More Life-Sized Quintessential Quintuplets Are Ready to Be Taken Home for Around US$1,500 Each

In December last year, pre-orders for life-sized newly illustrated acrylic stands of The Quintessential Quintuplets went on sale, giving fans of the series a chance to pick up their favorite Nakano for just US$1,600. Now, to celebrate the release of The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie, a second set of life-sized acrylic stands have been put up for pre-order with a new design that features the girls in a dress looking back cutely.

Each of The Quintessential Quintuplets comes in at 187,000 yen per standee, or just shy of US$1,500 each, with no limit on how many you can buy of each girl, giving you the chance to make a classroom of Ninos. Or all of them if you wish, which will set you back 935,000 yen (around US$7,400), not bad for all the Nakano sisters together!

Pre-orders for the life-sized newly illustrated acrylic stands of The Quintessential Quintuplets are available until June 19 with shipping expected around the end of August. The standees range from 158 centimeters tall to 180 centimeters based on the pose and the manufacturing of each of the girls.

Online store HICUL, which is selling the life-sized Quins, is also releasing goods based on the newly drawn visuals for the life-sized The Quintessential Quintuplets at a more physically reasonable, and cost-appropriate, size. These goods include acrylic key chains, tapestries and even t-shirts.

With items available for each Nakano sister, you'll be able to decorate your Quintuplet shrine (we all have one!) with literally a life-sized cut down of your favorite girl and then proudly display the love you have for her in your heart on your chest.

While The Quintessential Quintuplets might be a little late for summer (though, maths was never their strong subject), the five girls don their bathing suits in the first key visual for the upcoming The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie, which is on schedule to be released in 2022. The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Earns Over 390 Million Yen in 1st Three Days in JP Theaters

The Quintessential Quintuplets are on top of the world – well, maybe second to Shin Ultraman, but still. The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie was released in Japan on May 20 as the final story adapted into anime from the original manga series by Negi Haruba, and according to Mantan Web, has come in second in the box office ranking after Hideaki Anno’s and Shinji Higuchi’s tokusatsu film.

Over The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie’s first three days in theaters, the film has brought in over 390 million yen (US$3,05 million) on the back of 260,000 tickets sold. This is an outstanding result for a film that only opened in 108 theaters across Japan. For reference, Shin Ultraman was released in 362 theaters last Friday, more than three times The Quintessential Quintuplets. and only earned around 2.5 times more than the final Nakano story.

This made The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie have a better first weekend than Morbius, The Batman and even Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, though all three films had IMAX and premium format showings while The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie only opened on normal cinema screens.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Reveals 2nd Week Gift for Theatergoers

The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie opened last Friday in Japan, delighting fans across the country and not leaving a dry house in the theaters. The Twitter account for the series revealed last night that in the second week of showings, instead of receiving an epilogue chapter, five shikishi of the Nakano sisters will be handed out featuring a newly drawn visual (and their love!) – though only one will be given out per person.

To celebrate the release of The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie last Friday, the Nakano sisters have taken up a new part-time job as models for Pizza Hut boxes in Japan. A visual of the five girls will feature on the "My Box" single meal packs that have a one-person pizza and a few sides, including a spicy version for those that are fans of Nino and Itsuki.

The already quite fashionable Nanako sisters of The Quintessential Quintuplets anime franchise are teaming up with Japanese e-commerce fashion website ZOZOTOWN to bring about a monochromatic chic look for the girls in the latest fashion styles. Though the styles found in the above visual for the collab can't be bought directly (though, could probably be created quite easily), goods based on the visual will be released.

The additional merch will consist of exclusive clear file posters, badges, acrylic stands of the characters and a premium version of the manga chapter bonus that includes additional illustrations and an exclusive interview with the cast members that will be available for purchase, shown above.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Manga Scores 1 More Chapter for Theatergoers in Japan

In late May, The Quintessential Quintuplets return in the first anime film, aptly titled The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie. But for those "in the know" about the series, they would know that the film's story couldn't come close to ending the anime series that first originated in the now-finished manga series by Negi Haruba. That changes with the announcement of the first theatrical gift for the film – an epilogue chapter of the manga.

The 24-page 122+1 chapter will be released as part of volume 14.5 to those who go watch The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie in theaters and will feature a story set after the end of the original manga as well as character settings from the film. The chapter will also be published in Weekly Shonen Magazine issue number 25, which releases in Japan on May 18, two days before the film is released on May 20.

While the next major outing for The Quintessential Quintuplets anime will be a sequel film that premieres in Japanese theaters on May 20, to save up for that trip, the five girls are taking up a part-time job at the Fuji Q Highland amusement park from February 26 to April 22. A visual of the girls in their work uniforms was released.

The collaboration between The Quintessential Quintuplets and Fuji-Q Highland will have the girls help guide visitors around the park and give out announcements through the loudspeaker system, as well as a stamp rally will be held. Food based on the series will also be sold throughout the park as well as goods based on the visual.

hololive Alternative Unleashes Gorgeous Full Project Teaser Promo

After a short teaser for the secretive hololive Alternative was released back in February, the VTuber agency released a full teaser promotional video tonight with more animation cuts and more of Calliope Mori's song "Dawn Blue."

The hololive Alternative project aims to create an alternate world through a "variety of works," though said works haven't been revealed as of yet.

Today's teaser video was directed and storyboarded by Shun Enokido (action animation director on Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale) with the animation supervised by Yuukei Yamada (Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Movie -Rebellion-). Shingo Yamashita (Pokémon: Twilight Wings director, JUJUSTU KAISEN opening animation) was the director of photography and Bilbury Animation Studio's CG department worked on the promo. The Quintessential Quintuplets Anime Continues With Anime Film in 2022

The secret is out! The Quintessential Quintuplets will be heading onto the big screen as the next outing for the five girls (and Futaro) in The Quintessential Quintuplets The Movie in 2022. It was previously revealed at the end of the second season, which is streaming here on Crunchyroll, that the anime would continue, with tonight revealed that in fact, it'll be an anime film.

No more information has been released for the film, though the news that there would a The Quintessential Quintuplets anime film was posted on an Instagram Story by Bilbury Animation Studio earlier this week, and quickly removed. The studio also posted about the news tonight, confirming their return to the franchise.

The Quintessential Quintuplets 2 just finished airing, with every episode of the two-season show available on Crunchyroll.
