A wise person once told me, I believe it was one of my former clients, that we should not be afraid to have failures because from these failures you would learn, and I definitely agree with him.

Failures are a part of life. Learning from these failures is an opportunity for you to grow as a person, and be a “work in progress”. Let them be your stepping stones to reaching your goals and being successful in life.

My Which Partner AU

you canNOT STOP ME and I can tell you this because this doesn't really affect canon!Which Partner. Yes, there's a canon and a non canon version now. Absolutely chaotic.

Anyways the premise is basically the same as the original, Hayami/Ladybug crushing on Black Cat, Chiba/Black Cat crushing on Hayami, their usual antics, and such. But then Kochou gets stronger and they need allies, and Hayami assigns the bee miraculous to a rather obvious choice- her best friend, Nakamura. Chiba also assigns the fox miraculous to Sugaya. For some reason, in my fanfics, Hayami and Nakamura are forever best friends, and Sugaya is Chiba's best male friend. Anyways, we move on.

Instead of being like Miraculous Ladybug, Nakamura and Sugaya get to keep their miraculouses after a trial of a week- sweet, I know. Hayami/Ladybug knows Nakamura (Queen Bee)'s identity, Chiba/Black Cat knows Sugaya (Reynard)'s identity, no one knows anything else.

Hence, a bunch of stuff:

Nakamura is hella gay for Ladybug in this AU and you cannot change my mind. I dearly wanted her to have feelings for Ladybug in the original Which Partner, but that would mean deviating from canon as she canonically has feelings for Nagisa :/ And I don't want canon!Which Partner to have big differences from Assassination Classroom as Which Partner is supposed to be a mix of ML's powers and AC's universe and characters.

Queen Bee calls Ladybug "milady" which is probably what you've all been waiting for. Black Cat would never do that lol so I need a substitute :D

Queen Bee casually flirts with Ladybug ("I may be Queen Bee, but milady you're the queen of my heart"). Ladybug gets mildly irked at her lack of professionalism but accepts the occasional teasing.

Black Cat finds himself getting a bit jealous during the flirting. He does not know why.

Queen Bee knows Ladybug's bigass crush on Black Cat (in fact, practically everyone knows except Black Cat) and always supports her in her love endeavors, so Ladybug thinks Queen Bee's flirting isn't really serious :0

You can't really blame Ladybug, Queen Bee says she's joking all the time but she's just... hiding her feelings and wishing the best for Ladybug (like what Nakamura did with Nagisa and Kayano).

Queen Bee says she ships Ladybug and Black Cat, which is confusing as she flirts with Ladybug but also wants her to be with someone else (oof, ChibaNakaHaya OT3 anyone?). This is also why Ladybug doesn't take Queen Bee's flirting seriously.

Black Cat thinks he's not supposed to feel bad with the addition of new teammates but he sorta misses the OG duo with Ladybug.

Queen Bee is absolutely c h a o t i c during patrols. Makes memes, flirts, puns, matchmakes, says inappropriate stuff, typical Nakamura stuff.

Reynard is quiet compared to Queen Bee and absolutely chill with everything. Gives zero shits to the romance flirty drama happening in his squad.

Reynard likes to sit on top of roofs alone and stare at the sky for inspiration. He does this quite a lot to de-stress.

Ladybug and Black Cat are the parents of the squad. Usually, it's Ladybug reprimanding Queen Bee, and Bee lowkey whining about it.

Bee and Reynard are both rather free spirited, flexible, and chill, and LB BC can get really annoyed by their lack of organization. This leads to a little bit of conflict.

But they also bring some creativity which greatly helps with akuma battles.

Bee educates them all on meme and vine culture.

Reynard: This akuma empty-

Bee and Black Cat: YEET!

Ladybug: *sighing and shaking her head* They're idiots but they're my idiots.

Also I suddenly want a Queen Bee/Hayami balcony scene like the (sinless) Marichat fics.

And their non-work dynamic is basically this:

Bee: *pining after LB*

LB: *pining after BC*

BC: *pining after Hayami*

Reynard: . . . can you guys please stop it for one (1) second

Reynard and Bee actually get along as they create crazy plans that, after a bit of calculation, actually work.

(It's mainly Bee being crazy and Reynard finding the perfect illusion/trap. And Bee dragging Reynard into her schemes.)

And they're the Ponytail Duo. Yes, Reynard has a small ponytail.

Bee finds out Reynard likes art and says "Hey, you ever seen those works by artsy-bean-pole on the Ladyblog? Their art is absolutely amazing. It's weird and sad why they don't do much art of Reynard but a ton of art for everyone else."

Reynard and Black Cat, in unison: oh shit

(Sugaya immediately draws his alter ego afterwards to avoid suspicion)

Reynard creates disguises for the squad so they can be in superhero form while looking like an ordinary civilian.

This creates a whole new way for them to defeat Kochou and sometimes they investigate fishy areas in disguise to see if they can find Kochou's whereabouts.

Ladybug, Bee and Reynard have somehow simultaneously decided Black Cat is the "smoll kid that needs protection" guy in the squad without saying it out loud.

Bee, at one point: Fuck.

LB and Reynard, frantically covering BC's ears: nO!!

BC: ...

Nakamura runs a semi-popular blog page on the Ladyblog and becomes less active when she gets her miraculous. People get salty when she rarely mentions Queen Bee but stans everyone else. They lowkey think that she hates Queen Bee :0

Nakamura idly mentions how Evillustrator (Sugaya's akuma) looks sort of like Reynard. Sugaya and Chiba panic.

Sugaya: hahAHAHA as if I would ever be a superhero :))))

The group, as a whole, gets along and has minimal conflicts because Bee and Reynard are just... super chill and LB BC don't let their personal feelings get into the way of work.

You Are The Key To Everything

Whatever it is that causes you pain, blesses you. If all you can see is darkness, find the light. Seek for it. I’m sure there will be other people who will help you in finding it. People who want what is best for you when you’re going through difficult times in your life.

Failure is the key to having a meaningful and successful life. With failure you will develop qualities in you that are not present yet and you will gain these qualities. They will be more developed as time goes by. All successful people had failures and these failures didn’t hinder them from achieving their goals. They became their stepping stones to reach their dreams.

When you are anxious or worried, be patient. Learn to wait… For everything. Patience is a virtue and having patience leads to a happy and contented life.

You are the key to everything that will open a new perspective. One that you haven’t seen that will make your life worth living.

Always remember that in every step you take, God is walking beside you. When all else fails, God will never leave you. He will always have your back. Keep your faith in Him and always walk with faith in God. I’m ending this article with a quote I’ve read on Pinterest: “And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you managed to survive. Red is one of my favorite colors. It symbolizes my personality. I used to be an introvert during my younger years, however, I could say I’m an extrovert now. Probably a side effect of my mood condition. I don’t question God why he has given me this illness. I just consider it as a blessing. Yes, I am gifted with a mood condition and blessed. Acceptance is always the key to everything.

Everyone at some point in their lives make mistakes. However, that doesn’t mean they have to pay for them for the rest of their lives. Sometimes good people make bad choices. It doesn’t mean they are bad. It only means they are being human.

As long as they learn from the mistakes they’ve made and they try hard not to make the same mistakes again, then all’s good.

It’s never too late to repent and seek guidance from God. With His guidance, you will be able to always take the righteous path. I should know as I’ve walked in darkness before, however, since two years ago, I’ve tried hard to walk the righteous path. I’ve finally seen the light then and I encourage other people to do the same by shining my light to those in darkness.

There are things I still need to learn, things I’m genuinely sorry for, and things I am beyond proud of. I’m still growing. I’m not stagnant or moving backwards at all. I’ll always be a work in progress.

I’ll keep moving forward knowing that God will always be by my side. Guiding me and helping me with all the battles that I need to overcome. I’ll be swimming the deepest ocean, climbing the highest mountain, and walking the treacherous road knowing that I will always be guided by God.

Proud To Be A Filipino

April 15th, 2024

So when I was in high school, I was not one of the advanced English students, however, I was one of the advanced Math students. My teacher then was Mrs. Ginaline Untiveros. Well, let me think who among my teachers in high school really made an impact on me besides Mrs. Untiveros.

I believe it’s Mrs. Advincula, she’s a Filipino teacher. I can fairly remember the word “Apple”. How to properly pronounce it with an American accent.

She instilled in us the term “colonial mentality”. That we Filipinos believe that we should mimic the lives of Americans, be like them as we were once colonized by Americans way back in the 1900s.

She said we should remain “Filipinos at heart” wherever we may go… whether in the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, etc.. We are born as Filipinos and we shouldn’t forget our roots and our rich history.

I am a Filipino and very proud to be one!

Power of Positivity

April 11th, 2021

I wrote this article three years ago and this is the revised version.

My life is my masterpiece. I’m very grateful to those who reach out to me when they hear and feel my “thoughts” even if I don’t say a single word. It’s a never ending battle for me as I have a mood condition, however, I will continue to walk with faith in God and hope that better days are coming.

Do know that in life, there will always be roadblocks along the way as they are a part of your journey through life.

The most important thing is that we continue to have faith in God, count our blessings each day, be grateful for what we have, and even though we don’t get what we pray for, rest assured that God will give you something much better than whatever you have prayed for.

Do things with great love, enjoy the best things in life which are usually free, always see the brighter side of life, and always believe in the power of prayers.

Pay forward whatever you have received from people ~ whether in cash, in kind, knowledge or skills. Never expect something in return. A simple form of gratitude from them like “thank you “ or “salamat” should be enough to make you happy and contented. That only means that they have appreciated whatever you have given them. Enjoy the little things in life as they are the ones which usually make people happy.

Blessings to everyone and we will all get through this Pandemic. Once again, the world will be a better place if we all help each other.

Be The Light

April 11th, 2024

"She wasn’t born her. She found her, over a long treacherous road and the more treacherous the road became, the more of her she found.”

I can say that I am not the same person I used to be two years ago. That was the time that I encountered one of the storms I’ve had in my entire life. I thought I won’t be able to overcome it, but I did. I’ve learned a lot of lessons throughout my journey in life and in that storm, I learned a lot.

I was able to reflect on things, on life. What my real purpose in life is and I even questioned God then why I had to endure that storm. However, my faith in Him became stronger during that storm, and I can say that I’ve been walking with faith in Him ever since then.

I believe we all get lost sometimes and eventually, we find our way back. What matters most is that you have the will to stand back up if you fall, find your way back if you get lost, walk the righteous path towards God, and always trust God’s plans for you. He will never give you battles or storms that He knows you will not be able to win or overcome.

Be the light for people who are in the dark. They are the ones who need to be saved. It’s time that we encourage people to choose the righteous path towards God. Set an example. Keep shining your light on them. If you believe someone is suffering and going through a difficult time in his life, talk to him. Ask him if he’s okay. Sometimes, people who are suffering suffer in silence. That’s the time when some of them have nervous breakdowns. They don’t know how to seek help. When they talk with you, empathize with them. Tell them how to overcome their battles. Listen with an intent to fix what needs to be fixed and tell him if he’s a non-believer to start praying. Tell him to go to church and fervently pray. God always listens to His children. Tell him to trust God’s plans for him and never lose his faith in God. He may be at his lowest but eventually, he will finally see the light with God’s help.

Let me share with you a quote I’ve read on Pinterest. Shakespeare said: “I always feel happy, you know why? Because I don’t expect anything from anyone. Expectations always hurt… Life is short. So love your life. Be happy… And keep smiling. Just live for yourself and before you speak, listen. Before you write, think. Before you spend, earn. Before you pray, forgive. Before you hurt, feel. Before you hate, love. Before you quit, try. Before you die, live.”

It’s such an amazing quote I found on Pinterest that’s why I’m sharing this.

Never have expectations from anyone as you will only be disappointed. Whenever you give something to people, don’t expect something in return. A simple “thank you” should be enough to make you feel that the person appreciated whatever you have given him. Live life to the fullest as you only live once. Live and cherish every moment you live on Earth as you will never know when you will be joining Our Creator. Keep smiling even though you are carrying a heavy load. Do know that God won’t give you anything He knows you will not be able to overcome. Whenever you have struggles in life, learn how to overcome them and always think that better days are coming. Choose happiness and always know that you are worthy and you are enough. Do things that will nourish your soul.
