, fist bump - NOTHING. If I was a DB fan I would be pissed!
Tumblr media
Very well said - they didn’t really ‘rekindle’ much and they didn’t really explore much of their relationship. From what I saw of S3, it didn’t feel like the show actually wanted us to be all in on that particular ship.
Whether it was intentional or not… if I was a db fan for s3 and i had been told i would be getting my ship, I’d be foaming at the mouth, regardless of what place the ship has in a Titans show.
With any luck, it will just reinforce how he feels for Kory even more so in s4 👀 🤷🏻‍♀️

Babylon Berlin whump list
Tumblr media
from netflix: “A Soviet freight train's hijacking leads a haunted cop and a poor typist to uncover a political conspiracy amid the vice and glamour of 1929 Berlin.” all whump refers to the main character (the haunted cop), gereon rath.
important notes: the show is in german and has the option of english audio or captions. it is available on netflix in the us and presumably germany too, not sure about anywhere else. it gets pretty heavy and there are several suicides/attempts as well as a lot of other stuff that i won’t get into for the sake of spoilers and keeping this short. if you want to know anything specific please shoot me an ask or a message!
i have tried to keep this list as spoiler free as possible, but there may be some slight, vague spoilers in here. this list has been a long time coming and i really hope it’s helpful!

Chicago pd season 3 is the season of Moustead I've decided
In the rewrite regardless of whether I kill Nadia or not (still leaning toward not but we'll see), Erin is gonna be a mess (affectionate) and she and Jay are gonna have a conversation about how yes they're partners in pretty much every sense of the word and will always be there for each other, including romantically, but Erin isn't in the right place for a committed relationship right now (don't get me wrong I very much like Lindstead I am a multishipper at heart) so like they still have a Thing but also not but the Lindstead aspects of s3 continue pretty much unchanged for the most part
So 3x01 and 3x03 happen and Jay and Mouse have their "holy shit I could've lost you today" moments but Mouse has been pining for like a decade at this point and doesn't act on his feelings
3x07 continues the Jay centric episodes of my dreams, then 3x10 and 3x11 follow for more Jay character opportunities
Then in 3x15 Mouse gets Jay the security job at the dispensary and he meets Terry Egan, who is gonna be gay and single here with Lissa being his pregnant sister instead, and Jay and Terry hit it off instantly and have a thing, which ends brutally in 3x17 with the robbery that kills Terry and just ruins Jay's entire day
And then instead of Kim/Roman developing romantically it's Moustead to round off the season, and I have not watched s4 yet but Mouse is not leaving actually I'm too attached (see me also not killing Nadia)

I am officially giving in to my impulse to watch supernatural, but like I don't think i can do fifteen seasons, so I'm looking for advice. I watched the first couple of seasons like, years ago, but i am basically only coming back because of the deancas fandom on tumblr these past few weeks. do you have any seasons you would start with, any episodes i should watch, etc.
dkjasjldfdklsfdlk like 2 years ago i was working on a list of spn episodes that would omit a lot of the bad writing and filler. i only made it to season 7 but i’ll drop the draft under the cut and maybe i’ll finish the rest of it after the semester is over
seasons 1-3
ok so the thing about the early seasons is that spn is an evolving beast. this is part of what makes the show fascinating and compelling, but it also makes binge watching it weird as hell. it was a very different show in 2005 than it is today in 2018 (holy shit). the tone is different, the monsters are different, even the way the show LOOKS visually is very different. it’s also much less focused on an overarching plot and the episodes tend to be more self-contained, so you can safely skip many of them.
full disclosure: i actively dislike the early seasons because i think they’re dank and dark and ugly as hell, so i have little memory of the episodes i’m about to recommend to you here lmao. some people feel the exact opposite and will tell you that the only time spn was actually any good was in its first couple of seasons and it’s sucked ever since. and i will concede that the early seasons might, technically, be “good.” however, they are not valid. ahem. anyway:
season 1 - meet the winchesters
*1x01, Pilot. it sucks imo but it’s the pilot
1x09, Home. missouri mosely is in this one, but it can be skipped if you’re in a rush
1x11, Scarecrow. meg’s first appearance
1x12, Faith. this episode gets referenced often and is a significant one for The Brothers.
*1x14, Nightmare. sam has plotty visions
*1x16, Shadow. john returns and so does meg
1x17, Hell House. the tulpa episode and the first appearance of the ghostfacers. skippable, but why would you
1x18, Something Wicked. john is not a good father
the final three episodes of the season set up the plot for season 2, so they’re worth watching if you want to know what’s going on.
season 2 - a conga line of demon deals, part i
*2x01, In My Time of Dying. picks up where the final of season 1 left off. tessa’s first appearance
2x02, Everybody Loves a Clown. ellen harvelle’s first appearance
*2x05, Simon Said. sam’s powers are partially explained
2x08, Crossroad Blues. first appearance of hellhounds
*2x10, Hunted. continues sam’s psychic children arc from 2x05
2x14, Born Under a Bad Sign. feat. jo and meg. if you like jo watch 2x06
*2x15, Tall Tales. first appearance of gabriel, currently masquerading as a trickster god
the last two episodes make up a two-parter finale that pulls together the plot and sets up for season 3, so probably watch those
season 3 - a conga line of demon deals, part ii
*3x01, The Magnificent Seven. who let the demons out? (woof woof)
*3x02, The Kids Are Alright. first appearance of lisa braeden and ruby
3x04, Sin City. ruby antics; the colt is introduced
*3x09, Malleus Maleficarum. the ruby backstory episode
3x10, Dream a Little Dream of Me. the bobby backstory episode. if you like bela, watch 3x03 and 3x06 too, and make sure to hit up 3x15
*3x11, Mystery Spot. gabriel returns to torment the winchesters. simultaneously one of the funniest and most brutal episodes of spn, has been HEAVILY memed, definitely watch this one
3x12, Jus in Bello. bela is there, ruby is there. if you like henrikson, go back and watch 2x12 and 2x19
3x13, Ghostfacers. gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day
*3x16, No Rest for the Wicked. it’s the finale, duh
seasons 4-5
seasons 4 and 5 are when shit starts getting cosmic, with the show actively working towards an endgame. more episodes are tying into the plot as opposed to being stand alone monster-of-the-week. but the most important thing is that castiel is finally, finally gonna grace your screen
season 4 - gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day, part i
*4x01, Lazarus Rising. pamela barnes’ first appearance. cas walks in lookin like a bird of paradise
4x02, Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester. cas crashes dean’s dreams
*4x03, In the Beginning. a time travel episode; mary and john’s backstory
4x06, Yellow Fever. dean catches ghost flu and it gives him anxiety
*4x07, It's The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester. uriel appears, calls humans “mud monkeys,” plans to smite whole town
4x08, Wishful Thinking. the one with the teddy bear. skippable, i included it for the memes
*4x09, I Know What You Did Last Summer. anna appears
*4x10, Heaven and Hell. the angel drama from last episode continues
4x14, Sex and Violence. the one where dean is manipulated by a male siren. can be skipped but it’s insane so why would you
*4x15, Death Takes a Holiday. tessa and pamela return
*4x16, On The Head of a Pin. dean’s hell trauma episode. cas takes a step towards rebellion. definitely recommend watching this one, but big TW for torture
4x17, It’s a Terrible Life. the one where dean drinks health shakes
*4x18, The Monster at the End of This Book. the chuck episode
yeah, you’re gonna wanna watch the whole rest of the season, basically. it’s all relevant and for the most part pretty engaging
season 5 - team free will
*5x01, Sympathy for the Devil. cas’s first death, but far from his last. chuck returns and becky rosen the wincest shipper (yes, really) debuts
*5x02, Good God, Y’all. cas searches for god, the harvelles return
*5x03, Free To Be You and Me. funny and sweet, with cas and dean both showing their softer sides, destiel stans do NOT skip this one
*5x04, The End. absolutely depressing as fuck but you gotta. also, pink satiny panties
5x08, Changing Channels. the one with dr sexy. gabriel returns. as funny as mystery spot but less brutal, 10/10 do recommend
5x09, The Real Ghostbusters. the one where they go to a spn fan convention
*5x10, Abandon All Hope... crowley’s first appearance
*5x13, The Song Remains the Same. another time travel episode. anna breaks bad
5x14, My Bloody Valentine. equal parts goofs and tremendous gore, feat. naked cupid and a horseman of the apocalypse
*5x15, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid. jody’s debut episode
5x17, 99 Problems. the whore of babylon and a drunk cas. lisa reappears
*5x18, Point of No Return. “i gave everything for you.”
*5x19, Hammer of the Gods. lucifer comes for the pagan gods, gabriel “dies”
*5x21, Two Minutes to Midnight. the conga line of demon deals marches on
*5x22, Swan Song. the apocalypse
seasons 6-7
the apocalypse has been averted, but the ever-present threat of cancellation hasn’t. spn attempts to find a new path after the conclusion of the apocalypse arc, with mixed results. personally i’m just glad the sets are properly lit now
season 6 - a burning ring of fire
there’s some shit with like.... the brothers’ grandpa in this season that basically doesn’t matter and is never mentioned again so just don’t worry about it
*6x01, Exile on Main Street. sets up the season, so you should probably watch
6x02, Two and a Half Men. the bros take care of a baby
*6x03, The Third Man. cas returns, we meet balthazar
6x04, Weekend at Bobby’s. not essential but a good episode that focuses almost entirely on bobby
6x07, Family Matters. watch to find out what the heck is going on with sam
*6x10, Caged Heat. meg is back and she’s hitting on cas
*6x11, Appointment in Samarra. ooooooooooo death
*6x12, Like a Virgin. introduces eve
6x15, The French Mistake. the one where they go to our universe and spn is just a television show. on par with mystery spot and changing channels, do recommend
*6x17, My Heart Will Go On. cas breaks all the rules
*6x19, Mommy Dearest. a plotty episode about eve and her diabolical schemes
*6x20, The Man Who Would Be King. “we can fix this, cas” “dean, it’s not broken!”
6x21, Let It Bleed. the dean/lisa subplot comes to an end
*6x22, The Man Who Knew Too Much. the one where cas becomes god
season 7 - gay love can pierce through the veil of death and save the day, part ii
*7x01, Meet the New Boss. cas fucks up big time
*7x02, Hello Cruel World. sera gamble fucks up big time. also, jody is back
7x04, Defending Your Life. watch if you miss jo
*7x09, How to Win Friends and Influence Monsters. the one where the leviathans are capitalism
7x10, Death’s Door. the one where bobby dies but won’t move on
7x11, Adventures in Babysitting. sam meets krissy chambers. skippable, but in this house we love & support krissy chambers
7x15, Repo Man. this one is technically skippable but it goes so hard and the twist is so fucked up i recommend it anyway
*7x17, The Born-Again Identity. cas returns to save the show from cancellation yet again. i actually kind of hate this episode lol but there are reasons why it sucks--the backstage antics behind it are insane and some... Things... were cut. i recommend reading what this post has to say about it
7x18, Party On, Garth. absolutely not required viewing but nice if you need some comic relief in this shitstorm of a season
7x20, The Girl With The Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo. charlie bradbury’s first episode!
*7x21, Reading is Fundamental, Kevin’s first episode. also features “crazy!cas,” a concept which is about as horrendously executed as you might imagine. just grin and bear it, it does get better
the final two episodes wrap up the season and set up season 8, so do watch them

quinn fabray is a lesbian - season three
3x01: the purple piano project
quinn tells santana and brittany she isn’t interested in boys
when rachel walks away from under the bleachers after trying to convince her to rejoin glee club, quinn checks her out
stares directly at the ass a cheerio during “it’s not unusual”
3x04: pot o’ gold
with a facial expression that suggests it’s some secret thing, quinn is the only one watching santana when she walks away after “last friday night”
3x05: the first time
is visibly upset when rachel brings up almost having sex with finn, despite the fact we know she is over finn
3x07: i kissed a girl
votes for brittany solely because she’s a girl
quinn saying “it’s not a choice idiot, and even if it were, you’d be our last choice” to the rugby player harassing santana is the first instance of a trend of quinn being extra-supportive of gay people in season three, but her wording and determination when she says something supportive always suggests that she may be gay (i have to admit, this one may be a little bit of a stretch, but i think when factored in with everything else, it counts)
throws her arm around rachel’s chest possessively during “i kissed a girl”
throughout “i kissed a girl” quinn seems to be the happiest to have girls basically throwing themselves at her. like, she looks even happier than santana and brittany, the two characters canonically attracted to women
i’m not quite sure how to describe her face when she hugs santana at the end of “i kissed a girl” but it does look like she is attracted to santana
3x08: hold on to sixteen
quinn is able to immediately hone in on rachel in the hallway at the beginning of the episode
quinn stares after rachel after telling her about shelby and puck in a way that is reminiscent of the hallway scene from 1x06
quinn immediately stops at the sound of rachel’s voice when she goes to tell figgins about shelby and puck.
quinn is unable to make eye contact with rachel when rachel is trying to get her not to tell figgins about shelby and puck
during the scene outside figgins’ office, her demeanor when interacting with rachel can be best described as flirty
quinn stares up at rachel lovingly during “we are young”
3x10: yes/no
quinn stares at tina lovingly when will is proposing to emma at the end of “we found love”
3x11: michael
when rachel tell quinn that finn proposed, quinn immediately fakes shock, then becomes visibly upset, then insists that rachel has to say no
similar to 1x07, after a negtive interaction with rachel, quinn goes into a dream sequence where she sings a love song (never can say goodbye)
at the end of her speech about going to yale in the choir room, quinn makes direct eye contact with rachel and with tears in her eyes says “you can’t change your past, but you can let go and start your future”
3x13: heart
quinn is very upset when finn and rachel announce their engagement, and seems to be okay with being uninvited
quinn uses “stereo hearts” as an excuse to hold hands with and dance around with rachel
when joe says he’s never met a gay person, quinn says “oh i guarantee you have”
similar to 3x07, quinn is quick to defend gay people and, despite being a mega christian, points out condemnation of homosexuality as another dumb thing in the bible that people shouldn’t follow. she has evidence prepared as if she does this daily
3x14: on my way
quinn smiles and makes eye contact with rachel when rachel says she wants to be friends with everyone for the rest of her life
bites her lip and looks super sad when rachel and finn say they’re getting married directly after regionals.
in the hallway scene with rachel she: asks if rachel was singing to” finn and only finn” as if she hopes rachel will say she was also singing to her, says rachel must really love finn as if she’s accepting something heartbreaking, says she wants to support rachel at the wedding and tacks on finn as an afterthought, and when she hugs rachel she smiles but her eyes look like her heart is broken
BONUS - DELETED BRIDESMAIDS SCENE: quinn says that rachel is the “shiniest star” of everyone in glee club, talks about what she admires about rachel, says she doesn’t want to see rachel ruin her life by marrying finn (she puts emphasis on who specifically rachel is marrying), and seems relieved when rachel asks her not to come to the wedding
3x19: prom-asaurus
quinn gets santana to help her make rachel prom queen, even though she finally won the title she had been after since 1x02
has the world’s most loving smile on her face when rachel is announced as prom queen
sort of runs her eyes over santana’s body when santana helps her stand during “take my breath away”
3x20: props
sugar-as-quinn looks absolutely distraught when tina-as-rachel sings “because you loved me”
3x21: nationals
quinn and tina stand like a couple during the scene where people are fighting while trying to practice choreography
watches santana as she runs off after the unholy trinity “started together, finished together” scene
3x22: goodbye
quinn spends literal hundreds of dollars in order to easily keep in touch with rachel after high school
quinn stares lovingly at rachel during “roots before branches”

If you made a squeal to paying the asking price (not saying you have to, but I’m curious) how you would rewrite season 3 with Brainy coming back.
Ooh. That’s a good question? And I’m not sure I would do a sequel, because if I did it would be pretty similar to the actual season 3 (since I did like most of it, aside from the love triangle). However:
In the first episode, the dream/vision Kara has is sent by Imra, who is a telepath in this version, foreshadowed by the planet Saturn being in the background as Kara reunites with Brainy and her mother. Here it would be something deliberate, using the information she has in the future of those most important to Kara, in order to give her hope and tell her (albeit subconsciously) that Brainy is not dead. Because Kara does not know her yet, she can’t appear in the visions herself, but she gives her a hint as to who is sending her the dreams and uses Brainy as a messenger of some sort to inspire Kara when she is at her lowest point.
(aka my theory from the actual season 3 when the premiere aired, that I for sure sent to Supergirl Radio back then.)
And maybe in 3x02 when she’s seeing herself trapped in a pod again, there’s foreshadowing there too? Like the planet Saturn pops up again, and she doesn’t think about it at the time. I’m not sure if I would have them show up earlier than episode 7, because that might not work with the story of the season, but I might also want to have Brainy reach out to Kara earlier. Even though I do like Kara working through her angst and trauma early in the season. That’s very good. (not sure if that would be as present here? Because she knows she’s sending him home? But then again she also doesn’t know if he’s going to make it, so it’s questionable)
I want Reign to have her sword earlier? But I’m not sure when exactly I would put it in. It just looks very cool and it would be neat/badass to see her forge it herself, or to see it presented to her by the Kryptonian witches. Or it’s in her pod? Or the cult guy finds it? I don’t know.
Cult guy can stay, he was interesting. And the former cult member girl that James befriends stays too.
Brainy is not married to Imra. Imra is in a poly relationship with the two other core Legion founders, and she is very happy. Also if they wanted to make her look Indian, she could have just been played by an Indian actress? So I would have that be a thing, in my version. Also I’m not sure which Legionnaires would be introduced? But here’s some fancasts: John Harlan Kim as Lightning Lad, Holly Deveaux as Dream Girl, Kimiko Glenn as Phantom Girl, Michael Seater as Invisible Kid, Summer Bishil as Saturn Girl, Aaron Pierre as Cosmic Boy, Jacob Batalon as Bouncing Boy
Superman shows up at some point, to reunite with some of his Legion friends and possibly to give Kara some advice, as he’s dealt with a guy he knew as Davis who was similar to Reign. But I’d still have Alex say what she did to Kara in 3x09, and 3x10 would be very similar to the canon episode because I love it so much. (In terms of Kara being in a coma, and Brainy helping her out of it by telling her what Alex would say. Also the Streaky scene in its entirety, it’s perfect and needs no improvements from me)
There’s obvious tension between the DEO and the Legion because Brainy is keeping secrets from them again (since we know he does respect the timeline and all here) although of course he is in on everything. When he would’ve returned to the future, after he was healed up he would find that while the AI plague his parents talked about wasn’t real, the Blight is, and of course he devotes his time to working on a way to fix it. But when he can’t find any solutions in the 31st century, he decides to go to the source of the problem, and either it’s the same deal as in canon and he puts everyone in cryo-sleep, or they arrive just a little bit early and they wait until the timeline says a spaceship is recovered from under the National City harbor.
Kenny isn’t dead, thank you. He’s kidnapped, or goes missing, but he’s not dead. That wasn’t necessary.
Kara and Alex go to Argo together, and there’s more of an exploration of Kara’s feelings about a part of her planet being preserved. Also because Sam randomly saw Alura in a vision, maybe Alura had a part in the Worldkillers’ creation?
We still get Space Granddad, he’s still a delight.
Not sure how I would tackle Maggie and Alex? Or James and Winn, for that matter. I’d just say that the latter couple is still going strong, and have them continue to work together, with similar emotional scenes in the second half of season 3 as we saw in episodes 14 and 16, at least.
Eve may or may not be working on something shady behind Lena’s back, or she inspires Lena to start working on something shady.
I would have some Kara and Brainy angst in addition to them being happy to see each other again, because of the keeping secrets and the difference in Brainy’s demeanor that the inhibitors have caused. But they work things out, and of course still love each other.
Also, there’s more depth with Brainy and Winn’s rivalry, which I did a whole separate post about.
Kara and Sam, as well as Sam and Alex, probably have more friendship scenes, and so do Lena and James. Maybe (since Jack in my fic isn’t dead) he and Lena begin to rekindle their relationship?
No fighting Nazis in the crossover. I don’t think that was necessary.
I would introduce the Kryptonian witches earlier too? Like that concept, have Sam be visited by their holograms too, or have Selena tell her about them. And have some kind of thing about their knowing magic and then Kryptonians being vulnerable to magic.
The Legionnaires’ costumes might be the same here? Except that Brainy’s costume is what we saw from him in 5x10 and 19, because again, it’s perfect. Although I don’t really see a reason why they would have darker costumes just because they’re in a Dark Future. Why not have them be symbols of hope, like the Super-cousins, with costumes to match?
Related: James gets a costume redesign.
I probably wouldn’t include the Bon Jovi thing from 3x10, but maybe Brainy does bring the 21st century things he discovered and came to love back with him to show his friends.
Kara gets a dog. Because she deserves it.
Fort Rozz’s malfunctions in 3x11 involve Indigo somehow.
I don’t know how I would change Morgan Edge?
I would keep the Alex and Ruby bonding, because that is adorable
The DEO doesn’t storm into Julia/Purity’s house
We see the game night with the Super-friends and the Legionnaires! Winn and Brainy play Trivial Pursuit as partners! It’s adorable!
Winn leaves and Brainy stays, like in canon. Also Winn mentions that Brainy’s chair in the Legion ship looks like an egg.
Kara speaks more Kryptonian
Lena doesn’t “outsmart” Brainy by taking control of the Legion ship when he leaves his chair in 3x17
someone points out Lena wearing dresses that are sometimes inappropriate for the settings she’s in
J’onn confesses his old secret

A Line Too Far
Yesterday, I had a spirited discussion with some anti-Scott individuals, including a BNF.  One of the things that stuck in my mind in that exchange was how one of them, at least, viewed the Some of Us Are Human speech in Lies of Omission (5x09) as something good.  They tried to defend it by saying that Stiles was praising Scott, setting him up on a pedestal.
And it mystifies me, because this speech is the primary reason I have serious problems with Stiles on a fundamental level.  I don’t hate the character, but he would never be my favorite simply because when dealing with people he’s supposed to love and care about, he had no boundaries. And I’m not just talking about breaking into their houses, listening in on their phone calls, reading their mail, and making decisions about their lives, I’m talking about when dealing with them in a relationship, there was simply no limit to what he would do to achieve his goals. This particular speech, in my opinion, embodies that, as it is frankly the cruelest speech I can remember one television character giving another television character that they’re supposed to love.  Let me reproduce it for you as reference:
Stiles: Scott? Where did you get that?
Scott: This is yours? Why didn't you tell me?
Stiles: I was going to.
Scott: No, but why didn't you tell me when it happened?
Stiles: I couldn't.
Scott: You killed him? You killed Donovan?
Stiles:  Well, he was going to kill my dad. Huh? Was I supposed to just let him?
Scott: You weren't supposed to do this. None of us are.
Stiles: You think I had a choice?
Scott: There's always a choice.
Stiles: Yeah, well, I can't do what you can, Scott. I know you wouldn't have done it. You probably would've just figured something out, right?
Scott: I'd try.
Stiles: Yeah, because you're Scott McCall! You're the True Alpha! Guess what? All of us can't be True Alphas. Some of us have to make mistakes. Some of us have to get our hands a little bloody sometimes. Some of us are human!
That wasn’t praise; it was sarcasm, Stiles self-proclaimed ‘only defense.’  It wasn’t an acknowledgement that Scott was superior to him, it was an attempt to change the topic from Stiles’s behavior to Scott’s.   It was false, it was strategic, and it was cruel.  Under the jump, I’ll talk about exactly why.
The only way for me to possibly think of this speech as praise would be to extract it from all context and history.  It should be clear from what was happening during the scene that this was an attempt by Stiles to protect himself by attacking Scott in the most vicious way he could imagine – by attacking the basis of their friendship, by arguing that they simply weren’t equals anymore, and that he should be granted leeway because of it.
While I think the setup was badly handled – in my opinion this scene would have been 20x better for the production and better for the character of Stiles if he had actually beat Donovan to death with a wrench during the attack -- the writing wasn’t awful, mostly because Stiles’s behavior was consistent from previous seaons.    He did something very similar with Lydia in Master Plan (2x12), when he shouted at a grieving girl, “See, that's the problem. You - you don't care about getting hurt. But you know how I'll feel? I'll be devastated. And if you die, I will literally go out of my freakin' mind,” in order to change the topic from what she desired to what he did.  He did something very similar with Derek in The Overlooked (3x10), when he tried to make himself feel better at Derek’s expense, “Are you telling me what to do now? When your psychotic, mass murdering girlfriend... the second one you've dated, by the way...”  in the middle of a highly dangerous situation.   And finally, he did the exact same thing to his father in The Girl Who Knew Too Much (3x09) with “You just don’t believe.  Mom would have believed me.”   Stiles sacrificed this emotional link with his father – his mother’s death – to get his own way.  These are all previous attempts to use cruelty to control people he supposedly cares about.   Stiles lashing out at Scott can’t be seen as anything else but another instance of the same.
And this speech, to me, is extremely cruel, especially when you take the context of their friendship into account.   I can go through it line by line and explain the mechanism of its ruthlessness.
Yeah, because you're Scott McCall! You're the True Alpha.   This is not only cruel, it’s hypocritical.   Who was one of the people who pushed Scott into becoming a True Alpha?  Who said “Look, you have something, Scott. Okay? Whether you want it or not, you can do things that nobody else can do. So that means you don't have a choice anymore. It means you have to do something” to Scott?   This was after Stiles had literally tortured Scott for not doing the right thing.   It was a seminal moment.   For Stiles to turn on Scott after setting him on this path is simply disgusting.  It’s not being delivered as a compliment.  It’s being delivered as an accusation, especially when you see what comes next.
Guess what? All of us can't be True Alphas.  He shouts this at Scott and he knows damn well that Scott’s never demanded anything like that of Stiles before.  In Night School (1x07), in Venomous (2x05), in Battlefield (2x11), in Chaos Rising (3x05), in Silverfinger (3x17), Scott has always been aware of Stiles’s limitations.   I mean, there was this exchange in Battlefield (2x11):
Stiles: It's going to be bad, isn't it? I mean, like people screaming, running for their lives, blood, killing, maiming kind of bad?
Scott: Looks like it.
Stiles: Scott, the other night seeing my dad get hit over the head by Matt, you know, while I'm just lying there and I can't even move, it just - I want to help, you know, but I can't do the things that you can do. I can't –
Scott: It's okay.
Stiles knows that Scott doesn’t expect him to be a True Alpha or even a werewolf.  He never even offered Stiles the Bite until it was possibly the only thing to keep him from dying of frontotemporal dementia.  Scott never expected Stiles to be anything but what he was: a human being.  And expecting a human being to tell the truth and not to murder people isn’t outrageous behavior.
Some of us have to make mistakes.  This is a key line.  Stiles has been there for all of Scott’s mistakes as a werewolf and a leader.  He’s been critical of Scott for his mistakes, in Heart Monitor (1x06), in Formality (1x11), in Frenemy (2x06), in Alpha Pact (3x11), in The Divine Move (3x24), in The Benefactor (4x04), and in Parasomnia (5x02).  Stiles has never hesitated when pointing out when Scott has made a mistake and has often mocked him for it.  So this isn’t praise; it’s sarcasm.
Some of us have to get our hands a little bloody sometimes.  Again, Stiles knows this statement isn’t true.  He was there in Night School (1x07) when Scott confessed that he wanted to kill people, Stiles included.   He was there in Motel California (3x06) when Scott confessed “every time I try to fight back, someone gets hurt.”   He must have been told that Scott held a dying Allison in his arms after leading her into battle in Insatiable (3x23) and he was present when Aiden died trying to fight for his cause in The Divine Move (3x24).   Does anyone think that Stiles didn’t learn about the fight with the rogue hunters in Monstrous (4x10) or Berserker Scott stabbing Kira in Smoke & Mirrors (4x12)?  Or that Scott didn’t talk to him about his failure to save Lucas in Condition Terminal (5x04)? The idea that Scott has never gotten his hands bloody was untrue.  Stiles knew it was untrue, but Stiles was seeking to change the topic from Stiles’s actions to Scott’s beliefs.
Some of us are human!  And this is the ultimate cruelty.  He knows that Scott’s been afraid of losing his humanity since the night he was bit, a night Stiles played a role in.  He’s been there for every dark moment in Season 1 and for the manifestation of that fear – the shadow alpha -- in Anchors (3x13) and More Bad Than Good (3x14). Does anyone believe that Stiles didn’t interrogate Scott about his dreams in Time of Death (4x08)?  Stiles – as he habitually has with Lydia and Derek and his father – homed into his best friend’s weakness and struck at it with tactical viciousness.
This was the scene that made me realize my problem with Stiles would unfortunately, never go away. Some people talk about the dog bowl scene or the assault in the hospital and those are all instances of terrible behavior, but all characters make mistakes.  To me, the final line was crossed in this speech.   This wasn’t about Stiles ‘showing love.’  This wasn’t even really about Stiles defending himself.  This was about Stiles’ expectation that he had the right to cross any boundary and Scott would still be his friend, which mostly seemed to consist of Scott doing as he was told.   The line was crossed not just because Stiles said these things, but because all the characters’ response to him saying these things was … nothing.   The characters never mentioned it; the production never mentioned it.  This decision gave tacit approval to Stiles’s terrible behavior.   Oh, that’s just Stiles, the show was saying.  He gets like that when he’s upset.
Yep.  That was just Stiles.  And that’s my problem.

Hello!sorry to bother you, feel free to not answer this. I am a fellow fan who voted in your sterek pool and think you are amazing for doing it! Anyway i read #12 is your favourite sterek moment and i am so curious to know why if you want to talk about it!i just can't have enough sterek talking!have a lovely day/night and thanks for keeping the sterek light alive with your amazing work!
Thank you hon!
Okay so here’s the thing, I love the elevator scene on it’s own but if that scene had been separated from the other sterek scenes in the hospital sequence I probably would’ve chosen the dream scene as my favorite instead. So here’s why the elevator scene has won me over: because it’s the culmination of a whole episode of incredible sterek interactions.
The elevator scene happens at the beginning of episode 3x11, but before we reach that we have to go through my favorite sterek episode: 3x10.
Here’s all that happens in episode 10 in relation to sterek:
It starts with this powerful scene that also made it to the top 20 for good reason. At the beginning of this scene Derek is under the influence of Jennifer’s magic, nothing had broken him from it so far and Jennifer is at the peak of her powers (she has only 3 sacrifices left), but then one tear from Stiles and Derek breaks free, and he stops blindly believing Jennifer (and notice how his gaze holds Stiles’ even when he starts asking her about Stiles’ dad, it gives me shivers). Also not featured into this gifset is the fact that Derek turns on Jennifer when Scott throws the mistletoe, ready to kill her for what she did, but Stiles’ begs him to stop because they need Jennifer alive to find the sheriff and Derek let’s her go (imagine how hard it must have been for Derek to do that, to let another one of his abusers live);
When the merged twins attack in the hospital, Derek, Stiles and Scott run away, and Derek immediately notices Stiles is running behind and calls his name, and then runs to him when Stiles decides to take a go at the twins with his bat;
Derek lets Stiles yell at him without making a single comment on it because he knows Stiles is worried about his dad and needs to let his anger out (in normal circumstances Derek would talk back, he’s sassy and banter is a sterek thing, so this is the only reason Derek let it happen even tho what Stiles said was hurtful and unfair);
When Jennifer returns to them asking for protection, saying she can save Cora and tell them where the sheriff is, Derek runs towards Jennifer in anger and throws a table in Stiles’ way, which was really unnecessary and makes it seem like he was making sure Stiles doesn’t move towards her (and get himself in danger);
When Stiles grabs the defibrillator he asks Derek what he thinks of it as a weapon (his eyes are locked on Derek, he doesn’t swipe them around the room, so we know he wasn’t asking for the opinion of anyone else) and Derek is gentle in how he handles Stiles, again without any of the usual sass because he knows Stiles is in a vulnerable place, and makes sure Stiles doesn’t hurt himself by telling him to put down the equipment;
After they get Cora in the ambulance Stiles touches Derek’s arm, a gesture in apology and reassurance, most likely for the words he yelled at Derek earlier (here’s a reminder that at this point only one other person has apologized for wronging Derek, the bus driver in season 1 who was terrified and dying);
When Stiles touches Derek’s arm, Derek gets a lightbulb moment; an actual lightbulb lights up behind his head as he looks at Stiles. Jennifer calls for Derek and he goes but he gives Stiles a last glance.
So in this chaotic episode Stiles and Derek still manage to do all of this: care for each other, be there for each other, have illuminating moments about their relationship, show regret for hurting the other.
And then the culmination of all of this happens in the elevator scene. Both Scott and Stiles stop to stare at Derek lying inside the elevator, but here’s where they diverge: Scott leaves and doesn’t come back, Stiles leaves after Scott but he returns for Derek. And let’s be clear here, Scott and Stiles don’t have different stakes in this situation, they both have a parent stuck in the same place and facing the same thing, and actually Stiles’ dad has been gone longer, but Stiles refuses to accept Deucalion’s way and he refuses to leave Derek behind, just like he refused to let his first game stand in the way of him helping Derek, just like he almost drowned in the pool because he wouldn’t let go of Derek’s body.
He just can’t leave Derek.
There’s no gifset that can quite show the way Stiles screams “Derek! Derek, come on!”. I write it here and it doesn’t sound half as anguished as Stiles sounds in the episode. You gotta listen to him to really feel in your core the desperation in Stiles’ voice for Derek to wake up. This is not a shipper thing, this is the reality of how the scene is played.
The scene is filmed from as many angles as they could fit into it, we get to see every reaction, every touch, from all perspectives.
We see Stiles try so hard to wake Derek and when he can’t he makes a fist, but he hesitates because he doesn’t want to hurt Derek, but nothing is working so he has to go for it.
We see Derek grab Stiles’ arm and stop him, see the first reaction he has to it which seems to be “you, too?”, the disappointment of having been wrong again about someone caring about him, about Stiles caring for him.
But then Stiles says in a rush, “we gotta get you out of here. police are coming right now, we need to get you the hell out of here!” and Derek looks incredulous, like Stiles just managed to spin his world upside down.
Because Stiles came back again, Stiles is desperate to get him to safety, Stiles cares about Derek, so much.
Then we get this:
Tumblr media
And I just... I can’t even. Look at their hands, look at the look on Derek’s face, look at how gentle Stiles is.
Tumblr media
And here’s the last reason I love this scene: I’ve read so much meta over the years and many people seem to agree that this is the moment Derek chose Stiles as his anchor. I know some people call the dream scene “the anchor scene”, and it is in a way, but I don’t believe it’s the scene where Derek chose Stiles as his anchor, it’s just the scene where Derek revealed it to us. Why? Because while Sterek have had their incredible moments throughout s1, s2 and s3a, nothing really compares to the absolute devotion Derek has for Stiles during 3b after he finds out Stiles is possessed.  In 3a we have a Derek filled with chaos, who gets easily magicked by a darach, and then all of the hospital sequence happens and at the end of 3a Derek leaves with Cora like he’s at peace with himself (because he found a new, better and improved anchor perhaps??) and when he comes back and finds Stiles is possessed he absolutely loses his sh*t, he stands with the argents, follows chris around because he knows he’s a threat to stiles (see this gifset), is the only one with bags under his eyes even tho he’s a freaking werewolf, goes around fixing stiles’ jeep, trying to figure out stiles’ messages via the chessboard, pretends to be buddy-buddies with the twins, looks like this when stiles is threatened, and is just a general mess. Because his anchor is in jeopardy? You decide, I have my opinion. ;)
Anyway, tldr: the hospital sequence absolutely owns me, and sterek is eternal!

4x11
Anyway I did a second rewatch of the episode keeping the end reveal in mind and reading romcom!Maya as Rebecca and took note of all the subtle cues/callbacks suggesting that this was actually the case:
Maya pining after Joanne after they dated for two weeks [3x08]
“You can’t just grab me and kiss me—what if I did that to you?” [elevator kiss 2x11]
The makeover [Rebecca’s makeover 4x02]
The makeover outfits reflecting the Rebecca/Nathaniel colour palette which I did a whole other post about and was going to link here then Tumblr decided to flag it for some reason (also the fact that in making himself over, Nathaniel turns himself into… himself) and Maya’s subsequent work outfits [Rebecca post 3x10]
Dancing [masquerade 3x02]
“This isn’t the girl I am… I have dreams… I’m a visual artist… But you don’t get it because you don’t get me.”/“Your art… why are you talking about your stupid art?” [Rebecca’s love for theatre; Nathaniel not getting Rebecca wanting to refocus at the end of 4x01]
“I’m so glad I don’t have to spend time with her anymore. With her strong opinions and her weird art.” [“Some people, who I definitely don’t think about or talk about at all anymore... would be provoking me and zinging me and challenging my world view and warming my heart! Thank god that’s not happening. Thank god I don’t have that in my life anymore.” 3x05]
Working together/sharing an office [post 3x10]
Nathaniel covering sleeping Maya with a blanket/Maya covering Nathaniel [the parallel of Rebecca/Nathaniel sleeping has been used in 2x11, 2x12 and 3x05]
Maya impressing Nathaniel with a presentation [Rebecca’s presentation in 2x09]
“I wish you…” [“…the inkiest highlighters.” 3x11]
The convergence of Greg and Nathaniel’s Big Gestures to Rebecca [end of 4x09]
“I have something to tell you…” [“I have feelings inside me that are pertinent to you.” 3x04]
“You, it’s always been you.” [“It was about you.” 3x11]
“I’m not the person I used to be.” [directly referencing the title of 4x08 here]
“You’ve changed my whole life—who I am, who I can be.” [end of 3x05, 3x08]
“You’re quirky; I’m really not.” [“You and I are very different.” 3x08]
“I know the world thinks that we don’t belong together but we do.” [“You and I, we’re meant to be together.” 4x04]
“We had chemistry, lots of it… The sex was amazing… Ever after we had our first kiss in the elevator…” [self explanatory]
“I want you to be happy.” [”Wherever she is... I hope she’s happy.” 3x05]
And, not an R/N callback, but—
“You’re happy, right? You’re happy with Greg?” [“You’re happy, right? And [Josh] treats you well?” 2x02]

The Magicians 3x10 + 3x11: What Even Are the Rules
Tumblr media
Hi, I know, I know I missed a week. It was too late to watch ten, and then eleven was out, and then we just entered total despair free fall. Now here I am Tuesday trying to pick up all the pieces and figure out how I'm going to fit two plot-busting episodes into one reasonably lengthed missive. But I will take up this quest with all the misguided dedication of Beast!Quentin. These episodes were very different in style but Julia's storyline took center stage in both of them, which means maybe I was right to group them together and everything's going to be okay.
Tumblr media
We go into 3x10 with only TWO keys left to find and four episodes to find them in, sounds pretty achievable! Q and his current sidekicks, Alice and Josh, learn the next key is in the throne room at Fillory, hey we know where that is! But this retrieval task is made more complicated by the recent overthrow of Eliot and Margo. Our royal pair have taken up residence on their new friend the Muntjac, who can now take to the skies! Also the Muntjac must have a fabulous wardrobe because that Margo's magenta corset and Eliot's sparkly muumuu (?) were to die (Wed morning edit: these outfits were in 3x11 but I was really excited to talk about them) . Q and co somehow hike through Fillory, get all the goss, and then board the ship in the sky. This all happens off screen so I guess we’re not supposed to worry about it. They conveniently deliver the plot point that Fillory is at war with Loria and the Stone Kingdom, due to the violent incompetency of Tick Dick Pickwick. Eliot and Margo springing into action to figure out how to save their kingdom was a nice character moment for them, and marked how far the two have come. While the rest of the Children of Earth are technically also Kings and Queens, they have mostly been vanity titles. Margo and Eliot meanwhile have taken responsibility for something bigger than themselves (for the first time really), and now are showing a selfless devotion to it, which is a pleasing arc for their characters. Anyway they are still Margo and Eliot so they defend Fillory the only ways they know how: with lies, threats and sex. God bless them.
Tumblr media
While Josh, Quentin and Alice solve a Zelda puzzle in the Fillory throne room, Quentin finally confronts Alice on why she's suddenly so invested in their quest. Alice reveals she is working for the Library, who also has a vested interest in seeing magic restored. This makes sense because as we learned previously the Library's magic is being fueled by ground up fairy bones! A grim and non-renewable resource. However the Library is also shady af so Q is right to be suspish of Alice (who is shady in general). Anyway the key isn't there, and the quest is a bust.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile in the real world, Julia is still on her mission to save the enslaved fairies, and Fen has just discovered emojis. Julia entreats the Fairy Queen to come with her and help free her kinfolk, but it’s Fen's passionate plea that finally sways the Queen into coming. We learn that fairies used to live freely on Earth until Magicians killed them all for their delicious bones. Typical. Julia's plan is to present the Fairy Queen as a slave (complete with Death Necklace), in order to get her to her people and free them. However this plan is complicated by the fact there is no way to remove the necklaces except via beheading. And since the Jaime Ray Newman family has received a large order for fairy bone (likely from The Library that just lost much of their supply), heads are gonna ROLL. Our heroines discover the fairies are held captive by a fairy deal brokered by Dust, who long ago made the ultimate sacrifice in order to allow the OG Fairy Queen (our FQ's mama) to escape Earth. Our current Queen decides to break this deal,  freeing her people, and brutally slaughtering the Newman's (except for Jaime Ray who escapes).
Tumblr media
The Fairy Queen laments to Julia that now the fairy's deals will mean nothing since one was broken, but I was a bit confused by this as how is anyone going to know? Like yeah they broke one deal, but pretty much all the humans aware of that are dead, and unless Jaime Ray is writing a breaking news story for The Fillorian Times, I don't really see the ish. Queenie also tells Julia that the fairies have a Quest Key, but it's sort of being used to prop up the whole Fairy World so no one can have it. I feel like our crafty Magicians are going to find a way to get it though, probably by integrating fairies back onto Earth or Fillory-at-large. What's for sure is that this side quest has muddied the morality waters when it comes to the fairy species. Rather than being cut-and-dry baddies, they are victims of greedy humans and they just want to find a home of their own. I foresee a tentative truce with the reinstated rulers of Fillory in our future. Also many Margo scowls.
Tumblr media
Gah so much happened in this episode (as in all episodes) but there was one more important thing! Penny has been sulkily shelving away down in the Underworld library (I guess Kady has gone to look for him tho? She was conspicuously absent from these two eps) and attempting to find a way out. He does con a dead guy into giving him his Metro Card to the pig that takes you out of the Underworld and presumably to Heaven or Hell (what even IS The Magicians), but before he can use it he is pulled aside for a come to Jesus talk by Hades! Hades is the second Greek/Roman inspired god we have met this season (the first being Bacchus), and he is here to keep it real with Penny. He essentially tells Penny that if Penny stays in the Underworld, he will have a much more glorious destiny than if he returns to his sucky friends on the surface. Penny seems to take this advice to heart as he joins the local Library book club, and dessert-fancier group. As the season has gone on, and Julia's powers have ramped up, the mention of gods, the god-touched, and the appearance of gods themselves has been steadily increasing. I feel like in the quest for magic, Hades will not be the last mythological face we see.
Tumblr media
OKAY NEXT EPISODE. IF YOU WERE SKIPPING 3x10 HERE BEGINNITH 3x11.
Tumblr media
A lot of wild stuff went down in 3x10, but 3x11 was another helping of full on Magicians crazy-time. Once again Julia and Josh (of all people) are the central characters, which is refreshing seeing as how they haven't received a lot of lead story time ESPECIALLY not as a couple (Julia/Josh, pick your shipper name). This episode these two new best friends take a journey into the wild unknown, aka the 23rd Magicians timeline! In season one it was established that there are (at least) 40 timelines in the world of the show (due to a time loop created by...too boring, you remember). This is both insane and totally genius as it is a built in way for the show to bounce into a completely new world, with alternate storylines, whenever it wants. Characters can die, hook-up, become werewolves, anything is possible!  As is the case here when 23 Josh (aka Dick Josh) pulls regular Josh and Julia into their timeline. Here, 23's Beast is essentially immortal and powered by a KEY. The J's decide to pull their weight for once and go after the 7th key on their own, consequences be damned!

As we learned from Season 2 when 23 Alice was summoned into timeline 40, 23 is a pretty f'd up universe. Mostly all of our beloved character's have been brutally killed, and the Beast rules unchallenged. However there is one thing that 23 has that’s worth all of these tragedies and that is KACEY ROHL!!!! My beautiful hedge witch queen lives on in timeline 23! She is just as goth, brash, bitchy, and perfect as I remember. Sure she is missing her signature power pony, but I will survive. She has teamed up with Dick Josh (who has Lasik, a cool jacket, and also werewolf herpes) in a last ditch effort to take out the Beast. Julia and Josh also run into in-love-with-Julia Penny, and GHOST MARGO AND ELIOT. Although one of the strengths of the Magicians is the unexpected fun and character building that comes from different pairings (Josh/Julia, Julia/Fen, Quentin/Penny, etc) there is one couple that should and shall never be parted. Even in bloody horrible death this gruesome twosome shall not be struck from each other's side. I loved the ultimate horror of Eliot being responsible for Margo's hideous death, truly scary! Also half-a-face Margo is still absolutely sickening. Cocks indeed.
Tumblr media
However the biggest twist in this world is that their Beast is no longer Martin Chatwin, but Quentin! And to be honest, a much, much hotter Quentin. No one else thirsty for soulless Beast!Q? Honestly seeing him cut down Alice mid-whine was...extremely satisfying. But how did this happen? Well in Season 2 after 23 Alice was brought briefly to talk with 40 Q, she became obsessed with seeing her Q again. She even sold her soul in order to bring him back to life, albeit shadeless. Yes shadeless Beast Quentin is a ruthless, violent, killer, but goshdarnit he's a pretty fun time. Julia cleverly defeats him by lending him her shade, and once Q is back in possession of the full gamut of his shame, guilt, anxiety, and depression, it is but a matter of moments before he kills himself. Cheery. Anyway Julia takes the key and uses it to return her and Josh to their own timeline. But on top of their return 23 Penny and Marina ALSO go through to timeline 40. Historically in fiction timeline mixing is almost always a terrible idea, but Kacey Rohl back in our lives is worth the risk. Also we are entering a sort of Midsummer Night's Dream world here where there are two Penny's, one who is alive and loves Julia, and one who is dead-ish and loves Kady. Cray!

Misc thoughts from the episode:
I am really not getting the Dean Fogg storyline, it kind of feels like they don't know what to do with this character anymore. He's not even a comic relief as his addiction storylines feel more sad than wry. If there is nothing else to be done with this character, I think time to let him loose.
Also what is the 'Quickening'? 23 Josh had become a dick and isolated himself because he was in fear of the 'Quickening' which would kill all those around him. I assumed he was referring to turning into a werewolf (via the herpes), but it seems like this is something that could happen to regular Josh too? I kept up with a LOT this episode, but this aspect escaped me. If you have a clearer understanding, holla at cha girl.

Only two more episodes and ONE more unattainable fairy key to go!

Also - thinking season wise, I think it’s pretty clear how I feel.
Seasons 2 and 5 are my favorites - though I think season 2 has extreme highs and lows, while season 5 is more consistent.
Seasons 4 and 6 Idk if I could choose between - I think I like them equally, tbh.
Season 1 - which has some great things in the back 9, but the Front 13 always feels like a slog.
and Season 3.  Ug. But it does have some bright moments in it.

Roll Credits | A (mostly) Westallen Series
So, you hear me talk about Roll Credits sometimes on here. But unless you actually go to the Series tab on my AO3 account (or follow my side blog), you prob don’t know exactly what I’m talking about.
In this post, I will sum up what RC is, give you links (AO3 only) to all the fics currently in the series and the ideas I have that just haven’t been written yet b/c I lost inspiration (which is not to say it won’t come back someday, just that for the time being those ideas are on hold).
Roll Credits is essentially a collection of missing westallen (mostly) scenes from season 3 episodes [EDIT: Scenes from other seasons will also now be included]. I never write one for an episode before it airs, because I rly try to make these scenes fit canon as much as is humanly possible, and so I want to see what the episode gave us, so I can know how to realistically fit it in.
It should also be noted that while these are “deleted” scenes from the episodes, they do all relate to each other. So, there may be references to previous fics in the series included in later ones that you wouldn’t know just by watching the show. They’re believable in canon, but they aren’t mentioned in the episodes b/c I came up with them, so it’s more beneficial to read all the fics to fully understand and appreciate them. Still, for the most part they are minor things that can be ignored and the fics can still be understood. The only exception to this are fics that are more or less written in a mini-series and take place one right after the other. The 3x16 and 3x19 fics are specific examples of this.
Listed below in BOLD are the fics I have written (with their links). In italics (and w/ ‘TBD’ as the ‘title’) are the ideas I have not. All are listed chronologically by episode.

Alright, here’s today’s fic from my collection of one shots, written during the hiatus between 3x10 and 3x11. It’s always been one of my favorties, so I hope you all enjoy!
(Ao3)
-
Jemma took deep breaths, struggling to imagine that she was breathing out her anxiety and breathing in calm, like May had told her to. It didn’t help.
In fact, her anxiety only seemed to skyrocket when she heard familiar voices, dulled by the glass separating her from them.
“I don’t know why we’re even – are you taking me to dinner?” The voice she’d had memorized for years had gone up a few octaves at the end, and Jemma pressed a hand to her mouth to hide her sudden grin.
“Not that you aren’t very pretty, mate, but I just don’t think you’re my type, yeah?”
Then, the door to the restaurant opened, and Fitz froze just inside as he caught sight of her, his hand falling away from the door and causing it nearly smack an irritated Hunter in the face.
“I got him here, Simmons, but don’t think you don’t owe me after having to listen to his constant complaining on the way here,” Hunter told her.
“Of course,” Jemma agreed, giving Hunter a grateful smile and a playful salute. Hunter rolled his eyes good-naturedly, returning the salute before leaving, heading back for the SUV they’d arrived in. Turning back to Fitz, who seemed to be staring at her in a mix of confusion and a longing he was clearly trying to hide, she cleared her throat and murmured, “Hello Fitz.”
His eyes flicked up to meet hers from where they’d been studying the dress she’d nearly talked herself out of putting on just an hour before, and he sighed, reaching up to run his fingers through his hair. “Jemma, what…?”
She opened her mouth to explain, but it was just then that the maître d’ returned to show them to their table. Jemma was quick to follow, though she couldn’t help but notice that Fitz hesitated before doing so as well. She caught his little noise of surprise when he likely realized that the restaurant was empty, save for them, and she fought the urge to glance back and assess his expression.
The maître d’ disappeared once more after showing them to their table, and Jemma paused beside it, turning to Fitz to explain before he had any more time to stew and think it over and come up with a long list of protests and reasons why this wasn’t necessary. “I thought that…that perhaps we could have a redo,” she started nervously, wringing her hands in front of her. “Of our…our date.”
Fitz’s eyebrows rose and he quickly corrected, “That wasn’t a date, Jemma. That was just dinner, to try and make you feel better. Obviously it didn’t work, but…” He trailed off, clearly upset with himself, which only made Jemma upset – it had been her that had ruined it by bursting into tears, and he’d been nothing but absolutely perfect the whole time.
However, resolved not to lose her nerve or let Fitz’s ill-placed chivalry discourage her, she gave him a small smile and said, “Alright then, if that was just dinner then this is our first date.” When Fitz looked about to protest, she hurriedly tacked on, “I mean, I did agree to it, however long ago that was, so it’s only fair.”
His eyebrows pulled together over his stormy eyes as he shoved his hands into his pockets. “I was never holding you to that, Jemma. You don’t owe me anything.”
“I owe you everything,” Jemma argued softly, shaking her head. “But, regardless of that, let me be clear – this was my idea, my choice, and my decision. I want to be here, right now, on this date with you. Do you understand?”
He seemed to be struck silent by her words, even though he still looked as though he wanted to protest. Wisely, he didn’t, and just nodded mutely, stepping forward to pull out her chair for her.
“Thank you,” she murmured, tucking the skirts of her dress beneath her as she sat down, watching Fitz take the seat across from her. “Fitz, there are things that I need to tell you, things that you deserved to know a long time ago.”
Fitz appeared to pale a bit at that, but nodded, his expression impassive as he steeled himself for something he surely thought he wouldn’t want to hear. “Alright.”
Feeling brave all of a sudden, Jemma reached across the table, grasping Fitz’s hand in hers and giving it a quick squeeze. “We’ve chosen to spend so many years by each other’s side, and if I had had any choice in the past couple of years, I wouldn’t have had to think twice before choosing to spend them with you once more. The problem is that I didn’t have a choice – that was taken from me, so I had to make do with what I had. I was miserable without you, Fitz. You have to know that. But to survive, to keep myself from losing my sanity and any kind of will to live, I had to pretend that I was happy. I wasn’t, not even a bit, but I didn’t have any other choice. I don’t think you’ll ever truly know just how much I regret ever giving up on you. It’s a mistake I’ll have to live with for the rest of my life, but one I know I’ll never make again. I believe in you, Fitz, and I also believe in us. I believe that what we have is something that can’t be broken; no matter how much space is forced between us, no matter what trials are thrust upon us, I trust that we can get through it. No matter what happens we will always come back to each other. I truly, honestly believe that.”
It was the most Jemma had spoken in a long, long time, and she was grateful that Fitz had waited for her to finish, even though he seemed about to speak several times throughout her speech. She’d spent hours that morning, agonizing over what to say and how to say it, and was glad that she’d managed to get it all out without breaking down or losing her courage. Now that she was finished, however, Fitz let out a sigh and shook his head, and she knew without a doubt that he hadn’t understood a single thing she’d told him. “Jemma, you don’t owe me an explanation –”
“Ugh Fitz!” Jemma interrupted, taking her hand back in order to throw both of them up in exasperation. “Are you even listening to me?! I basically just told you that I think we’ll always be together and have an unbreakable bond –”
“I was listening!” Fitz insisted angrily. “And I agree with you! Of course we’ll always be friends and nothing can change that –”
“Leopold!” she snapped, if only to get his attention and get through that stubborn, thick skull of his. “I’m trying to tell you that I’m in love with you!”
Fitz’s jaw dropped open, an odd squeak being the only thing that escaped his now parted lips. Jemma would’ve felt quite pleased with herself if she wasn’t still so very angry with him for being too noble and good and thick-headed as to realize what she’d been trying to get him to see for so long.
“Fitz, you’re my first choice – my only choice. In fact, in my mind, there was never any choice to be made. It’s you, and it always has been. And I promise you that it always will be.”
His bottom lip seemed to quiver just before he pressed them tight together, and he bowed his head, reaching up to swipe a hand over his face. After a long moment, he glanced back up at her, and she could see that his eyes were distinctly wet. “Jemma –”
It was at that horribly timed moment that the waitress appeared with a smile on her face and a warm, “Are you ready to order?”
Jemma gave the woman a tight smile and requested, “Can we have another few minutes?”
“Of course.”
The waitress made her exit quietly and kindly, and Jemma turned back to Fitz, unable to keep the hopeful smile tugging at her lips from showing. “You were saying?”
“Jemma, I…” Fitz sniffled a bit, sliding a hand across the table and she quickly lifted her own from her lap to meet his. His thumb traced circles on the back of her hand as he attempted to get his thoughts together. “I never thought… Well, no, I thought for awhile, but then…” Shaking his head, he let out a harsh breath, and went on, “I’ve dreamed of hearing you say those words for so long, Jemma. It’s what got me through six long months of being afraid I’d never see you again, and now…” She gave his hand a supportive squeeze, waiting patiently for him to work it all out. “I just… I want you to know that I’m so happy just having you in my life, in whatever capacity you’ll allow. Yes, I’m…I’m rather desperately in love with you, but if all you ever wanted was our friendship, I’d…I’d learn how to live with seeing you with someone else. You know that, right?”
“Of course I do,” Jemma assured him, even though she kind of wanted to burst into simultaneous tears and laughter as her mind repeated ‘desperately in love with you’ on a loop. “But you don’t have to. I don’t want anyone but you, ever.”
“All I’m saying is that…that I want you to be sure, and you don’t have to worry about hurting my feelings or something like that,” Fitz explained, giving her a watery but sincere smile. “First and foremost, you’re my best friend.”
Shaking her head in disbelief, Jemma reached across the table with her free hand, wrapping it around the tie she’d bribed Hunter into wrangling onto him and yanking, forcing him up and closer to her as she bent halfway over the table to press her lips against his in a firm kiss. “I think we should just admit that we’re something much more, something that encompasses it all – best friends, partners, lovers. I’m beginning to think that we’re in fact soulmates, Fitz. I know science says that it’s complete nonsense, but just think of the first law of thermodynamics – when I said that every part of us was once a part of something else, I don’t think I realized then just how right I was. Wherever our particles came from, they were created together, part of a single being. And now, perhaps billions of years later, we’ve come back together, across universes and against all odds, to finally be whole again.”
She might have gone on to say more, but Fitz made the decision for her, surging across the small space between them to capture her lips in a desperate, passionate kiss. Her cheeks were wet where they pressed against his, though she couldn’t tell if was him, or her, or both of them that was crying – it hardly mattered. His free hand cupped her jaw and pulled her in closer while his other hand squeezed hers tightly.
When they parted, they were both breathing with a bit of difficulty, causing the laugh Jemma gave to come out breathy. She rested her forehead against his, leaning into the touch of his fingertips, feather-light against her cheek, wiping away the tears there. “Jemma…” he sighed, and for the first time in so very long, the smile he gave her reached his breathtaking blue eyes.
-
The rough brick of the wall was digging into her shoulder through the thin material of the shirt she was wearing, but Jemma hardly cared. A brilliant grin was shining on her face, and despite her cheeks beginning to hurt, she knew it wasn’t likely to fade anytime soon. Not when she was happier than she had been in longer than she’d care to admit.
A pair of arms wrapped around her waist from behind, pulling her back against a solid chest, and Jemma leaned into the warmth, sighing contentedly. “I figured I’d find you here,” Fitz murmured, pressing a kiss to her temple.
“Sorry,” she replied softly, finding one of his hands with hers and fitting her fingers between his to lace them together. “Did I wake you?”
“No,” he assured her, giving her a small squeeze. “I’ve just turned into a bit of an early riser lately. You weren’t in bed, so I knew you must be here. Though, I didn’t realize it’d be in my shirt.” Playfully, he ran a finger over the hastily done-up buttons of the shirt he’d worn to dinner last night resting over her stomach.
Chuckling, Jemma lifted her free hand to blindly stroke through his sleep-mussed curls. “Well, I have always said that your shirts are more comfortable than mine. And besides, all I had was my dress, and it was already wrinkled beyond recognition from being tossed onto the floor and remaining there all night.”
“Shit. I’m sorry, Jemma,” Fitz sighed, clearly upset with himself. “I should’ve thought to hang it up or at least lay it over a chair.”
Rolling her eyes, she tilted her head back to meet his worried gaze. “Relax, Fitz, I was only teasing. I think you were rather preoccupied at the time – and I would have been very disgruntled if you’d stopped in order to keep my dress from getting wrinkled.” A blush rose on her cheeks and she dropped her gaze as she admitted, “Besides, I may have only worn the dress because I was a bit…interested in the idea of you taking it off of me later.”
Fitz’s arms tightened around her in response, and she glanced up in time to see his eyebrows rise toward his hairline. “Yeah?” When she nodded, coyly biting her bottom lip, he cleared his throat. “Well. I…I hope I lived up to your expectations then.”
Jemma let out a short laugh of disbelief, squeezing his hand gently. “That and more, Fitz. Definitely that and more.”
He looked quite pleased with himself at her words, and Jemma leant up to press a kiss to his chin before dropping her gaze back to the window in front of them, where she could see the golden rays of the sun just rising over the horizon. It was the first sunrise she’d watched in awhile, and had known instinctively when she’d awoken that morning that it was just something that she’d needed to do. For some reason, she’d been confident that he’d follow, and now she felt she understood.
It was a truly beautiful way to begin the first day of the rest of their lives – life – together, and Jemma knew without a doubt that watching the sunrise or not, she would settle for nothing less than beginning her days from now on wrapped in Fitz’s arms, safe in the knowledge that their love could do the impossible when needed, but more than that, it would always be there – unending, unchanging, unbreakable, and simply theirs.

3x01 A Deadly Affair: The beginning of the episode is so intense with Castle being a suspect and Beckett being mad at him (and jealous af) for not telling her that he was back in town and everything. Oh the tension. There’s this nice parallel where Alexis’ crush went away and said he’d call after he came back but he never did. Which is kinda the same situation as Beckett and Castle. And Castle is defending the guy and Martha is like “Oh Richard Castle, that is the stupidest reason I’ve ever heard. Have I taught you nothing about relationships?” They reference Breaking Bad “’We could always make meth.’ .. just like that cable show.” I love the episode. The fighting between Castle and Beckett is great. In the end, Castle is back, Alexis talks to her crush again.
3x02 He’s Dead, She’s Dead: Chet proposes to Martha. But Martha doesn’t quite know whether to marry him or not. Later in the episode, Chet dies. There’s also this medium’s daughter who has meaningful dreams sometimes. And she tells Beckett that an Alexander will be extremely important to her, he will save her life one day. Beckett doesn’t know what to make of that as she doesn’t know any Alexander. Later in the episode, we find out that Castle’s middle name is Alexander. And that he changed his middle name to Edgar because of Edgar Allan Poe and his last name to Castle. His given name is actually Richard Alexander Rodgers. The final scene between Martha and Castle is really sweet. “Richard, whatever mistakes I’ve made in my life, I raised a good man.”
3x03 Under the Gun: Alexis wants a scooter and it’s so hilarious how concerned and worried Castle is. He goes to Beckett for advice but she only makes his worries worse (by saying that every girl has a wild phase and the good girls are actually the worst). It’s hilarious how Castle chases a guy and jumps over a taxi and he yells “I’ve always wanted to do that!”, his excited face is priceless. AND THEN THERE’S JASON BEGHE I CAN’T STOP SCREAMING. I had no idea he was on Castle, this is too great omg. “Royce?” “Hey, kid, long time.” He trained Beckett when she left the Academy. His hair is longer than on Chicago PD. And it’s kinda weird to see him in this mentor role with Beckett instead of Lindsay (the Beckett-Royce relationship is more romantic though). The episode aired in 2010, a couple years before Chicago PD started. He’s so smiley though, it’s hilarious. I’m having so much fun right now. Also, it’s hilarious when an old guy manages to escape from Ryan and Esposito. Of course, Castle and Beckett tease them so bad with it, Castle put adult diapers on their desk and old-people-teeth. Back to Jason Beghe - I love how his character is SO different than Voight, yet there’s just his characteristics he can’t shake off (like the head node he does when talking). Mike Royce, Hank Voight. Even their names are similar, both one syllable each, first ending with a k sound. In the end, Beckett has to arrest Royce and that scene is so tough oh boy. Also, Alexis realizes that it was wrong to just sell something in order to get the money for the scooter. There’s this adorable hug and Castle goes “I’m so proud of you.”. Aw. I loved the episode.
3x04 Punked: This is the first time we hear (and meet) about Ashley, Alexis’ first proper boyfriend. Throughout the entire episode, Castle is a bit upset that Alexis didn’t tell him about her boyfriend. The episode is super entertaining - Castle thinks the killer is a time traveler. Esposito is assaulted by some guy and hurts his neck real bad which is used as a joke throughout the entire episode. The scene in which Castle meets Ashley for the first time is hilarious. He surprises them with a gun and Ashley is freaked out while Alexis is like “what the fuck dad”. And Castle is all strict and Ashley is so intimidated, and then when Ashley leaves, he goes “I like him” and Alexis just punshes him lol. Alexis has such a crush on Ashley, it’s adorable. Later, he asks Castle how you know when you’re in love and she goes on and on and says how the songs and poems make sense and more stuff. And later, Castle asks Beckett the same question and she goes “All the songs make sense”. Beckett goes out with a certain Josh. The final scene with Alexis and Castle though, where Alexis wants to go on a date and Castle goes “yeah, of cours,e sure, have fun” and she says “I meant with you, dad. You’ll always be my go-to-guy.” Their relationship is so important to me. He loves her so much.
3x05 Anatomy of a Murder: We get several Grey’s Anatomy references when Castle nicknames someone “McDreamy” and another one “McSteamy”. Castle is jealous when Gina surprises Alexis with super special concert tickets that he had just bought for her as well (just not the super special version). And Gina says “Whenever it comes to Alexis, you build a wall around her. Like you don’t want anyone get close to her.” In a conversation with Martha, Martha says to Castle that you’d know real love if one was willing to get the other out of prison. At the end of the episode, Beckett says “Don’t worry, Castle, I’d get you out [of prison]”. Oh my God, I need to gif that parallel.
3x06 3XK: The 3XK-Storyline starts in this episode. Also, Alexis has a “secret admirer” and I still somewhat wish it hadn’t just been Ashley but somehow connected to the case to get some drama. At some point, Castle is also worried about this secret admirer and who it really is. “He’s charming, in an asexual, non-threatening kind of way.” Alexis gets another letter where she’s supposed to meat her secret admirer in a public park. And Castle kinda freaks and goes “you’re so not meeting that guy” because he’s worried about her safety - after all, the admirer referred to Alexis’ hair as ‘flaxen’ which is blond and could be a connection to the 3XK killer. There’s no connection, though, it’s just Ashley. The motel at the end with the pool looks awfully familiar, though. I’m pretty sure I saw that one on The Mentalist and Criminal Minds before.
3x08 Murder Most Fowl: The abduction of a child really gets to Castle. At some point, he shares the story about Alexis who, when she was four years old, disappeared in a mall. Castle and security had looked everywhere and he had pictured all the worst case scenarios. They found her under some coats taking a nap. Castle mentions that he still dreams about this. 3x10 Last Call: I love the ending, where they all sing “Piano Man” and walk out of the precinct together.
3x11 Nikki Heat: Ryan plans on proposing to Jenny, he pops the question at the end of the episode and of course she says yes. Laura Prepon alias Nathalie Rhodes alias Nikki Heat is in this one. Alexis sounds like Molly had a cold while filming this episode. There’s some adorable scenes where Alexis talks about movies that she’s not allowed to see yet (age restriction thing) and she goes “It’s a great movie. ... If I’d seen it, which I haven’t.” Beckett gets more and more annoyed by Nathalie as the episode progresses, it’s hilarious, she’s so jealous. Ryan references “the list” which apparently is a list of celebrities that you could sleep with if you had the chance but were in a relationship. I remember this list was also mentioned on Friends. “If it’s so adorable, why didn’t you sleep with me” ICONIC. Ah, I just really enjoyed this episode.
3x12 Poof, you’re dead: Another familiar face! Vanessa Lengies is in this one. And it’s the first time we’re seeing Lanie and Esposito TOGETHER. I mean, together together. They are trying to hide it, but of course everyone knows what’s going on. Also, Castle and Gina end their relationship at the end of the episode.
3x13 Knockdown: The storyline on Beckett’s mother’s murder continues. Castle and Beckett are at a restaurant talking to someone when that someone gets shot. When Castle goes back home later, Martha is so worried. Castle says “You’re overreacting, mother. Where is this coming from?” and she goes “How the hell can you ask me something like that. Think about how much you love Alexis and that is how much I love you and don’t you dare ask me where this is coming from”. Beckett and Castle KISS. It’s just to distract someone but “that was amazing”, as Castle puts it (the way she took down the guy of course). And Castle goes “Always” when Beckett thanks him for saving her life. If I’m not completely wrong, it’s the first episode without Alexis in it :( It feels like we’re at that point now where Castle’s domestic life isn’t as fundamental to the show as it was in seasons one and two.
3x14 Lucky Stiff: Ryan tells Esposito that they all know about him and Lanie. Martha inherits 1,000,000$ from Chet’s death but she doesn’t feel comfortable with getting all the money since she had planned on breaking up with him before he died. She doesn’t know what to do and talks to Beckett, and ends up opening “The Martha Rodgers School of Acting”. Also, can I just say how ridiculously good Beckett and Castle look in this season (so far)? I mean, sure, they both are good looking people. But Beckett looks so pretty and her hair is gorgeous. And Castle looks exactly like if you merged season1Castle and season7castle. His face is smoother, like it was in the early seasons, but his hair is more like in the later seasons. I can’t describe it properly but I like it.
3x15 The Final Nail: “Mom and Dad are fighting”. The case is really personal to Castle because the victim’s husband is a guy he met in boarding school who published his writing and told him he had talent. The guy that pushed him to become a writer. Alexis’ valentine’s day gift for Ashley is perfect. A photo of Ash’s rat Theodore in a frame that says “true love”. As Castle describes it “heart-felt, yet humorous”. Also, Alicia Coppola is in this episode (I know her as Faith Coleman in NCIS).
3x16 Setup: I love how dramatic and serious the beginning is and you don’t know what’s going on - and then “36 hours earlier”. There’s an adorable scene at the Castle residence where Martha wants to take Alexis on a spiritual retreat but she doesn’t want to, so she mouths something to Castle, so that he’ll tell her not to go. And Castle says “Phys..physi..physics! Physics exam! Don’t you have a Physics exam on Monday?” and afterwards “Best dad ever”. It’s so cute. Later, though, he sends Alexis with Martha because there’s a possible nuclear threat and he wants them safe <3. His face when he tells her to go, though. The episode ends with Becktt and Castle trapped in that ice truck thing. Cliffhanger!
3x17 Countdown: If I’m not totally mistaken, this is the first episode-adjusted-titlecard. WIth the title card all icy and blue. They found Castle and Beckett just in time because Alexis (who returned with Martha earlier than planned because she was so anxious about her exam) called Ryan, asking about Castle because he wasn’t at home. Castle returns home where Martha and Alexis were already waiting for him and he tells them to go to the Hamptons. It’s so intense, he just wants them safe. These two episodes are full of Caskett moments that make you go “how does it take you guys 1.5 more seasons to get your acts together”. I was just missing a Castle/Alexis/Martha reunion at the end.
3x18 One Life to Lose: Beckett is such a shipper and such a fangirl of “Temptation Lane” lol. Also, THERE’S DAVID EIGENBERG. He looks so different than Christopher Herrmann though :’) But good to see him :)
3x19 Law & Murder: Castle knows that Alexis is lying about her plans because of the way her nose crinkles. How adorable is this. Not so adorable, though, is Castle’s behavior to figure out what Alexis is doing: he tracks her phone. Later, Alexis figures out Castle is lying to her because of that nose thing. “You have the best kid in the world” aww. Later, Alexis tells Castle why she was in that neighborhood she wasn’t supposed to be in. Some friends of her where shoplifting and they pressured her to do it as well, but she didn’t and late felt guilty about the stolen stuff, so she went back to pay for it. Castle is like “why are you friends with them anyway” “it’s not that simple” aww bb :(
3x20 Slice of Death: “Every inch of my body is telling me to protect her” <3 Alexis is upset because her best friend is acting weird. It’s so adorable how worried Castle is. God I just love their relationship. “...and then one day, one of you ends up in a pizza oven” lol Castle, good comparison. “Did you kick her ass?” “kinda did” “Good girl” <3 the ending is also super cute when Castle drove all the way across the bridge to get THE pizza for him and Alexis.
3x22 To Love and Die in LA: IT’S HANK VOIGHT AGAIN. I mean.. Mike Royce. I just love how similiar those two names are. And then his real name Jason Beghe.. so different. Noooo he’s dead :( Castle and Beckett travel to LA. Lanie and Esposito kiss on-screen for the first time. AAAAH OMG THAT’S BEN WARRAN GROM GREY’S. “I’m still amazed by the depth of your strength, your heart.” “You’re not so bad yourself, Castle”. And then there’s this silence where they just look at each other and you’re screaming “NOW KISS”. “Come and find me” plays and these idiots still don’t get it right. There’s also the scene where Beckett gets out of the pool and she just looks smoking hot. I swear, if I only looked half as good, I’d take selfies non stop and feel so good about myself omg. THe ending is really emotional. Of course they catch Royce’s killer. On the plane back to New York, Beckett reads a letter from Royce where basically he tells her to just go for it and admit to the feelings she has for Castle. And there’s “Just Breathe” playing which makes it even more beautiful.
3x23 Pretty Dead: Alexis is heartbroken because her boyfriend Ashley wants to study at Stanford. Then, Ashley decides to stay in New York but Alexis feels guilty for standing in his way, so she breaks up with him, so that he’ll make his own choice. He decides to go to Stanford but lets Alexis know (through Castle lol he actually went to the precinct) that he thinks long-distance could work. Bellamy Young is in that episode, hi Beth :) We meet Montgomery’s wife and he also announces he’s gonna retire in a year but Beckett says that he always says that, so it’s all good. In the end, Alexis decides to apply to Stanford for early admission and lol Castle’s reaction is too hilarious, I’M pissing myself. He’s literally just saying “what” four times and his face oh my God I couldn’t describe it properly. It’s... hilarious.
3x24 Knockout: I don’t really know what to say about the episode. It’s such a thrill, such a ride, so emotional. And then you see Montgomery’s wife crying with her two children next to her and you think the episode is over and then boom, Beckett is shot. Gonna get started on season 4 later today and I’ll publish that season 4 post when I’m done with that season, like I did with season 3.
