#pose taken directly from the kikuomiku4 album cover bc i’ve been listening to UFO on repeat for idk how many days now #finally gave me the inspiration i needed to do something like this it’s like both sad and super whimsical #actually tbh it gives me more wishful vibes now that i think about it but 1. idk what wishful looks like and 2. cashmere design my beloved #kikuo just in general has a lot of whimsysad and/or fundark which is why i love him #tbh ufo has quickly shot up to one of my fave songs it’s the iconic accordion and the tempo being unstable in places #uh anyway ignore me being a kikuo nerd again #wahhh this was fun to work on it has consumed me these past three days #jumping up and down hehehehehe #glad i finally cut to the ‘it’s done *collapses*’ stage of the arting process bc i’ve been having trouble finishing pieces lately #man i WISH i could come up with poses this good on my own. idc i’m still proud of this #my art #ok yeah i just got the time total. 12 hours #i knew it would be a long time but i didn’t think that long #tbh a lot of that was spent inefficiently bc i kept having to resize the image up when i realized the pixels were too crunchy #and when you make an image bigger the lines get blurry so then you have to redo them. yeah i had to do that TWICE. like a dummy.#12 hours used to be like par for the course for me but i’ve finally gotten faster. or maybe i’ve just stopped doing as many full figures #lol

Haha embarrassingly enough (?) I have three whole playlists. Athanasia, Athanasia: Instrumental, and Lucathy. Yes I'm very good at naming.

The lucathy one is slightly cringe, I'll admit, but I still think it's pretty good. Now the Athy ones are pure art, I'm not taking any criticism on this matter. I use the instrumental one to write and study!

This might be silly but I take "playlist making" very seriously. The song's lyrics, melody and Vibes™ have to fit, it's absolutely forbidden to choose a song just because of the title, and overused artists are banned (okay there's a single Mitski song but I genuinely think it fits lucathy). I try to keep them semi short because those eternal playlists get tiring for me. And I also try to use songs in different languages, so there're songs in english, french, korean and japanese.

Out of all the songs I used, the one I think fits lucathy the most is «千ノ縁 (A Thousand Fated Connections)» by Yonder Voice. Yes I'm a Touhou fan.

For Athy, «Bulbel» by Mili is absolutely perfect. Or «絶対的一方通行～ Unreachable Message», also by Yonder Voice. Both give a lot of LP Athy-Athy feels. I'm eventually using them in some way or another in a fanfic lmao.

what's an appropriate way to say thank you to a coworker who brought you a sample of the cologne your blorbo is [most probably] using????????????

it's a super interesting scent btw!!! from the bottle it's very lemony, a lot of cypress, pine(?), and off the bat it almost smelled a bit like honey on my skin?? there is a lot going on in it, and at first it seemed sweet, but once it calms down, most of this early sweetness is gone (there is still a tiny bit that lingers though, which is really nice), and the bitter, fresh parts with the sea vibes take over. it's very elegant, clean, yet unique. there is a vibrant streak to it, but it smells old school, like a classic. after about an hour it got deeper on me, and more spice appeared, which was very lovely. it also has a very prominent layer of that usual masculine scent most male fragrances have, while still being airy, so it's not that in your face feeling, but the one that really draws you in instead. overall the mediterranean description is spot on. a massive W in my eyes

#deranged!#but to be fair to me!#he is a fragrance nerd and im into this stuff too #and we were discussing some very important matters at work - as you do #and i was like yeah for me there is this one tom ford i want to smell #and he was like oh actually i do have a sample of that... i could bring it to you :)))))#and i said sure thank you ☺️#and then he asked me why so i had to act like a normal person??? like. uhhhh i was just uhhhh talking about it with someone uhhhhh #r #(obviously fragrances smell different on everyone but yeah! this is super nice)#(on my skin after i sprayed it it was incredibly sweet for a sec #but once it dries thats gone)#(what happens after that also depends on the person like most things on me tend to become spicy)#(have to say tho - its a true summer scent and it doesnt last particularly long)#(but i love that it handles the lemon cypress duo so nicely #and the sea vibe as well #because im always wary of these things smelling like air fresheners 💀)#(but there is enough stuff in this to balance that out and give it a richer deeper scent. its hot ill say it.)#(i also have to be careful because my own perfume is very strong and i keep smelling that on myself lmao)
