Hello stranger! What is your opinion on the Barbirusa! I think they are very fascinating animals even though I do feel very very bad for them... their teeth got to hurt!
Hello!👋 Ouchie wouchie! I leaned of their existence just now and I have got to say! That ain't great! They shoulda go to the dentist or something! How did that happen, like, evolutionally? Who knows! I mean they're still around! They're probably doing okay, hopefully! Well, until they poke themselves at least.
Thanks for the question!

Is Shogun religious? What does he think of religion? What does he think of religious people? What does he think of non religious people?
(For context, Shogun is another WIP character. He is part of Frost’s inner circle, and is a hypernationalistic Barbirusa who seeks to reclaim his bloodline’s lost honor)
Shogun heavily believes in the idea of ancestor spirits who watch over him, guide him, and protect him. He fervently prays to them on a regular basis, claiming that he will honor them and bring glory to his family name.
He usually pays no heed to the beliefs of other people…..unless they try to actively tell him that his beliefs are wrong. To say that doesn’t end well for them is a massive, massive understatement. Thankfully most people don’t try to piss off the massive babirusa clad in armor that appears to be made out of bones.

Ooc: Someday I’ll describe the common fauna on Eden’s home planet.
A mountain dabae (Arabic for “Hyena”) is a very large, wooly, prehistoric-looking hyena. It’s got massive puma-like paws to climb the badlands and boar tusks tearing through its lips (like a Barbirusa pig). It’s also an apex predator that Draconid Kirinites have to deal with on a near-daily basis.

I've so many Kaleesh headcanons, is maddening.
Decided that "civilized" Kaleesh probably file their talons blunt, thus many of the official illustrations of Kaleesh feet, and since Ronderu, who I seem to just constantly sketch, is pretty much canonically a "wild woman", she tends to get more raptoresque feet. Plus, with her lifestyle, vicious gripping talons are much more useful than "civilized" toeclaws. Also integuments. Sort of headcannoning that they have scutes on their feet and hands for grip and extra protection along with maybe a slight pebbling of scales on varying parts of the body, and hair-like proto-feathers instead of actual hair. Because on more than one occasion you see depictions of Kaleesh who seemingly have hair. So pretty much leaning more saurian than just reptilian. And than the difference between the keratin horns and the barbirusa-type projected tusks. Anyone unfamiliar with barbirusas should look them up. Freaky hell-pigs.

There a species of pig, the Barbirusas, that has tusks that can grow long enough to penetrate its own skull, killing it.
