Question, how big IS everyone in your kaiju au? Are they 10-20 feet tall or are they bigger? And do they have extra appendages, if so how many! (and if it would be okay, may i be called OddBall Anon please! (> ^ <) )

I have been putting this off a little too long, BUT!!! I have finally gotten a good idea on the heights of each of the characters in this AU! (Minus RSA and Rollo at the moment)

Now you might be wondering: why is there such a stark difference in height when some of the boys are the same exact height in game?! There's a simple explanation for that, actually.

See, compared to the Monster!AU, the Kaiju's heights are roughly rounded off based off the animals they're based off of. For example, Ace and Deuce: they're both roughly the same height in game, but because Ace is based on a fox and Deuce a canine in this AU, foxes are smaller than regular sized dogs. Hence, Deuce being bigger and Ace using this as an excuse to hitch a ride on his back 😂

Now for those of you who are visual, I've gone through and done a height chart of the boys using my main persona Faun (5'1") as a basis for comparison. As a treat, I did everyone here on the list! UvU

Some of these guys are so big that they dwarf/hide some of their pack. >.> But this should give at least a better idea on how big everyone is!

Trust me, the original height I had for them had Crowley being at 200 ft tall, which would have made interaction nigh impossible 😱 And yes, I was also trying to use the Godzilla and King Kong as examples to go off of, which would have made me being able to write fluff a little difficult realistically ;;^;;

i thought too much about sex determination in dragons and now it's one am and i'm manic

color determination must be non-chromosomal, right, otherwise there's no genetic way *at all* to get all the spread of colors in the clutch... but then why is the ratio of F to M so perfectly 50-50... that's sooo easy to explain with XY or ZW or EVEN X0 system

but then why would there be two morphs of female with such ridiculously different hatch rates. i am having SO much trouble finding examples of species with female morphs, it seems like everything that does morphs only has them in the males.

but if they really are just morphs they suck because there isn't even a female-mimic morph and that's like always the second. damn. morph. so they must be distinct sexes, even if they aren't determined chromosomally...

BUT THEN I'M BACK AT THE START. how is it at all useful to evolve five distinct morphs?? what kind of process leads to *five* discrete phenotypes?

eventually i rolled around to the "royal jelly" hypothesis for goldmaking. if a female egg is big enough (or *made* big enough) then getting the right attention will turn her gold. the males just go by size, so small eggs are blue and big ones are bronze.

the only flaw in this plan is that it means greens should grow to any size, not be small. for every gold is a gang of ten monstrous greens as big or bigger than all her bronze suitors. this is not a downside. it solves all of my problems except the one where i want to explain canon...

Dragonflight has been pretty fun. Some lore stuff I'm very wary of, but definitely not, say, BFA or something. Like there's some stuff that MIGHT be retcons or MIGHT be plotholes or MIGHT come up later and they're teasing us and it gets me super nervous lol

Also now got two new ships, because uhhhh that one later questline with the Bronze dragons and two people getting caught together.

Can't believe it's been long enough I'm nostalgic for the Heart of Azeroth lol

I'm looking forward to raid though also made a horrible mistake with one of my professions because I misread a tooltip and am kinda worried about goldmaking for gearing. Ugh. I wish M+ came out a few weeks earlier so I could get a few good pieces out of that.

Zero to One Million Gold

Day #2

Nothing special happened today. I Q’ed up for some dungeons to level up this character. i found 3 BoE greens in dungeons which i instantly put on the auction house. Meanwhile i was questing in Stranglethorn where i found a Ranger’s Bow which is worth 1k on my realm. This will take a while to sell. 

As for now my character is level 32 after playing 7 hours and 39 minutes of playing.

Now i have to go to work. All auctions are reposted and i have a current balance of 181g47s20c
