Long before it all began

You and Matt have been inseparable ever since you guys met each other in middle school. You guys met in 6th period math. Matt made a joke about how he hated when math teachers would ask students to show their work. Then you said the math teachers should “show these nuts in their mouths”. Ever since then you guys have been attached to the hip. As you too got older, both of you started noticing each other in ways you two never imagined were possible. Compliments that went over both of your heads. Hugs that lasted for more than it should have. Lingering touches that had your breath hitch. Eye contact that turned into full blown admiration of each other’s features. Late night thoughts of how it would feel to be skin to skin, exploring the depths of each other’s bodies, whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ear. Eventually Chris and Nick became so fed up by You and Matt’s inability to confess to each other so they took matters into their own hands, confessing you and Matt’s true feelings for one another. You and Matt have been dating for a year now. When you guys started dating it was amazing, the dates, the late night calls, the sex. Everything was perfect, until it wasn’t.

Still can't give it up

Lately there’s been consistent arguing. Either Matt caught an attitude with you for asking him why he hasn’t been answering your calls or You giving Matt the silent treatment because he was acting like an insensitive asshole. This has been going on for the past couple of months. Yet you two couldn’t stomach to break up. Tied around each other’s fingers, you both let this continue. Not caring how long you haven’t talked to each other or how mad you made each other everyday. You too were crazy about each other .

You and Matt were currently arguing. You had asked Matt were he went and why he didn’t answer your calls, in which he answered with a “don’t worry about were I go” which then you responded with a “I have to worry you’re my boyfriend” then he responded with a scoff followed by a “I should’ve never spoke in that math class”. Both of you were shocked by what came out the blue eyed boy’s mouth. Matt instantly regretted what he said, despite the months of arguing. “Y/n, babe I didn’t mean it” Matt said with guilt, walking towards you. Tears started rolling down your face and your lip quivered. You walked up to Matt, slapping him in the face before walking back to your shared room passing both Nick and Chris on the way.

“What the fuck happened Matt” Nick said whisper yelling. “Yea I’ve never seen Y/n so upset well, more upset than usual” Chris said concerned. “We got in another argument, but I said some shit that I shouldn’t have said” Matt said guilty, sliding both his hands down his face. “Well what did you say” Chris asked. “I told her that I should’ve never spoke in math class” Matt said running his hand through his hair stressed.

“Matt what the fuck is wrong with you, you actually suck for that shit” Nick said yelling. “Wow you are kind of an asshole for that shit I’m surprised she didn’t slap you”. Chris said disappointed. “She did” Matt said looking at Chris with glossy eyes. “Yea I would too for that shit, maybe even punch you in the face” Nick said in disbelief. “Or maybe the nuts” Chris added. “Ok ok I get it I screwed up” Matt says yelling, tears running down his face as he walks towards the sofa to sit. “No you didn’t just screw up, you actually just fucked up the relationship with the girl who loved you more than anything Matt” Nick says sternly. “Ok instead of pointing out the obvious Nick help me out what should I do” Matt asked stressfully, wiping the tears from his face. “Me and Chris can’t help you Matt, you fucked up on your own so you’re gonna fix it on your own.” Nick said sternly, pointing at Matt. Matt was totally fucked.

As this poll progressed, it became apparent that NSFW content was going to win. However, mood boards/texts fanfics are ~low effort (comparatively) for me to create, so I considered hosting a dual-themed event for ppl who voted for a mood board/texts fanfic option...

Another major reason I considered a dual-themed event is bc 2k felt like a huge milestone, so I figured — why not celebrately hugely ?! 🤭😍

The caveat? Only ppl who originally voted for a mood board/texts fanfic option would be able to request them. Why? Most ppl voted for NSFW content (NSFW Alphabets or Threesomes), so most ppl were guaranteed either what they wanted, or close to what they wanted. I asked for opinions—I didn’t want anyone to feel that this was unfair of me to spontaneously offer—but I received precisely 1 response 😅 (in support of hosting a dual-themed event).

Ahahah, it's funny when sometimes Scorpio risings look like a stereotypical Scorpio risings.

I was looking at Jacoby Shaddix's chart (from Papa Roach, you know, oldschool alt kids will know) and I always look at astrotheme for timed celebrity charts and I was a bit sad his chart was untimed (tho expected this). He has a Leo stellium but I could swear he has to have Scorpio in his chart. So I was thinking and then though about the lyric in one of their songs "compassion's in my nature" so I though, ok, must be a water sign (also his lyrics are often very over-the-top-emotional and brooding and melodramatic and I feel like Leo + water screams melodrama; but with Pisces the Leo stuff would be in the 6th and I didn't feel Cancer as much so my bet was Scorpio).

Now, I looked at astro-seek and they have it timed with a link to a youtube video where he says his exact time of birth and he is a Scorpio rising indeed (!!!)

Now what I'm trying to say it, yes, looks can tell you something about the rising sign BUT I always pay attention to how the person talks about themselves.

Like one time I was watching an interview with Elizabeth Olsen and she was saying that she doesn't watch her own movies because she analyzes her performance too much after the fact. Like, literally, she's a Virgo rising. And she underlines how she analyzes herself. That's too on the nose.

But you gotta learn how to pick up these things, I just have a habit of having people's charts in the back of my head (and just astrology in general, whatever happens, current transits instantly pop into my head). Also, it works for other placements as well, obvi, not just ascendants.

Also, side note, it's helpful to look at astro.com's and astro-seek's data for celebrity charts because not only sometimes they have timed charts when astrotheme doesn't but also they will often link sources or quotes (unlike astrotheme, which is annoying, they only give the rodden ratings).

2012 Australian GP

Alriiiight 2012 here we go!

Disclaimer for this season. It turns out that I only have the footage of the race for a lot of the GPs (no build-up, no post-race content) so there will be way less GIFs unfortunately. I will let you know for each of these reviews if there are GIFs or not. THIS ONE HAS GIFS.

Let’s start by reviewing the changes from 2011.

Lotus became Caterham

Renault became Lotus (? honestly wtf)

Virgin became Marussia

Williams switched back to Renault engines

At Lotus (so Renault, right?), Petrov and Senna were replaced by Raikkonen and Grosjean

Petrov eventually replaced Trulli at Caterham (so Lotus, yeah?) and Senna went to Williams as Barrichello retired

Hulkenberg rejoined Force India with Di Resta as Sutil left the team and OMG. Sutil was later sued for “grievous bodily harm” for assaulting a Renault team member with a glass in a Chinese club after the GP in 2011

Toro Rosso got rid of Alguersuari and Buemi who were replaced by Ricciardo and JEV

De la Rosa and Karthikeyan rejoined F1 at HRT

On the regulations side :

The whole exhaust gas/diffuser/downforce thing that created much controversy in 2011 was settled with a complete ban of the practice

Minor changes to nose height and stuff like that

No more joker gearbox change : until then it was possible to change the gearbox once without penalty during the season, but they changed it to them being allowed to change the gearbox only once every 5 races

Use of helium in air guns for the pit stops was banned : it made the process quicker but it was too expensive for the gains

Pirelli ameliorated their tyres

Reintroduction of the rule stating lapped cars can unlap themselves under Safety Car before the restart (🥲)

Introduction of the 4-hour race rule after the 2011 Canadian GP lasting a historical record of 04h04mn39s

Deactivation of the DRS under yellow flags following incidents during the season

Now onto the race.

It's a Mclaren front row! Yesss. Seb is only 6th? Webber 5th. Schumacher 4th. GROSJEAN IS 3RD WHAT. It's Lewis on pole 💜.

Formation lap

Nicole is there with Lewis' mom. Remember that at the end of last season Lewis talked about not having his loved ones around like Jenson did and how it affected him (and also he was single back then but hey).

And they're racing!

The two Mclarens are wheel to wheel into turn one but Jenson takes the lead! Three cars went wide and the back and someone spun. Behind Lewis is Schumacher then Rosberg who overtook Seb and Grosjean slid back into 6th. And Seb overtakes Nico for 5th again. Maldonado makes contact with Grosjean who ends up in the gravel. DNF.

Hulkenberg also had to retire and Maldonado just went through the gravel himself. Seb is closing on Schumacher. Oooh he missed a corner and went through the grass. And Nico attacks him! And Alonso is attacking nico! A couple of laps later Seb has pulled away a bit and Alonso is on Rosberg's back but he also goes wide slightly.

Oh and this time it's the other way around, Schumacher went wide and Seb is ahead. He might be having problems. He's slowed a lot. Rosberg is up in fourth now but maybe not for long as Alonso is exactly 0.3 seconds behind him. Ahead are still Jenson and Lewis with a 3.3 second gap between them and a 10 seconds gap to Seb now in 3rd, then. But Seb very quickly starts to close that gap.

15 laps in there's been a number of pit stops in the midfield and at the back already. Oh it’s weird to see VER in the graphics it took me a long time to understand who that was. But it's Vergne obvi.

Seb has already reduced the gap to Lewis to 6.5 seconds. Jenson pits from the lead. Redbull responds with Seb who goes out just in front of Alonso who's already pitted. That might be interesting. Now the only two who haven't pitted in the top 10 are Lewis and Raikkonen, who's currently third. Lewis comes in. Aww so of course Jenson is ahead. Raikkonen is also ahead by very little but he's gonna pit anyway. However, more problematic is Lewis is now behind Perez. Somehow.

There's a queue behind Vergne's Toro Rosso and it’s a problem. But Alonso passed him and it won't be long until Rosberg and Webber do too. Lewis is only 0.5 seconds behind Perez, he must be able to overtake him, come on. Ahhh of course Perez hasn't pitted yet either. It doesn't change the fact that Lewis needs to overtake him to catch up on Jenson who's already 10 seconds ahead. Finally Lewis overtakes him! Seb is right there though omg. Seb also overtakes Perez.

So Jenson is still in the lead, Lewis +11s., Seb +1.8s. Eesh.

Alonso preying on Perez now. He keeps these big names at bay pretty well I will say. But here it goes, Alonso is ahead. And Rosberg is through too. It's Webber's turn. Meanwhile Lewis is losing time on Jenson while Seb is gaining on him. Jenson says he's picked up some rubber so there's vibration but he didn't lock up. It slows him down very slightly. Okay okay now Lewis is doing it, he's getting closer to Jenson and away from Seb, great job!

Halfway through while there's stuff I don't really care about going on in the midfield, Lewis is 9.5s. behind Jenson while Seb is 2.3s. behind him.

Oh ho, there's a Toro Rosso going through sand in bad shape but we're back on Webber trying to overtake Rosberg. Well he pits anyway.

Now Lewis is losing on Jenson again as Seb is closing on him. I zoned out for a few laps ngl. Jenson pits from the lead. And Lewis also! Great job from the mechanics. In the meantime Petrov has stopped on the main straight. Safety Car. Seb pits and is out, unfortunately ahead of Lewis. Webber and Maldonado who also pitted are now behind him though.

Okay so as I said before, 2012 is the year they implemented the lapped cars can overtake under safety car rule. And they're doing it now. Of course it's a problem at the moment because they're not used to it so the cars are weaving while being overtaken by the lapped cars and it's dangerous. Brundle doesn't like this rule, he thinks the leaders being as good as they are the should have to get through backmarkers and showcase what they can do. It's part of being a racing driver or whatever. Ted says contrary to what Brundle is saying Charlie told him it would only take one supplementary lap to do anyway. Ah, Kovalainen DNF. Safety Car in...

And here we go, good restart from Jenson. Lewis is chasing Seb. Jenson is already taking off. DRS for Lewis... It's on. Senna and Massa touched, they both have a puncture. Well Lewis is not overtaking Seb. I'm a bit perplexed by his driving this race. Is the car not good enough even though Jenson is comfortably ahead or is he just not fighting very hard?

Oop, Maldonado hit the wall in the last lap.

And it's the end of the race.

So Jenson, Seb, Lewis.

It's good because it seems the McLarens' pace is better this year but we'll see what Lewis' mindset is this time around, I'm not convinced by his attitude yet.

He seems mildly enthusiastic at best on the podium lol

Lewis starts the press conference by congratulating Jenson and the team. It was a bit of a tough day but there's plenty of races ahead he'll just keep his head down. It's still a positive for the team, they have good pace.

Later on, Mackenzie says we all know that nothing less than a win satisfies him. It was obviously a rough race, he says, but again congratulations to Jenson, it would have been good to get a 1-2 but it wasn't the day for him.

Why? He really doesn't know. He just struggled out there and had a bad start. He'll refocus, there's plenty of opportunities ahead and the championship is about consistency so that's what they're focused on. Mackenzie asks what confidence he can take in the fact that he got pole and a podium this weekend which by anyone's standard is pretty good. "It's okay" he smiles.

"It’s pretty poor standards compared to... Someone's else..." and he makes a head movement in Jenson's direction.

He's always so hard on himself.

18. ROMANIA Ester Peony  - “On a sunday” SemiFinal 2, #06

~Oi see da smøk rrrrrrrois freummmm deeeee eshhhhdrrrrreyyyyy ~

ENTRY ANALYSIS

You can forgive me for posting the NF version here, but “On a sunday” is one of those songs which comes alive ONLY during the live performance. I just love how she sllllllllrs her wrrrrrrds; See above. It’s funny to me that Ester, who is Canadian, has such questionable English diction but then I remember she’s from the FRENCH-speaking part of Canada 😍😂

Anyway, “On a sunday” is an interesting song to me for many reasons. A of all, it’s probably the closest thing we had to a genuine shock NF winner in this season, which is always exciting. B of all, um hello it’s a dark, vindictive gothic powerballad and I’m only gay, after all. 

Personally I quite love the theme Romania are going for: I can definitely get ~Bride of Dracula~ vibes and you can FEEL the overwhelming anger and pain and thirst for revenge in Ester’s voice, which I think are very powerful attributes. Having said that though, the song itself is sorta weak lol. I mean, it has potential, which is already capitalizes with its Mrs. Havisham-themed styling, (there’s a reason it won Selectia Nationala and that’s because it GLEW UP), but “On a sunday” gives me less in terms of actual replay value and fun factor. It’s a curious entry and my interest is piqued but as if yet not fully retained.

Time for the longest part of the write up because of all the shit I need to address here. 🙄

Well FIRST of all, I will NOT be addressing Laura Bretan because i don’t give a fuck about “Dear Father” and never have.  Yes, she’s probably not gay-friendly, but I don’t give a care, honestly. I care about entertainment value and “Dear Father” was a BORING FUCKING SLOG to get throug. I’m happy it lost to something which i actually cared about. :-)

Who will I address? Let’s start with my faves. Nearly everyone favourited either Laura or Bella, but not I. I loved Trooper with their exquisite pirate rock:

Lol this almost literally sounds like “Yo Ho A Pirate’s Life For Me!” but I Adorez It anyway <3 It’s so cheesy and gimmicky but I enjoyed it and YOU WOULD HAVE TOO, DON’T LIE. 🍺

And of course there’s also Bella Santiago, half-Philippina, half-Romanian biracial butterfly 🦋

AN ARMY TO FIIIIIGHT FOR LOOOOOOOOVE!!!!!! Adding some lines in Tagalog <3 Everyone compares it to “Fuego” but this sounds way more like a mashup of “My Number One” and “The Balkan Girls” to me? I”Army of Love” is a fun-dispenser from start to finish. She should have won (literally. She was TVR’s chosen one.)

Sigh, I suppose this is where I also address the meltdowns after Ester won? Oh man, I don’t want to fucking address ... all of this, but the jist of it is this:

Laura Bretan was, as stated previously, boring and was rigged out because of it. Emmelie de Forest then ruined Bella with her TerribleDanishTaste™. The Laura Fans blamed, in increasing order of severity: TVR, Ester and “The Evil Wiwibloggs Gays” and even tried to get Ester DQ’d because the result wasn’t what *they*, fewer than 4000 people in a country of seven million, wanted. 🙄

(the funniest/saddest comment I ever read on the debacle and perhaps the entire internet period calls out William and Deban as -wait for it- ‘HOMOPHOBICPHOBICS’ lmfao how even. How dare those evil homos be phobic towards those poor homophobes!!!! #StopHomophobicphobiaNow #JeSuisBretan). 

(and if anyone had any doubts Laura actually did make a public statement saying she still supports the message of the anti-lgbt marriage vid she appeared in 🙃)

Shit got SO BAD Ester refused to appear on public television for WEEKS, afraid of being badmouthed and attacked. Poor woman. Vile, toxic BULLYING by Wild Jokahs On A Gold Throne is NEVER the answer. Remind me to quote this when we get to Italy, a bit later in this ranking.

Qualification Odds: Borderline (+)

Obviously, after the entire ordeal she had to ensure I ABSOLUTELY WANT Ester in the finale even if she’s barely in my own top 10 for said SF. I don’t dislike Laura, but I do hate her fans and every instance which proves them wrong counts as a moral victory against cyberbullying to me :-)

I wish I could say with confidence that she qualifies though, but the reality of the matter is that Ester is Borderline at best. Romania’s best chance is if they go ALL OUT on the ~Gothic Vampire Queen~ idea they’re currently preparing and make it dramatic, powerful and visually enthralling (without taking themselves too seriously, obvi). If they manage that or similar, they should pull of qualification or at least come very close without embarrassing themselves. 

Projected Placement: 6th-12th in the SemiFinal. If she qualifies, 12th-20th in the Grand Final.

Hey Tumblerooni’s!  Wanted to pass along some fun Wednesday tidbits.

(yes, these are from the world of politics, but no, there is nothing in here about the current nonsense in the White House. Besides, it’s good to stay up to snuff on this stuff)

One week ago, Idaho Dems nominated the 3rd love of my life, Paulette Jordan, to run for governor of this great state. A few things on this:

1- my wife is the first love of my life (obvi)

2- she knows how I feel about Paulette and she's totally ok with it (she feels similarly)

3- the 2nd love of my life is currently California Senator Kamala Harris. I recommend you Google her if you not familiar with her. She could be ... important? ... in a couple years. (there's a fun segment of her on Ellen's show from a couple months back)

4- Paulette is a member of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe and according to my research, if she wins in November (long shot) she would be the first Native American governor of any state outside of Hawaii.

I tell you all this mainly as a prelude to news from yesterday's elections in Kentucky, Georgia and Texas...

 The winner of the Democratic primary election for Governor in Texas was a former county sheriff named Lupe Valdez. Her victory makes her the first Latina AND first openly gay person nominated for governor by either party in the state's history. (and yes, she is the daughter of migrant workers)

In Georgia, the winner of the Democratic primary was a lawyer named Stacey Abrams. She officially becomes the first Black woman nominated for governor by either major party in the history of the United States.

In Kentucky, there was a Democratic primary to select their nominee for US Congress (6th district). The winner is a former Marine Corps pilot named Amy McGrath. She is the first female marine to fly an F-18 in combat. As you can already tell, she pretty much all around kicks friggin you-know-what.

I understand this is not applicable for some of you, but if you're a little more juiced up by testosterone and a Y-chromosome like me, you might even throw out a fist pump and a "F*ck yeah, 'merica!"

McGrath's election yesterday was interesting because she had a strong primary challenge from a well-known, well-funded Democrat. Plus, during the campaign this dude tried to use against her the fact that she "hasn't lived here" for twenty years. Her response to this was essentially, "You're right. I was flying fighter jets during that time."

Now in his defense, he was just prepping her for the November elections in which the republicans are going to hammer the "she hasn't lived here!" narrative over and over again. And personally, I can't wait for her to deliver the "I was in combat, dumbass" right back at them.

So to recap: Idaho: Native American woman nominee for governor Texas: openly gay Latina nominee for governor Georgia: first ever Black woman nominee for governor Kentucky: trailblazing Marine Corps nominee for US Congress.

As a final note, if any cranky white guy tries to tell you that the Democrats hate cranky white guys now, you can debunk this nonsense immediately with 8 words. Here they are:

1. Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is. I am single at the moment, and i actually really love it. I like having time for me and my friends and not having to worry about a guy. I like having crushes on guys and not having to be like “uh oh i like this other guy a little whoops” maybe i just had a horrible demonic presence as a bf but idk lol.

3. Your views on drugs and alcohol.  i used to be a total stick in the ass (is that an expression) about drugs and alcohol, but now idc. I smoke weed socially and drink all the time. But like it opens your mind to other things, like i feel so much more comfortable with myself. I feel like i can talk freely about anything to anyone.

4. Your views on religion.  since my dad died i haven’t been very religious, even before then we never went to church. It was just always a thing, like God is there. and I’m not blaming my beliefs on the fact that my dad died, i know it has no real correlation. religion has never played a huge role in my life, and when my dad died i feel like any of what i had got thrown out the window, i started making bad decisions and coped in all the wrong ways, but I’ve made it through that. I really don’t know what i believe in, but i will never push anyones beliefs away, I’m open to them, if that makes any bit of sense.

5.  A time you thought about ending your own life. theres actually been quite a few times, mostly in my past. its funny i used to think i wanted to kill myself because my dad died, but now i realize it was what happened after that that made me feel that way. i mean i was already suffering from depression and then this kid keeps telling you “everyone dies, death is okay its okay to want to kill yourself or hurt yourself” and then manipulate me into doing promiscuous things in school (MIDDLE FUCKING SCHOOL) and make you give up the music you love because “you love them more than me, go suck his dick” (hmmm gladly) oh not to forget, calls you a slut and a whore for having a normal connection with a teacher, (mind you in front of said teacher). so yeah all those things drove me to want to kill myself, But recently any of the times I’ve felt that way, its been resolved rather quickly because now i have music in my life again, and music calms me more than anything.

A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life probably when i went to milwaukee, i did it alone, i paid for everything i went on a plane for the first time went to a hotel went in an uber lol all by myself. i really truly felt so amazing there, like nothing was stopping me and like if i can do this i can some day live in california on my own. its definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life, not to mention, doing it all to see my favorite band from the fucking third row.

My training schedule is so fucked though for the next 30 days basically:

Today - Thursday: 9am to 6pm Friday - Next Friday: 8am to 5pm The following Monday onward, assumedly: 10am to 7pm When training is over: 11am to 8pm, most likely

I think it’s because the next three days are in a training room that opens at 9, then after that we go to another training room for particular training on the main program we’ll be using. Then that following monday, I’ll be following my mentor’s schedule and learning more directly from her and doing hands on OJT type stuff.

And then, I get assigned my team on June 1st or After Memorial day/June 6th?

But, I think the best part of this is we have like, three different levels of teams and shows as a pyramid

There’s the first level, the bottom of the pyramid, which deals with low revenue companies that aren’t huge spenders-- like local small businesses that are buying for their own office use or minimal resale, and one team will maybe deal with 100 of those accounts. The next level, the second level of the pyramid, is medium sized businesses, that will spend a higher amount of money on product to resell, or use a lot of tech in their business. A team will maybe have 20 or 30 of those accounts. 

Then there’s nationals, which a team on that level will most likely have one account to work on. Because it’s most likely that one account could blow $4million in one day. Like a big box retailer. It’s basically the most simple because it’s only one account to remember the information for and not have to reference... But it’s also the most difficult because they could literally spend a couple million dollars in tech and you have to make sure it’s all correct and priced right.

And guess which level I got put on? Yup, Nationals with two other people who are really cool. I kind of hope and also don’t hope that it’s Best Buy because I spend way too much money there and this will not bode well for me.

Bonus: I have a temp desk until the end of the month. But my temp desk got placed right next to my leaders (my ‘current’ manager and the head trainer), because the desks near to my mentor were taken because there was a brief shortage of cubicles. My mentor is on the other side of the building on the same floor, but she said ‘I have a laptop, so I’ll just go where you go.’

And the two others in the nationals group will be sitting with me. It’s great, because the other girl is named Leslie and I’m obvi Lindsay and our mentor was just like ‘Okay, I’ll try to keep your names straight’ and Leslie was like ‘I honestly answer to Lindsay because it happens a lot’ and I went ‘Same. It’s either Leslie, Lizzie or Wendy.’ and our mentor just went ‘Oh sweet Jesus. Okay. Lindsay is an Amazon, Leslie is little.’ and then points to the guy in our group and goes ‘And Sean is Sean.’ Our mentor showed us her desk and it’s just super girly and cute with little motivational things and pastels and she sits right next to a person that has probably 50 funkos arranged around his desk and nerdy stuff everywhere.
