Hello hi it is done, I think I managed to make Tails blue and it's not the most cursed thing to graze one's eyeballs
(for Tails' funky colors and a save for my sanity of figuring out how I want him to look cool, thank to @niyana-the-ambiguous-mobian and their epik idea of Tails possibly resembling a nebula while sonic is a shooting star)

I have a pretty shoddy memory and I’m not about to fine-tooth comb seasons 4 and 11 to find hardcore evidence for any of this, but I feel like you could draw a connection between aspheera and clouse’s “sorcery/dark magic” stuff somehow. It makes certain things connect and bit more and make a bit more sense, at least to me.
Like, the magic stuff in season 4 definitely comes out of nowhere. We already have elemental powers, but apparently “magic” is a thing? Different magic than the stuff we’re already used to?? Feels kinda out of place. And apparently one of the spells Clouse can do just so happens to turn people into Anacondrai—well that’s just totally random, the writers are just making shit up at this point. If this kind of magic existed, we would have seen it by now.
Except we wouldn’t have, because the ones who created and practiced that magic were nearly wiped out before the events of the show even started—the serpentine.
When season 11 comes along, we learn about Aspheera, and about how a suuuuper long time ago, back when ninjago was practically brand new, there was such a thing as a serpentine “sorcerer,” who served at the side of the king. Obviously things have changed since ancient times, and that stuff doesn’t really exist anymore. It might make sense for Chen to be into that sort of thing; he was a huge weeb for snakes after all. He might’ve encouraged Clouse to study ancient serpentine magic stuff in order to feed his inner snake-weeb. (I don’t remember if we ever got a real explanation for why Clouse was into the magic stuff umm. Just feel free to correct me if any of this sounds dumb idk!!)
I just think it’s interesting how a possible reason we never heard of the sorcery stuff before season 4 is because it’s been a couple thousand years since it was prevalent and also in part because of. Y’know. Serpentine war.
(Also I wasn’t like, super hardcore paying attention during season 11, so I’m just tacking this onto the end here: were the serpentine all united in Aspheera’s time? Did the 5 tribes thing come later, like they split up somehow?? Is that how it worked???? Cuz if so, that could lead to some cool lore implications— like, they started with one type of sorcery, but then when the tribes split up, different “subsets” and “specializations” started popping up. Maybe Clouse doesn’t just practice serpentine sorcery, but specializes in Anacondrai sorcery…. or smthn)

Thoughts on SophiexBiana?
I think sophiana is cute, and I have touched on them before, but not very in depth.
The main thing that comes to mind when thinking of the two of them is how frequently Biana is trying to push Sophie out of her comfort zone, make up or clothing wise. She's wanting to help shape Sophie into what she thinks her best self is, to get past her insecurity and negative self-talk, and for Biana that involves a kind of empowered femininity Sophie doesn't really sync with. But! The core issue--Sophie's self-conscious doubting--is a correct observation! Biana's heart is in the right place even if the execution doesn't help how she intends. And this could be taken further to have Biana help Sophie overcome her confidence issues, while learning herself that self-satisfaction and confidence doesn't need to come for others from the places she gets it. Sophie doesn't like drawing attention to herself and is self-conscious, but those don't have to be linked. She doesn't have to like drawing attention to be confident
From Sophie's side, there's a sweet adoration for Biana. She's constantly complimenting and in awe of her in a million subtle ways whenever Biana's present or doing anything. So there's a foundation of appreciation that would serve their relationship well--provided alongside that learning self confidence thing, she doesn't use it to simultaneously degrade herself.
We can also factor in how Biana is practically at the top of the elven world as a Vacker. And Sophie is practically the opposite of the core tenets of elfhood, coming from humans, ingrained with human beliefs and values, challenging what it means to be an elf and challenging that hierarchy Biana's at the top of, wielding diffrent kinds of social power. They're two girls from different worlds and finding that common ground is quite the interesting (and familiar) premise.
And with that original hostility you can get a story of growth influenced directly by and because of the other, Biana getting off her high horse (not a perfect phrase for her situation, but close enough) and becoming more realistic. Sophie learning not to trust rumors and understanding she needs to look past the facade before she can trust what she sees.
Point is: I think they could have a sweet, adoring love story of overcoming differences. It's not my favorite ship in the entire world, but I don't mind them :)

I am incredibly attached to fantasy/magic/supernatural AU’s tbh. It’s been so long since I’ve read a good supernatural-y fic and I miss it.
Vampire England is a classic choice and I love it tbh, it fits him so wellll. Though I also love him having magic (and unless it’s a world where magic is apart of a vampire powers, then I don’t really think they should have it… lol I think about this too much- I like the idea of him being a mage or something before he got turned and he’s still upset about it.)
Prussia’s such a mixed bag though. I’ve read fics were he’s a vampire, werewolf, zombie ect, and honestly they all work for him lowkey. (I kinda fuck with him being some kind of monster hunter though, or he was one before he was turned into something else. And I like the idea of him being a very bloodthirsty hunter but finding baby werewolf Germany and doing a 180. I also thjnk that he’d especially hate being a vampire though, I don’t think he’d fuck with being unable to go outside because the sun is out- the sun can’t tell him what to do.)
And America is a werewolf. I don’t make the rules, it’s great for him. Though I genuinely would not turn down any portrayal tbh. (I remember reading one multichapter fic where he was a vampire which I think was interesting? Though I also remember the more I read it, the more insane the plot got lmao. I can’t remember how much I enjoyed it by the end, but I remember it so 🤷♀️ I’ve read a fair chunk of vampire America usuk fics to be honest. Idk if I can remember any specific werewolf ones, I remember a one shot but I think that’s it… werewolf fics tend to just be smut if I’m remembering right- but it’s been a while man idk. I also like him having magic lowkey, but less in the controlled, knows magic theories type way and more in the he’s got a natural talent for it. Man that fic where Alfred became Arthur’s apprentice was on to something- I feel like there was more than one but I might be lying.)
Idk what I’m even talking about lmao, I miss just talking about random hetalia-related thoughts lol
