"Scorpius?"

Albus' sleepy voice calling out to him is about the only thing in the world that could year Scorpius' attention away from his book right now. He looks up and smiles at his boyfriend, who's stood rubbing at his eyes.

"Hey... Sorry, I know it's late. I'll come to bed once I finish this chapter."

Albus quirks an eyebrow at that. "Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, that's a lie and you damn well know it."

Scorpius huffs out a laugh but he can't disagree. He doesn't really have an off-switch when it comes to studying, especially not with N.E.W.T.S around the corner.

"I'll help you study." Albus says, ignoring Scorpius' protests that he should go back to bed and plonking himself down on the sofa.

Not more than two minutes past before Albus has slumped over sideways, fast asleep and clinging Scorpius' leg.

Scorpius smiles fondly down at him before turning back to his book. He doesn't mind, as long as Albus is nearby, he's as content as can be.
