HEYA i just had a gameplay mechanic question! in the past i have 'save scummed'/saved before each new moon/timeskip, so that way if my fave cat died i could simply reload and try again until i got an outcome i was happy w/ since im also currently writing about and developing these ocs! i havent played in about a month and was wondering if you patched this? i had been what i thought was reloading but was actually just timeskipping as the savescum no longer works and it saves regardless :(

little followup to the savescum question ive tested it out what is happening is that if i save before a new moon, timeskip, go main menu without saving and reload it DOES save and counts that as progressing. i did this with a new clan and went from moon 1-3. BUT if i do that then switch clans and reload it resets back to moon 1. is this a bug??? i rlly rely on this savescumming mechanic and how it is currently makes me uneasy if this is right :(

You need to fully close the game! It's been this way for some time now :]

Hey everyone.

Today, many of you are celebrating American Thanksgiving, but I wanted to take a moment to use this platform I've somehow stumbled into to do something different. Today is the National Day of Mourning, a day where we take time to remember and mourn the suffering and deaths of the indigenous American people who were brutally colonized by the founders of the country. It is also a day to remember that their descendants are still suffering, that their struggles are not over.

Now, I am very white and living on stolen land. I am not the expert here and I don't think it would be my place to explain the struggles the indigenous Americans are facing.

But I do run a fairly popular Warrior Cats blog and I do think it would be worthwhile to highlight the fact that Warrior Cats and its fandom are full of Anti-Indigenous bigotry. You may notice that I use the term "Healer" instead of "Medicine Cats" and that's because the original term is blatant and disrespectful cultural appropriation that I don't want to take part in. And that's just one example.

HERE is a link to a comprehensive article researched and written by an All-Native/Indigenous team of Warrior Cats fans that details the harmful stereotypes the Erins use and suggestions on what you can do to avoid contributing to them. Please, read this document and take some time to think about what it says.

I also encourage any Native/Indigenous people who find this post to add to it or link places where my fans can support you and your communities.

that's how this place works. it's not like reality, with solid dependable existence. it works in a strange sort of way that's almost... dreamlike. and when you leave, it feels very much like waking up from a dream. or so you've been told.

you know all this, but nevermind how— you're more interested in exploring at the moment.

the windows show you images of cats and places you've never seen before. none of them are familiar, and you find yourself wondering what you're even seeing, or if it's real.

Honeyfoot had always been instant he wasn’t the child-caring sort… but fate had other plans, so it seemed. Still, Phloxkit had an insatiable appetite, and with the plains of NettleClan’s territory burned away as they were, hunting on familiar territory was near fruitless.

Still, she was fed, even if he could feel his stomach rumbling.

He’d gone back to the clan’s home, of course- more in hope than expectation. It had all been ash, save for the remains of his clanmates.

He left them where they were, hoping the smoke had gotten them, rather than the heat and roaring terror.

Phloxkit could learn the truth when she was older. Perhaps they could reclaim this old camp, once prey had returned to the area, and the autumn and winter had passed.

They set out days later, a series of temporary nests in the grass serving as their homes. Phlox’s little legs got tired… often, but it was forgiven especially when a stand of stones, strewn about with saplings, was found by the pair; found and found to be uninhabited, even better. The ground was warm, and the tiredness of the last few days caught up with them…

Honeyfoot didn’t even complain with Phloxkit snuggled up against his belly, pronouncing his fur most comfortable. Idly he wondered how she was avoiding overheating like this.

Trying a different format today, where I put the text on the images instead of going purely for prose … please let me know which you prefer! Or maybe if you’d want text on images only?

hi sorry this is probably a stupid question but are the clans like. idk saves. info thing stored in the folder clangen is in or will you have to make a different clan each time? like, i have clangen in my onedrive folder to carry it over and i wanna make sure i wont lose my clans if/when i change my device, if that makes sense

They have their own save location, separate from the game itself. You can find them by opening the data directory, found in the game's settings!

Patrol artwork Ive made for my Snailgen Mod!

Ive decided that drawing the entire snats from scratch was for the best because it was very difficult to convert normal cats into snail cats and make it look... not... weird... Obviously the original credit for these still goes to the artists who work on Clangen though, as that is still my base for every single one of these patrol artworks and parts of their work is still left over in my edits <3!!
