1938 Steyr 220 Sport Roadster
1938 Steyr 220 Sport Roadster by Gläser on display at the 2021 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. Of the six cars thus bodied, two remain: one is in a museum in Austria and this is the other one. Originally delivered to a Berlin Steyr dealer as a demo car, which has led to the usual rumors that it used to belong to Eva Braun. The engine is of Sport specifications, meaning 85 rather than the standard 55 horsepower, thanks to dual carbs and exhausts, larger valves, and a camshaft with longer duration.

Turbos at the Greenwich Concours D'Elegance
Forced induction aplenty in Connecticut
There was a whole lot of head-spinning iron to take in at the Concours, but the star(s) of the show for this abnormally-aspirated motorcycle owner were the five factory Turbos of Brad Beers.
This is simply the finest collection of factory turbocharged motorcycles in the world. The Barber Motorsports Museum in Alabama is a respectable second. How do we know this? Because everyone who's seen both collections has given the nod to Brad. That's how.
Yeah, there were some great cars there. My heart skipped a few beats when Dale pointed out the 1964 Bill Thomas Cheetah to me. First one I've seen in the metal and it's more gorgeous than the hundreds of photos my eyes have burned holes into.
But those Turbos...

Greenwich Concours D'elegance through the eye of a Brownie Special
Recently I had acquired a 1940's Brownie Special from a family member.  This camera has been in the family since it was sold.
So I thought what better way to actually try this camera then use it on period cars and dressed people.  Thanks to those that let me take their portraits at the Concours that day. It was fun using the camera and I will be definitly be using it again in the future.  Here are my results.

Packard Panther, 1954 - Best in Show, Greenwich Concours Americana 2012 by Kompressed Via Flickr: One of four Packard Panther concept cars built, and one one of two that reportedly survive to this day. Packard's mid-50s design language is pretty evident here, though the car itself sat a bit lower than most Packards of the day. Each of the 4 prototypes was a little different. Dick Teague played a role in its design, it was said. Seen at the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance 2012. Full Set | ClassicBlog | HemmingsDaily
