was simply wondering... does the fnaf movie have a lot of blood or anything in it like that? i know a lot of horror movies tend to do that so im kinda hesitant because i wanna see it but a lot of blood in live action things is. not something im good at.

but i think if it's one with not a huge amount of blood (or at least it's something i know can be Looked Away From and wont be Everywhere All The Time) then maybe. i can do it yknow???

i tried to google it but it didnt help much (most of the results were like "this movie is rated pg-13 and is a horror movie!" which. doesn't actually answer the question lol)

no you're good!! i was also a little wary of what i was getting into because i don't like horror movies either, I just really like fnaf. and while I don't think they baby-fied the movie, what little violence and horror there is is pretty mild and kind of quick. personally I was able to sit through it just fine! I think the most "gorey" thing in the entire movie is, a character has their face chewed on and their corpse is later shown for a few seconds, but I'm ngl I had a hard time figuring out exactly what I was looking at for as brief as it was and with the lighting in the scene so it wasn't startling or anything.

as for plain ol' blood, there are a few instances of it, but again nothing major:

bloody handprint on a door with a bit of blood dribbling down it

people do get cut and slashed in this movie a good few times, blood seeps through their clothing and you do briefly see the injuries but it's not horrific and I think you could look away if you needed to

characters are stabbed near the end of the movie and their shirts get bloody

there could be more, but i would say the amount of blood pictured is pretty realistic and even mild in some cases. as long as you don't have a critical fear of blood you should be okay! generally if i were a parent i would feel very comfortable with the pg-13 rating and letting a kid watch it.

Krauser is one hell of a man, almost the epitome of masculinity by some skewed American standards, but still attractive nonetheless. But this life hasn't been good to him. Luis doesn't know everything he's been through, but the scars on his body, the haunted look in his eyes, the callousness of his presence; everything screams barely repressed trauma. Luis understands. He's led a fairly shitty life himself, though he doesn't think what he's done matches anything that Jack Krauser has been through.

Inhaling deep on his cigarette, Luis steps towards him, taking the cigarette between two fingers before reaching out with that same hand to run calloused fingers over one of the scars of the other man's arms, following the twisting line of raised scar tissue. Just one piece of the puzzle, the mystery, the story. And he is very curious to read how he got here.

"It looks like you got yourself into quite a lot of fights, mi amigo. Work or pleasure?" His fingertips press against the scar and he looks up at Jack's face. Perhaps he won't even tell him, but it can't hurt to ask.

krauser's response is a flinch - not fear but the jerk of a man unused to affection; so often, skin on skin for him meant a fight. with touch came a bruise, with another - a scar. this man is different. different enough to have hairs stand on end and a chill reach its way up his spine. he forces himself to stand rigid, to allow touch to breach a barrier - to have his scar explored as if not a wound but some sort of story urged into being told.

rather than respond with an essay, the soldier lifts his gaze to meet his questioner - icy blues ( though not without the richness of sapphire ) spy the warmth amidst the other man's gaze. though not the sentimental type, krauser could imagine one could find comfort there. comfort, pain and a whole lot of other things.

like him, this man is marred, too. he knows this much.

"fighting's all a man's good for. comes with the territory of being a soldier." pride laden words respond though not without an edge. a mantra drilled into him since he were young. a view the other perhaps wouldn't share. luis was, as he'd once said, the 'brains' after-all. but why would he ever spare a thought for the brawn?

"what if i told you that there was pleasure to be had in the work? that a man's at his best out there-" words repeated to the troops he'd once trained, chanting no different to that of the brainless cult inhabiting the village. krauser knows it. knows it enough that eyes are quick to part from the spaniard. that, were luis to look close enough, he'd perhaps see the memories of a man traumatised reflected in the glassy cerulean of eyes disturbed by a ragged scar.

"i guess-" a shrug of his shoulders, a sigh because though he clings to what he believes is right ( he's every reason to know he's wrong ) "you wouldn't understand that...would you?"

One for the mun from me! I just wanted to say what a privilege it’s been to see you on the dash over the past few months. I’ve never seen someone else put such heart and soul into their world building before, and seeing each new piece of meta has given me so much serotonin, not least because it’s also given me more food for thought in how I view Teyvat myself. 

Meta aside, your writing as always is a treat to follow and read (your descriptions alone are always so vivid and detailed) so I hope, from the bottom of this dandelion heart, that 2023 is kind to you and allows you to continue exploring this big wide Genshin world to your heart’s content. (Oh, and that Dain comes home for you, but that one alas is in the hands of MHY!)

Let me tell you that it's an honor back to be mutuals with you. One of the things I adore the most (be it if I can interact directly or watch from the sidelines, it doesn't matter) is see people diving further in the lore revolving around their muse of choice and exploring more their muse in ways that weren't in-game, and you're at the top list of that. I love reading your headcanons about Jean directly, about the way she sees the world or tidbits about her childhood and how it affects the individual she is to this day. I also enjoy reading a lot about your take of Mondstadt's politics including the management of the Knights of Favonius at her hand, not only giving depth to her but also to something key that concerns Mondstadt in more ways than one.

I can't wait to interact with you more and see through our plotting stages in order to do something deeper! We have a good basis to go from all things considered from Dain's perspective but also from Jean's and I'm looking forward to see what we can do together.
