Desis Grover and Desi Grace siblings headcannons
Jason and Thalia are Pakistani and Grover is Indian.
Grover makes the best chai, he makes it over the campfire and pours it for Thalia and Jason who are both waiting patiently.
Thalia smuggled some rusk cakes in and Jason grabbed some cardamon.
They all huddle around the campfire, drinking their chai and singing songs in their respective languages.
And yet can all understand the other.
Jason wears Thalia’s dupatta’s likes capes and often steals them.
Thalia has her mothers gold bangles and can’t bare to part with them.

Hey bestie 🥰 In relation to the dilf next door
Bestie thank you so much for looking out for me ❤️🫶, you’re a true bestie 🫶❤️ I’m deffo being cautious because my first thoughts (well second immediate thoughts after ‘wow he so handsome’) were the same as yours - I must be careful no matter what happens because he is older, already knows where I live and I do live by myself; all things that make this trickier. I always thought in fanfics that an age gap was hot but that irl if an older man seemed interested in someone significantly younger (I’m 23 and during our small talk yesterday I learned he is in his late thirties) that that’s an immediate red flag and a nuh-uh 🙅‍♀️ So I’m making sure to be very careful with how things go
So taking all these things into consideration, he does seem genuinely really nice, our walk around the neighbourhood went well ☺️ After our walk we sat on a park bench and talked some more to get to know each other better. It seemed like he only made moves once I made moves - to explain myself, in the middle of talking I did the thing where I gently nudged his arm with my hand (something I do with everyone, like you know that innocent hand touch to the arm for the girlies and the bros and the fam and to everyone else in between) and then he did the same a few times to me too. Then I lightly put my knee to his (I was just trying to do some subtle stuff to give him hints that I’m low-key interested but not too much stuff so that if he didn’t feel the same way I could brush it off as ‘I’m just really friendly and do those things with everyone hehe 😅’) and he leaned his knee further into mine and we remained like that for the rest of the convo. I got the impression then that he was being careful and not trying to make any moves first to try to prevent me feeling uncomfortable because of all the factors in this sitch. So I tried to give hints without outright asking him out because I deadass would rather die than ever make the first move 😭 I subtly brought up I’m single and asked him if he was too (without outright asking) and then I mentioned the name of a coffee shop we walked past looks interesting (hoping he’d get the darn hint) and he asked if I wanted to try it out with him and the d word came up - so we’re going on a first date next Saturday, eeeep!!
I’m hoping then we can clarify what we’re both looking for going forward - because I’m not looking for anything serious, just some mutually exclusive fun one night once a week (I’m really not looking to invest more time or energy for anything else than that because of upcoming finals) so I hope he’s on the same page too, and if not at least we would have had that discussion early on.
Then we walked back to the apartment complex arm against arm and eeeeppp it was just an exciting day ☺️
Bestie I’m definitely being careful to make sure I protect myself and am safe, and am trying to get to know him really well before deciding if I want to take things any further. Thankfully he seems like a genuinely nice person - I felt safe and comfortable with him ☺️
And yes south asain girlies 🫶❤️💘💘💘🥰!!!!
And whilst I’m not getting ahead of myself because I know I have to see how things progress at each meeting, but should anything sexi happen at any point in the future - dw bestie I won’t give deets of those because das tmi baha - I just wanted to share some general sfw stuff about this dilf sitch because I feel like we can be two girlies who chat over online chai tea and cake rusks 🥰🫶❤️
- 💙
(this is in relation to this anon ask, for anyone wondering)
Omg bestie!! Firstly, I’m sorry for the late reply! But omg!!! I’m happy you already realise the risks and tbh as long as you do AND you feel safe and comfy with him… there’s no reason why you can’t have fun and live your best dilfy life!! Please feel free to share all the dilfy deets (as much as you feel comfortable with) bc we are all dilf fanatics here!!! we are all living vicariously through you bahaha 😌😌😌💙💙💙

Home is a feeling, it's a mix of emotions. Home is a drive back to the past, a rush of bittersweet memories. It's watching your brothers pray fajar, it's the voice of your father reciting Qur'an just before the crack of dawn, it's the scented smoke wafting from the kitchen, the aroma of perfectly gol and layered parathas of your mother which you won't ever be able to match. It's the morning haste and chaos while getting ready for school, the warm lunch for your speaking stomachs when you finally return in the afternoon; hot and tired. It's the evening chai in the living room, savoured with rusk and biscuits and cakes. It's prime time tv shows, the silly jokes, the stupid banter, ridiculous character preferences, inconsequential criticism, it's telling your siblings to shush because you can't hear properly. It's junooni cricket streaming, the irregular heartbeats, the hurrahs and disappointment. It's working in the kitchen with your mother and marvelling at her precise cooking, and mocking your sister for burning the handi. It's sending your brothers running for tandoor, it's telling them to cut cucumber or make raita. It's sometimes staying up late to watch movies and turning up the volume after closing the door to your parents room. It's huddling around your mother and listen to her talk about religion, about people, about life and the hereafter. It's turning off the air conditioner, take a sweeping look at your parents and siblings in the dark room and come back to your place and pull the duvet up to the nose.
Home is a routine, a system. Home is joint laughs, shoulders and tears and hugs. Home is family, it's the time pervading the space.
Home is the absence of loneliness.

Favorite breakfast?
hi anon 👋🏽 thanks for the question...now that i'm thinking about it i think i was never a breakfast person?
when i was in school i used to have this thing called bournvita every morning. i p much gave up on even that once college started. now that i work, i just make myself coffee so i can avoid passing out on my laptop as soon as i log in.
i'm not a huge coffee fan and tbh. i think even just a good cup of chai with parle g (or khari or rusk idc) is a pretty solid b'fast for me. especially if it's raining heavily outside? ideal breakfast tbh.
indians typically do have heavy breakfasts, even in my house, we'd make stuff like poha, upma, and uttapam. a lot of my friends would eat whole ass parathas, dosas, idlis, and whatnot too. i just never woke up in time to do all that rip
Send me a distraction an ask about literally anything

My little sister's teacher tells her
the most fascinating story
in science class today:
not everyone is going to like you.
Think of how the cosmos was created.
Some things were as opposite
as opposite could be,
like matter and antimatter
destroying each other the minute
they touched for no particular reason
and then there was the rest of the crowd
unsure, never quite making up their minds,
dark matter-like people.
Everything you've ever known
was designed to have its own taste,
but that's okay, she says.
You don't have to be universally accepted,
you just need a handful that's got your back
and I promise you, you will find your tribe.
Whether it's a pack of laughing hyenas
in threes or Dorothy's Oz syndicate of
the Scarecrow, the Tin Man
and the lion, you will find them.
They'll like you a lot,
even on the days you don't.
They'll like you during your mohawk era
and your mermaid hair phase,
your drinking-instead-of-facing-yourself
years and your 'I-quit-my-job-I'm-broke' stage.
They'll like you despite
the fifty people out there who don't,
and they'll like you enough to tell you
that you don't need to win anyone over.
Hold onto them.
The ones who'll cheer you on when
you're running the rat race you signed up for
and yet bring you chai and
a plate of Britannia rusk
when you decide to take a break
and start gardening remotely instead.
The ones who make you their cup of tea,
regardless of the world thinking
you're not warm enough.
Sweet enough.
Strong enough. Light enough.
Good enough.
Because the truth is,
you could be
the best version of yourself,
and still come last
in someone else's judging sheet.
And rumour has it
that once Charlie Chaplin entered
a Chaplin look-alike contest
and came twentieth in place.
Somewhere, someone loves him
twenty times more
just to make up for this.

A Lunchtime Tea Pairing Guide That Is Trending and Why
Tea and lunchtime have a storied history throughout India, the UK, and now the rest of the world. In a historical setting, tea is more than just a beverage to wash a meal down. The preparation, company, and food are as important as the drink itself, and many cultures revere tea as a cultural icon and a deep part of edible heritage.
Historically, the women in India prepared tea as a ritual as a token of hospitality to family, friends, and guests. Tea culture and lunchtime are where the community gossip is traded, love is shown to friends, and stress from life melts away.
In the UK, teatime and lunch are an institution where all time and life obligations take pause to enjoy a bold cup of black tea with a meal that is not quite lunch or dinner but something distinctly in between.

What Teas Pair Best With Lunchtime
The essential tea should be prepared to match the flavors, aromas, and mood of the setting and we will break down the best teas to pair with each time of teatime below.
Green Teas
Green tea is the chosen hot cup that accompanies every lunchtime in China. All good lunchtime gossip is traded over a hot cup of tea like a good Darjeeling Organic Green tea that boasts a light vegetal taste that doesn’t overpower the main course. Its gentle flavor profile and subtle notes compliment lighter fare that doesn’t compete with the palette. Dishes that feature steamed seafood, rice, or chicken are great companions to a green tea.
Floral Teas
Floral teas collaborate well with a traditional English tea time spread. Miniature sandwiches, scones, and delicate pastries pair perfectly with a delicate botanical tea that has a complex aroma of floral notes such as Lavender Valley. This blend combines a base of lavender with rose and white peony to create a romantic bouquet in a teacup.
Herbal Teas
Herbal teas that feature earth tones pair well with spiced dishes like stews, curries, and stir-fries. These teas are great at neutralizing oil-heavy dishes and complement fried and flavorful dishes. Herbaceous teas often have helpful digestive qualities that can aid digestion making lunch a well-balanced and harmonious experience.
Black Teas
Black teas have been the English standard where lunch is less about mid-day and more about the bridging the time between lunch and dinner. They offer the perfect caffeinated kick to pair with red meat-based dishes or decadent desserts. A general rule of thumb is that if it pairs well with red wine, it will also suit robust black teas, like a high-quality English Breakfast blend. This is because the tannins sometimes create malty roasted flavors that can co-exist with equally bold lunchtime dishes.
Spiced Teas
Spiced teas like a good Chai Adda are the go-to lunches that feature bold cheeses like a savory brie galette or a fried samosa with complimentary spices. It also makes an ideal candidate for greeting the dessert course. Adding a steamed milk to a chai tea and pairing it with a Madeline cookie or rusk cake will have you wondering why you didn’t start with the sweetest course first!
