Who Became Dion Vector?

Dear Vector Vagabond,

Ah yes, the wandering philosopher Dion Vector. The diminutive Guardian of Wayward Sparks has shepherded many non-aligned Transformers from the various conflicts that have plagued Cybertron over the millennia. But perhaps it is time to finally elucidate who this bot truly is.

Born during the reign of Taraxus Prime the Insatiable, Blue Maximus was an Ultra-class interstellar freighter tasked with transporting goods between the various Cybertronian colonies. On a routine trip to Apollonia to deliver solartarium converters, Maximus was walking through the bustling Halcyon Plaza when the very first Arcturan attack happened.

As the war between the Cybertronian Empire and the Arcturan Resistance escalated, Maximus and his family continually found themselves caught up in a conflict they wanted no part of. It wasn’t until Maximus’ eldest son, Gindion, was conscripted and taken against his will that the family decided to flee Cybertron and take refuge elsewhere. In his travels, Maximus heard rumors to the location of the last known spacebridge, supposedly constructed by Mercurian Prime themselves to transport any and all Cybertronians to a secret haven during the days of the Chromatic Wars (a slight misconception, but that’s a tale for another time).

Maximus and his family trekked across the stars for many stellar cycles, meeting colorful characters and avoiding the Cybertron Secret Police along the way. However, when they arrived at the coordinates, they learned their efforts were all for naught. The spacebridge had been damaged by Noirgo the Destructor’s Hand eons ago, and now it was little more than an imposing art installation. Here they were, at the edge of the galaxy, supplies dwindled to their last reserves, and with nowhere to go. That’s when the family was beset by Terrorcons.

Ultimately, Blue Maximus was left alone. Badly injured and mode-locked, he crash landed on the alien world Antilla, a lush paradise world teeming with all sorts of organic life… and Energon. Maximus used a small drone component to scour the area, make minor repairs to his main body, and refine the wild Energon into something his body could use. It was during this period, forced to remain still and do little more than watch the stars and the battles above him, Maximus made a promise: no matter what, no one else would ever feel this pain.

Returning to Cybertron and using his drone to masquerade as a Cyberdroid, Maximus took on the new identity of Dion Vector (the name taken from his lost son and one of those colorful characters he encountered on his first voyage). He began to secretly shuttle any Cybertronians looking for refuge off-planet to Antilla. With the help of a young engineer named Skywarp, Vector outfitted his larger body with a personal transwarp engine, allowing him to shorten the trip immensely for his passengers. Vector would continue to carry passengers to Antilla over the next century, and the growing population of settlers led the planet to become a permanent settlement. After the end of the Cybertronian/Arcturan conflict, Vector would retire to spend his days in peace in the rapidly developing city of New Tyrest.

Mukesh Amani became the country's first trillionaire in rupees in 2007. In recent months, Gautam Adani, a fellow businessman from Gujarat, has displaced him as the richest Indian. He did, however, reclaim his position as Asia's richest man in the Forbes Billionaire 2023 list, which was published on April 4. Reliance Industries, with a revenue worth $104 billion market cap with holdings in retail, petrochemicals, telecom, and oil and gas is chaired and operated by Mukesh Ambani.

2. Net Worth and Education

His net worth is $84.1 billion, ranking him as the 13th richest billionaire in the world. He was born in Aden, Yemen. Here, his father was an attendant at a gas station. He graduated from the University of Bombay (now the University of Mumbai) with a bachelor's in chemical engineering before going on to Stanford University to acquire a master's in business administration.

3. Family Business

But Mukesh Ambani left the programme in 1981 to work for the family business, where he tried his hand at polyester fibres, petrochemicals, infrastructure, petroleum refining, oil and gas production, communications, and other areas to diversify the business.

4. Antilla – 27 Floors

The 27-story Antilla, owned by Mukesh Ambani, is among the most costly residences in the entire world. In reality, the skyscraper has 60 levels. His Maybatch, BMW 760 Li, Rolls Royce Cullinan, and other expensive vehicles are parked on the lowest six floors of his Antilia.

He was named the second-best CEO in the world by the Global Brand Guardianship Index 2023 and was named the fifth-best performing CEO in the world by Harvard Business Review. In addition, Mukesh Ambani was honored with the Businessman of the Year Award in 2010 and the TIME 100 Most Influential People in 2019 and 2020.

6. Luxury Properties and Private Jets

He is the owner of the Mandarin Oriental, New York, which is a grand and luxurious property as well as Stoke Park, London, UK a 900-year-old hotel. Mukesh Ambani is also well known for having a variety of extremely expensive private aircraft. He has three private aircraft in total. The estimated cost of the three aircraft—the Airbus A319, Falcon 900EX, and Boeing Business Jet—is Rs.100 crore. One of IDW1 Arcee's traits is that while she is genuinely trying to change and fight for a better world, that is not a world she expects to have a place in. Arcee struggles to conceptualize herself outside of being a warrior. she respects what Bumblebee is trying to do, but thinks the whole love and peace thing is foreign to her. Her first idea about how to pave the future was to look for someone that could focus her battle skills towards a worthy goal, even though she knows killing people to solve problems won't be sustainable in the long run.

Best case scenario, she's just alienated from the world she's helping create, which really isn't something new to her, she has never fitted in anyway. But realistically, I think she fully expects to die in battle. Not that she's a death seeker exactly, but that's the outcome most likely for her and she thinks she's earned it it given her history. Dying for the future is probably the noblest thing she can do.

That's also another reason why it's so important taht Aileron is like: No, that's bullshit. I'm not letting you self-sacrifice, there is a place for you in the future, with me, we can make it together. Because if we can't make it then what even is the point?

Dear Sleepy Savant,

In general, no, as most bots with sloth alt-modes tend to fade into the background. On Cybertron, they often transformed into signal amplifiers or internet routers, partnering with larger bots who transformed into radio-transmitting towers and broadcast antennae. Thus, on Earth, the tree-bound, low-energy sloth was a compatible beast form.

I can speak of one slothformer, Slo-Mo, who was sent to ancient Earth via transwarp drive by Maximal Command to provide long-term surveillance after Optimus Primal's Beast Expedition to visit the crashed Ark ended 4 million years ago. After her tour of duty ended, she relocated to planet Antilla where she discovered the remains of an Autobot colony that had fallen to cosmic rust. She received a transwarp order from Maximal Command to intervene with history and signal-boost the warning beacon, hoping to avoid a cosmic rust plague in the Maximals' own timeline. She did so for 500,000 years until Perceptor created corrostop in 1985.

However, since Megatron was healed by corrostop, he didn't die as the Maximals expected in 1986, but instead lived until 2005 before becoming Galvatron. This caused a major shift in their timeline as the Predacons became much more influential. As a result, all transwarp interventions were strictly forbidden. Slo-Mo herself rested on Antilla for the rest of her days. She remembered that there had once been a Beast Expedition… but for some reason, the name in her memory banks had changed to "Beast Wars"…
