SpaceTime -- A brief history
SpaceTime is Australia’s most popular and respected astronomy and space science news program – averaging over two million downloads every year. We’re also number five in the United States.  The show reports on the latest stories and discoveries making news in astronomy, space flight, and science.  SpaceTime features weekly interviews with leading Australian scientists about their research.  The show began life in 1995 as ‘StarStuff’ on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) NewsRadio network.  Award winning investigative reporter Stuart Gary created the program during more than fifteen years as NewsRadio’s evening anchor and Science Editor.  Gary’s always loved science. He studied astronomy at university and was invited to undertake a PHD in astrophysics, but instead focused on his career in journalism and radio broadcasting. He worked as an announcer and music DJ in commercial radio, before becoming a journalist and eventually joining ABC News and Current Affairs. Later, Gary became part of the team that set up ABC NewsRadio and was one of its first presenters. When asked to put his science background to use, Gary developed StarStuff which he wrote, produced and hosted, consistently achieving 9 per cent of the national Australian radio audience based on the ABC’s Nielsen ratings survey figures for the five major Australian metro markets: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.  The StarStuff podcast was published on line by ABC Science -- achieving over 1.3 million downloads annually.  However, after some 20 years, the show finally wrapped up in December 2015 following ABC funding cuts, and a redirection of available finances to increase sports and horse racing coverage.  Rather than continue with the ABC, Gary resigned so that he could keep the show going independently.  StarStuff was rebranded as “SpaceTime”, with the first episode being broadcast in February 2016.  Over the years, SpaceTime has grown, more than doubling its former ABC audience numbers and expanding to include new segments such as the Science Report -- which provides a wrap of general science news, weekly skeptical science features, special reports looking at the latest computer and technology news, and Skywatch – which provides a monthly guide to the night skies. Anyway, @star-observer is censoring my Facebook comments in response to Sydney 'Gay' and 'Lesbian' Mardi Gras trashing all their rainbow flags and replacing them with 'progress' pride flags, but I ain't gonna let no covert hettie corporation silence me bc my gay ideas are putting their shareholdings at risk so enjoy my alleged wrongspeak:
I know you probably don't care about the atrocious state of gay rights in the world today, but fyi the 'progress' pride flag WAS commissioned by a corporation and was designed by a functionally heterosexual male (though I'm sure Danny boy's being paid quite handsomely to keep that lil tidbit under the radar). The creative commons license on the 'progress' pride flag applies to small and large gay owned business (i.e. everyone from your lesbian Etsy hobbyist to Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will be forking out money to use this flag, as opposed to the free publicly owned original flag). So, unless you're stitching your own flag together out of rags (which the design of this flag (deliberately) makes that difficult to do without an industrial workshop) then you have to pay up. Essentially gay people, in %99 of cases, have to pay Daniel 'Straight Man' Quaser and the corporation he works for to use this flag. Gilbert Baker, designer of the original flag, war veteran, actual gay man, committed homosexual rights activist, specifically stated he made the flag public domain because it should be 'accessible to all for public use and owned by everyone'. That's clearly not the intent of the 'progress' pride flag.
As 'inclusive' as the 'progress' pride flag claims to be, it has obviously been designed with complete ignorance of the original flag and it's meanings, which actually included everyone to begin with. Many of the extra designs in the 'progress' chevron are, at best, duplicating the meaning of the original stripes and, at worst, erasing specific gay cultural facets (i.e black actually stands for AIDs victims, not black people). The design's phallic look has also been considered in poor taste given the increasingly toxic rape culture that lesbians currently experience within the queer community; a rape culture widely abetted, supported and encouraged by TRAs. Seems a bit of a dystopic joke to have the trans flag inserting itself into the rainbow when y'all won't even acknowledge widespread TRA violence against lesbians, but I digress.
Looking at the wider context of the 'progress' pride flag paints an even more insidious picture. The book on gay rights was apparently closed and tossed in the bin several years ago when a handful of countries passed marriage equality (despite the fact that even more countries still criminalize homosexuality (and not transgenderism)(in fact many homophobic countries encourage or even enforce gender transition as a 'solution' to homosexuality). It was around this time that studies started showing gays and lesbians are difficult to market to (especially lesbians) but trans, by it's very nature, was potentially a huge cash cow for the retail/beauty/medical industrial complex. And now we live in an era where Sephora is happy to show men in make-up every day, but has still never explicitly featured recognisably same-sex people. Every form I fill out will ask me for my pronouns, but even the Bureau of Stats won't ask about sexuality. Corporations are having an absolute field day appropriating gay and lesbian pride and turning it into something more marketable. Not only are they now able to take advantage of males and their higher disposable incomes, but they've created a whole new level on which to make young girls feel bad enough about themselves that they'll spend what little money they have in the hope they might one day be treated like a human being. Young girls seeking gender transition has absolutely sky-rocketed in the last few years in an industry that previously saw only a handful of mostly male patients. Why is that, do you think? At the very least, do you think it's worth more consideration than the current trend of calling any inconvenient truths 'transphobia' and moving on?
In any case, the 'progress' pride flag to me represents the corporatisation and mutilation of gay and lesbian pride. It's a symbol of corporate greed and society's continued abhorrence of gay people, simply repackaged in 'inclusion' and 'diversity' and 'creating the largest customer base as possible'. Gay and lesbian people are statistically a very small and shrinking minority within the queer community and our voices have been silenced by the far larger, louder, more socially acceptable and more marketable BTQ+ contingent and the billion dollar corporations that support them. There is no 'progress' for gays and lesbians here, just the same old heteronormativity we've always struggled against. Anyone waving that flag isn't part of my community🤷‍♀️

“The beginning of the 20-year dream of going national, one city at a time,” squealed Vile like an excited schoolgirl.

You’re 52 years old! You better start adding cities quickly – good face for radio but someone will notice soon enough even Euphoria would find you too old to play the perpetual adolescent bogan.
Anyway – what did Vile and Tacky O pull out to ensure publicity for their first Melbourne show?
Vile introduced gay newsreader Brooklyn as a “massive homo” who “used to be a real gay whore” and a “woke piece of shit.”
Meanwhile, Tacky O assured listeners she doesn’t have any STIs and keeps her pussy “pristine.”
That got Vile excited.
“You’re like a Greek chick that keeps the vagina fresh for the husband, but 40 guys have gone through the arse.”
Bruno Bouchet, chief content director of the show (a job to be proud of) popped on air to tell listeners he has a “freakishly long french foreskin” and secretly loves pegging.

SpaceTime is Australia’s most popular and respected astronomy and space science news program – averaging over two million downloads every year. We’re also number five in the United States.  The show reports on the latest stories and discoveries making news in astronomy, space flight, and science.  SpaceTime features weekly interviews with leading Australian scientists about their research.  The show began life in 1995 as ‘StarStuff’ on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s (ABC) NewsRadio network.  Award winning investigative reporter Stuart Gary created the program during more than fifteen years as NewsRadio’s evening anchor and Science Editor.  Gary’s always loved science. He studied astronomy at university and was invited to undertake a PHD in astrophysics, but instead focused on his career in journalism and radio broadcasting. He worked as an announcer and music DJ in commercial radio, before becoming a journalist and eventually joining ABC News and Current Affairs. Later, Gary became part of the team that set up ABC NewsRadio and was one of its first presenters. When asked to put his science background to use, Gary developed StarStuff which he wrote, produced and hosted, consistently achieving 9 per cent of the national Australian radio audience based on the ABC’s Nielsen ratings survey figures for the five major Australian metro markets: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.  The StarStuff podcast was published on line by ABC Science -- achieving over 1.3 million downloads annually.  However, after some 20 years, the show finally wrapped up in December 2015 following ABC funding cuts, and a redirection of available finances to increase sports and horse racing coverage.  Rather than continue with the ABC, Gary resigned so that he could keep the show going independently.  StarStuff was rebranded as “SpaceTime”, with the first episode being broadcast in February 2016.  Over the years, SpaceTime has grown, more than doubling its former ABC audience numbers and expanding to include new segments such as the Science Report -- which provides a wrap of general science news, weekly skeptical science features, special reports looking at the latest computer and technology news, and Skywatch – which provides a monthly guide to the night skies. Hi there! My name is Phyllis Allyson Manzano-Lontoc and I am a Certified Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines. I have been working as a Virtual Assistant since January 2008.
Let me give you a brief background of my VA journey. In January 2008, I joined Elance.com. Starting from scratch without any knowledge of being a Virtual Assistant, I started searching for projects that I can do. With only my education and previous work experience of being the Assistant Manager of a family-owned business, I took the risk of starting a career where I would be working with International clients. After a month of searching, I was hired by my first client, he's from New Zealand, for a data encoding project. The succeeding client I had was from Canada, it was a data encoding project as well. Then I had projects with an American based in New York, U.S.A., a Canadian based in California, U.S.A., Australians based in Sydney and Canberra, and the rest is history.
Throughout the years of my VA career, I've learned knowledge and experience but this has not stopped me from enhancing my skills as one needs this in order to last in the virtual world.
In January 2013, I applied for VA certification and was granted the title VAcertified in August 2013.
In 2015, Elance.com merged with oDesk.com to form Upwork, the best freelancing platform in the world. I have been working as a freelancer there since October 2015 but I also worked outside the platform with other clients.
On April 23rd, 2018, PAMLVA Global Assistants was established. Leading a Team of AMAZING Virtual Assistants located around the world, I had one goal in mind, to become one of the best Virtual Assistance Companies in the Philippines. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to close my VA company.
I am currently working as a freelancer on Upwork, and I am a rising talent there. I am open though to any opportunity of working outside this freelancing platform.
I have also hired colleagues on Upwork to continue my virtual assistance company, PAMLVAcertified Virtual Services.
With me, it's personal. I serve my clients with trust and honesty. I ensure that my clients are assured that they are not cheated on, that every dollar paid is reciprocated with quality service. I also believe that communication plays a major role for a project to be successful, hence, I always maintain an open line of communication with my clients.
I am a versatile VA and most of the projects I do are the following: data entry, online research, personal/administrative assistance, customer service, email support, social media marketing, real estate virtual assistance, lead generation, data mining, data collection, data extraction, Facebook management, website updates, transcription, Calendar Management, etc.
I have continued to pride myself on the principles that laid the initial foundation for success: hard honest work, customer satisfaction, and quality service.
I am continuously chasing my dreams and I strive for progress, not perfection.
I cannot say that I'm a self-made VA, as I owe my parents for working hard in order to send me to excellent schools here in the Philippines. I am also thankful to my Teachers because without them, I wouldn't have the knowledge I have now. I also owe it to myself, for continuously trying to learn new things through my experiences and through other people as well and for not giving up whenever I encounter struggles. UK FREE TRADE AGREEMENT WITH AUSTRALIA

The Australian Government welcomes the announcement that Royal Assent has been given to legislation to bring the Australia-United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement into effect in the UK.
The Australia-UK FTA is a historic agreement, representing the UK’s first new trade deal signed since Brexit. It will reset access to the UK market for Australian exporters. Royal Assent paves the way for both countries to bring the agreement into force as soon as possible.
The agreement will remove tariffs on over 99 per cent of the $9.2 billion Australian goods exported to the UK annually. It will help revitalise local manufacturing and provide new access to the UK’s government procurement market worth an estimated half a trillion dollars annually.
In addition, it will see Australian professionals gain access to the UK jobs market on par with EU nationals, with more opportunities for intra-company transfers and for working holiday makers.
This gold-standard agreement goes beyond Australia’s pre-existing approaches in bilateral agreements on gender and the environment by establishing new commitments and cooperation. Provisions on Investor-State Dispute Settlement, which allow investors to initiate legal action against governments, are not included in the agreement.
The agreement also includes a range of commitments that will advance the commercial interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, including providing for royalties to be paid to First Nations artists where their artworks are resold in the UK. Importantly, the Australian Government’s Indigenous Procurement Policy will continue to benefit Indigenous-owned businesses.
The Australia-UK FTA will enter into force after UK processes are complete and Australia and the UK exchange diplomatic notes identifying a commencement date.
