breaking my silence dexter is a bit meek and has insecurities but i actually think hes quite self-assured in who he is and what he believes to be right and i think it makes him all the more interesting as a character. there is a clear conflict in that he is aware he does not live up to the expectations of others and a part of him wants to but not at the expense of his own beliefs and convictions. does he wish he was more like daring sometimes, the perfect, ideal prince? sure. but he’s also someone who agrees with those who wish to disrupt the status quo, and doing what he believes to be right is more important to him than fitting in or being agreeable. so yes hes awkward and lacks confidence but in the things that matters he is actually quite brave about standing up for his own beliefs

Everyone says Grif and Simmons were hooking up in the warthog or that they weren’t, but what about the secret third option where they were going to hook up and Simmons was like, “hey, we may be in the middle of nowhere but we’re still outside, maybe we shouldn’t take our clothes off??” And Grif’s like “dude.
