Findjackwalten 07/15/23 Update #1 and #2 Walkthrough

Findjackwalten updated TWICE yesterday! There's no new pages but a LOT of already existing pages have changed, several of them more than once.

Lots of these images of Bon have appeared on top of the whole page. The page in this screenshot is SUPPOSED to be grey except for the new bons, but The Wayback Machine doesn't archive that color overlay in the page capture.

If you use something like Ublock Origin to remove the Bon assets you can see the bit of white-on-black text reads "Say something..."

This image also seems to be the same as the backdrop to this teaser

Seeing it now it's more obvious what the drawing is actually of. Bon is wearing a hard hat, with little screws and bolts of electricity around him. It seems engineering-related, like somewhere Susan would work.

This one's enigmatic. Exact google search results are nonexistent (IE, searching the name in quotation marks), so it probably refers to something in universe? It's capitalized, so it's a proper noun. Maybe the name of a company? Maybe even the name of an episode of something? An episode of The Walten Files? and episode of Little Bon's Neighborhood? An episode of The Showstoppers Comedy Extravaganza?????? It's so vague I really don't even know what to say here.

"Sha was originally named "Belle" or "Belly" so that all the names would start with a B and be named the "THE 4 B's" or "THE B PACK" instead of "THE SHOWSTOPPERS", but Sha sounded more adequate. She was actually the last showstopper to be made and a final addition because back when TWF was a fangame i needed a character to balance the group more and a more adequate stage companion to Bon than Banny (too similar to Candy and Cindy from good ol FNaC) so Sha was made, so yeah, my fav showstopper right there."

Something I mostly knew already but was pretty obscure! I always really love getting a look into the creation of The Walten Files, and this bit about Sha only existing as to make Welcome to Bon's Burgers less similar to Five Nights at Candy's is a really fun fact.

There is LOADS of text on this page now. It reads like more Anthony website posting, which definitely confirms this being a sort of bizarro 'missing link' from the nonfunctional "Object Possession" link on /brightonghosts.

This "Jazmin Doll" story is completely fictional and exclusive to the universe of The Walten Files. There is some (completely unsubstantiated) speculation that Child's Play could be based on the real-world haunted artifact of Robert the doll, but that's obviously not what's being referred to here.

The important information here is this:

"dOnce [sic] the soul chooses it's vessel, it becomes it's body. However, the longer it spends inside of it. The more it becomes it's ACTUAL body. (Jazmin's body was the doll, the wood was her skin, the wooden arm was her real arm.) it can cause it pain and it can feel everything it touches. this has been named amongst us ghostfans as "Post-Extensive Object Possesion"'

This is like. a CRAZY bomb of information to be given about the ghosts in this universe. I don't want to theorize about it too much since I try to keep crazy theories away from these walkthrough posts, but holy shit.

Another little thing here is that there's some odd letters on this page that i'm not totally willing to write off as just typos. There's a missing "e" and "g" in this bit here:

What are your thoughts on Sonic.exe? And the various spin-offs that came out of it?

I may lose some points with folks for this but, I'unno! He kinda just exists for me, to be honest! Just another little guy born (probably as a joke) at the very end of the "evil haunted video game" era of creepypastas -- The only couple of those that I enjoyed being Ben Drowned and everything with the Tails Doll. I'm just not too familiar with Sonic.exe outside of the original creepypasta and a little bit of that fangame that got made years ago.

He got popular right before a phase of my life where I'd taken a long break from all things Sonic (save for the comics). Sonic 4 happened, followed by Sonic Lost World, and I got kinda disheartened by the series, outside of what Archie was putting out at the time. I came back years later for Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Prime. Never dropped the comics though. Mourned Archie Sonic, and switched to IDW when that launched. Basically, Sonic.exe flew over my head.

When I was a kid looking for an "evil Sonic" to enjoy, the go-to was either Dark Sonic/Dark Super Sonic or Fleetway's take on Super Sonic (who I still would very much like to draw one of these days). My favorite of those two was Fleetway Super. Dude had an awesome design and was way more fleshed out as a concept. That being said, those two never really lost their popularity -- Fleetway Super Sonic especially. This is one hell of a tangent.

Finally, I just can't take Sonic.exe seriously. He was never meant to be taken seriously, anyway. Like I said, he was definitely for sure meant to be a satirical take on the haunted video game concept. Ain't thinking about him too much! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

An announcement in a way

I have had this in mind for a while now. I'm planning on potentially making a FNAF fangame in the future when I learn how to code and whatnot.

The game will be called "Dreadbear's Horror house" or DHH for short. In this game you'll go against the Night-Terror animatronics and Dreadbear. The Night-Terrors are based off of the Nightmare animatronics in fnaf 4 and all have different functions that fit the areas they're in.

First up is Night-Terror Chica and Night-Terror Cupcake:

Night-Terror Chica's segment of the Horror attraction is made to look like a kitchen; Chica will be heard banging pans together and you must crawl through the kitchen in order to get to the next level. However you must be careful as Chica will hear you if you're crawling too fast, throwing butcher knives down at the floor as warnings. If 3 knives are thrown (not near exit) Chica will jumpscare and kill you. If 3 knives are thrown and you are closer the exit Night-Terror Cupcake will attack instead.

Next is Night-Terror Freddy and Night-Terror Puppet:

After exiting the kitchen you'll wind up in a hallway; this is where Night-Terror Puppet and Freddy will be. Near the door you enter through is a music box and a flashlight. The Flashlight will be needed to stop Night-Terror Freddy from running at you, the music box must be wound up to keep Night-Terror Puppet at bay, it'll be unpredictable as to where he will attack from though. Once the timer hits 2am both of the animatronics will power off, allowing you to move onto the next section.

Night-Terror Bonnie and Night-Terror Foxy are next

For this deadly duo you will be in a section designed to look like a living room/lounge room with an extra door across from you. If you hear breathing behind it that means Bonnie is there, in order to get him away you must hold the door shut until you hear him leave. Flashing the light at Night-Terror Bonnie will result in him killing you. However if you hear a scraping sound, it means that Night-Terror Foxy is there and you must flash the light at him 3 times to get him to go away. Once the timer hits 2:30 you have to quickly get out through a passage located in a cupboard leading you to the last section.

Lastly; we have Dreadbear, Night-Terror BB, Terror-doll (this game's ver of Plushtrap) and Night-Terror Mangle.

This segment is in a security office much like in game one, the gameplay acting similar to Fnaf 1's 4th night

Terror-doll will appear at the left door like Bonnie, Night-Terror BB being on the right much like Chica would. Night-Terror Mangle will function like Foxy did in fnaf 1; you must check on them often and if they get to your office Mangle will peek in through the left door, dangling on the ceiling. Dreadbear's role is like Freddy, will appear on the right but if the power goes out he will attack from the left.

Keep in mind I may end up not making it, but if I don't I wouldn't mind allowing someone else to use the idea. Preferably if they ask permission to do so, though if I do make it myself (which I hope I'll actually do) I would love ideas/tips on how to make the sections better.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

At first, it was just "Faye the Fox," because she was an independent character. Then I thought of giving her a family, so I wanted to have a family name, so I chose "Moreau*," a surname meaning "black-haired" in French. I chose "Faye" because it was a very soft-sounding name and I liked it.

[*I looked it up again to double-check and it actually means dark-skinned. Now that doesn't make any sense! Faye's family is very very white. One of the very few times I actively make the choice to white-code my OCs. There are reasons for this.]

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)

Faye is 8 years old, same as Tails.

No.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Grandma's meatloaf!

She is a child and does not work, but she does help Mother with chores in the basement sometimes.

Faye loves dollmaking and taxidermy. She also loves to play pretend and make up stories, as any child does.

She has a genuine talent for dollmaking and sewing in general. She has a nack for the tiniest of details, probably in half thanks to her abnormally small hands.

Faye loves playing in the garden and collecting materials for her dolls. She doesn't like doing chores for the house, though. Or fighting 1-on-1.

She still retains most of her features, but this "Beta Faye" has an oversized bow instead of a tiny hat, a ribbonless black bow on a white bib, and no purple trimming on her black dress at all! She also has black ear furnishings and is missing her heart-shaped ear tips.

Sonic Forces and Little Nightmares. One of my first fangame ideas was a horror game inspired by LN. I still have a game in mind for Faye, but it looks very different compared to how it used to be then.

Psychological horror.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Unlabeled. She's a little girl and hasn't been thinking about those things yet. Also, with the way her family reproduces, she never needs to worry about boys.

Quite a few, it's hard to keep track. She's the youngest, though.

Mother can be quite strict and a little mean, but she's nice to her. Mostly.

Comet, Angel, Robin, Cricket and Cupid are meant to be YDKJ hosts for my own YDKJ hypothetical fangame with Red and Penny being sign-in hosts, yes, TWO sign-in hosts, HAHA!

Buttons is a small doll that Redacted created and Buttons helps out Redacted around the Murder Hotel but Redacted mostly lets Buttons do whatever he wants since Buttons is still young (note, without the mask, Buttons has freckles). Buttons made his own mask because he wants to be just like Redacted when he gets older (aww :’) ). Buttons is also not the only doll that Redacted created. The other dolls are like bellhops and helpers around the Murder Hotel

Pandora was originally created for a one off fanfic (like Comet at first) but after a while, I became attached to them and now they’re here to stay behind a fanfic. Pandora is a undead parasite, having become a ghost with their parasitic abilities still intact

B is Binjpipe’s assistant. She used to be human but is now an android who helps out Binjpipe. (Note: she is NOT the voice Cookie is with in Full Stream, that would be the actual Binjpipe I made with long pink hair and white dress). B is also very sweet and kind. She actually does show concern for Binjpipe employees (like Cookie) and does occasionally question what Binjpipe is doing. (Note: B is unaware that she used to be human since Binjpipe brainwashed her like how she technically did to Cookie, sometimes Binjpipe has to reset B)

(Another note: Comet is non-binary and uses they/them, Cricket is Genderfluid and uses any pronouns, Red and Pandora are Trigender. Red uses he/him, she/her and they/them and Pandora uses he/him, she/her, they/them and it/its)

my original idea for Delilahs makeover actually came from astralspiffs newest fnaf fangame video, i was instantlly enraptured by the so called "withered mermaid babe" and how she moved so uniquely compared to all the other animatronics in canon, say maybe shattered monty.

From the extras mode i found out that Felix the Shark was an actual animatronic who dubiously exists in the fnaf well. everything. From him i found out we actually have an at-least-canon-to-her-specific-book canon mermaid animatronic! Delilah the Mermaid!

in Tales from the Pizzaplex #4: Submechanophobia Delilah is one of the animatronics the novels protagonist is tasked with fixing. according to the books description she has faded red hair and a missing eye, which one of the older versions of the bookcovers depicts actually! She also looks way more human in the oldest version, but there was two other bookcovers, and the newest one has a more anime esque mermaid with blond hair pink eyes and both arms and hands! which, well she didnt originally have. (I've yet to actually read the book in its entirety but its in the plans.)

as you can see i took great care in trying to take stuff into account for this one, but certain stuff just wasnt visible in her original design.

i did debate on wether she had a very faint tattered skirt or a side fin, which is what i ultimately decided to go with!

first i tried to trace and copy what we could see from the cover and then extrapolateda few thing from there, such as her torn off jaw and neck, hands and arms, and her tail!

for her headpiece i decided to give her more pearls, as it looked so sparse and it mightave become broken during all that time, and gave her those really cool sidefins! at first i debated in making htem somewhat operational, like ive seen on some dolls and other irl animatronics, but decided not to.

though i did have some ideas about how i would design her for my au, which this whole reconstruction was all about, and my firsts thoughts was some sort of cool animatronic mascot buddy! similar to funtime freddy and bonbon, in the way that bonbon replaces ft!freddys hand completely, and the cupcake from the original first line of games!

I was also considering some other sea creature as the animal companion to her design in my au.. as my au is a combination of more than one thing but in the Freddy Fazbear Pizzaplexs setting. The whole idea si to try and imagine it without the well. osha violations and most of the murder.

To cap it all off, I'm shocked that Jack's comment section is filled with people having actual discussions about the games he plays, instead of copy-pasting "It's always a good day when [INSERT NAME HERE] uploads a content!" like every other comments section lately. (This is something that is currently rampant on even very small channels, so put your strawman soapbox about supporting smaller hosts away.)

I've been watching analyses of Faith, Who's Lila, and some re-evaluations of FNaF during my sick time, and while the host will have an earnest call for actual discussion in the comments, you have to dig through tons of "It's always a good day when X uploads" filler comments to find people actually discussing the work.

Flaw Peacock was an amazing exception because he analyzes works on such a professional level that people who would leave worthless comments like that get fully filtered.

...I'm starting to realize that those kinds of comments might be a result of people not adapting to the change in youtube landscape. Due to the rise in prominence of video essays, and calmer tones showing up even on channels that used to be wild and screamy, you can't really comment on "I LIKED THE PART WHERE HE SCREAMED AND SAID FUCK AND MADE THE FUNNY MAYMAY DANCE ACROSS THE SCREEN!", so those kinds of people have nowhere else to go. If you don't have anything to say, you can freaking be quiet, though. But I'm just speculating on all this.

I know I said monthly, but I only managed to snag new characters this month and not last month. Anyway:

Yorihime and Satori: Got ridiculously lucky and snagged these two off some random pulls.

Alter Seiran: Ended up with too many Seal Crystals again, and Alter Seiran filled a useful niche (i.e. Moon Element) so I sparked for her. Because she’s my first Divine Festival unit, I had like 24+ Divine Paper Dolls to immediately Mega Limit Break her with.

Retro Nitori: This unit was forced on me due to the recent 2.5M downloads prayer. Would have been really nice if I’d gotten Retro / 80′s Hair Sanae instead, but I’m not gonna sell a perfectly fine unit either.

If it weren’t for that dang Divergent Spirits prayer, I would have Urumi by now and my Forbidden Four would have been the Forbidden Three. I’m not too worried about Urumi since LostWord Jp is doing an  event with Urumi (and when the Event comes to English, they’ll have to put Urumi into a Festival if they want to make any sort of money off the costume) but so help me if Narumi, Eika and the remaining newcomers get sent to Divergent Spirits jail next...

In terms of remaining characters: Toutetsu was recently revealed though she’s not playable yet. The only characters left for Next Ninja to add before they have to start scraping the bottom of the barrel are Mizuchi (very interesting to see what they do, considering she’s in an on-going story), Rinnosuke and Miyoi (these two already appear in story, they’re just not playable. After they had to gall to add Swimsuit Miyoi and not the original version, both are probably inevitable).

I am looking forward to seeing how Next Ninja deals with the lack of new characters. Ideally they move onto the PC-98 characters, but I wanna see if Next Ninja is desperate to try and sell Z-Tier characters like Youki Konpaku, Layla Prismriver or even Fortune Teller. Or if they’ll go for a real deep cut and start adding Seihou characters*.

(*That’s probably not gonna happen, I know they’ve appeared in some fangames like Touhou Soccer, but I don’t think ZUN actually owns those characters)
