The library's air conditioning is up and running! It'll take a while before the building completely cools off, but now it's only 82 in here (as opposed to 90 previously), and I can feel the cool air, and that's encouraging.

Where did you find out that Fahrenheit/Celsius was a thing, and there were parts of the world that used a whole different temperature scale to you?

For me I believe it was a smosh video or something where they were recording late at night and said something along the lines of ‘it’s funny because I live in ‘hot area’ it’s like 90° but I feel cold’ and I did a double take like ‘90°??? WHAAAT’ and for a brief second thought that A COLD NIGHT IN AMERICA WAS 90 DEGREES CELSIUS

A quick google search later and I found out that they used a different temperature scale to us, and was very confused by it.

Years later and Fahrenheit still baffles me, as does all imperial units.

I could rip the handcuff models off the Strive Sol 3D model and print it and put them on my red jacket #The 'hard' part then would be fabricating the leather straps that hold them on but that'll be easy #Basically the Outrage is by far the hardest part of a Strive Sol cosplay #If I have that I'm 90% of the way there and with a 3D printer I can do damn near anything lol #Who needs EVA foam and Warbla when I can materialize parts with corn goo heated to over 500 degree Fahrenheit #Actually back up for a sec. ours are about 3 ish ?? months long — the summer semesters are a bit rushed like the assignments and tests are a lot less spread apart as opposed to a fall or spring semester would be since those are longer. but they’re usually also a bit more lenient with grading and stuff (at least in my experience) and it’s nice to get ahead on classes !! only downside is that they’re expensive 🥹
